Li Ter Hotel was the best choice we could make for our 4 night stay in Wallonië. First of all did we get a free room upgrade, which was amazing. Check-in with a codepad. We had a kitchen, a living room, bedroom, bathroom and seperate toilet. It’s in a quiet street, no noise from the restaurant in the hotel either. Our dog (Labrador) was welcome to stay as well for the small price of €10/night. No sounds of other dogs were noticable in our room. Breakfast was all local delicious products, fresh home made jams and waffles, meats and cheese, yoghurt, fruits,… The hosts were incredibly kind and do their absolute best to speak your language. We ate dinner 1 night in the restaurant which was incredible. The meatballs were as if grandma made it following a true Belgian recipe and the fish was the best I ever ate. A whole menu for a great price. The hotel is 40mins away from Dinant, 25mins from Durbuy and the caves of Han, and an hour from Ninglinspo by car. All must do’s.

Tom and staff are excellent, professional, helpful, friendly.. Breakfast was local food and very tasty. They made us anvery good espresso which was so appreciated. No crap coffee here. Comfortable mattress and beautiful space in room with a lot of light. Nicely furnished.

Hotel very good. Brand new. Large room. Pod coffee machine and teas in room. Good shower. Bath robes. Attention to detail first class. Thick towels with lovely scent. The hotel restaurant opened at 7.00 and we wanted to eat earlier so we took a short walk into town. Many restaurants there to choose from. We returned around 8.30 and the hotel restaurant was quite full but it was a Friday night, so suggest booking in advance. Breakfast. All products sourced locally. Ham, cheeses, jams yoghurt etc. Sausages and meats from local charcuterie. Attention to detail second to non. Excellent! Very good selection of gluten free bread and rolls. Tom is the perfect host!

What is there not to like about a hotel that is in excellent condition. The room nice, spacious and clean. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I am not looking for over the top things and especially where it concerns breakfast when there is just too much and food gets wasted. No, it was enough, fresh, local where possible and ready when we were ready. For me this hotel was perfect and for sure we will return!

Our final stop on a marvellous hike along the Ourthe. The hotel has a patisserie and bakery. Nice clean and cosy rooms with a large (!) television screen. We stayed on the top floor. Had a breakfast in the morning in the bakery. Homemade jam is recommended. A cup of coffee. And a goodbye. If you need some rest in Hotton. This is where you can stay.

We loved this hotel! The electronic side to the checking in and even electronic keys was fun and really useful (you can arrive whenever you like). Someone is always on site if you have a problem or questions. I was told that they will soon be installing a key card dispenser for those who don’t enjoy the electronic key aspect. The room was super clean and the finish to the renovations were amazing (rebuilt in 1616 after the great fire). Breakfast was delicious. All local products, wide selection of goods, champagne and bacon and eggs are offered too. Service always with a smile and the lady was so helpful with advice on restaurants, visits, history of the hotel. The contrast between the high-tech sleeping area and the friendly welcome one the beautiful historical breakfast room is a great success. Well done! We loved this and will be back soon!

Amazing place, with amazing owners. Perfect for a relaxing stay away from hustle and bustle, yet still close enough to villages with restaurants and shops (a few in walking distance, most about 10 minutes drive, such as La Roche). The owners do only speak French, but that only added to the charm. They were incredibly nice and helpful. The garden offers a perfect spot for watching (shooting) stars.

The property is very charming and in an excellent location. The man who runs it is extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating and really made our visit excellent. It's a third generation-owned property. The family takes pride in their business and is attentive to their guests and their experiences. The rooms were comfortable and clean and offered a stocked mini-fridge. The grounds are beautiful and right along a quiet river with well-maintained paths for hiking and cycling. You can drive into La Roche or take a beautiful path through the countryside. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant was local, seasonal, and delicious.

We absolutely loved the location, the view of the river and the hill behind it. The room was most comfortable and the balcony was a definite plus! The staff was most helpful and the breakfast was varied and tasty !

