Excellent customer service during our stay. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious. The location was an easy walk to the Main Street and Pier. The pool /jacuzzi area was smaller but still clean and very inviting. I would 100% stay here again!

We were so impressed by this hotel. It was immaculately clean, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, plenty of free parking, a small pool and jacuzzi in an inner courtyard area, there was a wide range of options for the complimentary breakfast and thoughtful little extras like free tea and coffee all day and complimentary cookies in the afternoon. It was within easy walking distance of the beach/pier and a lovely little Main Street with various shops, restaurants and bars as well as a large supermarket and pharmacy.

The location is great! Just a short walk to the pier and shops. The room was bigger than expected but very cosy. There is also a shuttle to the LGB airport which is a plus. The pool and Jacuzzi were clean and nice. The breakfast was better than a simple Continental breakfast. They had a waffle maker for waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries, toast, bagels, everything you would need for breakfast. The staff there was amazing. They let us check in a little early which was really nice. They also held our bags so that we could walk about and explore before check in.

We love staying at the Pacific Inn. We have stayed for two weeks (almost) every summer for the past 14 years. We like the boutique feeling and great location. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is great. We enjoy having access to a pool and jacuzzi. Also, happy that laundry facilities have been added.

I’d like the fact that I had a pool in a Jacuzzi. The fact that the breakfast is included was very convenient for us.

The whole place smelled super clean and the pool/jacuzzi were very well kept.

Our stay was nice! The room is a decent size, the bed was comfortable. They do not clean the room everyday unless you ask as well as bring towels so keep that in mind. Breakfast was good and convenient nothing fancy but had what you needed! We used the gym which was clean and had enough cardio machines, weights and free weights for anyone working out for there stay. The jacuzzi looked inviting however I couldn't fit it in. The pool area was big with lounging chair ar but overall it was a good stay for our 3 nights.

Clean, staff was attentive and professional. Pool was warm. Jacuzzi was large enough for more than a few people. There were was a nice area for eating near the lobby. Family friendly. Good variety for breakfast. Also within walking distance to many dining options, Whole Foods and public transportation.

The staff, receptionists, maids and utility guy were very nice and helpful. We had 2 friends over and we ate in the lounge and they gave us plates, forks and napkins for food we had forgotten. The rooms are clean and we were greeted by a towel folded into an elephant and swan. No microwave in the room but the lounge has one, which really was good enough. The room was roomy with a large tv and frig. No view if that is important to you. No cafe but has a small snack "store" and has hot water for coffee and tea. No pool or jacuzzi but has a weight room. If u need a safe, relaxing place to stay in Torrance, this is the place.

This is my first time staying at the Bluestem Hotel in Torrance, CA. Today is Thursday, March 9, I checked in today and I am so impressed with this property and the location that I wanted to write a review now. Let's begin with the front desk point of contact, Frank. Frank is great, truly. He is a good man, and works for The Client, meaning everyone who checks-in. He was very helpful and courteous during check-in. The property is very organized and clean. The room is also organized and VERY CLEAN. I like everything about this room from the flooring to the wallpaper and conveniences that are included in the room to make you feel comfortable. The bathroom is also extremely clean and organized, the shower is large and clean if not spotless. The room is not huge, but just the right size for two or more people. There is ample parking, the parking lot is well lit and walking around inside the perimeter feels very safe. The parking lot is behind a beautiful wooden modern gate that can only be accessed after checking into the hotel. Also if you feel like you might want a snack, at the front desk there are items you can purchase to take back to your room or simply drink or eat on the open patio that guests use. We like this hotel so much that we decided to stay an extra night, and we will be back again. The Bluestem Hotel provides you with a modern boutique hotel experience that is comfortable and inviting.

Quiet, cozy boutique hotel! My brother and I recently stayed at this very nice property while going to medical appointments in Torrance. There is a lovely lobby and pretty courtyard with a water fountain to enjoy while relaxing in the sun. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable with beautifully updated bathrooms and luxurious beds. Plenty of private secured parking with easy access to rooms. The Front Desk Manager was so gracious and attentive, as well as the General Manager. We had a great dinner at The San Franciscan close by. We will return to the Bluestem for our next visit, and highly recommend to others. Also, an excellent value!

Such a convenient stay with the family. Our trip was extended a few times and we ended up staying for over 2 weeks with 2 kids in tow. The property is a renovated motel. The decor was modern and the renovation made it feel clean. The towel swan on the bed was a cute touch. Parking was super convenient, which is sometimes difficult to find in the South Bay. The property is gated with the need for key access to enter the parking lot so it felt secure. Staff was friendly. Lobby was convenient to work, eat, and meet. Computer and printer in the lobby for guests to use. Secure wi-fi. There are some dining options nearby, with one eatery walking distance, which added to the convenience. This is a great option for families and business travelers alike. Glad we chose to stay here over an Airbnb.

The room was very updated and clean, and it was well lit. The AC worked well. We had a mini-fridge (no freezer). There was only one chair in the room, and only two hangers. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of counter space. We did not like the sliding bathroom door. The hotel is on a busy street, but the room was not noisy. There is a nice courtyard with a seating area. The people working there were friendly and helpful. We had a good dinner within walking distance at the San Franciscan. The hotel does not offer breakfast, so we used the discount at a restaurant just down the street.

Downtown LA takes about 20 minutes if their is no traffic (good luck with that lol) the airport 13 minutes away shopping centers like target dollar general Ross etc all in the area. Also donut king which has the best donuts I’ve ever ate in my life!

Parking, check-in, roomy, comfortable. We flew into LA and drove here. Then we drove to Manhattan beach for dinner. To be clear we chose this place because it was well rated and more or less fit our budget (everything is expensive). We also wanted to be sure that it'd be comfortable. It was, 2 big beds. Breakfast was good too, and included, which is a significant savings. People working there were very friendly and professional.

New and modern hotel, very large and clean rooms, delicious breakfast and super friendly staff! We felt safe and welcome at all times. The free parking and 24 hour coffee & tea in the lobby were great as well. Although close to LAX, surprisingly didn’t hear any planes :)

Everything about this place was exceptional! This was our first stay here and for the low rate I was a little skeptical about what to expect. Upon arrival the facility was clean and modern and the staff was welcoming. The room was just as described and spacious, and the bed, the bed was so comfortable and I had my best sleep ever for traveling. Breakfast was top notch with a wide selection and everything was fresh and hot food was hot! This was a short few minute drive away from the beach and close to many food options within walking distance. I would highly recommend this place and consider staying again!

Breakfast was a highlight—it featured a variety of fresh options, from fluffy scrambled eggs and crispy bacon to a delightful array of pastries and fresh fruit. The make-your-own waffle station was a fun touch, and the locally brewed coffee was top-notch. The combination of great service, comfort, and a delicious breakfast made the stay great. Highly recommend!

The most comfortable bed and pillows I've experienced in a hotel! The suite was big, quiet, comfortable, well put together. Very clean too. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choices, fresh waffles, fresh fruits etc. The employees we interacted with were delightful. The little snacks were great too. Internet was fast and easy. Lots of restaurants in the area.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel looks recently renovated. Catchy breakfast sign in both the lobby and the breakfast room which is spacious and clean. Wide selection of items to choose from. Nicely cooked bacon, sausage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, waffles, oatmeal, a selection of breads and pastries, a soft serve yogurt machine with toppings, cartons of yogurt, fresh fruit. All were nicely presented, counters frequently toy wiped down. One of the nicest Best Western breakfasts we’ve had.

The staff and the facilities were exceptional. The manager is friendly and exceptionally helpful and accomodating. She creates a pleasant environment. The best value for quality of hotel we've ever stayed in. The breakfast options were tremendous. The hotel lobby was comfortable & relaxing. They have a starbuck espresso machine for guests :). The staff was beyond amazing and did everything in their power to make our stay an excellent experience. Norbert helped me in the days before we arrived with booking 8 rooms; Darnell welcomed us and checked us in, arranged our rooms to best suit our needs, gave us tips on getting the most from our surroundings, and gave us all very warm and personal attention. Richard the bartender catered to us with patience and humor, even though we were a group of 20 that came and went throughout the afternoon. The hospitality folks were all friendly and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable. The TV set was probably the best I've ever had in a hotel room. Huge and on a swivel that made viewing the screen great. The rooftop pool was fun, and the food and drinks were all yummy. The small first-floor cafe also delivered with amazing coffees and delicious food. I can highly recommend the avocado toast! As for the location, perfectly situated at the Long Beach Pike, with many attractions within walking distance, and lots of good restaurants. Just an overall wonderful time, and the perfect venue for our family celebration.

The Hyatt Centric the Pike put us right in the heart of Long Beach fun—steps from shopping, restaurants, and that awesome beach bike path that winds all the way to Belmont Shore (and beyond!). Our room was sleek, spotless, and oh-so-comfy—the kind of bed you melt into after a day of adventure. Breakfast from the café downstairs? Delicious. The Sunday morning pool session? Pure bliss—I had the whole thing to myself, swimming laps and soaking up the sun with a cappuccino in hand. Plus, having Gold’s Gym next door was a major win—we walked straight from the hotel to our workout. Scooters parked right outside made exploring effortless, and we zipped around like locals. All in all, this stay was a perfect mix of energy and relaxation. We can’t wait to come back! 🌴✨

This hotel is outstanding. My standard room was large, with a comfortable bed, lots of pillows, lots of drawers, iron and ironing board, classy-looking bathroom. Front desk was staffed late at night when I arrived. Everyone at the front desk was kind, taking all the time needed to help me find locations and transportation. And yet, there never was a line at the front desk. There are sitting areas in the lobby and in the hotel café, no rush, spend as long as you want to visit with friends and relatives, whether you are buying anything in the café or not. The café had bottled drinks and pastries, made breakfast and lunch to order, and became a bar in the evening. Again, just the nicest, most helpful staff. Helpful housekeeping staff showed me how to adjust the thermostat – not intuitive - posting instructions on the wall would be a big help. Bring a clothespin or large safety pin, because the drapes do not close all the way to block the lights at night. Installing a grab bar on the wall inside the shower and another for walking in and out of the shower would help guests avoid falling.

I arrived early to the hotel and was able to check in for a fee of $25. I requested a microwave and they said that it might be available… soon as I went up to the room. Somebody was there with it. Lorraine from the front desk was so wonderful. She was so nice accommodating, patient and friendly. The grounds are kept up. It was safe you have to have a key to swipe up to your room. The hotel was clean. My room was great. I love the TV I love the chrome cast I can watch my shows. The view was nice. I was right near the movie theaters and restaurants. There is a restaurant downstairs that has breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a pool but I did not see it. Uber was available and I took the train from LA to the hotel. It was an hour or so. Also, there is a boat to take you to a dolphin Cruise across the street from the hotel.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise! It’s clean, quiet, and has a really charming nautical theme with beautiful deep blue tones throughout. The atmosphere feels relaxing and upscale without being stuffy. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the beds were super comfortable — I slept great every night. The location couldn’t be better — you can easily walk to shops, restaurants, the beach, and even the Queen Mary. Overall, a great stay and I’d absolutely come back again!

The hotel was exceptional. Very clean and modern. All staff i encountered were courteous and helpful. It was too cold for the pool but that area was nice, music was played, and they had a gas fire that came on every night. The room was larger than I expected, and was very comfortable. The shower was nice and big and water pressure was good. Beds were nice and soft and everything looked clean and washed. We were about 20 mins from USS Iowa and 15 from the aquarium.

Great place. From the time we got here, everyone was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The room was very clean, and nice. Comfy bed, nice large walk-in shower with rain head. Quiet. Beautiful grounds. We enjoyed sitting outside at night by the fire. This is definitely a place we'll keep on our list.

The whole hotel, inside and outside, is quite beautiful. The rooms are very nicely decorated, spacious, and clean. The pool was tranquil and inviting with a fire pit at night. All the employees were friendly and helpful. I felt very safe in the hotel itself but, I would not walk around the area at night alone although, I did go on a walk in the neighborhood South of the hotel in the daylight. There are restaurants, pharmacies, retail stores and a grocery store nearby. There is a nice bar with sandwiches, etc.

This hotel is a gem! The beds were comfortable and very clean. The pool area was beautiful and well kept. The area is ok. We are from a country town so we were a little uneasy with the area. While we were in the hotel we felt safe but we didn't want to leave the hotel for food, we just did Uber food and had them bring us food. We ate at the hotel café for dinner and breakfast and everything we got was delicious! We chose to stay at this hotel again when we get off our cruise because we loved it so much!

The location is really nice, it’s sits right around the corner from the freeway. It’s quiet and there is stores and food places very close by, the breakfast is really good especially the omelet’s with the salsa. The rooms smell good and it’s very clean even the carpet and the water gets really hot. the dining area for breakfast is so clean and beautiful as well and the variety of food selections is so nice and convenient and well organized, the beds are very comfortable with soft clean sheets and soft pillows along with great hair shampoo and body wash.

What a lovely overnight stay! Check in was seamless and quick. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. Nice layout and clean. Bed and linens were clean and very comfortable. Overall, Residence inn provides a comfortable, relaxing and pleasant stay whether it is overnight or longer. I highly recommend.

I've lived in Long Beach for many years, so whenever I'm in town and don't want to stay with family, I try to be nearby but have my own private space. This hotel does the job in so many ways. 1st, the parking. Parking is a breeze, there's lots of stalls, and it's easy in and out to the hotel lobby. Then the location, there's tons to do once you step out of the hotel . There are a bunch of walkable bars and restaurants, but I'm a lazy person, so I Uber Eats whenever possible to some of my favorite Long Beach haunts a few miles north from downtown. Finally, the room. The room is good, comfortable, clean, and quiet. Clean, quiet and safe are my basic room needs, so it's a perfect place. Depending on when you book and on what's going on in Long Beach, this hotel can get pretty pricey, so plan accordingly. The lobby is cute, and sometimes you get free local paper to read. There's also a snack bar for access to some late night grub. Solid choice.

We enjoyed our stay very much! We were given a higher level room with an awesome view of Downtown Long Beach facing east. The location was perfect in relation to an event we were attending just a 10-minute walk away. Plenty of dining options are super close and I do recommend the hotel restaurant (great food and service). Our room was really clean; we could tell it was recently renovated. A/C and shower were of great quality, and the toilet was modern and eco-friendly. Beds were comfy.

