The hotel is very convenient to Beale st, downtown and South Memphis. It’s a quiet area between the western end of the Beale st bar strip and the river and there are rooms with nice river views. Rooms are nice with comfortable beds, block out curtains, good AC, good shower and didn’t notice any noise from other rooms. We chose the hotel for the proximity and slight separation to the bars and while there’s a police presence in Beale st, the rest of the city is very quiet and I wouldn’t want to walk any further at night. There’s a car park across the road for $12 overnight so it’s good if you’re driving and while Memphis has a reputation for crime it seemed completely fine to me. I did have LDW on the rental though. Only disappointment was the roof top was closed on Mondays. Not just the bar but access to the roof top so we couldn’t view the bridge lights. No apology when enquired with staff. Pretty poor. Because the hotel is new and it’s a good location the value is OK for the price.

We stayed at the Centric for a college reunion in Sept 25. I selected the Big River Suite and it was outstanding. Exactly what I was looknig for. A large room with a sitting area, and then a walled off bedroom. The shower was huge. The biggest bonus was the view. The living room had a panoramic view of the bridge to Arkansas and the Miss river. The bedroom had a corner view of the pool and the Miss river. Exactly what I was looking for. Negatives were the valet, which absolutely sucked. Took over an hour to get our car but that's on the valet company not the hotel. While there was a cool bar area and sink, absolutely no glasses or bar items which for a suite kinda sucked too. However, I was mostly looking for view and the room had that in spades. Staff was cool too. I would absolutely stay there again and would certainly consider the Big River Suite if I had any friends tagging along.

Great central location on Beale Street and easy walk to River Boats and attractions like the National Civil Rights Museum and basketball stadium. Room a good size. Room and bathroom both nice and clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Quiet for good sleep. Room safe, fridge, coffee in room. Good breakfast options (at a cost). Rooftop and lobby bar and a cafe. Would definitely stay again.

A beautiful modern hotel at the end of Beale street. So close to the bars and restaurants. Felt very safe here. The hotel was so clean and the staff were lovely. Bed was comfortable and shower pressure was very good. We couldn’t fault it. Valet parking was great. The valet was so helpful.

This was a great location for downtown fun! Walking distance to Beale Street and all the night life, restaurants, and museums! The hotel was clean, friendly, helpful staff, and the perfect relaxing room, complete with cozy robes!

The front desk lady, Bri, was super friendly and gave us free breakfast cards when we mentioned it was our anniversary. The lobby was clean and quiet and our room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant located on the lobby floor had delicious food. We will be staying again.

This is our fourth stay, the people are very friendly, and the rooms are very clean. The staff is super accommodating. They have a restaurant with great food and breakfast buffet. Nice bar with refreshing cocktails. Highly recommend staying here.

I have stayed here several times prior. The hotel very nice and well maintained. I believe the rooms are in better condition than my previous stay. My room was very clean - which is very important! Staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast buffet was really good!! One of the better in hotels with good selection. I will return. I recommend this hotel.

It was clean and safe. The staff was very nice and attentive, and the view overlooking the city was just spectacular at night and in the day. That view will keep me coming back to Hilton Memphis

I was thrilled with this hotel. The location is outstanding, and the attached garage was so helpful in the heatwave for keeping our vehicle cool while providing easy access to the hotel itself. Based on other reviews we requested a room NOT overlooking Beale Street, and it was super quiet! We slept very well. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I thought the security was good (an important consideration in crime-ridden Memphis). For example you needed a room key to get into the restrooms or elevators. Many wonderful venues are walking distance from here and the ones that aren't require only a short drive. Everything was clean and well-kept and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was good, although the blaring televisions were a bit annoying. EVERYONE has a mobile device in their pockets these days and if they want to watch the morning news, they can certainly do so with headphones. The rest of us shouldn't have to be subjected to the latest terrorist attack or whatever when we haven't even had our coffee yet; the breakfast staff refused my request to turn down the TV volume when I asked. So I recommend getting your breakfast and taking it up to your room.

Great hotel in a very central location. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful but it was the employee working at breakfast who was outstanding; she was attentive to each and every guest, full of fun and a great host! The free breakfast was an absolute bonus. We requested a higher floor due to potential noise from Beale Street and given a room on a high floor with an amazing view (see pic). Rooms were big with coffee machine, fridge and great sized bathroom. We didn't use the pool or gym. Would highly recommend.

Location couldn't have been more perfect, Beale street with all the activities was located right behind the hotel. Parking garage was safe and secure, plenty of space available. Room was clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet for the location. Breakfast was good with both hot and cold items available and breakfast staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and cheerful.

