The hotsprings and jacuzzi are awesome. The hotelrooms are actually bungalows which is fantastic. It is also in the middle of the nature. It is also very clean.

Hot springs on site were the best feature. The best part was the hot springs were divided into smaller sections so we had our own private jacuzzi all the time.

The grounds of the hotel are lovely. The cabins are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. They are each on their own little plot and feel very private. The hot springs are absolutely stunning; there are 3-4 hot spring pools and a jacuzzi sitting in lovely surrounds. There’s also a bar at the hot springs serving very good cocktails which were reasonably priced.

The staff was super nice and the facilities are in great condition. Amir and the other staff helped us book the ATV Tour and it was amazing. When it comes to the rooms, we booked the one with a private jacuzzi. It was cozy and comfortable and the fact that they have complementary bug repellent available in the rooms is something we really appreciated.

Words cannot describe how amazing this hotel is. It has a huge forest, with all the rooms overlooking the forest. The rooms are luxurious, and we had a private jacuzzi outside our room in the middle of the forest. The staff were all very friendly and the restaurant at the hotel is amazing.

A wonderful resort nestled in a rainforest. The bungalow was very comfortable and quiet. The access to the jacuzzi was astonishing. The restaurant is good and the service is impeccable. We saw monkeys and a lot of birds.

Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Several warm pools for soaking and sipping a cocktail. Slides into one pool and the river. Big room with nice terrace (with outdoor bed and hammock, plus jacuzzi that we didn’t try. Set perfectly into the rainforest, with monkeys, birds, amazing wildlife. A wonderful end to a wonderful trip to Costa Rica.

Overall a nice stay. The hotel is generally a little bit rough around the edges. The finishing is quite bad in the bathrooms and pools. The rooms are pretty but very very dark on the inside, and very basic in their finish. The private jacuzzi is a stunning feature but they leave them open all day so they’re filled with leaves and dead bugs by the end of the day. It’s close to most of the sites in la Fortuna and the hotel runs many excursions in the area that are very fun. Overall I would say it’s a nice option, just very overpriced. It doesn’t feel as luxurious as what you pay for.

PROS: I took my fiancé for his birthday and the property was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It was such a nice getaway! The property was very easy to navigate, however, you do need a flashlight at night. Our bungalow and the property as a whole was very clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept peacefully. Wonderful staff! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We loved Rondell at the hot springs bar; A funny guy. The hot springs was very relaxing. We saw a beautiful toucan every morning! We wish we would've hung out in La Fortuna more than just our last night. We bar hopped on the strip then ate at Lava Lounge while a band played. The ride wasn't far and the locals were friendly. We felt safe. The excursions were AMAZING!! We would definitely recommend waterfall rappelling at Pure Trek (awesome staff and best excursion). We also did white water rafting and ATV's which was a blast! CONS: The service at restaurant on the property was very slow. The food was mediocre tasting but always fresh. The breakfast was better than the lunch and dinner. I would suggest trying food down La Fortuna. The pool was too cold for anyone to get in.

We enjoyed our private bungalow with jacuzzi, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good. Great location with amazing volcano views.

The facilities were great and the location with a direct view of the Arenal Volcano was amazing. There is a nice pool and jacuzzi to relax, a exeptional breakfast and some nice hikes in the direct environnement.

Location was great! Staff (Alexandra at the front desk) were fantastic. Pool w pool bar was great for late afternoon happy hour and snack. The ROOM was perfect with jacuzzi tub on the balcony. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The snack bar food was good, and the location of the pool was phenomenal. The waterfall in the pool was a fun addition, as was the cover over the Jacuzzi. The landscaping was absolutely incredible. Felt almost like Hawaii.