Jocelyn was the smiling face when I walked in the lobby. She was helpful, professional and very welcoming. This is my first time at this hotel. Great lobby to meet and greet friends. Their restaurant opens at 5pm. Coffee in the lobby at 6am. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was wonderful.

Very comfortable extended stay. Was there for 6 nights for a convention and was an easy walk to the convention center. Staff was very helpful..room was clean and beds were comfortable. Easy walk to restaurant options such as 555 steakhouse and the Pike Street restaurants. Little bit of a hike to the waterfront restaurants but doable walk or a cheap taxi/Uber. Taff was pleasant and very easy check in and check out.

Hotel was very clean and I felt very safe there. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Every aspect of the hotel (breakfast, laundry, swimming pool) was clean and I would absolutely stay there again! The staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we had trouble with the internet but other than that no issues whatsoever.

Rooms seemed to be renovated with new carpet, rooms are spacious, clean and beds are very comfortable. The staff is welcoming and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay—especially the hot spa, which, together with the pool, was perfect for the weather during our visit. I had a great stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and to my liking. The location was great—right off the highway. The area has many convenience stores, such as Target and Walgreens. The front desk clerks were friendly and provided excellent service during my check-in and check-out. However, the warm complimentary breakfast was not too much to my liking, as it was minimal, especially for those who do not eat bacon. The warm breakfast changes daily, but that day, there were scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Also, a machine made pancakes, which I thought was pretty cool. Lastly, the fruit was limited. There were only apples and no oranges or bananas.

Conveniently located by the freeway and amenities. We stayed the night due to bad weather, and the staff allowed us to check in a few hours early to get out of the rain. Our 2 queen bed room was spacious, beds were comfortable, room was clean. This BW serves breakfast, so convenient we didnt have to go anywhere. Highly recommend!

I stayed with my family for 3 nights in a twin room. Location was very reasonable for us to visit Disneyland 15 minutes drive. Check Fill-A is 2 minutes walking and In-N-Out Burger is 5 minutes away on foot. Staff were nice. The room was nice and spacious. A window with a view on the road. Cleanliness of the room and shower was not the best thing. Large bed size and beds were really comfy. Available free parking. Breakfast restaurant was very nice whether the buffet or the set-menu.

Truly beautiful hotel the staff are so helpful so attentive. We stayed to celebrate my sons birthday from England and were helped by a lady called Miriam who is an absolute asset to the company. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were all truly amazing and made my stay very enjoyable. I can not praise this hotel enough if you are ever coming to stay in LA. Stay here! You will not be disappointed at all.

An overnight stay so we didn’t have to drive back home after a day at the theme park! Nice spacious hotel! Great shower and water pressure. Did not get the pleasure of checking out the pool or the restaurant but we did stop by the coffee house on our way out and it was delicious.

This was a great place to stay before my cruise. I decided to stay here because they have an airport shuttle and the ability to ship things to the hotel and receive them without a fee. The shuttle drivers were great and helpful I had to go back and forth to the airport a few times due to my airline sending my luggage to another place. I was not at the location long only for the night. I did try the breakfast in the morning, I would skip that it was the only disappointment just not very good. Other than that the room was clean and well kept up all amenities I needed provided and the staff were welcoming and friendly. This is a great pic for a hotel in Long Beach don't take my word for it , book it and see for your self. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was beautifully decorated, clean, quiet and comfortable. The pool area is so beautiful with lit palm trees and a gorgeous fire pit. The breakfast is quite pricey at over $30. But there is a starbucks in the lobby where you can get some smaller items to eat (first come first serve). There is a M club lounge with delicious food if you are a higher status member. There is a mexican restaurant down in the lobby with good reviews but we didn't eat there. The location was extremely convenient right off the 405 and next to the airport. FREE PARKING was a huge plus. Thanks for a great stay!

My son and I stayed here recently while in town for an anniversary party. The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable that I even asked the front desk where they purchased their bedding from. The sink and toilet/ shower area were separated by a door which was awesome so both of us could get ready at the same time. There was a coffee maker in the room with liquid half and half containers instead of just the packets of non dairy creamer. All the staff we met from housekeeping, to restaurant workers, to front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was top notch and the free parking sent it over the top!

Our family lives in Long Beach & we visit them, frequently staying at the LGB Marriott. It's close to LGB & the hotel has a free airport shuttle. If you choose to drive, the parking is free. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, professional & show their hospitality by how accommodating they are to our needs & requests. The rooms are modern, clean & comfortable. There is an indoor/outdoor pool plus a gym. We always look forward to our visits there.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Doubletree Los Angeles Norwalk! The location is ideal for tourists visiting Anaheim and Los Angeles/Hollywood because it sits right on I-5. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by front desk staff and quickly got set up with keys and the breakfast vouchers we added. We enjoyed our warm cookies too! Our room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom and wonderful shower (sometimes hard to find in hotels). Beds were super comfortable! We loved the Crabtree & Evelyn products and appreciated that they’ve moved away from the individual toiletries. (I volunteer at an organization who recycles those containers, and it’s crazy to see how much waste is created.) Breakfast was delicious each morning. We had a buffet on some mornings, but I believe they are moving away from the buffet. The service on our table-service breakfast was slow, but that was due to a lack of staff, which sadly is all over these days. I need to remember that even though we’re not wearing masks anymore, the hospitality industry was obliterated by the pandemic, and it will take time to get things back to normal (and the sky-high demand for travel is making things more challenging). Every staff member we encountered was working hard and was super kind and accommodating. We travel often to the LA area, and when we left the hotel on our last day, our kids said, “We should stay here again next year!” Teenager approved:)

This is such a beautifully aesthetic hotel, from entering the lobby area, strolling around it's elegant in-house restaurant, passing welcoming lounge areas to it's spacious modern and extremely comfortable room. We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room and it was quite sufficient. I have to mentioned the front desk staff, for which we encountered several, each one as polite, pleasant and attentive as the other. All workers, house keeping, janitors etc didn't hesitate to say, hello. I gather this hotel prides themselves in making all it's guests feel quite welcomed. Oh and the warm choc chip cookies on arrival and departure were delicious. Already planning my next stay.

Our room was clean and quiet! I recommend staying on the non highway side. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating. The beds was comfy but pillows not so much. Spacious bathroom. Free parking is a plus. Yummy cookies. All in all a good stay.

I have stayed here a few times. It’s really clean nice very safe great hotel in that area. Staff is super friendly great restaurant and bar and I love the cookies.

I enjoyed the spacious room, the jacuzzi bath, the easy check in/out. The staff is polite and kind and attended to a daytime need very quickly. Getting to the two events I was there for, one in Huntington Beach, one in Seal Beach, was very easy. Parking was adequate.

Aside from being on a busy street, this hotel was great. We went on a little "Staycation" getaway and loved our room. It included a jacuzzi tub which I highly recommend! Local to grocery stores and fast good, and minutes from Huntington Beach mall and restaurants. A great place to stay!

Spent 4 nights here and there are some definite pros and cons worth sharing. Pros: Rooms are spacious and clean, large pretty lobby and front desk staff extremely nice. Free breakfast was a huge plus and was very satisfactory in terms of continental. Outdoor fireplace, pool and hot tub were fantastic! Location to downtown, Queen Mary and the ferry to Catalina are very walkable, plus there are electric scooters everywhere to rent. We also walked next door to the Maya hotel where they have an amazing Mexican restaurant with spectacular views. Cons: Air conditioning in room was crazy loud. Very expensive $38 daily parking fee for unsecured lot and we saw numerous homeless people in the area. We never had housekeeping come to our room in 4 days. The biggest complaint we have is the rule around the outdoor space at night. It states on the door that the pool closes at 10pm, which is completely fair - however, we were not even allowed to sit outside by the firepit either (which is separate from the pool) - we were told by staff to come inside and the doors were barricaded by highchairs so that we couldn't go back outside. We felt like we were treated like children when we are 50 year old adults. It was a weekend night and we were basically told we had to go to our room or sit in the lobby. The outdoor area is one of the reasons why we choose this hotel for the beautiful views and wish we could have enjoyed it longer in the evening.

This is a very nice Residence Inn. I think what sets it apart is the very friendly staff and extremely (and most unusually) comfortable bed. I mean seriously comfortable! Some of the furniture could do with being cleaned or upgraded due to a few stains and parking at $38 a day is daylight robbery. But they do provide a pretty extensive breakfast and despite a few stains on the sofa, everything was very clean. Housekeeping staff were lovely- super friendly and cheerful. You can walk along the water or go and check out the Queen Mary. You can also walk over the bridge into downtown. Very convenient location. Nice stay. Would stay again for sure.

The hotel has a great view of the river and Long Beach. Rooms are large and I have to say the bathroom was exceptionally large. Service was great. Jocelyn checked me in quickly and gave me good tourist advice. Check out was equally smooth. In terms of food, in a one mile walk along the river, you have a choice of three different places to eat. None were fast food and you probably need to go across the bridge to Long Beach for that. Only downside is there is some noise during the day because the hotel is next to a jet ski and boat rental place. No noise at night. Definitely a beautiful place I would go back to for a getaway weekend.

I recently stayed at the Sonesta and had a wonderful experience. From check-in to check-out, the service was friendly and efficient. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-appointed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere which allowed for a restful sleep.

I love this place its my getaway when I’m in town real quiet peaceful relaxing I feel safe while there free easy parking! Close to restaurants easy access to freeways! It was next to the interstate and on a busy road so there was a fair amount of traffic noise. However, it was very close to everything we wanted to do. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a little skimpy. There was yogurt, cereal,fruit cups, and parfaits. There was no hot food without purchase. The coffee was tasty.There was food that could be purchased. For fancier coffee, it could be purchased and was good. Overall a good experience.

Rooms are nice and clean, beds comfortable. Highest floor water pressure was more like a drip, but that might be the rainfall shower head. Pool is nice, no hot tub, but there is a fire pit which the staff helped us light. I had an early flight, and they had an option to skip the breakfast at a lower price. Very useful. I liked the layout of the room[2 bedroom suite-1 room had 2 twin beds w/bathroom in it, living room had a sofa bed and main room had a queen bed with bathroom in it], spacious enough and good privacy-we were given the option of a ground level room or one on the 3rd floor. The staff were kind and attentive in the main office, pool and the jacuzzi were nice sizes and not too deep[3.5-5.5 ft deep approx] which was enjoyable for the kids. The market had a good amount of drinks, snacks, personables, etc. Plenty of parking when we stayed [Saturday-Monday]. They are pet friendly just have to inform ahead of time (even though we didnt have any)

Pleasantly surprised! We booked this hotel after reserving at the Hollywood Inn Suites, but chickened out after reading horrendous reviews. I think motel style hotels hold a stigma, but this was actually really clean, quiet and cute! It felt like we really had our own space. The room came equipped with full kitchen facilities (fridge, freezer, microwave, cutlery, plates, coffee machine, filters) couch, 2 flat screen TV's, huge bed, vanity area, wardrobe, toilet & shower over bath. The room was recently renovated, and everything was new. Foye and dining area was beautifully decorated and had a boho feel. The location was nice for a motel style as it was in a more industrial area. There is quick bite eateries a short drive away - In and out, raising canes, Arbys, 7 eleven The minor inconveniences to me were they only served bacon once during my 4 night stay - I love bacon. However other items served included; Sausage, breakfast potatos, scrambled egg, fresh pancakes with assostment of toppings (jelly, syrup, sprinkles, strawberry sauce, chocolate chips, nuts etc) salsa, cheese, cereals, fruit juices, porridge, coffee, breads (loaf, bagel, muffins) toasting facilities & fruit Not a huge amount of space in the breakfast / dining area and the bathroom space is very small in comparison to the vanity area. Not a big deal, just possibly not ideal for low mobility folk. All that being said, we will certainly return when revisiting LA. Reasonable price for a 9/10 stay.

Other than a few things that need repair (HotTub jets didn’t work) it is a very nice and comfortable place to stay before a cruise. The breakfast which you can get included (at a small price compared to paying at the property) is the best we have ever had at a hotel. Well worth the upgrade price.

Crowne Plaza San Pedro is in a great location for pre-cruise stays, allowing easy access to your ship, restaurants and the harbor/waterfront promenade. The hotel lobby, restaurant and bar were more modern than I was expecting and were quite pleasant. The desk staff were friendly, helpful and I appreciated the ease and multiple departure times for the paid shuttle to the cruise ship. The onsite mini-market was handy too. I sat by the pool in the afternoon, which was peaceful and comfortable. My junior suite was a mix of modern-ish and old-school, and was positively huge. The views of the harbor, water and surrounding cityscape were wonderful. The only downsides to the suite was that to me, it smelled stale and the bathroom size wasn’t exactly “suite sized.” Nonetheless, for my one-night stay, it was more than sufficient. Happy hour was enjoyable, offering many reasonable selections. May I suggest though, for happy hour being so heavily advertised at the hotel, that a specific happy hour menu/flyer be available for the ease of the bartender and guests. The bartender (who was wonderful) was busy enough as it was by himself, so I felt bad when he had to quickly verbally repeat the happy hour specials to every guest that inquired. All in all, I had a pleasant stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again for cruise-related accommodations.

We stayed here to be close to our cruise the following day. It’s an easily walkable distance, but the hotel also offers a quick shuttle over in the morning for $5 a person if you prefer (or don’t want to deal with your luggage.) The afternoon we arrived, we also walked down to tour the USS Iowa — a decommissioned battleship — which was very cool. The hotel is located in Little Italy, so there were some nice restaurants a stone’s throw away, and it’s a cute area. Breakfast was the same pretty standard continental buffet that some hotels offer for free, so I thought it was kind of pricy at $25/person, even if it was all-you-can-eat. The hotel staff gave me two free breakfast cards which I appreciated, so my kids ate and I skipped. The room was clean, quiet, and safe, even if some of the furniture was a bit aged and worn. Beds were comfortable, and we all got a good night’s sleep.

