One of the best rooms we have ever stayed in, and at a reasonable price as well !!!

The hotel is located a little bit outside of Brugge, in rural surroundings. When we arrived, we got the most warm welcome I had in years. We were offered a drink and something to eat. The room was amazing, with a four poster bed and a jacuzzi. When I asked for two glasses of Kir Royal, the owner went out of his way to organise a bottle of Prosecco, served in a bucket with ice, and he found a bottle of creme de cassis as well. This allowed us to make our own kir Royal in our room. We had a totally unexpected, most romantic evening in a great place where we definitely will return.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la patronne de l'hôtel, qui nous a recommandé un excellent restaurant à Oostende. L'intérieur de l'hôtel est décoré de façon originale, avec d'anciens alambics et une collection de moulins à café dans la cuisine. Les chambres sont également très originales, certaines avec des lits à baldaquin. Elles ont beaucoup plu aux enfants. Une des salles de bain possédait une baignoire-jacuzzi. Le petit-déjeuner est "royal", avec des produits locaux comme le fromage, le jambon à l'os et les confitures maison. Nous avons pris le petit-déjeuner dans la belle véranda, qui donne sur la campagne environnante. Que du bonheur.

We chose De Stokerij because overnight parking in Ostend itself seemed tricky, and it was a very good choice. Oudenburg is a small village in peaceful countryside, halfway between Ostend and Bruges. Ingrid and Jan are very friendly and helpful, instantly switching betweeen several different languages, and providing useful maps and tourist guides, free wifi, and even use of their laptop. They are clearly very busy smoking their own ham and salmon, baking bread, and making jam - all of which you can taste at the excellent buffet breakfast. We didn't eat at the restaurant, which is not open every day; a meal there is a set price of €37, which is not mentioned on their website. We arrived on a Monday, which is the day that all the other local restaurants close, but Ingrid directed us to a bar a few minutes drive away which served good snacks. You do really need a car and/or bicycles if you come here. But if you do, I'm sure you'll have a pleasant stay.

We had a fantastic stay here. Quiet location, rooms amazing, host's very friendly and helpful :) The food was awesome, we had the best meal we have eaten in a long time and the choice of bread for breakfast was all freshly made with home smoked ham, salmon and a good selection of cheeses, fruit, juices, eggs oh and the jam wow, oh and cake :) They can arrange bike hire, If you are looking for a romantic getaway this is it. They also had a gypsy caravan which I think I would like to stay in next time or the room with balcony 10/10 :)

We parked easily just across the road, and the family room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a big variety of options. It is the perfect location for going to the beach.

Great location, 2 minutes walk to promenade and tram stop right outside. Large comfortable bed. balcony with view to promenade. All staff helpful and friendly, was allowed very early check in as rooms was ready. Excellent breakfast with great variety and good quality.

The food was tasty and plentiful. There was plenty of choice at breakfast time.I enjoyed a swim in the pool and time in the bubble pool. The hotel was very warm, the two shower heads were powerful and effective and the bar was comfy. The only downside was no lighting on some of the stairs.

We had an amazing time at Royal Astrid! The breakfast buffet was good and the spa area is outstanding! We can recommend this place to anyone and would come back again! It is also child friendly! 🙂

We had a wonderful stay and did very much enjoy the breakfast every morning. We did also have dinner one night that was also outstanding! The room was very nice, we had nice privat garden and could charge our bycicles easily there. We absolute loved this place and will book again for sure!

This place is fabulous! It is likes loft with a double bed and a sofa bed and both were very comfortable.Very clean and organized. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need. The hot tub and sauna were amazing! Very relaxing after a full day sightseeing in Bruges. The location is in a calm neighborhood but about 15 min by car to the city centre. Close to gas station and convenient stores.

It had a clean modern feel. The hot tub was great at the end of a hot day. Air conditioning was a plus due to the heatwave.

We were very comfortable in our small but perfectly formed room at the back of the house. Everything felt fresh, new and clean. The bed was super comfy. We were not the only occupants in the house, but overall it was very quiet. We even stayed longer than originally planned. The location is great, the coastal tram and bus stop is just opposite the house, a large, free public parking lot is available, too. Plenty of bars and restaurants in stumbling distance in Nieuwpoort-Stad or a short tram hop away in Nieuwpoort-Bad. Breakfast was a 15 minute bracing walk away but it was worth it, located in Westhoek Marina, good coffee, eggs/bacon and plenty of other goodies to reward ourselves with. Big thanks to Sheila and Stephane who were the perfect hosts, super helpful and made us feel very welcome! We are sure to come again!

Booking was very easy, and a good price. The room had quirky decoration, and was very clean. The staff at checkin and a breakfast were very friendly. The continental breakfast was a generous selection of bread, pastries, meat and cheese. I will be back.