We stayed here very last minute. We were supposed to stay at Arenal Waterfall lodge for our 3 nights in La Fortuna and after the first night I said no way. Luckily the 1 king bed/1 twin bed with private jacuzzi was available for our other two nights and SAVED our trip! It was so luxurious! Everything we hated about the other hotel this hotel had done right. There were no bugs in our room, it was super modern with plenty of outlets and lights, and you still felt like you were in the jungle even though you were close to town, because of the luxurious gardening. Plus after a long day of hiking when you are too tired to move, there is a fabulous restaurant on site with the most attentive kind waiters! In addition, this hotel was as spread out as Arenal Waterfall lodge but the smart people at this hotel had golf carts to help people with all their luggage! It is so spread out that we were never once bothered by noise of another guest. We felt like we were secluded in our own piece of paradise! The room was spectacular. There was a separate toilet on one side of the bathroom, a separate shower (with waterfall/rain shower head) and a huge vanity in the middle. The bed had ample outlets. There are various light settings, black out curtains controlled by a remote, and the A/C was perfect. The highlight of this room was the private jacuzzi. sitting in it while it rained was something my 13 year old still talks about!

Paradise. If you’re considering booking this hotel, do it, you won’t be disappointed! So much attention to detail throughout the entire property. I must have said ‘it’s just so pretty’ HUNDREDS of times. Lol. Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The property is gated, so you have a keycard to get back in. My husband can’t go to sleep without white noise, but you literally hear the river and birds (while being bug free and having great air conditioning) and this is the first time he’s been able to sleep without his phone going. TVs have Netflix so you can just log into your account. Shower is huge! Waterfall shower head with HOT water. Great toiletries as well. Restaurant was top notch, we tried almost everything on the menu and every single thing was delicious! Staff was great, especially Ronaldo, Rolando, and Summer. We enjoyed every meal, sometimes while watching toucans jump around in the trees, and also a great view of the volcano. Included breakfast- SOO GOOD!! Fresh fruit and mixed bread come with your order. It was raining when we finished dinner one night and we were asked if we wanted a ride back to our room in a golf cart. Lol, We declined but then they insisted we take umbrellas. The staff is just so pleasant and goes out of their way to make sure you’re happy. Pools/hot tubs are just gorgeous!! Community spaces as well, there’s loungers, tables/chairs, hammocks, swings. All tucked away in different areas to always find a quiet spot. Highly recommend!!!

Lovey lush property that cannot be beat. Plenty of activities, our 8 year old loved the water slide, soccer field and basketball court. There is also a paddle ball court but it was $60/hour extra. All other amenities are free. Free unlimited coffees from a machine in the gift shop was wonderful enjoyed plenty of cappuccinos! Perfect location, it is on a quiet, small side road just outside of town. We enjoyed walking down the road to get volcano pictures and the neighbourhood properties/farms. It is a safe area. The hotel itself is completely walled in, you cannot see inside the property at all until the wall slides open for you when coming and going. Staff are friendly and quick to help. They will drive you around the property on a golf cart if you like! Accommodation is individual villas, we had a luxury one with the whirlpool on the deck but they all looked private and concealed with natural flora. The room was modern and tidy. We requested house keeping clean the floor but unfortunately it was just swept or vacuumed, they don't seem to mop, the floor was filthy (made our feet black) the entire four nights we were there. I would say this is the only thing that could have been improved upon. We had a car, it was just a couple minutes to town by driving. We would absolutely stay here again as a base for exploring La Fortuna area. Pick this hotel if you want a quiet stay, immersed in plants! Restaurant had good food, free (delicious) breakfast and the servers work so hard.

Really lovely hotel! The room was spacious, the property was beautiful and green, very close to the river. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was fantastic. We stayed there for 3 nights and really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. The restaurant staff was very helpful and gracious. Shout out to Summer from the restaurant who was very kind and friendly and provided excellent service and menu suggestions!