Dressing robes were in the room, as well as slippers, which was handy for the pool. We chose to stay for dinner one of our evenings because we knew we'd be tired after a long hike. Food was tasty (my lamb was perfect and my dessert - crème brûlée - was perfect as well). They ask you to choose your dishes before 17h since it's all freshly made. I think that's a great idea. On top of that the people at reception and also waiters could switch effortlessly between languages: French, Dutch, English, all spoken fluently. We had an excellent stay.

Position of the hotel, easily accessible to closest bike trails. Nice hotel recently opened after renovation, although some things are old (such as glass in the bathroom separating the bathtub,..and some other details ). We encountered a pretty strange situation when we checked in in the morning they gave us a room in a corner closest to the street. When we arrived back from the bike tour in the evening, there was a loud wedding party across the road in the small garden, it was super loud so we went to complain to the owner. Fortunately, they changed our room to the opposite side where the noise was not so loud anymore and also party was shut down by midnight, but nevertheless, they could inform us right in the morning as this procedure took a while to set. We were lucky that that night only a few guests were checked in so more rooms were available. Other than that, the rooms were very nice, with comfortable beds, good WiFi connection, and there was a fan in every room I saw. Nice breakfast, I missed boiled, or scrambled eggs, it was all a rather cold breakfast plus some baked puff pastry, overall pretty tasty. The owner let us also use the garage for our bikes and wash our bikes with a garden hose. to wrap up a very nice hotel but it is a pity that strange arrangments around this wedding occasion happened, but we appreciate the owner's approach/ suggestion to solve this situation.

Set in a rural hamlet,, next to a church and close to a farm, this tranquil B&B was a relaxing place to stay. After receiving a warm welcome from our hosts, who were very patient with our poor command of French language, it was lovely to sit on the terrace with a beer, enjoying the view over the countryside. Prior to our arrival, we had arranged to take dinner and enjoyed a lovely meal, provided by Therese, which included local crayfish in our starter a meltingly tender, pork cheek main, followed by individual chocolate puddings - delicious! Very reasonably priced too. In the morning, a good buffet breakfast awaited, with the log burner in the dining room giving a cosy focus. Additionally, a small kettle and hot drink making supplies in the room was a useful addition and parking, including EV charging, was also available.

We spent three wonderful nights at Chanteloup. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming - even though they speak only French, they made communication easy and we had no issues at all. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast offered a tasty and varied selection each morning. Although we spent much of our time exploring the nearby cities, we made sure to relax and enjoy the lovely terrace as well. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would happily return if we’re ever in the area again!

The facilities are beautiful, the room very comfortable and spacious, the staff very friendly and helpful. Very delicious food and very nice restaurant. It is also very well located. My family loved it.

Secluded hotel with lovely views of the rolling hills. It is easy to find with plenty of free car parking. The staff are excellent and speak reasonable English. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The restaurant serves excellent food at a good price and offers plenty of choice. As an added bonus there are friendly goats, cows and horses neighbouring the hotel.

Wonderful location from Calais to the Black Forest (4hrs ish). The Property is surrounded by stunning countryside. The room was comfortable abs quiet. The staff were lovely, helpful and the food was exquisite. One of the best dinners I have had - really. Could not fault one thing. Thank you. Hope I pass by again. Do you have my Harley baseball cap?!

Incredibly relaxing location with a wonderful couple who own/operate everything. The views are so relaxing and the food was incredible.

The view and the accommodation were amazing! Dinner was very good and our dog had plenty of space to run around in the garden.

We booked all three rooms for our family of 6. And this was perfect for us. What a great B&B to stay. We actually stayed too short, what a beautiful living room and garden we didn't use. At home we're spoiled with airco, here is no airco available, but the temperature was high and a ven was ready in our rooms! Philippe (the owner) was very flexible on our early arrival for a wedding.