Such a beautiful B&B! The hosts are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location in the ' Belle Epoque-wijk' is great, the seaside is 5 minutes walking. The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed, the building is beautiful with original flooring kept with stunning modernisations. The breakfast is delicious, fresh breads and spreads, yoghurt and everything is local. The hosts explain it all at the table. It was very calm in the streets with quiet nights.

Bart is a very friendly and helpful host. The breakfast was delicious and with products from the region, which we appreciated very much. The room was nice, quiet and very clean. If we come back to Ostende, this would be our first choice.

De Haan must surely be one of the best preserved Golden Age seaside towns in the world, you feel as if you have walked into a French Impressionist painting, such a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of the Belgium coast. Steps away from the action, and on the way to the beach these are whole streets lined with amazing grand mansions. At Masion Rebelais you are greeted with an invitation to sit to enjoy a tea/coffee and homemade cake in the lounge or terrace. The rooms are cute, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is exceptional, service is attentive & nothing is overlooked, you are even invited to return for afternoon tea if you’re still in the area. A stop on the coast not to be missed.

We had a most wonderful one day stay in Maison Rabelais. The hosts created an atmosphere, which was warm, cosy and family like. Wonderful welcoming cake, delicious breakfast, privacy, very enjoyable common area, and the location couldn't be better in De Haan. What is definitely better than other B&Bs in the area is that Maison Rabelais is not at all pretentious, but truly welcoming towards guests, so we felt more comfortable, particularly with kids. We will be back for sure.

Beautiful 1930s house in the charming resort of De Haan. Easy access to beach and town. Comfortable clean spacious rooms and an exceptional hostess who provides a great breakfast.

Sabine was an exceptional host, attentive to every detail. We had a very good stay and rest, lovely, very good breakfast. Very comfortable beds and pillows, hence very good rest.

The hostess is wonderful. You get a royal breakfast with warm bread and croissants. If you ask Sabine can bake you an egg. As a dessert fresh fruit salade and home made jam. Also home made cake is available during the day. The location is great, close by Brugge and only 1 hoir drive to Lille France. If you want to make a trip to there. De Haan city is a charming small city. There is enought to do with a lot of nice places to enjoy nice food. The beach is 10 minutes away. I had a great stay. Recomend everyone.

This is a small hotel so it is nice and quiet. It was spotless. The owner was a very nice and friendly lady. We were given information about restaurants in the area. The hotel was close to the beach and the shops. The breakfast was a typical continental one, lovely. We were able to park right outside the hotel. We will definitely be going back there and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of having a nice quiet relaxing time in De Haan.

We had a lovely stay in De Haan and the Hotel Rubens was great, close to the shops, restaurants, park and beach. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Our only slight issue was with sound proofing as we could clearly hear the TV from downstairs until quite late one night, hopefully our kids didn't disturb anyone else too much with their antics! We would definitely stay again if in the area on another occasion.

Such a beautiful place to stay with tastefully decorated rooms with super tall ceilings and original features. Very large comfortable bed, a balcony, a small table and chairs as well as a comfortable lounge chair to read in. Loved the deck of cards in the room, a perfect way to pass time waiting for the rain to end. We were checked in early due to our unexpected early arrival due to rain. Beautiful garden and lounge areas to use, an outbuilding for the bikes. One of the nicest continental breakfasts ever with fresh cherries, cheese, yoghurt, granola, fruit. Such a lovely experience and we felt so at home. In a bed and breakfast. Would highly recommend.

If the weather is good, you can have breakfast, Al Fresco. Owners are so friendly and helpful. Situated down a little side avenue through an archway off the Oostrtraat and just before Grote Square. Square has restaurants and bars. Met and talked with very friendly people there. A walk around is a must. Especially through the square. Lovely Renissance style buildings. Just a very lovely and relaxing place to visit. We will definitely return. There is parking at the B&B if you ask for it when booking. On arrival, you need to park up on the Ooststraat first and check in. Then you will be instructed on how and where to park.

Location was perfect for an overnight stop before catching Le Shuttle to England. Extremely comfortable, tastefully furnished room, large bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet. Very quiet plus free parking at property. Delicious breakfast, more than enough, with good coffee. Veurne is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and shops. We had dinner at ‘t Hof van de Hemel, a short walk away from the Veurnse Slaper. Excellent food and a large choice of beers. Climbing the church tower afforded a fantastic view of the surroundings. We will certainly stay at this B&B again the next time we travel to the UK from NL. Thank you to our hosts!

Breakfast was amazing, beautifully laid out & a really good choice. Bread rolls were exceptionally good & it was nice to have a choice of coffee strengths to suit. The room was delightful, spacious, bright & tastefully decorated with lots of extra little touches. The location of the B&B was very central which was perfect as unfortunately it was a very wet day when we stayed. We weren’t able to take advantage of their free parking as there were building works nearby meaning there was no access to their parking. We were informed ahead of our arrival & information given as to where we could park as an alternative.