Paradise Hot Springs is an excellent choice and I am so happy we stayed here!! The hotel is not super big and does not feel like an overcrowded resort with a ton of people. The rooms- clean, spacious, huge bathroom, nice AC, free water bottles daily. No bugs, had everything we needed. The pools- they have so many different pools ranging from different temperatures!! The pools are super clean as they drain them daily to clean them. We actually saw the entire pool being drained every day to clean since they don’t use any chemicals!! Pools feel AMAZING. Especially after a long, tour filled day. The food- Breakfast is 10/10, variety is great, the fruit is insanely sweet. There’s an omelet bar, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, gallo pinto, meat, bread, and more!!! Dinner- the restaurant is also open for dinner! They offer their menu items or a buffet!! Love the buffet food, everything is so good. Location- excellent location to La Fortuna, call an Uber if you don’t have a car! It’s only a $4 USD, and a 8 min ride to town!! Overall this is a beautiful property and the closest view of the volcano! Negative- the only negative thing I can think of is that if you stay on a top floor room, when it rains it’s SUPER LOUD, and kind of scary. Since the roof is made of metal, when it rains it sounds like you’re in a tin can and the noise of the rain is scary.

Paradise Hot Springs truly lives up to its name! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay in La Fortuna. The setting is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery with a stunning view of Arenal Volcano right from the property. The hot springs were a highlight—very clean, well-maintained, and the perfect temperature to unwind. The pools are cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. The entire property feels very serene and never crowded. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. It’s clear that the staff takes great pride in keeping everything in top condition. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with gorgeous views, clean facilities, and natural hot springs, this is the place to be. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at paradise thermal hot springs resort! The facilities were impeccable and the staff were super friendly and attentive. We got to experience beautiful views of the volcano every morning while sipping local coffee from our balcony. The included buffet styled breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of fruits, local foods, and pastries. The thermal pools were incredibly beautiful with tropical plants surrounding everything. There was even a private thermal infinity pool just for guests that overlooked a beautiful field leading up to the volcano. We definitely recommend staying here when you visit La Fortuna. PS: if we book through a third party site, my husband and I always call the hotel ahead to confirm our reservation. So far, we have never had issues, but I say this because we did witness one couple who were very upset due to complications with their booking. Although I don’t know the specifics of their situation, I did notice that the staff were very professional and courteous towards them. Pura Vida!

This is our second year in a row coming to Paradise Hot Springs resort and we will be coming back! It is a hidden gem, with beautiful spacious and clean rooms, amazing clean hot pools, beautiful grounds and views of the Arenal Volcano, and little bonuses like the Finca Cafe and the new infinity pool overlooking the volcano! Staff is amazing and helpful for anything you need for your stay in the La Fortuna area. Great breakfast cafe included, and the restaurant is very good and has live music several nights each week. Love this place!

We loved this place! The grounds were stunningly beautiful with mature plants everywhere, rooms were lovely and comfortable, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was big with natural light. We got a wonderful couples massage and the food was really fresh and delicious. Staff all spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. We especially loved the coffee shop that overlooked the volcano.

The hotel was lovely. Our room was stand-alone, with a private terrace and jacuzzi. Everything was very clean, and the reception and restaurant staff friendly and helpful. We frequently walked to the centre which took about 20 minutes.

The grounds are beautiful, the sound of the river by the room, the jacuzzi and the delicious breakfast.

We enjoyed using the main pools as well as the personal jacuzzi on our room's patio. Our room had nice decor. The breakfast had many food and drink options.

This hotel was a great! It had so many surprises. The gated entry made it feel safe and secluded. The river running just behind our room was so peaceful to listen to. Food was delicious and the staff were so attentive. They even picked us up with a golf cart from one of the further away pools and dropped us back at our room. Our private outdoor jacuzzi was amazing! Never got a view of the volcano due to rain but that didn't stop us from having a great stay. Pura Vida!

What a gorgeous place with incredible landscaping, beautiful grounds, attentive and helpful friendly staff. Rooms have incredible amenities including spa robes, alexa, flat screen TV, private outdoor jacuzzi lined in stone surrounded by palms. Private cabanas and a rushing river going by the property. Gorgeous pool with relaxing atmosphere surrounded by beautiful agave and palms. Massage available for reasonable prices and excellent breakfast included in the room price. I wouldn't go anywhere else in La Fortuna.

Beautiful views, location was great and the staff was super friendly and kind. We loved the night frog walk and the rooms were clean, spacious and relaxing. The jacuzzi and pool area was lovely too. Highly recommend!