The Homewood Suites is one of my favorite hotels. I live in the local area and have stayed here several times. However, when I need to just get away to relax, peace, and quiet I stay here. The hotel and the entire property is always very clean. I love the pool, barbeque pits, and games you can play near poolside. One great thing is the large jacuzzi- strong jets, very hot, and spacious . Whether you stay on the Hampton Inn side or Homewood Suites (I have stayed at both), you can't go wrong. Directly across from hotel (walking distance) many choices for lunch or dinner plus shopping center also walking distance is Whole Foods, In n Out burgers, TJMAXX, Handels ice cream, etc. There are other hotel choices, but I always check first to see if this hotel is available. Breakfast - I love that breakfast is included with hotel stay. Overall, breakfast is always good. However, my only problem is I just wish they would change the main dish more often. Each time I have stayed, I am there for 3 to 5 days - it's the same pork and chicken carnitas i'll take care. I'll take care of it right now so you don't do later on in the refrigerator. Give him half another half. I'm here. I give him half a breakfast half a lunch (every morning). It would be nice if they serve turkey sausage , bacon, etc. sometimes. The kitchen staff very nice and helpful - just wish if one staying whole week - you could not have same item everyday.

The hotel is very clean! They were always cleaning the public areas which was great! We were supposed to have a handicap room. They did have a chair in the shower and 1 grab bar. The toilet was low and made it difficult for my husband to get up because he has had 7 back operations and a knee replacement. Also if someone was in a wheelchair there is no way they could have gotten by the bed to the bathroom because it was too close to the wall. He barely got by with his walker. The other thing regarding the shower is why are the shampoo, bath gel and conditioner on the back wall? If you are in a shower chair facing the nozzle how are you supposed to reach them when you are incapacitated in the first place? My only other complaint was that we were told that our breakfast area was in a private room down the hall. The hotel is one building with two hotels. A Hampton Inn on one side and Homewood suites to the right. The breakfast at the Homewood suites area had chicken and pork carnitas with tortillas every day and we were there for 10 days! No change. I finally asked on the 3rd day if it changed and was told you could go to the Hampton Inn side for bacon or sausage, etc.I think its odd that they serve Mexican food in that part of the hotel when there are clearly not just Hispanics staying there. On another note there are lots of restaurants across the street, WHOLE Foods and shops. Nice clean area. Felt safe.

We were upgraded from a Studio with 2 Queens to a 1 bedroom with 2 Queens, which was a pleasant surprise! Check in & check out was quick & friendly. The room was clean and spacious for our family of 5. The kitchen was small but mighty. The bathroom was very nice, the shower had hot water, absolutely no issues. It would have been nice to have a vent fan, but other than that no complaints. The beds were comfortable, the pillows a little too firm for my liking. We enjoyed our stay very much, especially the free hot breakfast in the morning! Next time we book, we hope to have extra time to utilize the swimming pool, hot tub, and fun play area.

Six people / two night stay. This location is convenient, nice and clean. There is food and shopping within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. There are four charging stations for ev/hybrid vehicles. The room was clean. All six of us were comfortable with plenty of places to sleep. I would stay here again when visiting Long Beach.

Great room, fully equipped for a short stay, quiet and clean. Friendly, responsive staff. Well located for our purposes. Airport shuttle was quick and helpful. Parking is extra. Breakfast was below par for "included breakfast" at other properties we have stayed at. Would not return, due to poor breakfast quality.

The front desk interaction was very professional and welcoming. When we walked into our room, our name was displayed on the TV with a welcome message, so already it felt personal and careful. It was very spacious for a hotel room since we had a kitchenette and a small living room area in front of the bed. It was a nice room layout with great modern furniture to fill the space. However, the shower had okay pressure and the head wasn't removable or easily adjustable. While the bathroom had great interior design, the shower head was a downside for me. Also, the walls are thin. The noises from the adjacent room were explicit in nature and could make one feel uncomfortable.

Good breakfast, good location, good service, free wifi, free coffee/tea/hot water in the lobby for 24 hours. The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. I love everything here in this hotel!

The stay was amazing. Super clean hotel, I loved that they have extra towels so I didn’t have to ask. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was ONLY because of the breakfast. There waffle sticks were cold and hard. Their juice was watered down and not that cold, and they didn’t have a great selection. I’ve stayed at smaller hotels with a better breakfast selection. Other than that their costumer service was TOP TIER! The staff was constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. They even offer a small goodie bag when you arrive which I have never gotten at any other hiltons. Great job staff. Also employee Sebastian at this location was amazing and attentive. Give that kid a raise or promotion!

I had an amazing experience. The property was so clean and beautiful. The room was amazing and super clean. Thank you Geovanny Tello for the amazing customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure my experience was one to remember. I definitely will be back.

The property is nice from the second you walk in and the amenities are great. We love the indoor pool and jacuzzi and we’re grateful for the pull out bed.

We had our baseball banquet at Embassy Suites Downey, and everything was perfect. The staff was kind, professional, and incredibly attentive. They truly cared about the details, from the room setup to making sure our guests felt welcomed and comfortable. The banquet space looked great, the food was delicious and served on time, and the whole event ran smoothly thanks to their team. We also stayed the night, and our hotel room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It made the whole day feel extra special. We’re so grateful for how they helped make this night memorable. I’d absolutely recommend this location for any special event. we’ll be back!

Booked a weekend stay for my youth basketball team, as we were attending a large youth tournament over President's Day weekend. Huge kudos go to Kim and Lorena in group sales who were quick to set up and secure our weblink, which made it extremely easy for families to book accordingly. The front desk staff were gracious and always providing exceptional customer service as did their hotel support staff. Very, very happy with their attention to serving our needs. The hotel is in a prominent location on Firestone Blvd - in walking distance to shops, restaurants, fast food. Down the road is Randy's donuts, Raising Cane's, In and Out, Target, Golf 'n Stuff, Shopping Mall.....just lots within a 3-miles radius (look it up). Room temperature is hotel controlled so don't expect to have detailed control over your heat & A/C - however, it is well within comfortability. You can always contact the front desk if you're concerned. Breakfast is included - omelette bar was great and the rest of the buffet items will serve your needs. Lots of places to sit too. Bar/Grill slightly pricey but the fish tacos were great with a good full service bar. (I'll pay the money for good food and drinkt.) Yes, this is a location that we would return to. Great for families and affordable. Love the customer-based experience!

Only thing that comes to mind is jacuzzi temperature was not even 98 degrees. Also this morning van shuttle to airport was 10 minutes late and parked in front out in rain instead of under entry roof cover! Why? 5:40 in morning. Lady opened back van doors and did not even help load luggage into van.

Overall I had a great experience at this hotel. Parking is $15 a night, street parking is permit only overnight. I always found parking out front, except for one night after midnight. There are tons of food options in the same parking lot or across the street. Any inconveniences were minor and based on my own preferences. Room: Bed was amazing! Every single light had its own switch which was odd. A/C worked great and fan was surprisingly quiet. Sofa was very hard and more of a chaise lounge. I never used the sofa sleeper part. Plenty of storage and counter/table space. TV pulled out and swiveled for viewing angles. Bathroom: No fan or window, and the A/C didn’t funnel in to the bathroom so it would get stuffy in there quick. Shower only, no tub. The toiletries are secured to the wall in the shower and are very thin/not concentrated so you have to use a lot of them. The shower head is stationary and very tall, so hard to manipulate. The water, even on the hottest setting was not hot enough for me, it’s probably a safety setting. Housekeeping: They let me know at check in it’s only every other day. I kept my do not disturb sign on day one, but saw them cleaning early in the morning. Day two I left at 9am and didn’t return until 4pm, when I returned they were still cleaning my room. Day 3 I had a paper shoved under my door before 8am to ask for housekeeping before 3pm if needed. So I would recommend requesting service to ensure your room gets clean while you are gone.

It was wonderful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. My room was spacious and clean. I had a great sleep in the comfy bed! The hotel smelled nice and had beautiful decorations in the lobby. I was only there for a short trip, but it was very convenient and close to the beach. I liked that the hotel was renovated within the last three years and did not have carpet in the rooms.

Renovated and very comfortable. Stayed in the one bedroom suite and it was very spacious and the view was good. The lounge serves good breakfast and the hotel also had a laundry that we could operate, which is helpful when you travelling for a few weeks. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was great and the location right next to the mall is excellent.

A comfortable and well-located hotel in central Torrance, California - the hotel is just across Del Amo Fashion Center I would like to sincerely thank Emely who was so professional, provided a very warm welcome and efficient check-in. She gave me a complimentary self-parking and 12:00 check out which I truly appreciate. There was one employee who assisted me and went personally to the parking area to show us how to access the card. This is what hospitality is all about, simple gesture makes a big difference. (I didnt get his name but he was at the bell desk or vallet- not sure) We had our breakfast at the buffet restaurant, good food, good service. Thank you to you all. I will definitely return, amazing stay.

We arrived to a clean, fresh lobby and friendly staff. Our room was located next to family. Breakfast area was clean and hot/cold,many choices. Loved that the manager set us up with a van tour. Eleven hours we returned. Thank you sir. Coming from the midwest we felt safe. The bed was comfortable. If we go back to LA, we would stay there again.

The staff was beyond helpful and went above to make sure I was comfortable. I am in a wheelchair and requested a shower chair. The staff said that their shower chair was already in use, but they would try to find me another one. Several hours went by, so we decided to go find something to eat, and we saw staff putting together a new shower chair. They had aparrently gone out and bought another for me to use.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was friendly, and our room was clean and inviting. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant and the waiter was so attentive and friendly! We took a walk around the marina and enjoyed that too. We also walked to the nearby church for Sunday mass feeling safe in the surrounding community.

Front Desk staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Facility was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was EXCELLENT. Generous portions, nice presentation and tasted great. The American Breakfast was well worth the $18 price. Shuttle driver was very nice and we had pleasant conversation on our way to the port.

Hilton San Pedro was the perfect location to stay at the night before our cruise. The hotel has a free shuttle that will take you to the port (you need to reserve your spots in advance). As for the hotel itself, our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the yachts. The restaurant staff were friendly and given there is not much nearby otherwise in terms of restaurants or stores, we enjoyed the selection e.g., fish tacos, fried cauliflower, etc.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, the breakfast was good and it was quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would add is that I wish that they had yogurt for breakfast. The coffee was excellent. We would stay here again.

Rooms were spacious and clean. My pet feel comfortable here and feels like home away from home. Would recommend it for business and pet friendly. Breakfast is delicious and all staff is very friendly at all times.

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful, professional and welcoming. There was a full-service breakfast (waffles, eggs, bagel, potatoes, sausages, etc.) . A special "thank you" to the clerk on duty when I checked in.

The room was spacious and the beds were super comfortable. The toom was also very clean. The only problem was that the shower gel/body wash container in the shower was empty.

At first we were in the wrong room for us. It was handicapped and we didn't feel it was right to take a room that someone with a disability might need. So we went back to the front desk and asked for a room change. They accommodated us about an hour later (we just went to lunch) and the second room was much better. The hospitality was very nice and they wear many hats there. The room was clean when we arrived but what we did not know was that they don't clean them every day. Due to covid they only clean 3 x a week and we arrived on one of the days of cleaning, then we had guests the 2nd day they would have cleaned and the third day we checked out. When I called downstairs for cleaning, they would not come because the housecleaners didn't work that day. However they did bring us fresh towels and took our trash. The bistro on site is just enough to get a burger, a glass of wine or coffee and bagel for breakfast. Overall, I would stay here again. We felt safe, clean and comfortable.

It was one of the most comfortable & quite places I've stayed at. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are a few close restaurants that were very good. I don't like Keurig or Starbucks coffee but the room had a pod drip coffee maker & the brand they have is very good. 1st hotel coffee I've enjoyed in years. The hotel is starting to show a little age but they are in the process of renovating. My only complaint is the bathroom shower head is too high. It felt like it was 7 ft high. At 5.3 inches tall it was a bit difficult to rinse the shampoo out of my hair.

We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Torrance, CA. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, the staff members were friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient. The hotel was a short distance from a mall with lots of restaurants, and there was a restaurant across the street.

Excellent location, well maintained with a recent update to the property. Friendly staff and great value. The restaurant offers a great selection of breakfast and light dinner items and a selection of beer/cocktails for those who wish to stay in. Quiet and secure property.

Very professional and friendly staff. NO safe in rooms. They clean rooms every third day, but provide towels and supplies upon request. Housekeeping staff very helpful and friendly. Fitness room adequate, but could use more equipment. King's Bakery/Restaurant nearby.

I believe this is the second time I've stayed here! Location is excellent, with a mall and tons of eateries and shops nearby. And even though it's located next to a busy street, you really don't hear any of that commotion. Moreover, Torrance gives great access to Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, etc via car. Even Long Beach isn't terribly far by car. Unfortunately, no L.A. Metro stop close-by. The room was comfy, clean, and inviting, if not a bit dated looking. As always, with a Residence Inn, each room has a mini-kitchen, which is nice to have, even if just reheating leftovers. I was visiting the area with my brother. The room was large enough that each of us had enough space. Sometimes that's a problem in a hotel room, but since this isn't a hotel in a dense downtown area, I expected that the room would be quite large. As far as amenities, my brother used the pool and hot tub one evening, which he seemed to enjoy. The free, full breakfast each morning was greatly appreciated. It's always nice to start the day off right, not having to worry about what to eat right off the bat. Makes for more time to sightsee! Even though there appeared to be a lot of guests over the weekend, it was pretty quiet. That's always nice after a long day of playing tourist. Parking is gated and plentiful, though it is for a fee. Parking lots and walkways were well-lit so it does feel safe. If I'm in the area, I'd definitely stay here for a third time!

Stayed at the Torrance RI for one night for business. This is not your typical RI. Instead of one building, its laid out like a resort complex with multiple buildings. Was fairly easy to find my room and the overall feel was much more relaxing that the typical big box hotel. The grounds were nice and it was great to take a break from the travel grind by having breakfast outside...really laid out like a nice resort. The other great thing is that the staff is extremely friendly. Absolutely everyone said good morning to me. Check in was a breeze. My room was humongous with a very comfortable bed. The fitness center was a little small, but had 2 treadmills and 2 ellipticals and some room for weights. Would be nice if a little bigger. Breakfast brunch is fantastic with lots of high quality options. Just a couple of small things that prevent me from giving this a 5 star review (which I really want to). The doors/walls are a little think so I could hear traffic go by on the nearby busy road. Also, on the bathtub, the H and C controls were reversed and the tub showed rust and age. Would gladly stay here again. Really like the layout and the friendliness.