Excellent location very close to the market square with good parking nearby. A friendly welcome. Clean, comfortable, and modern rooms. Breakfast was a friendly affair with most people sitting at one big table: a good choice of bread, cheese yogurts and so on with the option of freshly-cooked eggs. Veurne itself is a terrific place to visit with plenty of character: lots to see and great places to eat.

Location downtown close to Casino and in walking distance from restaurants, parc, shops. Very close to the beach. Complimentary French press coffee for guests. Sea view from my window. Clean and spacious room.

Breakfast is delicious. Room was soundproof. Aircon was quiet and very efficient. Bed huge and comfortable. Great water pressure. Extremely clean.

Breakfast at the Rosa was excellent - all lovely and fresh and the scrambled egg in particular was amazing - not something I would usually have when away. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely (although the lights were complicated!) and I loved the body lotion - it isn't usually great in a hotel room. The staff were all really helpful too. I would happily stay here again - it is in a great location 1 minute walk to the sea front.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.. The room was comfortable, clean, a good size and everything worked perfectly. The breakfast was magnificent. A huge variety of breads, pastries plus fruit, yoghurts, cereals and scramled egg - everything was delicious. One of the best we've ever had. The parking behind was easy and well organised (for an extra €15) and there was safe storage for our bikes too (free). It was only a short walk to the nearby beach.

Spacious, clean room with easy parking outside (we imagine it might be harder in peak season, but they do have an underground parking option for a reasonable fee). Exceptional breakfast, everything you could want, nicely presented. Lovely dining area and the bar looked cosy, we’ll try that next time! Very friendly hosts.

The hotel has a nice location -just 2 min. walk from the sea-. We just stayed one night because we were there for a dinner nearby we had to attend but a longer stay would have been nice. The building is old, but the interior has been renovated. The room is spotless. Breakfast is good: lots of cheeses, fresh fruit, sparkling wine. The quality of the bread could have been better (also the croissants were over baked) and I prefer a baguette in the morning but that's a detail. All in all a good place to stay.

The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, and our apartment was very spacious. We liked the Honesty Bar with self-service, the free table tennis tables with rackets, and the possibility to play billiards (small fee). Free coffee and tea were also available. Reception staff were friendly. There’s parking in front of the hotel and a large sports centre right behind it with many activities: an indoor swimming pool (more for younger children), fitness centre, padel courts, mini-golf, adventure park, pump track (a highlight for our 15-year-old), karting, bowling, laser games and an escape room – all within about 250 m. The hotel was very quiet at night (at least on the back side). Location is about a 15-minute walk to the beach and easy to reach by car or bike.

There was no breakfast included in our package, as it was in the self catered apartment wing of the building. Breakfast would have been served in the hotel rooms part of the building, but we did not use that service. However, we did enjoy the cooking facilities in the apartment, which was was very spacious, clean and comfortable with good heating and showers.

Comfy, spacious rooms. Very nice to rest. Excellent location next to amazing swimming pool Vita Krokodil for little kids. Also playground and restaurant the Krokodil were very nice. Padel club accross with jumping castle also was a favourite.

Room only, so can't comment on breakfast or dinner. Wasn't expecting a large apartment, however, was able to use the facilities to self-cater. Beds were really comfortable, bathrooms and main lounge were very clean.

The apartment was very nice and modern and was very well furnished. It was a convenient walk to the beach and restaurants. There were three balconies to sit out on and it a huge room.

Managed to park right outside hotel. Diksmuide is a lovely little town with a number of restaurants and bars. As hotel caters for school trips breakfast may be a bit hectic if your trip coincides.

We arrived late in the evening due to traffic problems on the road but the girl on reception was there with our key and very very helpful. We immediately went to small restaurant across the road and they were very helpful and although it was late they still served us and cooked some great food. The hotel was in a great location just minutes from the town centre. The room was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was faultless. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet and although no hot food it was more than adequate and plenty of it. There was free parking outside the hotel and I have to say that I travel a lot in Europe and even the world and this is one of the best value hotels I have stayed for all the facilities and comfort and helpful staff.

A great hotel, perfect for a trip to Ypres and many other WW1 sites and memorials. Staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable. Lovely clean and modern room (just wish we had brought a travel kettle) . Breakfast was enjoyed in a bright and modern room and there was plenty of choices for a continental buffet. Would definitely stay here again !!!

The area is amazing! Room was big and comfortable. On floor 2 the Wi-Fi was almost non existent. No restaurant on site, so I don't know why it says "room service" was an option on the hotels.com website. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was truly amazing and friendly! Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Diksmuide with plenty of parking available next to the hotel. Rooms very modern, clean and spacious and the hotel offer a good selection for breakfast. The room we had (at a the front of the hotel) provided a view of Yser Tower which was a nice surprise and gave the kids something to look at in the distance. I would definitely return to this hotel if/when in the area again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Corn in Nieuwpoort. We were a family of three adults with two dogs, and everything was simply perfect. We had connecting rooms, which was very convenient and cozy. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the bar is lovely, the perfect place to relax before dinner. Breakfast was excellent, with a pleasant selection and a very friendly service. The underground parking connected directly to the hotel was extremely practical, especially with the charging stations for electric cars. The staff were genuinely caring and attentive throughout our stay. Everything felt smooth and well thought-out, truly a place where both guests and dogs are made to feel at home. We’ll definitely come back!