We just completed our stay and from the moment we arrived until we checked out we experienced nothing but friendly, helpful service from very pleasant employees, including front desk, breakfast and cleaning staff. A Nd the location was great - walking distance to so many of the top attractions and only 15 minute drive to Graceland! A special shoutout to the breakfast crew Angela, Ashley and Tammy - friendly and professional, sparkling clean area and delicious food!

The hotel and surrounding area are both amazing. The room was amazing, it was clean and cozy, the bed was almost perfect, the noise given the area was not bad at all. The best part was the balcony over looking the city. The veiw was spectacular, and it made for an amazing chill spot!!

I'm so impressed with my recent hotel stay! The location was perfect, and the hotel itself was even better than I'd hoped. The rooms were spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Truvea, was very welcoming upon our arrival. Just a wonderful beginning of our overnite. Our room was perfect. Such great bedding, plus, great space. Huge tv screen… plenty lighting… great bathroom, tub & shower… just a great relaxing room. Also, thank you to Donneta our breakfast server. She was attentive & soooo friendly. Thanks for taking our picture, you’re the best….check out with Truvea was also perfect, she really made us feel welcome, just like family,,,,she was perfect!!! Your staff was fabulous. I really enjoyed the hotel services at the SpringHill suites, downtown Memphis, Tennessee. The customer service was very helpful, warm and friendly. This hotel property is very convenient for me and my family because you are right in the heart of Downtown Memphis. I love how we were close to every dining restaurants, live music venues, and historic sites. Also I love how every place you go is 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. I love how the staff workers gave the best customer service support and it was very professional. Also I want to thanked house keeping staff for providing fresh towels, fresh washcloths and keeping our room fresh and clean. I highly recommend anyone who is visited Memphis, Tennessee. I would suggested this hotel location in downtown Memphis.

Good location in reach of main shopping, bars and restaurants, with car parking nearby. Nice sized, clean, comfy, room with great facilities. Excellent staff, assisting where possible to ensure the stay is more than satisfactory. Their knowledge of the area was very helpful. Everyone was very friendly throughout the premises and made you feel comfortable. Range of breakfast items and choice of coffee was nice.

This is a great location to stay for Downtown Memphis being at the top end of Main Street - near enough for easy walking to most attractions but far enough away from the noise of Beale Street. The facilities at the hotel are good. We stayed in a king suite (bed is superking to Brits). Very comfortable. Huge tv mounted on wall which could be angled to watch when on the sofa or in bed. Small kitchen area with microwave & fridge was handy. Very clean rooms which were cleaned daily. Super friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that let this hotel down was breakfast - there was a reasonable choice (would have liked more hot choices) from a self serve buffet. The main let down for me was the plastic cutlery, cups & plates. Obviously done to save on staffing/cleaning, but did not make for a good dining experience and definitely not recylced - everyone put food waste & the plastic into one bin. This did not however spoil out stay and we would definitely stay there again. Hotel also feels very safe. We did not have time to use the pool or hot tub but it was small and looked very clean.

I was a little apprehensive having read recent reviews but we had an excellent stay. A very warm welcome and easy valet parking. Room was comfortable and clean. Good shower and daily housekeeping on request. Very good breakfast with a lot of choice and, again, very friendly and helpful staff. Ideally situated with a tram stop outside the rear entrance of the hotel but also walkable to Beale Street.

Reggie at the front desk was outstanding! Not only was he friendly and took the time to explain the amenities of the property, he also took time to show us around parts of the property. The rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet. Breakfast was okay, but the staff were all incredibly attentive and friendly. I would Def barely stay here again. 5/5 stars.

The Canopy is ideally located across the street from Redbird Park and the Peabody (go see the ducks). The decor is well-maintained with a 70s/Frank Lloyd Wright vibe - browns, oranges, gold. The rooms are spacious and clean and there is good storage. The reasons I didn't give a 5/5 are (1) the restaurant breakfast (you pay for) offers only full heavy breakfasts. No cereal or just a bowl of fruit or piece of toast. They were also out of bacon and orange juice for both mornings we were there. Someone forgot to do inventory before the weekend. (2) This is a Hilton problem in general - the shower head puts out a "spring shower" stream. I know that's to save water but anyone with hair has to take twice as long to wash& rinse. Also no mirror over desk so two of us were trying to share one small area to do makeup and shave. (3) This is a Memphis problem - there are drag races with very loud mufflers in the streets all night long. Not just the Canopy, our friends at the Marriott down the street had same issue. Not sure what the hotel can do about it except band with other area hotels to put pressure on the police to stop it. Throw a few tack strips down on random nights and pull some licenses. Overall, I would stay here again - clean, nice, great location.