We had stayed in a lot of Marriott Hotels in California and this was the fourth. I made my reservation for the Residence Inn through the Bonvoy App. Before my arrival, I had a few inquiries which were responded to promptly and efficiently by Emmanuel. He extended my late checkout an hour more. Checked in by Patty was impeccable, she is a Gem. Very professional and left a personal touch. She has upgraded us to a "penthouse unit" on the second floor. She has listened to our purpose of travel and has anticipated our needs. Complimentary breakfast was an excellent addition, I love the crispy pork bacon, scrambled egg, bagels with cream cheese, and their coffee. The swimming pool is clean and well-maintained, I got to work early the next morning but did not have the chance to experience it. First class to everyone! Once again, kudos to Emmanuel and Patty, who has the heart of hospitality. We will definitely return and stay longer.

Hello everyone This hotel has excelente cuisine! I'm talking gourmet food. I come here for the room service haha They have carpaccio in the menu and amazing salads. Super delicious food. I usually come here once a year to enjoy their menu and watch old movies. Also the shower is wonderful, good pressure and it has a place to sit down in the shower. Everyone who works here is nice and the hotel is well located close to everything. They also have a nice pool and jacuzzi. This my place to go when I want to unwind and treat my myself.

We had an awesome stay at the Double Tree in Torrance. It was right beside an amazing Korean grocery store, Benihana, Starbucks, and a bunch of cool places. The mall is right across the street. The hotel was nice, the beds the comfy, and the pool and jacuzzi were all great as well. The staff were all friendly and nice. And of course there were the cookies =)

The room was clean, cool, and comfortable. It featured a balcony with a sliding glass door that was a bit difficult to open but it did provide access to the balcony. There was a mini-fridge in the room and electrical outlets next to the bed. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with a small step, a grab bar for safety, and a small bench seat. The floor of the shower was just a little slippery but the hotel provided an anti-slip mat to use for safety. Water pressure was good; there was a standard showerhead. Front desk staff was efficient and professional. (Tip: To access the room via the elevator/lift, hold the room key card flat against the key card pad in the elevator, wait for the green and red lights to display, press the desired floor, then remove the key card from the key card pad. If the floor number doesn't stay lit when you press it, you need to start over.) The hotel had a restaurant on site as well as a convenient market with sandwiches, salads, snacks, sundries, etc. There was pay parking available at the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again.

The hotel has a convenient location. It is on the other side of a big shopping mall, giving you the access to shopping, restaurants, coffee shops but not the noise. My guest room is comfortable and up to date. Based on the tips from this community, I picked a room facing the pool and garden, enjoying the view and quietness. It has a balcony where I have a good view of the pools and garden. Unlike most of the hotels in the post-COVID era, this hotel has daily house keeping services to keep the Redon tidy and clean.

Stayed there for 4 nights with a group of 40 students and had a great stay. Rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and with nice amenities necessary for a great stay. Water in the shower was very weak, though, and traffic from 405 was pretty loud. The breakfast was great, and the staff there were very attentive. I also enjoyed the food at the restaurant, as the pasta dish was really good. Manny at the bar was also very nice and friendly. Angelique from the front desk was also an all-star. I would definitely stay here again.

It was great! 3 mile proximity to Galaxy Stadium was convenient for walking or for a $15 Uber ride including tip. Our room was quiet with good room-darkening blinds and a quiet HVAC system. It was very clean and I was surprised to have daily maid service. Bar had good happy hour prices and great service. Front desk was very welcoming and helpful. I will stay here again

I stayed one night while in the area on business. The outside looks like it could use a fresh paint job. The inside was nice. The room was clean. Others said this hotel just had a remodel. My room was ok, but not sure I would call it recently remodeled; at least not the bathroom. I ate dinner at the bar and the service was great and the food equally great as well. And, it was packed. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The ac offered a constant fan option to help drown out any road noise. Overall, a nice stay.

This hotel is one of my favorites in Los Angeles area, is has inhouse restaurant which serves breakfast every day buffet style which is REALLY GOOD!!! As well it has a bar that has excellent food and drinks at very reasonable prices, the food is exceptional as well. The facility has an outdoor pool, gym and plenty of parking which is a great convenience, the staff is very friendly and eager to make you feel at home.....overall a great experience.

I walk with canes and the disable features are discreet and very useful. They have an M Club now and the food there was especially tasty, and innovative. Quiche, Mini Beef Wellington, pesto mozzarella. At 7.30 desserts were offered. As an extensive traveler I usually dine at restaurants but the hotel served excellent food and I entertained there twice this trip. Breakfast offered Salmon Eggs Benedict, which was the best I have had. The hotel location at Ocean and Pine makes it a quick stroll to many good local restaurants as well. I have been staying at the hotel when it was a Renaissance, the staff welcomed me back and continue friendly and helpful. They are just completing their extensive renovations but their effort really shows in a lovely lobby. In my many decades of travel this was an excellent stay. It is now the best hotel in Long Beach, and compares well to any I have stayed in, throughout the USA and overseas.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Marriott LB Downtown prior to a cruise. Hotel is in a perfect location to easily get to local restaurants and to the cruise terminal. We had a fantastic stay! We knew we would have a great stay since our check in experience was friendly, quick and easy! The room was beautifully appointed. Everything was fresh, clean and welcoming. Enjoyed a delicious late dinner at the restaurant and very much enjoyed our breakfast buffet. Can’t wait to return!

This hotel is absolutely amazing. It has the friendliest most helpful staff everywhere from housekeeping to the managers. It is newly remodeled..and beautifully! I took pictures to incorporate in my own home decor! The weekend evening manager Todd should be given so many kudos. He was there for us at every turn… helped us with restaurant recommendations and nailed it every time! He told us the safe and not safe routes and areas and made sure we understood. Long Beach is a great alternative to the ritzy Huntington/newport areas. Great restaurants aquarium and a port to get to Catalina and other sea adventures. Look no further than this hotel as it is walkable to all!! Thank you Marriott. Truly one of your best hotels.

Traveling with my sister and our elderly godparents, we truly appreciated how he took the time to carefully check room availability and kindly arranged for us to have rooms right next to each other. His kindness wasn’t the kind that feels scripted or routine—it was quiet, sincere, and deeply thoughtful. That level of care made us feel genuinely welcomed and set a wonderful tone for our stay. The hotel itself was also fantastic—the location was convenient, and our room was spacious, elegant, and comfortable, not to mention the gorgeous view. It made our time there even more enjoyable and relaxing.

This was a really pleasant stay, the hotel is beautiful. Very clean open and spacious and the staff were very friendly on arrival and throughout. I found my room had been upgraded from a standard room to a big room with a city view which was a lovely surprise and made my day. The room was very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Very well located and would love to stay again.

The hotel is big enough to accommodate a large crowd of guests and yet it feels so comfortable and clean, the staff are always welcoming and friendly smiling, Infront desk staff are always polite and helpful. I like the huge parking space and the AC and hot water tub is nice too. Loved they have more than one kind of coffee & a coffee maker in the room. And decaf coffee is also good . I really felt so safe during my stay at the hotel for the whole week. After my check out I went to 2 hotels but then I came back again and extended my stay at holiday in for more 3 nights. It’s always the best . The hugeeeeee trees around the hotel is amazing I liked the walk every morning it was soo much comfy and relaxing too.

We booked this hotel for one night prior to a cruise leaving from San Pedro. The rooms are definitely in need of renovation (I understand a renovation on the upper floors has already begun). The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable but the furniture is very old and beat up. Bathroom is clean but again needs a renovation. The public areas are nice and the staff was very friendly. We ate in the bar at happy hour and the service and food were good. Breakfast was good. They have a buffet breakfast but we just ordered from the menu and it was good. Once the rooms are renovated this will be quite a nice hotel. The room rate was very reasonable compared to other hotels in LA or in San Pedro.

My go to place. Yes its not the flashest, but its in a quiet and safe part of South LA. I usually pay a little extra for a suite which is well worth it, the suite rooms are huge, separate bedroom with an extra TV set. I'm an IHG Diamond Elite member so see a lot of Intercontinental group hotels, but I am always happy here. Parking is good and car is always safe. A special shout out to Oscar in Ginger Cafe, a real good dude that goes out of his way to make sure you are always happy. Same for Art in reception, another friendly and helpful staff member. Actually all the staff are great, another reason to always stay here..

My second stay at this hotel & it didn’t disappoint. Beds are really comfy & rooms are clean. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms this stay & its was super nice! Only the wifi & smart tv wasn’t working 100% of the time on my floor I think due to the renovation but it wasn’t a big issue. Staff are friendly. Guest laundry room available. Would defo recommend this hotel.

The room had everything I liked being fridge, microwave, bath, wifi and a comfy bed. Property also had a great pool and jacuzzi that I didn't use but it looked like fun. There was a wholefoods around the corner and a CVS not far away. The breakfast far exceeded expectations being a a full buffet breakfast with eggs.

The price and location were great. The pool and jacuzzi are open until 10. There was a great breakfast selection! The lobby has snacks and frozen meals available for purchase, and there was even popcorn when we checked in.. The room had a mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The front desk person was very welcoming and friendly and even called to check that everything was okay once we checked in. There is also a gym although I did not use it this stay. The hotel has everything you need for a great price! The room was big, very clean, and had plenty of towels.

Apart from some reviews that were JUST NOT TRUE! This place has some of the most comfortable beds found in ANY Inn, Suite or Hotel around!!!!!!!!!!! The staff is VERY ACCOMADATING & Helpful, The Rooms are kept VERY CLEAN with a daily Room Service so you will always have a freshly made bed and ALWAYS CLEAN TOWELS! Oh let me not forget to mention the free breakfast that's offered here-DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Gosh did you forget to pack something that you need? NO WORRIES! The Target Store right across the street will have it! You are also next door to or just a few foot steps away from all kinds of fast food and sit down restaurants! And VERY VERY CLOSE to the Terra Bella Shopping Center whch has everything from a Costco to a Cheesecake Factory Restaurant to a great movie theater! Believe Me You will leave more rested than you had thought you were going to be after staying here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Centrally located right on Beach Blvd with a variety of places to eat and a 15 minute drive to the beach. Also located 5 minutes from the freeway which made it easy to find. Friendly staff including the breakfast staff was amazing. Great pool too! Everyone liked it. Very clean too! Safe as well and we'll lit which was one of my main concerns on this trip. Parking is close by the rooms as well. This was my 3rd time staying here and it's always been fun.

Unlike the other reviews, my friend and I had a positive experience at this hotel. We had a two bedroom suite. We took advantage of having a kitchen which was stocked with plates, utensils and cooking supplies. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water in the shower with good water pressure and the space was roomy. The laundry facility was next to our room so it was convenient to do laundry. You will need quarters since the machines don’t accept credit cards. My friend used the gym several times during our trip and was satisfied with the gym. There is plenty of parking for a fee. The hotel is walking distance to Trader Joe’s, Costco, coffee shops and restaurants which was a bonus. The free breakfast buffet had eggs, breakfast meat which they rotated each day, make your own waffles, oatmeal, muffins, bread, English muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, milk and milk substitutes, cereal, juice, etc. There is a swimming pool on the property which was nice to have to pass some time. Around the pool, there are lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. You will need to bring a towel to the pool. The elevators worked fine during our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful from the front desk to the housekeepers and breakfast staff. The carpets do look worn and probably need to be replaced, but other than that we were satisfied with the hotel. We also used the business center in the lobby to print boarding passes.

We came to visit our son in LBC, and these accommodations were a great value, though not exactly LBC, but not a bad 15 min drive. Room was VERY spacious and clean. We wanted a sofa bed option in case our adult daughter wanted to bunk overnight, but she chose to stay at the beach with our son instead. (Duh!) We hoped to go walk over to the horserace track, but ran out of time. Breakfast was awesome...fresh and plentiful AND included. Staff friendly and helpful. Upon arriving I wanted ice to make a drink, and found no ice machines (your room has an ice maker which you have to turn on and wait a bit) I asked the front desk girl and she was sympathetic to my dilemma and gave me a bag of ice so my happy hour could begin! It’s pet friendly so it was fun seeing all the dogs around. The only negative was that my room had no USB ports to charge my phone. And I forgot my cube attachment for my cord. Surprising. I had to charge in the car. Also the A/C was quite noisy so we had to turn it off at night, but were still comfortable thanks to the SoCal weather! Would definitely stay again and bring the dog next time.

Found my new favorite hotel for a quick getaway. Very quiet, family friendly and the room was perfect for my family of three. Loved having a kitchen with a large refrigerator and stove top for making food. Bed was very comfortable and my daughter even said the roll out was too. Complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise. Lots to choose from to start our day.

My friends were bragging about the free coffee and breakfast they were receiving at there hotel as well as free parking, we tried to order steak dinner and was told they were out of steaks. order wet burrito the egg were cooked like rubber. espresso bar was great cheesecake was good security guards were all professional and quick to help. my room was great and clean

Nothing in walking distance as far as food or shopping. Have daily shuttle but not reliable as far as availability. Have to order food from bar and limited choices. Had free bottled water. Rooms were quiet and clean. Nice view and pool. Staff was Friendly and helpful due to limitations they tried to accommodate.

The service was super helpful from the valet to the reception area. Hotel has a Starbucks inside and the coffee was great as well. The room was super spacious and clean, I would def recommend staying there and walking the downtown area specially at night so much to see and near restaurants and shopping stores

GREAT! I need a place to reside for a few days. Out of sheer desperation and tight budget I called Del Amo Inn. The clerk was nice and invited me to come. I did. I do not regret it! I paid $75 for two people (mom and myself) two beds/1 room. Not only was it clean, the windows were open to air out the room. Easy to close and on the ground floor (my mother walks with a cane). The clerk was pleasant and friendly. The room was clean, clean, clean! The bathroom smelt fresh. Towels clean (though rough...what do you expect at $75 a night?) and the room has a comfortable feel. Heat/air easy to operate. One drawback. 1. Pillows smelt as though it missed a few washings, otherwise, no bedbugs. If you wanted to stock up, there are plenty of grocery stores in the area: Ralph's, Albertson's, Trader Joe's. Two seven-elevens. Plenty of places to visit and a great location. Two malls, beaches nearby as well as libraries and Victor Park on Anza and Emerald. Do not pass this up! For the price I was glad I took a chance.