It was a wonderful vacation! It exceeded all my expectations! The hotel is beautiful, with such a classic style, a stone's throw from the sea. The staff is friendly, always ready to help you! The room is very cozy, clean. You can see the sea from the balcony. As I said the hotel is in a very convenient location, surrounded by all kinds of restaurants, stores. We will certainly be coming to visit you again! You are now on our favorite hotel!

Had a perfect weekend getaway at this lovely hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and spending time chilling in the garden near the pool was peaceful and relaxing.

Very helpful and friendly staff, bed was big and comfy, happy that we had Netflix on TV, cute balcony with a view over the garden, the dining area was very cute and the self-service bar was also a very nice addition.

Reception is small, but staff was super friendly. Cold water always available, a lift, and luggage storage. The room was very small but super high-end, comfortable, and practical. Everything was clean. Excellent mattress and pillows, good quality bedding, great shower, fridge, coffee machine, safe, etc...

Lovely newly renovated rooms- very clean and the staff was kind. Make sure to get the breakfast buffet as it hit the spot! They have amazing fresh orange juice. Great location as you can easily walk everywhere in town!

The location is very good, you can see the sea from the windows and to get to the beach you need about 3 minutes by foot. The hotel is also very easy to find, it's on one of the main streets, literally 1 minute by foot from the tram station. There isn't a restaurant as far as we've seen, but all around there are many many restaurants from which to choose, including a cocktail bar next door.

Excellent central location. Very convenient for the tram and in turn therefore access to trains. Nice decor in public areas and in room, friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is very elegant, both inside and out. I was welcomed by a polite receptionist who answered all my questions. The location is excellent, less than 100 meters from the sea. There are several restaurants and shops nearby, and there's also a vending machine with snacks and drinks in the lobby, which is very convenient. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the sea view was absolutely beautiful. The toiletries in the bathroom had a very pleasant scent.

having two floors in the room was great, my 5 year old loved exploring. Nespresso machine with loads of snacks provided and just a beautiful view from the balcony. The staff were amazing, even when you check out they give you a lovely box of biscuits and a free drink in the bar. However the best thing is the breakfast. I have stayed in countless hotels in my time, this breakfast is on a totally different scale. Salmon, Parma ham, a vast choice of breads, just everything was brilliant. I'm coming back this was from the UK in a month and no doubt will stay here again.

They made the effort to make my birthday special with a welcome birthday card and chocolate (that was nice 👍🏾).

Breakfast was not included in the price but available upon payment, and very tasty with lots of choice. Located in the heart of Middelkerke and the hotel has a beautiful and unique design. A very clean place to stay, with friendly couple helpful in finding places to eat etc. It is located away from the noise of the beachfront, but close enough to both the old city of Nieuwpoort with a great choice of restaurants (make reservation early!), the beachfront, and the harbour. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A wonderful breakfast and a comfortable garden where you can enjoy your breakfast, weather permitting. We stayed overnoght to have a short drive to the ferry at Duinkerken.

The room was very cozy and clean. We had two full-size beds for us and our kids. The airco (which we didn't use) and the ceiling fan should be very helpful on hotter days. Location is perfect, easy to drive to, free street parking, 10 minutes walk to the beach. We had a remote check-in with detailed instructions sent to us via email. The breakfast was perfect, nothing fancy, but everything we needed for us and our kids. It was served by an exceptionally friendly lady, very kind and quick to help.

Hosts were super friendly, breakfast buffet was absolutely incredible - very fresh and delicious, room was big with a queen bed and a sofa bed as well as enough storage options and a very modern & clean bathroom, would definitely stay again!

Warm welcome with a lot of information about the region. very clean and cosy, we had the room Azzuro, we were very pleased with the interior. good bed, nice colour combination, good shower. breakfast is in another building, 800 m away. with fresh orange juice, delicious Nespresso, variated and healthy.

this hotel is very well located close to the large shopping main street and not far from the beach ( a few hundred meters). Despite the fact the hotel is large and overbooked the breakfacst was perfectly organised with a large staff cleaning the tables as soon as they have been making free . There was a very large choise of everything and it is one of the best breakfast we got in a 4 stars hotel we staid for a while .

The restaurant served delicious food from either the menu or a prepared selection for the day. The walk to the beach, shops or other restaurants is short. Onsite parking was a bonus. It should be noted that the lobby is not open 24 hours so plan your arrival accordingly. Once checked in, there is a code to get into the hotel through a side door. If I were to return to De Panne, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The star of our stay was Maelle. She checked us in, ran to help when we tripped and took our orders for dinner. Throughout she was friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you. We thought the hotel to be clean, comfortable and well appointed. We were a little concerned that breakfast did not start until 0800hrs as we had to drive to Dunquirke for our ferry, but service started before 0800hrs so we’re able to enjoy breakfast before we left. Our salad chèvre chaud at dinner was very good but our burgers were over cooked. Our bed was very comfortable. Parking was very convenient.