The location is surrounded with nature, and has its own frog sanctuary where the staff give a free tour every evening. The pool area with jacuzzi is very cozy and gorgeous. There was an outdoor shower in our condo, and I have to admit it was amazing taking a shower in the nature.

Deluxe double room is exceptional. Great bed, spade, shower and a jacuzzi too. You’re surrounded by the rain forest also so something of an immersive experience.

The comfortable and spotless clean rooms, the private jacuzzi, the awesome and very tasty breakfast and last but not least all the wildlife you can spot with the help of the staff on the propery and trees around! We saw hummingbirds, toucans and a sloth! It was absolutely amazing!

Just awesome. Great room with jacuzzi. 2 tours were included, sloths on the property and an awesome evening walk with lots of frogs and even a snake. Breakfast included as well, free hot chocolaté and Coffee available 24h. Friendly staff and great food and breakfast. Loved it.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect. The room was spacious and the private Jacuzzi was an absolute hit for the whole family. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and the restaurant had live music every night. We would definitely come back.

New hotel that is very private. Quiet and relaxing location with very attentive staff. The villas are very new and having a jacuzzi is just great! Being surrounded by the forest is also very soothing.

Amazing value for money. Absolutely everything was perfect. The room was extremely clean and smelled good. The beds and the pillows were super comfortable. The thermal resort is just breathtaking, it’s huge and very convenient - you get a locker and towels and there’s a special area for guests only which has bungalows and separated bar. The spa is absolutely gorgeous, clean, pleasant and well equipped. The staff is very friendly and helpful. After checkout you get to spend the whole day at the hot springs and it’s wonderful! We had a wonderful stay and didn’t want it to be over!

Loved everything! Lifelong memories. Wonderful experience all around. Definitely worth the price. My husband and I spent our anniversary here. My second time staying here and it’s just as wonderful as it was 10 years ago! The staff are so welcoming and helpful, the property is exceptionally beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and attention to detail, everyone gets a robe to wear to the hot springs (even kids), world class natural hot springs! We did the Tabacon Experience couples spa treatment (wonderful mud massage in the middle of the jungle) and we ate at every restaurant, which were all spectacular. You can eat in your robe at Ave restaurant after spending the day in the hot springs which was fun! Be sure to try the tasting dinner menu at Tucanes (make a reservation for this restaurant). Overall, a very magical experience in the jungle. Plus so many activities in the area that the concierge can help you arrange.

Amazing resort! The hot springs is an amazing experience, the spa was so relaxing. The staff is amazing and very helpful we also had the Ephemeral table experience that they offer at the hotel, one of the best experiences we ever had, the chef Daniel and the waiter Victor were amazing, they made the experience even better. The hotel is very clean, rooms are big and clean. Location is good and close to the Arenal Volcano, hanging bridges..

A beautiful hotel and surroundings, with a great view of the volcano and loads of birds in the gardens. The breakfast was amazing, and the room very clean and comfortable. The real difference was the staff - they were some of the friendliest and most helpful people we encountered. And of course, the AMAZING hot spring - which never felt crowded and were out of this world beautiful.

My husband and I decided to go back after celebrating our honeymoon in 2018 and it was as memorable as it was the first time. The amenities, including our private hot springs jacuzzi in the Honeymoon Suite, was the perfect way to end the evenings in the rain forest. Thank you to all the staff we interacted with during our stay - Carolina, Randall, Jason, Gustavo, Danilo and all the staff in the restaurants and on the location! One of the highlights of our stay was the service provided by Maikol Salas - he was attentive and gave us personalized recommendations. We visited the resort for our best friend's wedding and it was absolutely perfect! The staff is kind, generous, professional and always willing to help with any of our needs. The rooms are huge and have the most stunning view of the volcano; the villas are unbelievable too! The food was delicious everywhere we went. The breakfast buffet had plenty of delicious options. The bar in the pool was at the perfect temperature to relax and view the volcano. We had so much fun seeing the animal sanctuary and experiencing the lazy river at Club Rio. I loved that there was so much to do at the resort whether you wanted to relax by the pool/hot springs or have fun zip lining and tubing; you could do it all! I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for their next vacation spot! Not to mention the wedding itself was also so beautifully done with a view of the volcano followed by a fun party down by the river.