Clean and modern with a subtle musical theme. I had a conference at Peabody across the street and this was more reasonable pricing. I'm glad we stayed here because it was new and clean, the shower was nice and the room was roomy. The service had a bit of attitude from one person at the desk, and the restaurant/bar service was nonexistent, although once we got a drink from the bar, it was good. The coffee shop was OK but I was disappointed the lattes came out of an automatic machine. I would definitely stay here again based on the location and nice rooms.

Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Having a smart tv was convenient when we came home to relax after a long day before heading out again for dinner. The staff were friendly. They had a water leak while we were there and had to turn the water off for a short time, but it was dealt with in a satisfactory time and guests were offered a free drink at the bar for the inconvenience which we appreciated. I think the staff dealt with what must have been a stressful situation very well.

The check in was amazing. Daisy on the front desk was one of the most welcoming, helpful and friendly people you could wish to meet. She is a big asset to Hilton. Again the gentleman on evening reception was amazing. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast staff were absolutely fantastic.

We loved the layout and decorations in the hotel. All staff members were exceptional — friendly and extremely helpful. Bar service was great and the waitress was such a gem! The room was very comfortable, quiet; temperature was consistent and the room and bathroom sparkled.

Your staff is so friendly and helpful. We had three people check on us during breakfast. Security was seen several times during our stay. Room was clean and well lit. Loved all the hot options for breakfast and the hours for breakfast. Made the stay more enjoyable.

Everything was excellent. There's a coffee machine as you walk in which grind and makes coffee. Breakfast was also excellent with eggs potatoes bagels, bread, pancakes fruit and cereal. Staff is friendly and responsive. Room was very clean and plenty of hot water. The only issue we had was Internet access was intermittent so the staff will contact the provider. Great and convenient location 12 min to Graceland.

This is our second stay at this hotel. We loved it so much we had to go back! The staff are so amazingly friendly! Zee, who does the breakfast is phenomenal. Not only is the breakfast delicious, she is extremely friendly. Her biscuits and gravy are the best!! I loved chatting with her at breakfast. This hotel will be our go to in Memphis.

Our room was clean. The amenities were great. Breakfast was awesome. Our chef was Chemell & her breakfast was awesome! Our location was convenient to where we were going. Everything went great! Memphis in March, - The rooms are great,the pillows are fluffy, the breakfast and morning staff are amazing. Zee is bright cheery, and just amazing! She is so welcoming to eveyone. The hotel is clean, there is always a friendly staff ready to help.

This was a fantastic suit for a family of 5. A separate room with 2 queen beds, large changing/sink area with closet and a separate living area with pull out and full kitchen. After 4 fun days touting the area it was a great quiet night rest. Full breakfast and happy hour with food and cocktails. The staff were so friendly! It was a beautiful and safe area in East Memphis, it had a Hibachi type restaurant across the street but everything else needed a rude to. Uber/Lift to Beale St was about $40. I would go back!

The location is very convenient, close to the Highway 240 exit and the main street Poplar in Memphis. The Central Barbeque restaurant is less than 5 minutes away from driving. The room is big and quiet with a nice kitchen. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is a good size and the shower is super good. We will stay here again next time.

Clean and Well kept up kitchen / room. Friendly and helpful staff. Maintain pool daily it was very clean just like the gym room. Very cozy stay and quiet. I will use and recommend them again very satisfied.

This hotel is a great quiet, clean, comfortable stay in the heart of the east part of Memphis. It is very close to several delicious BBQ places, and right across the street from the Hilton convention hotel. Security patrols the parking lot at night, but I never felt like I or my belongings were in any danger even if they weren't there. It was in the 100s every day, but my room stayed cool and comfortable. The bed was great. I was there several days, so having a full refrigerator and stove top was very handy when reheating all that local cuisine.

Loved the compact but adequate kitchenette, bathroom was not cramped. Bed so comfortable that I actually took the sheet off the bed to look for a label so I could buy that kind of sheets. Breakfast had good options - eggs and bacon, yogurts, canned fruit, some fresh whole oranges and green or red apples, cream of wheat with a few toppings, make-your-own mini waffles, bagels, pre-packaged muffin, 4 kinds of Minute Maid juice, coffee, boiled eggs. We enjoyed it so much, we are looking for a Staybridge in the next city we will have to stop in

The rooms were very clean, the beds were so comfortable & plenty of pillows for everyone. The staff was amazing. They were so helpful & accommodating. They offered a free shuttle to & from Graceland which was great. They also have a friendship with a restaurant a mile down the road that offered a ride to & from in a pink Cadillac limo. What a blast. Lastly the hotel breakfast was fantastic. Such delicious food & Miss Duffy was the best. She was such a a beautiful person to chat with & made sure we all had what we needed for breakfast. I would highly recommend a stay here when you come to town.