After our second stay, the Donny has already turned into our come-back-to hotel. Its location is perfect, the private parking makes all the difference when you travel with the family, four-legged included. Pet friendliness is exceptional, which we find a critical point in making decisions about our next stay. (Pets are not allowed into the restaurant and wellness area though) Family rooms are light and spacious, ours equipped with two balconies, and with enough closets to avoid messiness during the stay. Facilities, including the pool, gym, spa, are ample, catering to different tastes and needs, and all clean and well-maintained. We have not had our dinners at the hotel (we prefer buzzing around), but the great breakfast hints at some good eating in the evenings as well. The bar and lounge/lobby area is spacious and cosy and we have enjoyed spending time there (you may want to check their raspberry mojito), both in the evenings and for our morning reading over a cup of tea.

We booked Hotel Donny last minute after a couple of days in Lille and a trip further up the Belgian coast. We were looking for some rest and relaxation after a busy few days and Hotel Donny gave us exactly that! The room was comfortable and enormous, a welcome surprise after budget hotel stays! We ventured down to the beach and woke up to the sounds of the trams with the sea rolling as we enjoyed a coffee on our balcony looking out to the beach. The Sanocentre was a perfect afternoon to enjoy each other’s company and look after ourselves. Breakfast was fabulous with so much choice! The manager was incredibly approachable and we enjoyed our conversation with him, the atmosphere was exactly what we hoped for and we enjoyed every minute at the property! We can’t wait to return!

The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options: pain au chocolat, pistolets, toast, cereal and a wide variety of spreads, like homemade jam, charcuterie and fruits!! We'd definitely stay there again if we were to go back to Ostend.

The owner is very friendly, and the breakfast that she prepares for the guests is fantastic with a variety of things that you can choose from - like a hotel breakfast but only with better quality, classical and peaceful dining area.

Loved the huge room for five people (two adults & three children). Beautifully decorated. Lovely breakfast with pastries, meat, cheese, cereals, fruit salad, greek yoghurt, toast with jams, boiled eggs, coffee and the children loved the hot chocolate with belgian chocolate! The hostess, Marie-France, was super helpful and kind; and accomodating to all our requests

The hotel Prado is a beautiful hotel, with immaculate rooms and located in the centre of oostende within easy access of the beach and local bars and restaurants. The perfect place to stay whether traveling for work or holiday. The rooms are well presented with plenty of space and the bathrooms kept immaculately. The breakfast is wholesome with a diverse options from both hot and cold food, with a wonderful selection of coffee options from the fresh coffee machine.

Excellent location, one minute walk from the beach, lots of bars and restaurants around. Room was very large and clean, great free wifi! Reception staff were very polite and helpful.

Everything was very good. From the room itself to the beds and bathroom, the short distance to the beach, the restaurant Akoté and everyone of the staff we met were VERY friendly. We loved playing billard or ping pong, swimming in the pool or sunbathing outside in the garden. It was FANTASTIC - a hotel with every amenities one can imagine! We will definitely come back.

I have stayed in Veurne a few times now, this was my first at Hotel de Loft and will not be my last. Friendly and welcoming staff, fresh breakfast served in the morning and adequate roadside parking outside and around the corner from the premises. Room and breakfast area exceptionally clean. Hotel de Loft is just a few minutes walk to the main square at Veurne.

The staff were very friendly. We had a little baby and 2 other children and they were so accommodating to us. I have never seen such a hotel, it is made to cater for those with special needs and disabilities as well as recruit them. I loved every aspect of this ❤️ As someone who works with special needs I can't express how much I loved seeing this. Everyone was really friendly and the hospitality was amazing. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant 😊

I choose this hotel primarily because it's located walking distance from the venue where we were attending a concert that evening. When making the reservation it did not occur to me that this hotel is primarily serving clients with medical and or mobility issues. This results in a more "healthcare facility" type of atmosphere in both rooms and corridors. This was something that surprised me but I could have known it, had I checked out the hotel's website. The room was spacious and quiet, breakfast was OK.

Nice water pressure. It's a block off of the beach, easy walk to the center of town. Breakfast was good each day. After a day of walking around the boardwalk and the city, it was nice to sit in the small pub and have a refreshing beverage. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, as well as a small grocery store or two.

There was a free water vending machine with variety of peach, lemon or mango infusion. This was very thoughtful for the travellers. Stayed in a quiet double room. Lift was great. The room was a bit outdated, but had all conveniences including a mini fridge and a safe. The PVC cover had been peeling on the sides of the bed for sometime and the mattress felt a bit hard. The room was ok. The rooms were hoovered daily. There was an access to the roof garden on 7th floor which was perfect for sunbathing. It was private, quiet and not windy. Plenty of sunshine. Fantastic location: 5 minutes walk to any shops or to the beach or 10 min walk to the restaurants, bus/tram stops. Good value for money hotel.