The Springs Resort offered everything I needed on my vacation. From the first moment we arrived we were treated like royalty with friendliness and pampering. The staff are exceptionally friendly and many remembered our names during our short 4-day stay. The multiple hot springs pools are drained and cleaned daily. The swim up bar was such fun. Our room was grand, with an amazing view of Arenal volcano. The housekeeping staff were very respectful and we enjoyed the nightly turn-down service. The Club Rio center has fun activities such as river tubing, kayaking, climbing wall and animals. The activities are mild and if you want more adventure, the concierge is happy to assist with booking adventures. The concierge, Silvia, was exceptionally responsive and helpful on many accounts. The food in the breakfast buffet was very good. Limited short order options. We enjoyed sushi several times and had a wonderful dinner in Las Ventanas where they are cultivating a growing wine list. We hope to return one day to experience this beautiful resort.

The property is amazing. We went in the off season so less visitors and the staff was quick for everything. From check in to check out the staff was amazing and very helpful. The restaurants at the resort are convenient. The steakhouse was on point and had a great wine selection. The property is amazing with so many swimming pools and hot springs to go into. The activities at the property are very cool and reasonably priced. The room had an amazing view and it was so lovely having coffee in the morning to looking at the volcano. Overall this place is amazing and I would recommend it.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful! This was hands-down one of our favorite places we have ever stayed! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and beautiful! We absolutely loved the various Hot Springs. Although most of our days were quite cloudy, we did get one beautiful day of volcano views. I was so happy I built in time to each afternoon to spend at the hotel Hot Springs, we didn’t want to leave! We visited in August 2025, since it was not peak season there was much less people, we had no problem finding Hot Springs with no one else in them. Club Rio activities were a bonus, we did the wildlife tour and the river tubing tour, both were great! We had the breakfast buffet daily and never got tired of it, we also loved the restaurants on site, Tres Cascadas and Las Ventanas. Highly highly recommend!

Beautiful location and resort. Family of four with two teens. A splurge for us but for the amenities, location, view, rating and comparable price for this level of resort, we found this is the best. Friendly welcoming staff. Secure, comfy, clean, stay in a kind of duplex cabin, place to park, patio, facing looming Arenal. Thermal pools just for guests, different temps and setups, large central pool and bar; very peaceful at night. We ate at the Italian restaurant- excellent. 10 minutes from La Fortuna- cute town, lots to do(we drove up from Playa Potrero- 4hours great drive, Lago Arenal and Volcano, Mistico Hanging Bridges, just incredible). They'll golf cart you around the resort or just enjoy the walk. Huge buffet breakfast plus they'll cook omelets, native dishes. Watch the morning mist and clouds engulf the volcano. Nice gift shop. Hard working staff.

The views of the Arenal volcano from our room were amazing! The room was very comfortable with huge windows to soak in the views. Bathroom and shower were very fancy. Everything was very clean. Staff were all incredibly friendly and very attentive. Swim up bars, the food (especially the sushi) and the hot springs were all great! So cool that the pools were heated with the hot springs water. The free buffet breakfast was a bonus and very, very nice.

The resort overall was very cleanest I’ve ever seen. Everyone was very nice and informational. They always gave their best! The breakfast was over the top. I wasn’t expecting much however a smoothie juice bar, lots of vegetarian options, variety of breads cheeses, jams, pastries, hot foods, and a omelette bar. What more can you ask for! There are plenty of hot spring pools for everyone. We never felt it was over crowded and if it is, what’s wrong with a little fun. The pool bar is one the best serving drinks and full meals or snacks from their sushi restaurant. The property is maintained beautifully and not outdated besides maybe the rooms. They do need an extra chest of drawers to put away clothes. Included is a fridge with one time fill of mini bar - water bottles, coke, beer. If you’re celebrating any occasion, let them know! And the welcome drink can be alcoholic and nonalcoholic which was really nice!