Not long returned home after spending 7 night here during Elvis week with my two children. There are many good things to be said about this hotel from the handy location to the great quality breakfast, the cleanliness of the rooms and the fabulous pool but the main thing that impressed me here were the exceptional staff. Tara the manageress went out of her way to be incredibly helpful, friendly & accommodating. She seemed very happy in her role and I enjoyed every conversation I had with her. She is a great credit to the IHG group. All of the other staff members we encountered were also very friendly, polite and proficient in their jobs from the front desk staff to the sweet lady who works in the breakfast area and the great housekeeping staff. They are running a very professional operation here and it made our stay an absolute pleasure. Thank you to all of you & we hope to come back next year.

The hotel staff was very nice and the breakfast was good. The pool was very clean and the area around the hotel, a part of the hotel, was well maintained. However, the area outside of the hotel area felt unsafe and there was nothing to do. You could walk to Graceland if you're a walker, but both the traffic and location felt dangerous. This is no fault of the hotel itself, however, and I felt very safe in the hotel area. The room was clean and comfortable, though the hall (2nd floor) had a funky, dirty water smell. It looked very clean, however, and there were no complaints at all in the room. It’s a reasonably priced hotel close to Graceland.

The location is perfect. Its walking distance from Graceland. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The room was spotless. We used the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in both New Orleans and Memphis during our roadtrip. On both occasions they were absolutely spotless and our rooms were very comfortable. They will be our goto accommodation on future trips. Very happy with our room . Breakfasts were just perfect for our needs. Very happy here.

Spacious room with king size comfy beds. Nice big bathroom. Everything was super clean. Breakfast very good with healthy options. Safe parking in the rear of the hotel. Walking distance to Graceland. Easy to get on the Memphis highway system to go see sights like National Civil Rights Museum and Beale Street. Marlowe’s - a well known BBQ restaurant - is also close by.

The front staff members were very friendly and professional, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Also, the hotel was located in a safe area and provided convenient parking. I will continue to return to this hotel for my stay in the area.

Staff at East Memphis Double Tree by Hilton go above and beyond. From our first contact via phone with Valerie, the drivers of the complimentary shuttle bus and then at check-in with Precious. During our 3 night stay Precious also provided knowledgeable information on all our inquiries and was an absolutely delightful to deal with. All reception staff very pleasant and very approachable. The rooms were spacious and clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. Attractive pool area was within view from our room. When we had TV issue we had a knock on our door within 5 mins. After trying hard to resolve the issue, we were offered a room swap. They really do aim to make guests feel at home. The location was perfect for us and within a short walk to a large whole foods supermarket where you can also purchase freshly cooked dishes. From this location we drove to Graceland and The Pyramid. Highly recommended.

Doubletree Hotel East went above and beyond to make our event one of the best ever! Everyone was so friendly and attentive! Our High School Carver Class of 1965 Alumni booked three event rooms for our four day 60th Class Reunion. We highly recommend this hotel 10 of 10. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating at all levels. It was truly a pleasure to interact with each of them. The Sales Manager, Ms. Sherry Goldberg, arranged our reservation room blocks and offered us valuable personal assistance. Ms. Karen Smith, the Catering Sales Manager, was always available and did an amazing job to make each event memorable. Mr. Frank headed the catering service team who was the best of the best. They made us feel like royalty with service beyond expectations. We were very pleased to have chosen this hotel. We award them five Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! KUDOS to DoubleTree!!!

Staff was friendly and helpful, only issue was we paid for breakfast when we booked and didn’t know we needed vouchers to redeem the breakfast . So a bit of a confusion but staff was so helpful to resolve the issue .

Great location. Shops and restaurants in walking distance. Clean room and comfortable bed. The in house restaurant and bar makes long days easy to relax without having to leave the hotel. And the customer service is excellent and recommend this hotel.

This hotel was terrific from start to finish. I was greeted by two front desk employees as I entered (one was a trainee). They were friendly, courteous and attentive. They were quick to get me checked in, advised me about their bistro hours and where to park (secured lot). They were so good at their jobs that when I came down for a quick bite a couple of hours (and no doubt several check-ins) later, they remembered me and called me by my name. They were emblematic of every employee I met. To a person, they were empowered to do their jobs and professional to the core. The room was amazing, spotlessly clean and spacious. The bed was comfy, if you like soft beds, the pillows were heavenly and there were enough towels and wash cloths to meet all my needs and then some. Best of all, there was a nice sofa with an attached combined ottoman/table. It’s hard to describe but it was so nice to sit there with my feet up while I ate my dinner from the lobby bistro. The only negative was the WiFi was a bit spotty. That may be because there were some wicked storms the day prior to my stay that messed with their power for awhile. Even the front desk computers were being temperamental. I’ve stayed at other brands within the Bonvoy family. Not one, even a flagship, impressed me as much as this one did.