A quaint family feel to the property.. A warm welcome- very simple and down to earth. Comfy room - fab shower.. bathroom a bit small for 2 people and no bath as advertised but no bother , the shower was great. Delicious varied savoury and sweet breakfast.. healthy and copious - great staff too. One of the waiters had a great ‘Basil Fawlty’ presence - defo recommend this place - 300m to the beach promenade and 300m to great music bars..

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were modern and spotlessly clean. The double bed was very large and the bunk beds were comfy. We had a really good night's sleep and would be very glad to return. It was just a twenty minute walk in to the seafront with the restaurants and bars.

The Hotel is located outside from Nieuwpoort, near to a camping. You'ill find a playground just behind the main building. Generally the Hotel is very Child friendly. In 9' you are at the beach with the car. We had room with bunk beds. Perfectly made for a family with Kids. The rooms are clean an easy made. No luxury or fancy accessoires. The staff is friendly. Only negative point is the pool. Actually you can only enter the pool area by trespassing the changing room. If the room is occupied you have to wait outside. There is no other way to the pool area. The pool is small and the water not very clean.

Hotel stuff was very, very friendly, even we arrived very late after the midnight. Family room was way better than we expected and really comfortable to stay (3 beds, toilet and shower separate), room was really big. Area and parking was safe, breakfast was excellent and there was wellness center which we would like to use if we had more time. Very family oriented hotel. Definitely can recommend and would go again.

We are a family of 4 staying in a room with a double bed and a bunk bed. There is plenty of room for the four of us. The bunk bed is a good size and big enough for my 13 year old. (Why can't more family rooms have bunks instead of sofa beds)? The room is clean and the breakfast is good. There are no photos of the carpark, but because the hotel is just outside of town, the parking spaces are very generous. They are large enough to take a bike trailer with 4 bikes and we see a few cars with bikes. It's a short walk to the town centre for food. The town itself is lovely and both the town and the walk feels very safe for families.

We arrived very late after ferry delays (2am) and had a warm welcome and quick check in. The staff working there were super helpful and friendly. A perfect stop over from Calais

Incredible location in the middle of the city and right by the beach, tram stop & train station. Wonderful breakfast buffet with lots of variety. The room was on the smaller side but had good storage options, lots of charging ports and was excellent for a 2nights stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful from before checkin until after checkout.

This is a clean, welcoming, friendly hotel in the market place in the heart of De Panne, and only about 10 minutes walk from the lovely sandy beach. The hotel has character and judging from the old photo of it inside is probably over 100 years old. The breakfast buffet is available from 8am to 10:30am every morning with plentiful supplies of all you would expect from a continental breakfast. The restaurant where breakfast is served is spacious and very pleasant. We were staying in the family room immediately above the entrance on the corner. While the room is small we got used to it and you have a good view over the market square. Please note that the weekly market takes place on a Saturday and the traders set up their stalls from about 5am, so if you have the windows open you may hear the noise! You may also hear if people in rooms around flush toilets or shout. But it was a great base for our stay - if you walk to the sea front you can catch the tram which takes you either along the coast or to De Panne railway station for hourly trains to Ghent and onwards. We found lots of restaurants in De Panne, and many of the buildings around date from the Art Nouveau era which gives the town a great feel.

I took my three sons away for a "dads and lads" pre Christmas break while the Mrs. caught up on things Santa has to do. My lads are aged 9, 11 and 14. We caught the hotel Cecil at a very quiet time of the year, which perhaps enabled us to check in 4 hours early. The owner/manager of the hotel simply could not have done more to make our stay a pleasant one, he was helpful and informative. There is nothing flash or fancy about the Hotel Cecil, but it is very comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We will certainly stay here again. The location too, is excellent.

Do you fancy a real hotel, far from the hipster-ish standards? An old but gold kind of thing with wooden walls and a nice terrace outside? Then Montana is for you. We spent there 2 night and then decided to stay for two more, so this explains a lot :) Super close to the beach but not so close to hear the noise of people chatting and strolling. Communication with owner works perfect , everything was excellent organised and explained (reception doesn't work, at the moment, under reconstruction I think 🤔). Hygiene is for 10, for me it is the most important. We spent just one night during fantastic sunny weekend. In the room is everything clean, new and comfortable. Location is perfect, 1 min from main square, with many stores and shopping streets, 3 minutes from the beach ! Surrounded with many restaurants and snack bars.

I don’t normally write reviews but I just had to say this.. My stay was really nice! The room was clean, with a mini fridge, the bed slept soooo good. The lady in the morning was friendly and helped me even tho I had lots of questions 😅 It's close to shops and the sea, I walked everywhere! Breakfast was also very tasty, fresh and plenty to eat. I felt safe and comfy there.