The staff were very helpful at all stages of the stay. The hotel is clearly very well run with a focus on the guests enjoyment. The property is immaculately maintained with amazing views of the volcano from most rooms. Rooms are all single storey semi detached units with parking outside which gives the site a motel feel. Sitting in the hot pools watching humming birds feed from the plants around the pool was a real highlight, as was watching the iguanas who clearly enjoy sitting in the hot water feeds. Breakfast was of a high quality and seemed a lot calmer than the standard buffet breakfast which can become a bit of a scrum. This is probably as a result of needing to prebook your time slot for breakfast which I felt was rather restrictive - but clearly it works. Gift shop prices were very reasonable by comparison to other shops we visited. Security is good which was reassuring.

Great resort, very clean, great views of volcano. The morning yoga was wonderful. Breakfast was great with lots to choose from and the most amazing views in the patio. Sushi was very good. Whatever they wash the linens is smells wonderful like essential oil. The springs are nice and enjoyable. Staff was excellent! Italian restaurant was just ok so we stayed with the other restaurants. Will return.

Spacious and very clean rooms with a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Perfect location near to La Fortuna centre, having its own trail path to offer you a walk in this! Every room has its own parking spot.

Location, location, location. Rooms as advertised; comfortable, clean and quiet. Wonderful 4 Day Stay at Hotel Campo Verde Absolutely wonderful stay at Campo Verde. Cottages are as advertised and the views from your door step are spectacular. I was in cabin 2. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Bed sleeps well and shower water pressure was quite strong, which is great pressure after a day of tours and adventures. Air conditioning worked fine. Area is very peaceful; especially at night and early mornings. Real sounds of nature to fall asleep and awaken too. Very minimal traffic noise for my location. There is a Steakhouse directly across the street. Music can be a bit loud during dinner hrs, esp. if your cottage is closer to hotel entrance. Ate there twice and the food is very good. Expect American prices as each dinner (200 gram steak) was about $30-$35 with one beer. Also a couple of restaurants and grocery/gift shop about a 2 / 5 minute walk from hotel. Very convenient. Only a couple slight negatives: 1) bathroom lighting could be brighter, 2) breakfast is just “OK.” Coffee, juice, rice/beans, potatoes, ham or sausage, pancakes and fruit. Just not much flavor. However, good enough protein to start the day’s activities. Otherwise, a great stay. Highly recommend if seeking great views of volcano in a quiet setting and comfortable rooms without all the commotion of a larger hotel/resort setting.

What a place! It exceeded all my expectations. I had cabin 7 with the most amazing view of the volcano and the incredibly well kept gardens. Very comfy bed, useful fridge, spacious room, super clean, and a very private terrace area with table and chairs. Great AC too. The hotel has its own little forest trail with stream where I photographed some great birds. The location is superb for a bird photographer like me. Nice and quiet but within easy reach of all the places I wanted to go. Free allocated parking space and easy walk to the cabins. Breakfast was typical Tico, buffet style and plenty of it. There's a mini market (no fresh stuff but great for drinks and snacks) and a wonderful bakery cafe called Raul Castano within a 200yd walk. Brian the receptionist is fab and speaks great English. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and polite. Highly recommend it and would definitely go back.

Very accommodating staff. Check in agent was helpful in recommending restaurants and even made phone calls to help us locate a Catholic church and research Mass times. Hearty, delicious, healthy breakfast. Quiet room. Great bathroom and shower. Small fridge was helpful. Good WIFI. Great location, easy to access with plenty of parking, a bit away from busy part of town so we didn't have to struggle to get on/off main road, but still easy to drive to restaurants and activities. Easy pick up / drop off for tourist buses at reception area. Great value. Reasonably priced compared to alternatives in area.

An amazing location in the countryside with a beautiful setting and an incredible view of Volcán Arenal. Very quiet and peaceful, with access to a short but lovely forest trail. Each cabin has a deck where you can sit in the mornings with your coffee and listen to the birds and monkeys. Spacious room with a nice bathroom. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and assisted with making arrangements. A bit far from town, but easy to get around by Uber.