I stayed at this property from March 1st to March 5th. I had a great stay!!! Amazing people, I have to recognize Antonio & Velma at the front desk!! Not to mention, the shuttle drivers, all so personable and friendly!! The bed was so comfortable, the front desk was so accommodating with bringing me extra pillows, etc. They even went out of their way in between airport pickups to drop me off at Graceland and a nearby restaurant. I felt safe and secure the entire time, and I have never been to Memphis. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks again!!! You rock Antonio!!!! I'll be back!!!

This was an outstanding stay! First off, the staff is so kind and welcoming, helpful and responsive! The room was as close to spotless as a room can be, everything was operable including the door locks, appliances, thermostat, shower, sink, toilet, etc. Our room was perfect for two parents (king sized bed) and a kiddo (sofa bed). The only con was our room faced the highway, so there was road noise. The hotel cannot prevent this, so it’s just informational.

I had a lovely evening and night. Room and bed very comfortable. Food selections good. Relaxing outdoor seating. My truck was full and I felt comfortable because of locked gated parking lot and night guard. Exceptionally clean. Had a nice chat with the manager who made me feel welcome.

This hotel is always a great choice. It is clean, comfortable, and convenient. The front staff is so helpful, and the shuttle drivers are courteous to and from the airport. It's also nice to have a food option/grill on the premises with good food.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and in great condition. Beds were comfortable, and our rooms were near each other as we asked. Despite being fairly full, the floor was very quiet. Valet parking was convenient and the Valets were kind and helpful.

Property is clean and in a nice quiet area near the University of Memphis. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is not within walking distance of any restaurants but they do have their own restaurant available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Will definitely stay there again.

The Holiday Inn at University of Memphis is the perfect location for all the great things Memphis has to offer! It’s an easy drive to downtown, the Edge district, and activities in east Memphis like the Botanic Garden. There are lots of great food options like RP Tracks and Brother Juniper’s an easy walk across campus. Or hop onto Poplar or Central and be at some of the best restaurants in Memphis in under 10 minutes. Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Even though the rooms are a bit run down (our shower curtain was torn in a couple places,) it’s a great place to stay for the price. Safe and very convenient.

Great location to Sun Studios and Beale Street. Comfortable and quiet room. Free car parking. Free coffee at the lobby. Restaurant was actually in the lobby far too small limited seating. Staff too keen to clear away the breakfast well before 9 am. Receptionist were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Although this is an older style hotel, I think they do a good job with what they have to work with. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable . I thought the staff was friendly and helpful. We felt safe here despite some reviews indicating it might not be. We walked to the entertainment district and back without any problems but it may be too far for most people. The breakfast was adequate. Our only complaint was that the Ice machine was unplugged and there wasn’t any ice for our drinks. They only have one ice machine so that was frustrating. I feel we got good value for the price we paid.

This was a convenient location, easy parking, close to everything we wanted to see and do in Memphis. The room was nice, quiet, comfortable, safe. Great breakfast and well maintained.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The hot breakfast bar was a perfect start to each morning, offering plenty of options, and I enjoyed the extensive cable channels available on the TV. My room was spotless, and everything worked perfectly, making for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience; they even helped receive my Amazon packages, handling them with care. The location is ideal, especially if you're looking to explore the area. It’s conveniently close to the Interstate and just about a mile’s walk to Downtown and the Waterfront. It’s a scenic and easy stroll to Beale Street and Sun Studio, and Minglewood Hall is also just a mile in the opposite direction. Overall, a great place to stay for anyone wanting comfort, convenience, and excellent service!

The coffee machine and breakfast was very good. The lady running breakfast was friendly. The beds were comfortable. The room was pretty large and parking was good. There were some maintenance shortfalls: the handle on the toilet was broken and the shower handle was broken. It just needs a bit of TLC.