We had an extraordinary stay at the Thermae Palace Hotel last week and this week! From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect and pleasant, including the car park... The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were outstanding. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the breakfast buffet each morning was delicious and had great variety. We would definitely return here, as we did before the covid pandemic, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience.

Staff was really helpful in guiding where to park, and was happy to provide some ideas on where to eat and drink. Hotel was clean, bed was comfy, nice shower. Breakfast was very expensive so didn't go for that, but there is free team and coffee available. Would definitely stay there again should I ever visit again.

We went for 2 nights with my children and we all lives the place!!! the pool is amazing! perfect temperature absolutely clean and well mantained! the breakfast was great and open until 10 right next to the pool! The parking is huge and very practical and has a place to charge electric car. The reception staff is absolutely great! they we’re so nice with kids and providing towels for the pool as well. The rooms are also with enough space! we had a family room and it was perfect! with view to the pool. Tehre was also a huge park with a football out h which my children lives and played along with some friends who were also at the hotel. It was a PERFECT stay! The small city of De Haan is 7 min away by car and it’s a beautiful place! nice to walk along with shops and restaurants and very large beach. Absolutely recommend this hotel! We will love to come again!

This is an incredible hotel for a young family. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were fantastic. We loved the heated outdoor pool and the football pitch, there was even a football left to encourage you to play. The table football at the front was also a hit with our children and others. The hotel is set with the most beautiful backdrop surrounded by trees. Breakfast was fantastic, the rooms and hotel were all modern and clean. We loved the homely feel. It is a short walk to the nearby beach (15mins with kids) and easy tram and train ride to Bruges. The meal selection for dinner etc is limited but the quality and portions were fantastic. We loved our stay and would certainly return.

Hotel was fine for the category/price. Room was clean and quiet, AC working well, ample parking spaces, personal friendly and helpful. Food was not great to be honest. For breakfast I missed vegetables e.g. Fruit was provided but bananas were completely green and not edible. Lunch or dinner was mostly just heated pre-prepped meals and priced on the high side for the quality. I personally would have liked more shade around the pool and the garden area.

A lovely quiet hotel. A little off the beaten track and not on a main road. So I had a very good night sleep. The building and facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely use it again.

But the true gem of this place is the horses—beautiful, well-kept, and clearly cherished. The host has dedicated his life to breeding these magnificent creatures. It’s an incredible place with wonderful people, and we would love to return someday!

Old farm perfectly renovated by the owners; fresh breakfast cooked on the spot, including products from a local farm. Hosts took the time to show us around the farm and share with us the history of the place.

Very friendly hosts, hygiene standards were excellent and the room was incredibly comfortable and everything was beautifully designed. Lovely to find out more about the wonderful horses in the stable area.

Wonderful hotel for families! We stayed in a room with a separate bunk bed area, which is a huge bonus for traveling with kids. Caroline was amazing—helpful with everything from making our booking to frying an egg at breakfast, which by the way was delicious! A wide selection of local cheeses, bread, yogurt and fruit. The hotel is on a farm property and watching the cows was a big hit for my two year old. We would definitely stay here again!

The lady who runs the hotel is very kind and friendly, our bedroom was excellent, comfortable beds, cleanliness everywhere, fun games to play with the family, free and ample parking, nice breakfast, the hotel has everything you can imagine and beyond. I recommend it 100% and will definitely come back.

We arrived to find ground floor rooms, with parking directly outside it. There was a patio outside with garden furniture to relax in. Hotel Westendia is essentially a large restaurant with a two storey accommodation block behind it with ample parking in a very quiet area of the western part of Westende. It is about 300 metres from the beach and the long wide promenade, which stretches to Ostend. The rooms were fairly basic but spacious and with comfortable beds. The owner Jim and his wife made us very welcome and the continental breakfast was excellent and plentiful. About 500 metres away there is the Westende Bad tram station, which took us to and from Ostend. It is surprisingly simple and cheap to use. Also, we enjoyed walking to Middelkerke, which has ample restaurants and activity. Overall, a good place to stay at a reasonable cost with ample free parking in a quiet area close to the beach but not too close.

Very friendly people - convenient location, grand-daughter loved it as there is a play park opposite. Easy distance to beach and shops; local restaurants were very good. Will probably go again for a summer break near to excellent beahces

A jolly owner whose Parents also owned the same Hotel . Excellent service at breakfast . Easy parking and a stroll to a number of eating places . Very quiet, comfortable bed and modest prices . Cannot fault anything and we stay again.

A nice large room with a pleasant outlook at the back. A good buffet breakfast and friendly proprietor.

Would really recommend this hotel. While a little out of the way and not in the centre of Nieuwpoort, very pleasant. Some good restaurants locally and only a couple of minutes to the beach.

The hotel is in a very good location, it's just a short walk away from the beach and there are many stores nearby. The beds are comfortable and the whole hotel is very clean and well-kept.