Way better than we had anticipated in this price range - the room we had was a recently renovated room - "hardwood" floors (much cleaner than carpet) and a super duper brand new really comfortable mattress! So new, in fact that the sheets didn't quite have the depth to tuck in! but so comfortable. Everyone at the hotel we met was very welcoming and friendly. Good location for visiting family. BUT, a coin operated ice machine - really? No breakfast - but that was okay with us - I made tea in the room with the microwave, my companion went out of coffee - it worked out.

Peaceful, quite, spacious, really warm water from the shower for someone like myself that likes really warm water, extra towels, and comfortable bed with fresh linen.

This motel is conveniently located near restaurants and walkable beach access. It's great for a quick stay and has very clean rooms. The rooms are properly serviced with no hair or signs of pests and the beds are changed routinely. The mattresses are on the firm side, so longer stays than a night could possibility cause discomfort if you're used to a pillowtop mattresses. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the area which is a plus of you are not. I'd recommend staying here if you desire to be across the street from the beach. There is only a $100 deposit for a pet free stay. They did ask if we had pets or children, not sure if there is additional deposit for children though.. Maybe they try to accommodate the noise of children on higher level floors by giving you a 1st floor room. But, that's just my guess. There could be an additional cleaning deposit for pets. Again, I didn't have any pets during my stay, so that is another guess. I recommend calling ahead to confirm any additional deposits or accommodations for your stay if you have kids or pets.

The staff was incredibly friendly and offered advice on tbings to do. They came every other day to change out the towels, clean the room, and make the bed...first time ive seen that in years! Its convenient to both Huntington Beach, Sunset Beach, and Long Beach. Its an older motel, but you can tell the family that runs it now is trying to rebuild the place jnto a reliable place to stay. I will definitely be back!

This was an amazing little hotel. The jacuzzi was a perfect size and the jets felt good. The breakfast in the morning wasn’t too bad, basic. The service was great, overall great experience.

The breakfast buffet was amazing!! Consisted of: cinnamon rolls, eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal bar, yogurt bar, pancake maker, oatmeal, juice stand, coffee stand, bagel/toast section. This is one of my top priority when staying since having my girls Hangry is not a good way to start a day. Beds were comfortable for me but wife said it was uncomfortable. Had food in fridge from previous person in the room. Also was out of soap for shower but front desk provided some. Understandable since house keepers do there best to clean a whole room with a certain time frame. Overall great but parking can get really full in the evening. Thankfully we found a spot. The front clerk was very friendly, she made checking in amazing.

My family and I drove down to Anaheim for a quick Disneyland trip before Christmas. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Valet attendants were very understanding when we kept leaving things in the car and they had to bring the car back up for us to grab it. Front desk was great and allowed us to check in early. But Yadira at the breakfast was the best! On our check out day, we slept in and went to breakfast late, so they were out of cinnamon roll, but Yadira and/or Ofelia made one for my daughter. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Also, the breakfast opens at 6:30am, so on the day we went into the park, it was perfect as we were able to eat breakfast, leave the hotel by 7am, walk and got to the park by 7:10am to rope drop Disneyland.

I was a little leery of booking this hotel based on some of the negative reviews here, but I went with my "trust" in the Holiday Inn Express brand, and it was a good decision. The property is a bit dated and could use some freshening up, but in terms of the things that matter, it was all thumbs up. By that, I mean it was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the place seemed safe. Everything in the room worked well. It was quiet. The official hotel website mentions that parking is limited. During my stay, I found parking to be abundant, but maybe occupancy was low so I cannot comment on whether there could be a parking shortage if the hotel is at full occupancy. If I had to mention any drawbacks, I'd mention that: (1) the fitness center seemed a little sad. Instead of using the fitness room, I opted instead to go jogging; there is a nice, big, seemingly safe park ("Twila Park") with plenty of running/ walking paths located a short distance to the west (and getting to it does not require crossing any major thoroughfares). (2) the breakfast was good, but they kept running out of HI's signature warm cinnamon rolls and they were not replaced promptly. In general, if you are generally happy with the Holiday Inn Express experience, you should be happy here. You know what the HI Express provides and doesn't provide, and this property is consistent with that "brand promise".

i go to holiday inn for the service. the staff is friendly and helpful. when i came at 11 i told Kalim i knew it was too early to check in but could i use the restroom. he showed me where it was. when i came back a few hours later he was getting off work and alberto checked me in. he was warm and friendly and went out of his was to make me feel welcome. betsy was working when i got up at 530 and she was great. took a while for the hot water to get upto the shower but when it did it was nice and hot. the thermostat on the wall had nothing to do with the heater and when i figured that out , all was good. i told betsy about that the next morning and she said she would report it. breakfast was good too.

In fact, I had booked the hotel and almost cancelled after reading those reviews. I decided to give it a chance anyway due to its great location and proximity to the local event I was attending - and I'm glad I did. Here is what I found (contrary to multiple reviews): 1) Extremely positive, helpful and friendly front desk staff (Chris) 2) Spacious, clean room with good lighting and closet space. 3) Very comfortable and clean bed/pillows 4) Excellent counter space and multiple electric outlets 5) Clean bathroom with good shower including temperature and water pressure 6) Great location - central to attractions, convention center, restaurants, etc. 7) No cigarette or marijuana odor 8) No loud guests or any drama on the grounds 9) Our own balcony 10) Clean spacious fridge in the room 11) Hardwood floor (or quality laminate) 12) Even on a busy holiday (New Years), found a parking space in their lot ($5 charge) 13) All above at a budget price! In short, not sure if I just got a recently renovated room, there's been a staff turnover or management had responded to previous complaints. In any case, I had all pros and no cons at all; I would certainly stay there again next time I'm in Long Beach.

Such a convenient location (1) with the beach & marina so close (left on Atlantic Ave, left to Ocean, right to Shoreline & left to Beach Access Rd). (2) VONS grocery store to right, along with (3) great restaurants like The Crab Shack. Ivan, Gulimerro and Sean at front desk were wonderful! Our double queen room had refrig and balcony. Easy dropoff and pickup (we used Uber).

Right in the heart of Long Beach CA, you are minutes walking distance from great restaurants and the beach. The staff cares about you and the property so you can get a peaceful rest. My go to hotel

The staff is very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaints are no microwave and shower pressure not great.

Location is close to dining, beach, convention center. Stayed on Grand Prix weekend and it was a perfect location. Desk agent, Rahan fulfilled my request for specific room location and was very helpful and professional.

My family & I have stayed in a lot of different hotels. We loved the experience we had at Staybridge Suites an IHG Hotel in Long Beach. Their breakfast buffet was well stocked. A lady named Rose/Rosie was very pleasant, communicative & informative. She smiles & has great customer service. She kept the buffet area clean & organized. Tables are clean. The food was amazingly delicious. Jahayra did a great job, (I hope I spelled her name correctly). I apologize if I didn’t. Rosie told me about her. A lot of work for two people. They’re both such hard workers. Wonderful team work to both ladies. 👏🏽👍🏽🥰 The hotel had a lot of variety of breakfast options to choose from. Rosie somehow stand out to my husband & I, such a sweet lady, always smiling & accommodating with everyone’s needs. It means a lot to us/consumer when you go to an establishments/restaurants when customer service are great. It makes our stay enjoyable & memorable. It makes want to come back again & tell our family & friends about our experience. We had a little problem with the AC in our bedroom & the maintenance person named Louie came over We left the hotel feeling relaxed until we hit traffic going home. The lady at the front desk when we checked in on the evening of 8/29 was pleasant with a smile. Overall our experience at this hotel was great. Thank you to all the staff. 👍🏽👏🏽🥰

I recently stayed one night at the Stay Bridge Suites Long Beach Airport after a cruise; we spent one night prior to heading back home. The facility is clean, modern and located within close proximity to the Long Beach Airport which makes this facility the perfect choice if flying in or out of town. We had a king suite and found the suite to be clean, modern, spacious and well appointed with an equipped kitchenette, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable and we had a good night sleep prior to heading home. The facility was quiet and we would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable, well appointed, quiet, and safe. Breakfast buffet every day. Friendly and accommodating staff. The best part is that is affordable and great value for the money. I can recommend this hotel without reservation.

Staff at check in was wonderful, very quick and friendly. Informed us about the snacks and wine for get together .. Nice swimming pool for the kids and hot tub. Pool table was fun Excellent breakfast with scones and fresh strawberries. ....Along with waffles, eggs and other breakfast things. Very quiet rooms. Two bedroom suite was excellent 43 adults and three children. Michael at front desk was very sweet and accommodating.. Manager was always around checking on things.He was everywhere.... Even the security guard, it was very kind and sweet and talked to the kids for a while. Overall, a ten plus score and would recommend this highly to anyone.

First and foremost let me just say, this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed with. Rooms are clean the walls are thick, parking isn’t complicated queen size beds are comfortable properly and lands is very well kept been here 11 months I have not one complaint. As far as the staff Husain and Gina are super polite, extremely helpful, exceptional customer service and very warm and welcoming. I will always recommend WoodSpring suits .

My Stay here has been amazing. Gina and Hussain always have a smile on while helping you with anything you need. And are at your service with anything you may need. The rooms are clean from top to bottom and fresh as soon as you walk in. The hotel is always kept clean from the halls to the parking lot. Plenty of stores and places to eat near by as well. I will definitely choose Bellflower Woodspring suites again.

From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, everything I experienced was more than satisfactory. My room was squeaky clean when I first walked in. Staff were friendly and absolutely attentive and helpful. A huge thank you to Mariah, my check-in process was a breeze thanks to her and that kind of service is not lost on me. Thank you!

This place is always immaculate. The common area is ALWAYS spotless I don't know how they do it. Keep it up!! The room was prestine , the bathromm EXTREMELY clean and white. It's almost like this hotel just opened yesterday. The area is quiet, safe and there are dining options within walking distance. Will utilize this location again should the needs arise.

We've all had to take a chance on these listings being accurate when visitng a new place. I've had my fair share of bad choices after the listing has not represented the hotel/motel well at all. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH OCEAN SURF INN!! I am so happy about our stay. Everything was exactly as listed and even better were things I had no idea about. The property is described and pictured exactly how it is in reality. The staff is amazing and the manager Shaun was so helpful! They had plenty of beach towels and beach toys we could borrow for the beach, which was something we couldnt bring with us since we had just returned from a cruise vacation and were still very far from home. The top deck is super comfy with amazing views, and the room had all the sanitary items we needed to stay clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was fresh pancakes out on the top deck in the sun. The lower parking garage is where you enter/exit the building in the evening and it is very well lit and not sketchy at all. The back alleys felt safe walking at night and had an overall safe vibe. I cant say enough about this place and how happy we were to stay here. The beach really is right across the street!! Thank you Ocean Surf Inn for being an excellent choice and value!!

The mattresses are the newer ones & great. The property is clean and a bit bare bones, but room is updated enough and safe. I got the jacuzzi suite and the water was hot enough to fill and keep hot.. I always hate the darn small pillows these hotels have but they were puffy enough..

Stayed here one night and then came back and stayed another! Very clean and safe! Enjoyed the jacuzzi as well.

The location, and jacuzzi tab with jets was a nice surprise.

The Hotel was very easy to find and just a five minute walk to the beach. First impression was a little doubtful as the tiny checkin office is a little unkempt and the staff although friendly could definitely be more professionally dressed.There is not an elevator but it is only 3 floors. The steps are in need of paint which would help with that first impression. Then we stepped into our very lovely third floor Harbour view jacuzzi room! It was perfect for our stay! Spacious and modern with a lovely Harbour view. The shower pressure was fine and our bed was comfortable. The furniture modern. We had a fridge and microwave. Maid service was fine. We could leave our car parked in the free garage and walk to several restaurants as well as the beach.. Great qstay and would definitely return.

Its a small hotel that doesnt look too fancy on the outside but what's important to me was comfortability and cleanliness and this location excelled at both. The beds are the nicests beds ive slept in at a hotel ever with big puffy pillows, nice clean spacious bathroom with soap, conditioner, and lotion dispensers if you forget yours. The cost was super reasonable considering its literally a 10 minute walk to sunset beach down Anderson st. not expensive at all, housekeeping was great, not at all intrusive which I appreciated and they cleaned very well, always had fresh big towels available, which is helpful when the beach is at your doorstep. Theres not a super clear view of the ocean but you can still see it and definitely hear it, which is relaxing. Nice balcony to relax on, lots of trash cans available inside the room and on the premises, safe parking, and the guy that checked us in was super super nice and gave us tips on the best places to eat and visit since we were from out of town. Told us alot of cool history on the location as well. All in all ill definitely be coming back July of 2026 for my next long beach trip. ⛱️ Had a great time 😁

We really enjoyed our one night stay, before we head to anaheim for disney, this was nice an relaxing. Be sure to check out the pier and downtown seal beach, it is such a Gem... cute little coastal hotel. If you stay on coastlines than you know. Quaint, quiet, has everything you need like shampoo conditioner lotion. Located by many restaurants.. we tried Hennesy in downtown seal beach and OMG, tues is buy one burger get one and its delicious, its only a few mins from downtown seal beach! Its cost effective and the better of the cost effective places in the area thats very close to the beach...cute little beachy cotton quilt. Service was easy and great! She was very kind and made it stress free, but we are easy going people. So think that makes things go smoother. Nit picking is going to take the joy out of your life and people will not want to work with you... I see some of the comments and we did not have any issues with anything... Please be kind. Be grateful, we definitely will return when we are in the area. Fot deposit back in like half hour, she said she would release in 10 mins when we checked out, and she kept her word. So thank you, we needed the R and R! Be kind follow the rules and you wont have any issues. We stayed on a tues and we seen others check in but did not really hear anyone... Location is the best. Hotel staff, especially the front lady, were very friendly, attentive and helpful. I'm not sure all those bad, old,p reviews but the room we stayed in 3rd floor with cal king bed was very big and everything was quite brand new and clean. The furnitures, bathroom, sink, toilet, shower were very clean and new. Paints, floors seemed new. No bugs or ants that others mentioned at all. Big TV, big refrigerator and microwave were useful. Towels are clean, seems new and smelled very good. AC/heating unit was new. Cleaning crews were everywhere constantly cleaning so if needed anything, they were there. Due to some, all old bad reviews, we only booked 1 night just to see how it was and when we liked the place and the location, we canceled other more expensive hotel up the street and booked the rest of the days here. Prices is very good for this expensive area. Walked everywhere and also took metro to go around. Will definitely rebook this place when in town. No noise, very quiet place.