This hotel was perfect for our family trip to the Liberty Bowl. The location is easy access to good restaurants and the interstate and is in a safe area. The hotel was very clean and unlike other reviews, we absolutely did not think it was “tired” or “run down”! The front desk was extremely pleasant and accommodating in my moment of panic, specifically Kris, who helped me at 12:30 am the day of arrival when our first hotel gave us very late notice that it was closing due to a water issue. Kris made sure we had adjoining rooms with our kids and even put us on the top floor, away from the elevators…exactly what we asked for, even though the hotel was fully booked! The rooms were clean and updated; the hotel overall was very quiet although it was at full capacity; we loved having the small balcony area; the room had a mini fridge, although it wasn’t listed on the amenities, which was a nice surprise; the closet is very large; and the bed was very comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I am not a fan of the “add on fees” when staying. “Breakfast available” to me isn’t an overpriced Starbucks. $7/night extra to park my car? Really? Guess they need to pay for the added security in the area as there were marked security vehicles at this and almost every other strip mall, restaurant, and hotel in the area. Place was clean, shower was good, beds were not cupped or used and abused. Overall good place.

This hotel looks to have been recently renovated. The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everything is clean and smells fresh throughout the hotel. Parking is secure and it was a really quiet place to stay. The sofa seating area and small patio in our room were really appreciated touches. The weather was so nice in Memphis this weekend that we used the screen door and enjoyed the breeze when we were in the room. The bathroom was nice too, if the shower was a little narrow. Our only complaint was the mattress. I know this is subjective, but neither of us slept well because it was so uncomfortable.

The staff was amazing. I don't think I've ever encountered such friendly service. I checked in an hour or so early and the receptionist was so nice. I came in a side door and the maintenance/cleaning staff held the door for us. The lady in the cafe was super nice too. Everything was great. The hotel was clean and very nicely remodeled. The pool and courtyard was very nice. I had an exterior facing room. If I were staying longer it would have been nice to have a room on the beautiful courtyard. There was a train out my sliding door but it didn't bother me. It was a nice area too. I walked to a restaurant for dinner.

I've been bringing my family here for years to swim and the property is clean and safe. Pool is very comfortable and clean. They provides clean towels for the pool. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable. Very close to the casino for us grown people after a great day at the pool. See y'all soon. The breakfast is good, filled the kids and us adults.

Regular guest here while visiting friends in Memphis, better than staying in Memphis itself, perfect location, only 10 minutes drive from downtown Memphis and you get a great view of the Mississippi as you cross over the bridge. Use the back road to get onto the interstate , it's safer than going diectly onto it by the front service road. I used the mobile check-in to save time at the desk. Nice comfortable hotel, always clean and nice to stay in. Room was nicely cooled off on a scorching hot day. Very clean room, only snag the desk light switch was bust, but after contacting the front desk the repair guy was there in 5 minutes, and replaced with a new lamp, so 5 stars for service. No fridge in the room, which would be handy in such a hot climate as Memphis, pleanty of space for one. Wifi was still pretty slow like last time, 6 Meg, but did the job, I know some hotels have 300 Meg wifi now off 5G feeds, so no excuse really. Overall happy to recommend for a short stay.

My first stay here while visiting friends in Memphis from England. I had seen some negative reviews of this motel , but noted the owners responses, so I booked it for my stay, and not dissapointed. Very nice hotel, right on the main I-40 to Memphis. Loads of eating places and stores a short distance away. Met by a very nice charming lady at the check-in desk, made you feel a welcome guest. Nice room 229. Very clean and cooled off on a very hot day . Good TV with plenty of channels. LOVELY hot shower in a nice bathroom , really enjoyed that after driving all day. Shower instructions on the wall, nice idea. Wifi a rck solid 28 Meg, very easy login. Good nights sleep, NO traffic noise from I-40. Only missed not having a fridge for cold drinks on a hot day, otherwise still happy to recommend. Just a tip, use the back road over the highway to get to on I-40 to Memphis, its safer than joining the highway outside the hotel.

The property was perfectly located near Beale Street and the walk to and from was safe, well lit, and had a lot of great shops. we even walked the riverwalk on the way to Beale street. It was beautiful. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The valet parking was convenient and my car we not damaged. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review would be that the tiles around the hot tub (on the 2nd floor) were very unstable and wabled when you walked on them making you feel very unsure of walking on them to get into and out of the hot tub. (which was amazing otherwise) Also, the entrance to the parking was blocked when we arrived and no signs telling us how to navigate the 1 way streets and get to an alternative entrance were posted anywhere. I understand building maintenance is needed and would not have affected my review otherwise. All in all I would highly recommend this property!

I recently had occasion to stay at CROWN PLAZA HOTEL in Memphis when going there to play a bridge competition with our team mates from Greece, Italy and France. The HOTEL whilst looking a bit tired from the outside, was bustling with charm and energy on the inside. An exceptional buffet breakfast greeted us everyday in the dinning room with the smiling and warm servers more than happy to meet and greet us with fresh coffee and good cheer. The rooms were clean and spacious too but it was the attitude of the staff, working as a team that would make me want to return. The manager Stephany was gracious and adept at running the ship shape organization. I take my hat off to this establishment.