Such a lovely place, in a beautiful region of Belgium. We stayed over but for a night, but we are keen to go back! The region is very peaceful, green and picturesque. Les Lits de Nohaipré boasts super comfy rooms, a great assortment of beverages, and a friendly welcome by the host; breakfast was lovely! The place is very well-located, and well connected to the villages in the region, as well. We had dinner on one of the recommended restaurants, and it was well worth it!

Our stay at B&B La Niouche was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the sweetest hostess, Noisette, whose kindness, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel instantly at home. The B&B is tucked away in the most beautiful, serene location—completely surrounded by rolling meadows, farmland, and nature. There are no other houses or buildings nearby, which gave us a rare sense of peace and seclusion that’s hard to find these days. If you're looking for a quiet retreat to disconnect and recharge, this place is perfect.

We booked at the last minute and we were completely satisfied. this beautiful house, 5 minutes from the center of la-roche is surrounded by fields and woods, the view from the room is priceless. the lady is very kind and the breakfast is plentiful.

The hotel has 3 floors and everything has this cozy feel. Although it is small it feels comfortable. The decoration is with a lot of wood so its a little destinctive. The wooden stairs, the floors and walls it all feels like a big and cozy athic! So are the rooms, bed and sanitar. Be aware that some rooms dont have a toilet and shower, please check your booking info for that. We had a basic room with a toilet acros our room and shower upstairs but it wasnt a problem! It might be experienced as somehow dated but eveything is taken care of , clean and works fine! The host / owner is very thoughtfull, representive and nice. So is the breakfast in the morning! it got all you need to start the day for hiking, walking or city viewing! we realy enjoined our stay! I would not recommadate this hotel for families with children beneath the age of 8 because it is to small and misses the luxury, but overall this is the perfect place to be to experience warm hospitality and the beautiful La Roche!

The hotel was situated in a great place, close to the center of the town, and a solid place for hiking. The breakfast provided was phenomenal, the owner was friendly and the hotel had a cosy vibe. The room we stayed in had a nice log cabin style decoration to it, and it was mostly comfortable and cozy.

A delightful stay in a lovely, old worldly hotel, felt like we had gone back 50 years, don't expect modern furnishings which would spoil the ambience. The dated room and ensuite worked well for us for our 3 night stay. We were very pleasantly surprised with the delicious breakfast array. If wifi is essential to you, be aware the free wifi is rather patchy. It is an easy stroll to the local eateries and castle. Off street parking was a bonus.

The place was cozy, comfortable and the host is very friendly and helpful. The place is just outside the center, which is easy to reach. The room was pleasant and clean, with a very good bed.

Lovely hotel right by the center of town! Room was a bit dark and everything was a bit dated, but it fitted really nice with the location and felt old-fashioned in a cozy way. Our toilet was not in the room but on the hallway, but clean and it was never a problem. The staff was absolutely lovely and gave us a warm greeting whenever we walked by! Really nice and cozy breakfast as well, with continental options on the table.

A lovely spot, the tent was nicely done, spacious, and the bed was comfy. The heater was much needed after a wet day on a motorbike!! The restaurant/bar was a very peaceful spot to while away the hours and the food was delicious.

Where do I start? It has its own car park. The suite was huge. The indoor pool was great - a little cool, but having one glass wall with the evening sun streaming in, what's not to like! The food was wonderful - we've never had lamb so tender and the whole meal presentation was amazing. Breakfast in the conservatory was lovely.

A super location in the center of Houffalize. The rooms are located above a sandwich bar and the building was recently fully renovated with high quality material. Laura, the owner of the place was very friendly and helpful. It was for me, a perfect location to stop during my weeks of walking the Eislek Trail.

Hotel review - This was our first night's stay after arriving from the US for leisure travel. Great communication from the caretaker thru booking.com. Location is central in a quaint, small town near Bastogne busy with hikers and bicyclers. We were looking for a one night's stay that included breakfast. Even though it was self check in Laura, the caretaker, provided great instruction and timely answers to our questions via text. There was a fully stocked fridge of various beverages. The room had a fan and with windows opened cooled off nicely. The two best parts of our stay were the shower which was refreshing w/ great water pressure and the breakfast Laura prepared. She casually offered my son and I a hot chocolate which was unbelievably decadent and quickly surmised to be the best hot chocolate we've ever had in our lives. Fresh bread, croissants and cheeses were also appreciated. Strongly recommend this place if you're visiting the Bastogne area.

The hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The room was well equipped, and I was surprised by the spacious bathroom. You can easily plan to stay there for more than one night. The fridge on the floor with cold beer is a great idea :) There are other drinks too, of course, but I preferred beer :) The service is great, very friendly and helpful. I particularly recommend this place to cyclists and motorcyclists because the hotel has a garage where you can safely store your vehicle. There are several restaurants in the area, and by “area” I mean you have to cross the street :D Great place, I recommend it to everyone.

The cabin was very comfortable with a good bed. Amazing that so much 'functionality' was available (relax shower, fridge, microwave etc.. Also the tea/coffee etc made us feel welcome. Sleeping close to the pony's and donkeys was fun. The host made it an extra effort to talk slowly in French and switch to dutch: we had fun communicating with her!

Very cosy stay, with super friendly hosts! And a very delicious breakfast!

It a cute B&B with a very nice host. The room has it all for a one night stay and its in the middle of nowhere, so you feel you are in a retreat a bit on a farm. Its also very clean and pet friendly. Breakfast is high quality and great.

The accommodation is nice, cosy and clean. The staff is very friendly and flexible. I had everything I needed for a short overnight stay.

It was very cozy, they had a small farm with very cute animals (Mule, horse, doggo) and the owners were very kind, sympathetic and attentive.

I'm the type to choose a well-known hotel, and be in the center of the city, whereas my partner prefers more quiet locations, so this was me compromising. I am SO VERY GLAD I did. This property is only a 10-minute drive to Bastogne, and the improvement in views, comfort, and coziness cannot be overstated. There is ample parking, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was amazing. 🚿 There are lots of areas to hike, and the landscape is nothing short of spectacular, even in the rain. I had no cellphone signal there, but the wifi was excellent and the host helped us make decisions about where to go for dinner in the local area. The breakfast choices were fabulous (try the Ardennes Sausage), the rolls were delicious, the orange juice fresh. It was delivered to our door at the time we requested, we didn't even have to get out of our pajamas! If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place that is stress-free, relaxing, and cozy, I would highly recommend Les chambres de la fontaine de brul. We will definitely be coming back!

It's about a 10 minute drive from Bastogne, but very quiet and remote, we woke up with the cows just beside us. We booked the room just wanting a bed and not much else so we didn't want to spend crazy money on a room we'd spend very little time in, so we didn't expect too much, but it was actually fantastic, a comfy bed and spacious room, a nice bathroom/shower, all super clean. The breakfast was very nice too with fresh breads and pastries (croissant, pain au chocolat, ...), fresh orange juice and coffee machine in the room. Value for money wise, I couldn't have found a better spot. I was here with my wife for a little tour around the country, but I am already planning a cycling getaway with this as my home-base.

Fast efficient check-in from a friendly host. Peaceful and quiet location. Clean, comfortable room that was great for our family (two adults, two children) with lots of space. Excellent shower in the large bathroom. Enjoyed the breakfast concept. Order the night before and it’s delivered in a basket to your door the next morning so you can enjoy it at your leisure in your room. Google maps got us there just fine. The last little bit is a turning off the road onto a short gravel track. Ample parking.

Met on arrival and shown a very large room and a fantastic large shower and toilet room. The shower is best we have ever had. Breakfast was ordered the night before and delivered to our room at the time requested . The presentation of breakfast in a woven bag was great. The owners have put a lot of thought into the renovated building and have not scimmed on anything. It was perfect for our one night stay, but it would suit for longer. Even had coffee and tea machines in room.