When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk, but when I rang, someone came right away. Staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. The outside looks dated and there's quite a bit of construction/renovation going on. Despite the somewhat rough exterior, the rooms are updated, very clean, and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable and clean, too The furnishings are a bit Spartan, but with the spotless rooms and bathroom, I give this a high recommendation. Not luxury but worth the price. Good Mexican and Thai cafes nearby, too. I would stay here again.

Booked for 5 nights but ended up extended to 8 . Price reasonable , Location excellent five minutes walk to Beach , restaurants and shops close by especially the 7 11 also bus stops 2 minutes away which go to Long Beach and LAX . Didn’t actually use the pool but looked fine . Room was very nice a good size and clean comfy beds had a good size fridge and big TV - Staff very nice - Misty and Mitch on reception very helpful . Would definitely recommend.

Mitch at the front desk was super helpful at all times. The pool was quiet and clean, it could have done with more lounge chairs, but as it wasn't busy, it wasn't a problem after all. The room had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable! The location is amazing, closeby to 7/11, bus stops and only 10 mins walk from the beach.

We Really liked the room with jacuzzi inside and with a cozy and nice balcony. Room was clean, no smells, and plenty spacious. However, the large room TV was difficult to operate as there is no tv guide function and difficult to navigate channels. Breakfast room and service was nice and better than most at this price point.When i checked out at the front desk, literally all the staff member said was, "ok!". Really? No "thank you, hope you had a nice stay, bye, or see you next time". She could have been much more warm, cordial and attentive to a friendly departing customer. Needs some customer service training

The hotel was pleasantly located off the PCH with a very short walk to the quiet beach. The hotel staff were pleasant during our stay. The hotel itself and rooms were pretty clean. The rooms were quiet large. I enjoyed staying here with a couple minor things. The first being the room. In the room we had, The shower curtain rod was not appropriately placed making the shower space limited. And the shower head was spraying the back of the shower causing water to get aok over the floor. There was no way to adjust this based on the positioning of the pipe it was connected to. Additionally, the furniture could use some updating. The second being the parking. They only allow one vehicle per room as there is very limited parking. Which is fine, we only had one car. But some of the spaces are pretty small bigger vehicles should not park in the parking garage. The third and final thing was the breakfast. More specifically the eggs. The eggs are no good. They are clearly either frozen and look like a sunny side up egg or they use the powdered egg reconstituted to be scrambled eggs. Aside from the above mentioned items, I had absolutely no problem with this hotel. And I would 100% stay here again. The pricing for the location and hotel is just perfect and budget friendly.

The property is in a convenient location, close to the beach and restaurants. The room was big and comfortable. We had a harbor-view balcony where it was nice to sit in the evening. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had great variety.

It's been a few years since we last visited Long Beach for a festival. We used to stay here when it was The Days Inn & It was always a pleasant stay although the rooms were dated. An affordable price point and good location. It seems there have been some upgrades to the rooms! They look great. We stayed in a family suite where three adults each had our own bed. There was also a room with a door for extra privacy after showers getting dressed etc. The rooms are way more modern looking than they used to be and it's a nice upgrade. The parking lot is more lit than it used to be few years ago as well. Which is a nice touch. This property is close to stores and restaurants. Walking distance to a CVS. That was also a major plus for us back then. If you're looking for some resort equivalent type stay this place may not be for you. If you are looking for a clean comfortable stay without breaking the bank then you will like this property as we have. We are thinking of coming back in a few months and staying here again!

The property is definitely on the older side, but don’t let that deter you. It’s in a very safe and quiet area with plenty of parking. The room is quiet and comfortable, good water pressure and very clean, hair dryer, microwave and fridge included. They have small upgrades like USB plugs in the lamps and desk that make a huge difference. The owner and staff are so kind and accommodating and on site laundry is a bonus. I’d rather give my money to these guys than some dump Motel 6 any day.

Everything about our stay was fabulous! Close to the Pike, great complementary breakfast and great room. Also, great pool, and jacuzzi. I am actually planning another trip and will be staying again. I am looking forward to it.

Beach, ease to 405 and all things in the Seal Beach neck of the woods made this hotel a perfect location. The drive to downtown Seal Beach is less than 5 minutes away. Visiting family in Long Beach and finding Restaurants for dinner was a breeze. Comfortable, priced right with complimentary breakfast and free parking made this Hampton Inn a fine choice for a quick wedding weekend from Northern California. Plus Southwest and Long Beach airport are so easy to traverse.

Wonderful hotel. Facilities were clean, spacious, and modern. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast bar was excellent with different options each day. Good location. Would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend.

Words cannot express the amazing experience we had at the terranea resort and spa . From beginning to end , we had a spectacular time !!!! We were celebrating our 20 wedding anniversary and their attention to detail was exquisite . Our concierge handled all our dinner reservations and we had such an extraordinary time. The views , our upgrade to the casita ! The service , the spa and all Our fabulous dinners were unlike no other . Staff was super happy and serviceable. Everyone was attentive and knowledgeable. Cenebio from the Mar’sel restaurant was amazing . It was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had . He was so great and made us feel so special He even took a picture of us having dinner overlooking the ocean and gave it to us in a beautiful card . It was one of the most memorable dining experiences of our 20 years of marriage together. Corey from Bashi was so sweet and attentive. He also made our celebration so special . Nelson’s was also great for lunch. All the chefs we had the pleasure of dining from were 5 stars . The details in everything were incredible The turn down service , the spa masseuses. AMAZING The spa itself is the main character in this picture . It truly felt like you were part of movie set . It was simply extraordinary . The views from everywhere were unbelievable. I cannot rave enough about how beautiful it all was . The hiking trials never disappoint. If you need some respite or some time off to disengage. This is the place!

Everything was great. Minor mis- communication between staff on rose peddles on the bed, a surprise for the wife, but concierge made things right at the end. Alan the manager at Vista pool made us feel welcomed and took care of our pool side needs. Jay Jay the waiter at Catalina kitchen provided excellent service and suggestions when it came to our lunch. The In room breakfast came fast and hot just the way breakfast should be. We had the breakfast burrito and it was delicious. One is enough for two but we weren't sure so we ordered 2. We didn't have much of a view from our room but the whole resort did and it was beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful. Definitely thinking about returning with the family this time and getting the 1 or 2 room bungalow next time. Thank you to all the staff and Deb from concierge.

This resort is absolutely gorgeous. I celebrated my birthday here and it was magical. The staff was so attentive, friendly, beautiful and diverse. The spa was amazing and worth every penny. The food was delicious. We at all four restaurants and didn’t have a bad meal once. Our favorite was Mar’sel! Chris, our waiter, was a riot! And all of his recommendations we had and they did not disappoint. Marco and Ryan at the Lobby Bar were amazing! Cassy at the adult pool was so sweet and accommodating. Mota and Lina at Catalina was so gracious and took good care of us. James at Bashi was the coolest! His demeanor was so warm and pleasant, he also had great recommendations that did not disappoint. I really enjoyed my stay and I cannot wait to come back!

Not enough dining options. The room I booked was ocean view but I got garden view there was a little area on the left with ocean view. I had to pay $100 extra to get an ocean view room and the room didn’t have coffee maker which the first one had one. This is not right, I paid more than $700 to stay less than 20 hrs The lounge bar made extra charges, luckily I noticed and waived the charges. It’s a very nice and unique place.

I had a great experience staying at Studio 6 Suites Gardena! From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The staff was friendly and professional, and I appreciated how clean and spacious the room was. The bed was super comfortable, and having a mini-fridge and microwave in the room was a huge plus. I also liked that there was free parking and reliable Wi-Fi — very convenient for my stay. The location is quiet and close to restaurants and stores, and it felt safe, which gave me peace of mind traveling alone. It’s also not too far from beaches and major spots in L.A. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable place with the basics covered and good service, I definitely recommend Studio 6 in Gardena. I’ll be back!

Pros: Free covered parking, cameras everywhere, microwave & fridge in the room, dining table & 2 chairs in the room, bed is soft, comfy & quiet. Convenient/close to everything: Wendy's & Chevron gas station with convenient store literally NEXT TO THE HOTEL, restaurants & markets nearby! Owner/manager's response to ac/heater issue was almost instant. Much appreciated! Wood floors are great! However, they should use vacuum cleaner to clean the floor because the broom that the cleaning lady was using to clean the floor was actually leaving some dirts behind. Cons: Online description says there's hair dryer in the room but there was none. When I went to the front desk to borrow one, they didn't have one. Also, there were 2 sachets of "conditioning shampoos" in the bathroom. No tiny bar soaps or body wash. BRING YOUR OWN BODY WASH (and conditioner if you're not satisfied using a "conditioning shampoo" alone) and hand soap, too. Overall, for the reasonable rate and with everything this hotel can offer & and the location and the very comfy king size bed, I give it a 5-star and I'd stay here again.

I really liked that it was clean & that the folks working there (Jason and cleaning crew) we're very kind and friendly. The bed was also quite comfortable. I also enjoyed the fact that it was quiet besides the fact that it is located next to a busy street. It was also a very pleasant experience to dine @ the restaurant Think Steakhouse which seems to share the property with the hotel; the ambience was nice, food was tasty and... Happy hour prices!

I made our reservation thru them directly. I signed up for the Vantage Rewards program and got 15% off. Great value considering hotel was under $90 a night. We are heading to San Pedro pier in morning for our honeymoon cruise so I wanted something close. It's about $15 to ride down to slip. They unfortunately don't have a shuttle but the value of this hotel was worth the extra cab fare. We were met by Gabby at the front desk. She was super friendly and efficient. Even offered to get our taxi here in the morning and made sure the extra pillows I ordered were in our room. The room is a little outdated but that's ok, the bed was super comfy. It even had a fridge and microwave and plenty of coffee. It was sparkling clean and smelled great when we entered the room. Ralph's grocery, In and Out, Jack in the box and Subway are a quick walk away. The neighborhood is not awesome but we felt really safe. Lastly, they gave us a room with no neighbors and we appreciated that. I give this hotel my highest rating based on value and cleanliness Thanks to the whole staff, they were wonderful.

It is a great cheap hotel. Perfect walking distance to the parks, free parking, kind workers. The room had hardwood which is more cleaner than carpets in most hotels. Large spacious rooms. Large TV, the kitchenette was fairly clean. The freezer was kind of gross but the fridge and microwave was really clean. Very accommodating letting us park and walk over to the park before our room was done. Gave us preference on bottom floor when asked. We got 3 towels and no hand or washcloths. The soap was not very good. Pillows were flat and not very comfy. No ice machine that I saw.

Due to the area that I had to book this hotel in, my expectations were very low. To my surprise I found this Motel to be clean the people to be nice and parking very very convenient, having booked a room with a jacuzzi in it there could have been more towels but that's about my only complaint. Got to the property. It is right on Pacific Coast Highway. We were lucky enough to get the third floor as we stood outside our room. We had the ocean view and site. The room was very large, spacious, the bed was perfect, clean, nice, well maintained properly. The staff extremely friendly. I will be booking another room shortly again at this place. It is so close to restaurants you literally could walk to. You have a coffee shop within twenty feet. You really don't need to take your car out of the parking lot once you're there. Parking was open, elevator, ADA friendly. Definitely a five-star property.

Awesome location, fantastic room set up with round table & two newly upholstered velvet cobalt blue chairs so you can eat there or work there and I did both. Hair dryer, microwave & fridge made it more convenient to be there & all worked great including the coffee maker which I used for tea. Comfortable bed & nice clean tub/shower with plenty of hot water & adjustable shower head. View of the ocean at sunset was lovely! You cannot beat this place for this price point; awesome for what you pay.

The room was just the basic room. It was clean and well maintained, had a microwave and small refrigerator, The A/C worked great. Coffee, coffee maker, bathroom and tub nice and clean.

Checking in the young lady was super friendly. The beach and restaurants were very close and convenient.

Staff at this establishment was Excellent. I required a room on the 1st floor level due to my age and level of mobility. Easy to work with VJ and his staff. Warm Towles was an unexpected treat. Safe, Clean and Quiet. Delighted to a SAFE ENVIROMENT.

The employees are very friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious and well air conditioned. And, it's a good price for the area.

Stayed here last minute on a road trip when we got too tired to keep driving. Would have given 5 stars for the price we paid for the night (for the area we were in) because I felt it was clean, but we didn’t have towels in our room for the shower and we didn’t notice till the front desk was closed for the night (past 11pm). Make sure to get what you need before 11pm. Easy enough check-in process, convenient to freeway, grocery, gas and other amenities. Would stay again under the same circumstances.

It was nice, quiet, and clean. The decor was basic and outdated, but it was absolutely perfect for the price.

Rate was very good and view of harbor was beautiful. A little run down with scratches on doors, but everything worked and beds were clean. No coffee makers in room, but there was a microwave and refrigerator. Maid saw us leaving and asked if we wanted our room serviced. That was very nice of her to go out of her way to do that for us, so we were impressed by her. Everything we did in San Pedro was within walking distance. Overall, it was a very nice stay and we would love to go back someday.

Convenient for travellers joining the cruise as it's near the port, had to call in how to turn on the shower though as it's kinda hard, but I think it's nice and quiet.

We have stayed here quite a few times and it is perfect for jumping on a ship because we just walk across the street and jump on it or getting off a ship we walk across the street and spend the night before leaving town in the city is in walking distance and it's cute and fun to go to

I loved that it was the closest hotel to the port. They were amazing there and really helped us out with our disability. We parked our car there and it was in perfect condition 16 days later.

When we stayed at walls motel I received a discount which made my price extremely reasonable. The room had a great spacious bathroom with large Jacuzzi tub, my favorite!

I came to spend a vacation from mexico, I spend 3 nights and I will return again to this place. Jacuzzi rooms are very nice and clean, the owner offers very good service and the place is in very good area and not hear noise, do not wait and book your room, you will not regret!!

In the morning there was NO hot water at all and I HATE cold showers. I booked that room because it has a Jacuzzi tub. Only thing is, it barely works and with no hot water who would care?

Great price for a nice big room with a jacuzzi! Everything was great, no problems, no complaints. Very clean, fast check in, and late check out. Overall, a pleasantly relaxing and enjoyable stay. As all other hotels jacked up prices, this on was the most affordable. Once again you get what you pay for, and your not paying for frills here.