This is a great hotel to stay at for an event at the convention center, which is about a block away. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. They have a free shuttle service that will take you anywhere within 3 miles and pick you back up when you call, which is great since there is not all that much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. One night we took the shuttle to Beale St. for dinner and live music and back, and it was very convenient. The room and linens were very clean, and the buffet breakfast was nice to have (if a bit pricey). I would definitely choose to stay here again!

The hotel is clean with a friendly staff members. The hotel has added an extra charge now for seaurity to patrol the parking lot; especially with all the crime that has happened. We felt safe at night in the parking lot. The room is large, and clean with good air conditioning. the breakfast is plentiful, hot, and good. No problems noted. We stay here a lot and will continue too.

My wife and I stayed for two days in Mid March… GREAT: The people- Dentria was amazing and super helpful at the front desk. Anything we needed during our stay she handled…ABSOLUTELY the BEST! 5 stars to her Good: Room was clean, spacious and we got a 1 BR suited with separate living room and kitchen for the3 same price as an all in one room in Bentwood in Nashville (which was a great stay) Decent: Air condition had a hard time regulating temperature. Did not cool very well General cleanliness was decent on the hotel, not great but not brilliant Poor: The website advertises a breakfast. This does not exist. Long since discontinued. One of the luggage carts has a shredded wheel and is practically useless. Why they have not fixed this I do not fathom..it’s cheap to do and very helpful to guests Final thoughts: If the ownership or management of this particular hotel is not going to reinstate the food serve and fix the little issues then at LEAST I hope they take all the money they are saving on food and pay employees which specifically would mean Denetria better. She sure earns it and makes what would be an otherwise decent but unremarkable stay a truly rewarding experience!

We stayed here one night on a trip through. We had a queen suite in the main building. The unit was very pretty and modern and was clean. The hotel was quiet, too. Breakfast and coffee in the morning was grab and go. The full kitchen and gated parking was nice. The hotel got 4 stars because the key cardre readers were sketchy and I had to run the keys several times before they would catch. Also, the pull out couch was newer, but the bedding pack only came with one pillow and we had two kids (my spouse opted to go without her pillow since they said we only got 1). The kitchen only had plates and utensils for two (we were a party of four). And only two towels. The pool was closed "for the year". Lastly, the tub was leaking from the bottom and there was missing paneling on a wall of our hallway looks like something got damaged, ripped off and not repaired yet). Overall, these little things were small annoyances compared to the nice and large suite we had.

There Was No Breakfast.....This is One Of The Much Needed For Guests That Is Lacking However The Room Provided A Home Away From Home Facilities That Enable Guests To Prepare Their Own Meal.My Most Memorable Was The Friendly Manner In Which I Was Greeted By The Front Desk Lady And Additionally The Continuation And Assistance From Mr. Delorian And The Manager Mr.Dan. The Hotel And It's Surrounding Was Very Clean Inside And Outside.

We booked a 2 night stay in a room with a roll in shower. When we got there about 10pm we checked in and went to our room. The room did not have a roll in shower. So we went to the desk and told the girl that we booked a room with a roll in shower. She swapped our rooms and we went to the new one. It still wasnt the right room but we were exhausted so we just said forget it. The next day we went sight seeing and later in the day we recieved a call that our kid was sick back home. It was well after chevk out time so i assumed we wouldnt be able to get a refund. We asked anyways and the lady at the desk that day was very nice and gave us our refund back! So even with the slight room misshap, our stay was good. The hotel breakfast was by far the best part! They had omelets, breakfast potatoes, maple sausage, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt and juice and hot coffee. It was delicious!

Nice and quiet. The staff was pleasant and helpful. My room was clean and most importantly, the bathroom was clean. Newk’s Deli is next door and there are plenty of other restaurants nearby. All in all, I would recommend considering this place if you’re visiting.

Room was clean, comfortable bed, bathroom was nice. Had problems with the tv but friendly staff quickly fixed. Door needed some maintenance to close properly but felt safe. Common areas were clean and well stocked. Was double charged for pet deposit but, again, friendly staff fixed quickly. I do recommend!