We spent one night there as a family of 5 and we had a lovely set of rooms to ourselves. It was clean, spacious and bright. Our 3 young children took one room and the adults had the other. All the rooms were joined together which was perfect for us. The garden was wonderful for both the adults and the children who enjoyed the play area and you feel as though you're in a private back garden as it's so quiet and surrounded by other (lovely) residences. It's a short walk to the beach and the main high street and the hotel is located in a really beautiful tulip-lined street. All the staff we spoke to were very helpful and polite. The hotel also has quirky bit of character with some cute Easter animals & decorations and some interesting things for the children to look at. Lovely stay and I wish we could have stayed for longer.

Very warm service from staff and owners. Very nice clean relaxing and private room. Superb large garden with play equipment and a little tree climb for the children. Nice atmosphere in the dining hall. Location is absolutely perfect, easy walk to the beach and direct tram to Plopsaland. Located in a sweet quiet street.. you'd never know you were just by the busy beach. We would like to stay here again!

A surprising find but we loved this independent hotel only a few minutes walk from the beach. Very helpful staff, very clean facilities and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast and parking too (pre-book in busy times). A little gem and for us an unexpected find in terms of the hotel and the location. We'd never heard of De Panne but will definitely return.

A comfortable and modern hotel situated in a beautiful and quiet area, yet only 4 minutes from the city centre and 5 minutes from the beach front. Staff were super friendly and service oriented. This is where we will stay next time we go back!

Hotel Le Parisien is right in the centre of Oostende so surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Seafront is two minutes walk and the railway station is less than ten minutes on foot. Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view over the Groentemarkt. The hotel has an elevator and a nice cafe/bar area by reception, and all of the staff we met were friendly and helpful.

The hotel's location was convenient for the station and for the main areas of the town. While not a modern building, the room was very adequate with good basic facilities. The chap on reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very much as you wold expect in a Belgian hotel, with a good selection of breads, cold meat and cheeses and some basic hot food (scrambled egg and lardons).

Pleasant café bar-cum-reception area at street level, where a good breakfast was provided. Good location on a quiet square close to harbour and beachfront. Friendly staff.

Great location, walkable from the train station and close to the beach. Clean and tidy, with a really nice restaurant space for the breakfast.

It was comfortable enough, we had everything we needed: good beds, good shower, nice service, good location, nice breakfast, peace and quiet.

West Bay provided us with a much needed leisurely stay following our 1800 km long journey across Europe with two young children. Checking in was smooth and Julie at reception has been very helpful. Our room was spacious, stylish and very comfortable! The beach is just a short walk away and we spent a lovely afternoon at a hut watching the sun set, followed by a lovely play at the hotel's own (and very-very clever!) playground. My husband had to work at night and he praised the strong wifi connection which was no fuss. I loved my morning coffee! The next day we continued our journey and Calais was a mere hour away. Altogether a beautiful hotel, lovely staff and very comfortable beds! Wish we stayed longer!

It is well kept, neat and clean hotel. Smells fresh and welcoming upon entry. Rooms are clean and swimming pool and play area are well maintained.

It was comfortable, clean, breakfast was delicious, the staff very professional.

From the check when I was greeted with a friendly smile and offered even an early check in by lovely Ulyana to my beautiful studio apartment which had everything I needed, to the added bonus of the outdoors fresh water pool and of course the proximity to the beach - I was super satisfied with my stay! The breakfast was a continental breakfast and was very good. The rooms are modern and large with very roomy en suite with bath and seperate shower cubicle. The rooms are very easy accessable, all on the ground floor. great views of open countryside from the room. A perfect stay if you want peace and quiet.

B&B Nieuwhof is well located and a short distance from the main road so for us it was great as an overnight stop on our return to the UK from the Netherlands. However the setting is peaceful and would make an excellent base for a cycling or walking break in Belgium as well as being close to the various cities. Although our bedoom was the 'standard', it was large with a sitting area and large French doors overlooking open countryside. Complimentary coffee and tea are available at all times in the breakfast area where there is also a drinks fridge with alcoholic and soft drinks which are available at a small extra cost. We have an electric vehicle and we were able to charge this overnight in the parking area (by previous arrangement) at a very reasonable rate which meant that we could drive back to the UK the next day without having to worry about charging at Calais. Linda was an excellent host and could not have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a continental selection of pastries, bread, cheeses and meats, fruit and yoghurt - eggs were available (laid by the resident chickens) but we had already had plenty!

We liked all of this B&B! The breakfast was extremly good and extensive, with all local products. Never slept in such a comfortable bed before. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I rank it as a 9.9!

Beautifully decorated, high spec, great facilities, stunning room. The hospitality extended by Wim and family was amazing. I read the reviews of the breakfast but nothing prepares you for the locally sourced gourmet feast that awaits each morning! There are fantastic restaurants nearby and De Haan itself is a really lovely place to go on holiday to. So many great cities and towns within a short driving distance. B&B d’oude brouwerij is a gem of a place and is faultless. You need to visit!!