The air-conditioning worked well, but found out it leaked a lot upon waking up and getting out of the bed there was a puddle underneath it. There room looked like there was a fire that took place inside the phone was melted, the shower handle wasn’t even connected, the rod for the curtain of the shower was coming off. There the bathroom door had big cracks on it. The bed had hole in the blankets and the air filter in the air conditioning was filthy, filled with dry stuck gunk. The table looked burnt and the chairs were black when the sides show it supposed to be gray. However, the sheets were clean on the bed.

Very good price & close to the Long Beach airport, so that's a plus! There was a slight leak in the refrigerator but not bad enough to bother us. Wood floors, has a hot tub but didn't use it. I'm not picky when it comes to hotels. As long as its a safe area, clean, no bugs & a/c works.

Room is very clean and safe for me and my son great for being here the staff are super helpful guiding me to my room

From the outside, it looks VERY plain. On the inside, very cute!! I got one of the jetted tub rooms, amazing and clean. They had wine fridges and glasses, full fridge, a bathroom/shower also. Worth the extra money. I'd definitely stay here again. Don't let the area scare you, it was fine. Cons: No breakfast, guy was a jerk at counter checking in and out. Have to run AC or fan bc of traffic noise. But bed was comfortable, maids were amazing, layout was great. Having a taller person in your life, would love the big jetted tub.

Myself and husband LOVE staying at Aspire, the room was clean everything we needed was in the room. Value for money plenty of parking. Staff are available 24/7. Well for starters the rooms are Amazingly huge and bright but can be pitch dark if need be they have a jacuzzi room that’s is all I need at the end of the week grab a bath bomb at the front when you check in ….It was clean and they were not rushing us at checkout and checkout isn’t at the crack of dawn I like to sleep in. What I love the most is that they accommodate us making sure we were comfortable they even moved us to a room that’s better suited us which I thought was awesome I would definitely stay there again !!! There was a couple bad things but a lot of good things getting too bad things out of the way there was no lights on the headboard, then there was no HDMI cable and the TV to the box so I didn't have TV ever but they were so generous and helpful when I checked in I went and bought them an HDMI cable put it on your TV for then and I left it there when I left thank you

We have stayed 5 nights in this hotel. The check-in lady was really helpful as it was our first time in LA, and give us very useful information. Outside there a lot of works in progress, and they are changing the name to Econolodge. But inside it's beautiful, rooms were brand new, and looks like we were their first customers. I would recommend it without doubts!

I liked that could check in late after midnight. Buzzed to wake up the receptionist, who checked me in through a security window Very spacious room Towels old and a bit stained

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in early October. We were warmly greeted bay the front desk staff at check in and went to our room to unload our luggage before going to visit family. The room was large and very comfortable with a king size bed, desk, chair, flat screen TV, sofa and a clean bathroom. Everything was first rate and very comfortable. Breakfast was filling each morning. Our bill at checkout was the same as quoted at the time we made our reservation. No surprises! One morning we forgot to order towels for the room and when we returned late Sunday evening we were surprised to find a clean set of towels already in the room for us. We enjoyed our stay very much and our time with family was memorable. The way it should be. Thank you to Livy and her staff for making our stay relaxing and stress free. We will be back someday soon.

Everything was convenient I felt safe I had my grandkid’s with , restaurants, shopping not far everything in close proximity even if wanted walk , quiet, my stay was due to family member in Kaiser hospital which wasn’t far to get to so the motel environment really helped me, very clean place, staff was friendly and helpful and kind, always greeting you with a smile, and acknowledging when you have left and returned,(your presence ) keep you up the great work!!!

We enjoyed a very nice room with a comfortable bed, great climate control, and a nice living and workspace. The bathroom was large and nice. The room is very large and seating in the room is quite comfortable. The lobby is very nice and has a complimentary full buffet which was very good. There is a wine social in the evening which we did not attend. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is convenient to anything major in Downey. This hotel is quite new and still has a fresh feel.

This was another nice stay at a SpringHill Suites and so much better than the Courtyard we stayed at the nights before. It was set back from the street so not as obvious when driving up. However, its location was convenient with the Stonewood shopping mall across the street. Overall it was a nicely designed hotel. Lobby included the bar and breakfast area. The gym had new and all working matrix exercise equipment including a complete set of dumbbells to 50 lbs. the pool was located outdoors on the second floor above the covered car port. In the room, I was pleasantly surprised to see an in room safe which is not too common on our US travels. The trundle bed had a much thicker mattress than the typical sofa bed pull outs. The bathroom was roomy with a good amount of counter space. However, the bath door was hard to close but at least the shower delivered great water pressure. Breakfast was simple with scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal, fruits, bagels and bread plus yogurts in the mini fridge. Staff was helpful and recognized my Marriott status for the first time this trip. Will return for another stay.

Recently stayed for 5 nights and chose this hotel after reading reviews on comparative hotels in LA (I researched a lot!), which all seemed to be mixed but this looked more consistently positive. I was very happy with the hotel, which I’d class as a strong mid-tier option. Positives - modern and new - room was spacious and clean - location suited us as we had a car to drive around and visit universal, Disney, the coast and West Hollywood (anywhere you go in LA requires a lot of driving and traffic) - plenty of car park spaces - parking rate per night ($12) was very reasonable given many charge $25-50 - room rates seemed competitive and included breakfast - gym and pool options, both clean and modern Negatives Non really, could do with a toaster machine to save queuing for a couple of minutes in the morning and the selection isn’t huge but nothing major. All round a great choice and I’d happily stay again.

Enjoyed a very comfortable one night stay when we attended a show st the adjacent Cerritos Performing Arts Center. It was a two-minute walk across the parking lot-so close thst during intermission we returned to the hotel for a glass of wine and restroom break vs waiting in long lines at the concession stands. Bonus points: An empty cold mini-fridge was in the room for our snacks. The AC unit was making strange noises and an engineer came up quickly to fix it. Great bed-slept very well. You can open the window vents for fresh air. Because the shampoo and body were is strapped to the shower wall, you can’t use it while sitting in the tub. Housekeeping brought up extra toiletries. The buffet breakfast was good and had lots of choices. Extra bonus-the artists from the show were eating breakfast at the same time so we went over to say hello and tell them how much we enjoyed their performance. Walkable to good restaurants abd shops-Wood Ranch BBQ is across the street.

The Sheraton Cerritos is an excellent choice for business travelers and quiet families. This is definitely more of an “upscale” property and was not overrun with sports teams and the like. While there were a few families who were obviously visiting Disney Land, it is geared more toward business and corporate clientele. That is important to me. During our seven-day stay in July 2022, I utilized the pool, restaurant, and gym. All amenities are more than sufficient for my needs. The restaurant has a breakfast buffet for $18. (When you consider that parking is free, $18 is still a good deal as parking at many area hotels runs $25-$30/night.) It’s a great choice and the staff is incredibly welcoming. The front desk staff is accommodating and very friendly. In fact, every single employee we encountered was cordial. Most importantly, the entire property - rooms, lobby, etc. - is sparkling clean. I will absolutely stay at the Sheraton Cerritos again. Highly recommend.

This was in a great location with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and I was actually able to sleep well each night. There is restaurant downstairs. The only meal I ate there was breakfast but the food on the buffet was delicious and there were lots of options. The staff was super nice.

Beautiful, big hotel in the Conference Center courtyard, this Sheraton was the perfect location for our 2 day visit to Cerritos. It is conveniently located next to several restaurants and shopping options and I felt safe to walk 3 miles around the area for exercise. The fitness center is decent, albeit a bit small for a hotel this size. The pool area was nice and I appreciated the comfy chairs and the shade. The lobby is well-appointed and a great place for larger gatherings. Our king room was large and comfortable, clean and everything we hope for in a Marriott property.

The front desk people were very nice. The room was quiet, comfortable. Pool and hot tub were both nice. The breakfast staff were very accommodating. The breakfast buffet had bacon! In general, all the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and valued and helped with whatever I had.

The area is comfortable and the demographic has a nice variety that it feels similar to home (Hawaii). This hotel has alot going for it as it's around 15-20 mins drive to the LAX airport. We mainly looked for a hotel that was convenient to get to the airport but we realised that it had a lot more to offer. Finding a hotel in LA with secure parking is a premium and this hotel offers that as part of their price. On top of that there was also a choice of Japanese or American breakfast that was complimentary. There quite a few place to get food around the area in particular Japanese and Korean. We tried a few places and the Chinese seafood restaurant as well as a bento place across the street is amazing as well as the fresh buns at the mini food court in the Japanese supermarket across the street. Tip: You can get sushi at discount prices late afternoon. Shower was powerful as well as the light heater in the bathroom was amazing. I also love the huge mirror by the sink area as it felt like a separate room from the bedroom and bathroom. Many people have commented on the bidet, so I'm not going to ;) The bed had one of the best mattresses I slept on during my trip! We requested a change in the room as something was not maintained and without hesitation the receptionist kindly found us another room. I think that says a lot about their service as they handled it promptly. It was also amazing that we could get hot and cold water, tea and coffee by the reception area.

It was very clean, comfy beds, nice pressure of the shower (almost like a massage shower head), friendly staff and I felt safe on the property. Also we got free delicious bento dinners every night in leu of breakfast that they no longer serve.

Location was fine for the purpose of my trip. Clean rooms. Nice size; not confining at all. Quiet floor. Very nice and friendly front desk staff; cleaning staff was very nice and accommodating. the breakfast was very good. Restaurant staff provided good and friendly service. Really like the free parking and the secured parking garage. Felt safe and appreciate the security cameras 24/7. The shower had good water pressure.

After previously having such a wonderful time in Long Beach, we knew we had to return to our favorite place to celebrate a special birthday for our mom and grandmother. Over the Fourth of July weekend, we booked three rooms for a party of 12. Two were standard double rooms, which were clean and comfortable, while the third was the Palm Suite—perfect for bringing the whole family together on Independence Day. From the suite’s living room, we enjoyed fireworks and had easy access to the pool and jacuzzi. Later in our stay, we moved to the Regency Suite, which featured a beautiful view of the Queen Mary. The rooms and suites were perfect for our large group, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us with rooms close together. Several family members were celebrating birthdays, including Grandma, and the hotel added thoughtful touches that made the occasion feel extra special. Thanks to our Hyatt Globalist status, we enjoyed complimentary à la carte breakfast at the Market—a great perk. The location is also unbeatable, with easy walking access to local restaurants, a shopping mall, and Long Beach’s Shoreline Village. Another fabulous stay! We're already planning to return over Thanksgiving.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and comfortable. Everyone I encountered—from the front desk to housekeeping—was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. What stood out most was the exceptional customer service. Whether I needed local recommendations, help with my luggage, or just had a quick question, the team was always ready to assist with a smile. It’s rare to find a hotel where the staff genuinely cares about your experience, but that’s exactly what I found here. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and ideally located with stunning views and easy access to downtown Long Beach attractions. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Kudos to the Hyatt Long Beach team for making my stay so enjoyable!

Beautiful hotel, great location. Classy décor throughout. Everything - food, drinks, shopping, beach are walking distance. Staff is genuinely friendly. i give this hotel a big thumbs up, I love this place. Note - the hotel doesn't really face the beach. The even numbered rooms face the main drag, and the marina, with just a peak of the beach/ocean to the left. The odd numbered rooms look toward the city side (no road, maybe quieter?), and have a fuller view of the beach/ocean to the right. I regretted paying to upgrade to the Marina side per suggestion at check in, it was a nice view, but I could hear sirens on the main drag, and I really wanted to see the beach/ocean. The odd numbered rooms have a better view of the beach/ocean if that's important to you. Smaller numbers = closer to beach end of hotel.

We have stayed at this modern hotel before. It is easily located to lost of shopping and restaurant options, including down by the marina. We always get a high floor with a "marina view" which is just spectacular , including views of the Queen Mary and the cruise ships. We even found an enterprise rent a car office nearby to get a car from. Our room was clean and quiet. Our only disappointment was the breakfast food options. They used to have a full service restaurant. That is now only open on Saturday and Sunday but it is now an expensive buffet only. During the week, they have a coffee shop that also has some limited food items, made in advanced and then heated to order. We miss the full service restaurant. Other than that a great place to stay.

The suite is double the size of the standard room and is the ultimate in luxury and comfort. We slept very well for four nights on a huge king size bed. The room was totally quiet and the thick curtains keep the room totally dark for sleeping in. The room has a TV that swivels towards the sleeping early and back towards the couch and dining table. Between the two areas is a large desk top and drawers for clothing. The room has a small, hidden refrigerator and a safe. The bathroom is large, with a separate, deep bath and a shower with two heads, The toilet and sink are separated from the shower and bath by a large glass door. The toilet has a bidet. The sink comes with amenities such as soap, with the shower having body wash and conditioner. In the dining area has high quality teas and two different sized coffee/tea makers. Our room was on the north size, with a view of downtown Los Angeles in the distance. The staff was very responsive to requests. When we could not figure out how to operate the TV, the maintenance person arrived within five minutes of our call. Check in and out was about a minute. We were warmly welcomed. The hotel has a huge free parking lot. We could not have had a more pleasant or more enjoyable experience. This is the finest hotel in the Los Angeles area for comfort, quiet, and luxury for the cost. We have been a guest several times per year for over ten years. It just seems to improve each visit.

Having returned from Japan not too long ago, and all of us suffering from "post-Japan depression," we were really happy to have an excuse to stay at a Japanese-style hotel. It is clear that Japanese travelers are comfortable here, and the whole place certainly reminded us of an excellent hotel we stayed in in Tokyo. It's very clean, the staff is attentive and professional, and we were really happy to have an ofuro bath in the room! The breakfast buffet was reasonably good: perhaps a little pricey at $31 a head, but if you consider that a bit of a premium for convenience and 食べ放題, then perhaps it makes sense. We thought the miso soup was good, the hijiki very good, the homemade granola particularly good; the bacon and sausage surprisingly good compared to most American hotel breakfast buffets. The coffee was not particularly good, but the green tea was very good. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay again.