What an excellent place to stay to get away from it all. Perfect location so peaceful. The rooms were very well equipped and comfortable there were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very big with an excellent shower. Breakfast was delivered to our room and it was very good. We loved everything and it was such good value for money. Thank you

The apartment is fabulous. Modern and clean, with all of the facilities you would need. Kitchen equipment is of high quality and rooms are a good size. There is only one parking space, but this was fine for two motorcycles. Easy walk into town centre, Spa supermarket, many bars and restaurants. Pity we were only staying one night on our tour

Very spacious and new appartement. Everything you would need or could think of was there (bedlinen, towels, shampoo, coffee, tea, hairdryer, even netflix..)We really appreciated the nice welcome gifts, very nice touch. You really get a lot for a very small price in our opinion. Will definetly book again in the future. To finish, great location with parking spot included.

Nice and clean appartment, bed and chair for the baby. A lot of space and a lot of kitchen utensils. Warm welcome with chocolates and wine. Keys were easy to find, elevator in the building was also very useful. Fully equipped kitchen - dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine. Everything we needed and more.

Fantastic apartment - very well equipped and decorated. Host left a bottle of wine and chocolate - many thanks. Central location but in a quiet street. Exceeded our expectations based on the price.

Absolutely perfect on all fronts. The greeting by the owner, Isabel, her attentiveness to our needs, the quality of the room (large room with a king-sized bed, cleanliness, comfort, quietitude) and a most fabulous breakfast spread complete with delicious breads of many kinds, homemade juices and jams. I will recommend this place to friends, especially those visiting the Michelin star restaurant down the road. Hands down, the best price-to-performance ratio I have ever experienced. We had a wonderful time in Wéris. The location is stunning and our host couldn't have been more helpful. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower room huge! Breakfast was fantastic, a huge selection of breaks, cereals, eggs, fresh cookies... We can't recommend it highly enough.

A lovely peaceful location and a very friendly welcome awaited us. Our room on the first floor was very comfortable, with a nice big bed and modern bathroom. We requested dinner, which was served on the terrace with other guests. We had 3 courses, very fresh and delicious. Our hosts were delightful and nothing was too much trouble, even our dog chasing the cats around the garden!

Really cozy and beautiful hotel, a mix from the past but with modern touch. Perfect for families. Very nice with a indoor pool and a room full of toys. Great dinner that gave the felt like that you were visiting some friends, not a restaurant.

Rooms very spacious and comfortable, lovely decoration. Breakfast tasty and varied. Swimmingpool a hit with the children, also the playground. Excellent evening meal for a reasonable price.

- Tasty, freshly prepared breakfast including home-made yoghurt. - Bright and well-organised super cosy room. - A lot of room to enjoy a rainy afternoon playing games - Possibility to use a kitchen yourself - Wonderful garden and access to walking paths. - There were a lot of families with kids there, but because of the way the house is build, it doesn't impact those who wish a quiet stay at all. Forthcoming and uncomplicated hosts with open communication about anything you may need to make your stay comfortable.

Within what is offered : a self made hotel style bed and breakfast in the Ardennes countryside the Maison Jules could hardly be better. It is a work in progress and people who complain about a wire sticking out of a wall or a messy garden should be forbidden of ever staying in the country side anywhere ontbos planet and stay at the Waldorf Astoria only or in any clinical suburb formula hotel if the Astoria is above budget. The beds were better than expected although perhaps slightly hard. The decoration is very tasteful mixing modern design with brocante elements. Breakfast was bake off but from a real baker and was part tailored and if you want more ….just ask. We wish the host every succes in finishing the rest.

This has been the most amazing place I have even been to!! My room had the best view! What made it even more beautiful is the Host! She is so warm and welcoming. The place is not well connected to public transport but the host was extremely helpful, polite and kind to pick me up from the train station and dropped me to the place I wanted to visit. I absolutely love how well she has kept the place. It is very calm and warm. The breakfast was sumptuous and she offered to pack some for me! I would definitely come back there and I absolutely loved the people and the place. 100%recommend!!