First I will say that the staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. From the front desk staff to maintenance, everyone was very pleasant and willing to help with anything. The room was very comfortable and had plenty of space for a 3 night stay. I enjoyed the in-room kitchen and the bed was fairly comfortable. There was a nice long desk in the room that could also work as a table to eat at. I also enjoyed use of the free laundry facilities. The gym had enough equipment and space to get a good workout in. They were replacing the carpets so I can’t hold the crowded hallways, noise and smell against them, but it was a little inconvenient to have to crawl over the workers and their things every time I left the room. Now for the negative: the room was not the cleanest. There were half drunk coke bottles in the fridge. The sheets had what looked like cigarette burns on them. Upon check in there was only one towel and one washcloth in our room. Most of the towels given to us were pretty stained over the course of our stay. The lounge chair in the room was so badly stained I did not feel comfortable sitting in it. I am not a clean freak by any means but I do expect sanitary, clean conditions when staying at a hotel. The elevator often wreaked of weed. The location felt safe, and overall I enjoyed our stay! I just wish they could give the rooms a good deep cleaning, perhaps shampoo the carpets and chairs.

We enjoyed our stay! The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was nice having a full-size refrigerator to put all our road trip snacks and drinks in. The only criticism I have (aside from my daughter’s disappointment that they didn’t have a pool…lol) is that there was no water pressure at all for the shower. We’ve already booked this hotel again for our return trip home!

I really liked our stay for 2 nights. The only thing is this is the first hotel that I've stayed at that does not have a continental breakfast. They do have some snacks for sale and cereal for purchase but bring milk if that's what you like. The Staff were great the whole time i was there. Of coure i picked on them for fun to get them laughing at me and thats what I like in a place. I did not run accross a stuck up person like some hotels at all. I so highly recommended this hotel and state it is a safe place to stay. Just make sure you understand you will have to go somewhere else for breakfast.

I stayed here on vacation for 4 days and honestly the staff was very understanding and accommodating. Breakfast was great every morning and on time. The cooks were very attentive and helpful if it was a meat choice you preferred instead of what was being served. The pool was nice and clean and beautiful. Fitness area was clean and nice. My room was great and room service was very nice and accommodating as well. Most definitely will be coming back here when I visit Memphis again.

Ok so I’ve stayed here a few times. Initially me and the attendant had a slight language barrier and the manager is brought in and he is very quick and explains that they want me to be welcome and that’s why he called so he can help. Now this happened the last two times I’ve stayed here but they are cool once the ice is broke and it’s also a neighborhood where they are afraid too. I enjoy that the rooms inside are very well decorated, my daughter pointed a few stains on the bedding and pillow cases which we usually travel with blankets and besides the few stains everything else was clean. I love that the rooms have couches and different layouts! My daughter loved the gamer setup style layout the room we had displayed. I lived in this area so I’m ok with it but if your not from in town it is quiet but you want to be back in before dark or not out walking and be careful when getting rides alone. Overall I enjoy my stay and they are helpful there is a $50 deposit and it is returned at checkout so plan for that.

Spacious, very clean, comfortable room and furnishings. Practical, good size refrigerator. Easy and secure parking space. Excellent customer service. Facial renovation is currently is process, but there was no inconvenience and didn't effect my stay. Looking forward to see it's completion. Would only recommend a baggage cart in lobby, for transporting guest luggage from vehicle to guest room. Good Luck ! Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Had a very pleasant stay. My room was clean and bed was very comfortable to sleep in.I had to miss breakfast because I had to be at work at 6am. If I need another hotel to stay American Best will be the first to be booked.

This hotel was amazing , from the free Elvis themed shuttle bus from the airport to the tastefully decorated hotel. The rooms were beautiful and lots of attention to detail. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast although not cheap was beautiful and all you can eat for a set price. The drinks at the bar were expensive and typical of hotels . We loved our stay and it all added to the fantastic Elvis experience . Would definitely stay here again if we ever get to return to Memphis again .

Overall, my stay was good, especially for the price. The room was clean and it was quiet despite the room being near the airport. When I called the front desk to inquire about how to work the shower and the WiFi connection the staff was very polite and helpful. However, this is my second stay at this hotel and I brought my own towels this time because the large towels they have in the room are still very small. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

We booked this based on price and proximity to Graceland but had no idea where it was located before we arrived. We were really pleased that it was relatively quiet even though it was near the airport, was very clean and most important, very comfortable beds! Even though the decor was a little old it was clean, roomy and had everything we needed. No complaints.

Here at Colonial Inn everything has changed very fast. New ownership is making upgrades and better conditions on a daily basis. You should like the new staff, they are helpful polite and friendly. Yes, I admit it was rough when I arrived. This is not the best part of Memphis but it's convenient and centrally located. I came here on day one of the new management. Unpleasant issues were wiped out almost immediately. Even the cleaning crews were changed. I'm a business traveler and have been treated like royalty on my one month stay. I'll gladly return here when traveling through the area again.