We experienced Two nights of restful sleep in a very comfortable bed. We stayed on the seventh floor in a room with a shower with a head whose height can be adjusted. The shower also had a 2nd head directly overhead, perfect for a tall person. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and welcoming. They are very responsive to customer requests. The hotel has plenty of free parking. It located near a shopping center with several very good restaurants and a bakery. Inside the hotel is a newly remodeled world class restaurant. We have stayed here numerous times and it continues to be our favorite hotel in the Los Angeles area. In tranquil Torrance, the location is perfect for an extended stay. Whenever we stay here, we feel like we are at home.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We asked to switch to a downstairs room so it's easier for our toddlers and they followed up the following day and helped us with the switch. The room itself was clean. Sheets were clean and the beds were comfortable. I love the convenience of the kitchenette in the room with the stove, microwave, and full size fridge. The bathroom is pretty clean as well and they provide toothbrush and toothpaste along with the usual toiletries. Convenient location right on the PCH with stores and restaurants nearby. There's a little market in the back of the office where you can buy some snacks and goodies. They have free popsicles for the kiddos in the market.

The room was modern and clean. Loved the little extras like toothbrush and shower cap. The manager was very helpful, offering to make coffee for us at night and providing whatever else was needed. It was a 10 minute drive to San Pedro cruise terminal and 5 minute drive to a shopping mall. There are some restaurants within walking distance too.

It exceeded my expectations. The room inside is modern such as a luxury hotel room. The receptionist was polite and super friendly. The location is awesome, there is a Brazilian pizza restaurant nearby and it was delicious. Also, a bus stop in front of this place and it goes to the beach.

Also liked the stylish coat hangers which I used to keep my daypack off the table and floor. Liked having a separate small dining table to keep the food away from the desk which I used for working with my laptop. I didn't use the kitchenette but it next time I will, liked the clean lines of the stove top. Good size refrigerator and microwave. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Also liked the climate control system - was fairly easy to use. The backlit mirror is a very nice touch!

This is a great choice for a Disneyland visit. They let us have early check in from our cruise, to a lovely clean and quiet room. The bistro downstairs offers coupons for some levels of Marriott members. The Lyft ride to Disney (no free shuttle), was around $20 each direction, depending on time of day. Super walkable location to Costco and a variety of eateries right next door as well. I wish there were a shuttle to Disney, and free coffee pots and creamers sitting out downstairs for the early morning dash. Otherwise, perfect choice. There were friendly helpful and overall great. Saves many hundreds a day versus Disney hotel, and you can’t beat what a Marriott delivers for the price. Highly recommend!

I have never needed a warm welcome at a hotel as much as I did in the morning I arrived. Cancelled flights, delays, a night of “sleep” at an airport in Chicago, and dropping my teenager off at camp left me spent. Sarina welcomed me at the front desk with warmth and care. She was friendly, helpful, and got me settled in quickly. From there the staff continued to be helpful and caring. The manager, the Starbucks baristas, the gentleman who took care of the breakfast buffet - all friendly, helpful, and expeditious. Sarina set the tone and everyone else upheld it.

I have stayed at this Marriott Courtyard approximately 10 times for both business and personal travel. I keep returning to this location due to the outstanding customer service and the modern design of the hotel. I have traveled for the last 12 years for work and have stayed at countless hotels throughout the country. But this location has been my favorite primarily because of the friendly & professional staff that consistently goes above and beyond! Special acknowledgements to Mwinji (evening manager?), Italia (front desk staff), and the breakfast and dinner staff. Well done on every level! History Nerds will love it! Yuppies and Trust Fund Kids will hate it... I got some sort of deal for $235 for a weekday night, and a $50 breakfast credit...not too bad! PROS: -An almost authentic historic experience stay aboard a somewhat "Titantic" cruise ship. -Well restored sections of the ship throughout -Observation Bar and the Semi Secret Speakeasy with live music were both fun. -Historic First Class Cabins are actually quite roomy and comfy. Loved the ambience and time travel! -We were here for a Swing Dancing/Lindy Hop event...so fun! -Excellent Breakfast Buffet we used the $50 credit for. -Friendly staff all around. CONS: -It's an almost 100 year old boat! It's going have some quirks, creaks, aches, noises...all of which are expected, even on a modern cruise ship. Fun Fact: RMS Queen Mary was significantly bigger than the RMS Titanic in terms of length, beam, and gross tonnage. The Queen Mary was over 130 feet longer and its gross tonnage was nearly double that of the Titanic. That said, this is probably the closest thing to a Titanic Experience.

Love this historic ship and experience of overnighting on board. The rooms are older but in fine shape. They have kept their history. But since on an older boat, the rooms do not have all the modern luxuries. It was fun to walk around the boat - lots of signage about its history. Wonderful bar that had good drinks and a band - I wish this had been advertised a bit more because we would have stayed longer. But by 9pm when I returned after dinner, the bar was closing. We ate at the one restaurant open on board - after a mix up with who was our server was solved, we had an okay meal. Our appetizers never appeared, but the food was edible and drinks were good — in hindsight, we should have stayed at the bar for dinner. Highly recommend this fun experience and this historic ship/hotel.

It was fun to be on the ship. We loved walking after dinner and looking at the Harbor. This was so much better than just a motel/hotel room. The room was spacious. The portholes opened, so we had fresh air. The bed was comfortable with good sheets. We hosted friends for dinner. The table service was excellent. There was a coffee shop onboard. The bar was active. The views were excellent.

Staying on the Queen Mary was a lifelong dream of mine, ever since my grandparents took me to the Royal Brunch when I was 9. It did not disappoint. It's a beautifully restored historical venue, with the added bonus that it's also a hotel. It's like being allowed to sleep in a museum. Not only that, but the location is fabulous, with a view of the Long Beach skyline and fantastic sea breezes. The art deco bar is gorgeous and the happy hour prices are quite reasonable. We ate at the Promenade Cafe and were quite pleased with our food, especially brunch (just the regular one). There are shops and cool things to see and you don't actually need to do a tour if you are staying there. You basically have access to the whole ship. The staff was kind and accommodating. It was also great to have the family friendly room with a separate bedroom for the kids. Because it's historical, you should expect unique and funky things like no air conditioning and old fashioned plumbing, but that's part of the charm. With the port hole open there was plenty of fresh air and the shower was just fine. I highly recommend staying here if you have any interest in history, ships or art deco design. Fantasic experience!

What a wonderful experience. The Queen is part way to being back to her full glory now that the city of Long Beach have taken her back to manage and maintain. Our room was very comfortable, more space than I had expected beforehand. The ‘em suite is small but that is to be expected. The shower was pretty decent for an old ship. We booked two tours of the ship - the Glory Days and the Engineering one, so good to be able to see the beautiful dining and ball rooms plus the inner workings. Take time to walk about and see what this beautiful ship has to offer. Our only disappointment was the cocktail bar which was too big, too busy and whilst the live band would have been appreciated, they did not need amplification and made conversation impossible. It would be a good idea to to create separate cocktail bar for residents that would be more relaxing

My experience at Studio 6 Carson from check-in to check-out was awesome! Nani and his colleague Simba at the reception were offering exceptional communication and assistance at all times! The entire team from management to house keeping is working together to ensure guests have a care-free stay! Several restaurants, shops, Target, a cinema etc (The Southbay Pavilion) are right across the street! A Starbucks is just a 1 minute walk away. Really good free coffee is available in the hotel lobby every morning until 10 am. My experience in the room matched the description on the website in every way. It was spotless clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Refrigerator with frozen food compartment in the room. Washing machine and dryer contributed to a pleasant stay. Great value for money! I would definitely stay here again!

We were there for 3 nights. There was no elevator, so we had to change our room to the 1st floor. Sheets on one bed and one pillowcase were smudged...not really DIRTY but not perfectly clean. There was not a coffee maker in the room. Also several times i could smell Marijuana in the halls. None of these these things were deal breakers tho. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Room was mostly clean. The price was right, and there were tons of restaurants nearby. I would 100% stay here again.

The hotel has a nice modern look, it was recently updated for sure! I liked the access to the 24 hour snack bar (self checkout) and to coffee + hot water from 6-10am! Check in and check out was easy, staff was friendly and helpful. Microwave and fridge in room, powerful AC unit. WiFi was fast, hot water was immediate, but my toilet did run occasionally.

A area, shopping,food interstate access. No Bkfst, coffee in Lobby 6am. Bath, bar soap only, refer, micro, pool. It’s Motel 2.5. Nice Bed/pillows, quiet A/C. Just need place for Sleep, shower, safe, quiet away most of day? They leave the light on…

The hotel was super clean and the staff was extra welcoming! We stayed only one night andwould stay here again. The bed was comfortable and location was close to restaurants, movie theater, and a mall. There were only two negative things for us: first, was the flooring was loose the floors in the room were not carpeted, second, the walls were very thin and we heard everything from the hallway and other rooms which kept us up throughout the night. But still a very comfortable stay!!

Great hotel - very clean and wonderful staff. We stayed 2 nights. The first night we got in extremely late (~11pm) and the staff was helpful and got us checked in and situated very quickly. Very helpful considering we had a very tired baby. Our room was clean, quiet, and roomy. We got a standard king and were able to fit a pack-n-play and stroller with plenty of room to let him crawl around. We ate breakfast both mornings and the area is so well maintained considering the amount of people that were coming in and out and eating. Also lots of kids, but there was not any mess anywhere! Very attentive staff. My husband also enjoyed the coffee/espresso machine. Staff was so welcoming during our entire stay. From the ladies who cleaned the rooms greeting us as we walked by, the attentive breakfast area staff, to the front desk employees who always helped us with anything we needed. IT IS A GREAT LOCATION. Good walk to the aquarium and pier. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!

My wife and I stayed 4 nights, arriving before 6PM from LAX Airport via Uber($82). The receptionist copied our passports, took the payment with a $200 deposit, presented our key cards, then we took their lone elevator to the 3rd floor. Room #316 was spacious, carpeted and clean with fully outfitted bathroom with glass door shower(rain head needs more pressure), closet, easy chair, comfortable king across a nice TV(guide of 50 channels) and refer below, desk & chair with Keurig, decent lighting, secure wifi, 4 outlets, below window AC with wall control and a window view to a neighboring building. The 6:30AM breakfast buffet was excellent and well serviced with juice/fresh fruit, cereals, eggs, bacon, (Oatmeal alternated with Biscuits & Gravy, with Sausage & Potatoes), a yogurt machine, breads/waffles/buns and a super coffee machine. The hotel has a painted floor courtyard parking leading to 2 levels of underground parking, a 12’ x 28’ indoor pool and a perfect 5 station gym. We walked 1 block to the wonderful Vons supermarket, several blocks to see many art deco buildings from the 20s/30’s and walked 1 mile to the Catalina Express. We had the time to research our return to LAX via the nearby metro train($4.70 for 2 seniors) with 1 transfer and a 2 mile ride on Bus LAX#3.

We went to Long Beach for a festival and decided to stay here because it was close enough to the shuttles, which took us to the venue. The hotel was great. It was very comfy, enough room, and the room had a balcony, which honestly made it that much more awesome. The breeze and sunlight were perfect coming in, and there was minimal noise from the street below. The elevator going to the rooms had a special key, which only allowed you to go to the rooms if you scanned the key first. That added security was nice. In front of the elevators, there was always delicious cold infused water. The complimentary breakfast that came with the room was perfect! Perfect meal and did not have to go out and get food. At night when we would come back. The front sliding doors of the hotel would be shut, and only those that had they key could scan to have them open so that we could go to our room. It was great to know we were safe!

We arrived before regular check-in time and asked to drop off our luggage but our room was ready so they let us check in- so appreciated. The room was not overly big for our family but it was clean and the bathroom was large. It was clean. We walked from the hotel to the beach area - it was a nice walk and took about 30 minutes (walking with kids). The breakfast was good but the dining room was super tiny so it felt very cramped - some of our family we sat in the lobby instead and that was certainly a better option. The pool was really really small and freezing cold (it must not be heated), it didn’t appear very clean, our kids lasted about 5 minutes so that was disappointing considering we book that hotel over another one based on the pool. There is no hot tub. We ate at supper the restaurant across the street - it was really tasty. Overall it met our needs but was nothing amazing.

I was in town for a conference at the Long Beach Convention Center. The location was perfect for being by my coworkers who were at the Westin. I felt safe walking around traveling alone (I walked to the actual Long Beach beach every morning). I also discovered a few great local places on the same block as the hotel - a poke place, and a crepe place. Definitely check out the crepe place, it was epic! The hotel was clean, quiet, and breakfast was awesome with french toast sticks! This was also close to the outlets at Pike street - I saw a movie at the cinemas there.

Breakfast was the best part of the stay. Beds were squeaky. Could've been softer. Loved that the pool/hottub were open till 10. Wished it opened earlier since I'm an early riser and like to get laps in before breakfast

The water on the jacuzzi was cold. The manager said that the water heater didn't not work and all the people kids were so disappointed included my daughter.

I chose to stay here over the DoubleTree because it was close to CSUDH, where I had to go for a work trip. The amenities like the continental breakfast and jacuzzi were awesome, and parking was easy to find. Super close to shopping centers and I was able to get some clothes and supplies I needed last minute from the Target about a mile away. I had some trouble figuring out how to turn the lights on for the pool/jacuzzi area, but there was just a switch labeled "emergency shutoff" by the entrance to turn on. The room and provided linens were nice and clean. I chose a non-smoking room but every time I got on the elevator I could smell heavy cigarette smoke, presumably from other floors. I'm not a smoker so I wasn't the biggest fan of that, but everything else was awesome.

Safe, clean, comfortable motel. Great breakfast, ample parking, polite staff. Came here for a one-night stay for USC graduation event the next day. I arrived late, but staff was attentive and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet.

We absolutely love staying at this hotel! Great place to stay when visiting Disneyland. It’s only a 10 minute drive and the hotel is extremely clean and reasonably priced! The beds are also very comfortable with fresh white linens. We have stayed here several times now and highly recommend it! I take hotel cleanliness very seriously and this hotel is always spotless! The bathrooms are nice and clean with good water pressure. Thank you for providing a clean and inviting place to stay at such reasonable prices!

Desk staff was amazing, housekeeping staff is friendly and courteous. Clean, spacious room. Bed was comfortable. TV worked fine, AC was great. Water pressure in shower was excellent.

The person at check in and check out provided amazing service and were very friendly and nice. Made both super quick and easy. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Very convenient location to Disney and Knott’s as well as stores and freeway. There is a McDonalds in the parking lot which was awesome for breakfast and late night snacking coming back from the parks. My only suggestion would be to add microwaves to the rooms. The fridge was great to have as well to keep items in. Will be coming back again next time!
