Hotel staff is friendly, very helpful and had my request for extra towels delivered right away. There is a Starbucks, a French Patisserie and a supermarket on the next block, so this was very convenient. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, because we eat little for breakfast. There is a snack and refreshments store in the lobby, with a coffee machine where you can make your own coffee (at a good price), It was extremely convenient to have it available. It is on a residential area, and we felt safe.

I recently stayed at Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel is not only nice and clean, but it's also ideally located, making it a perfect choice for both leisure and business travelers. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. Overall, I highly recommend Hilton Garden Inn to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. It's a great value for the quality and service provided. I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice clean, quiet, hotel, close to the namur metro station to get all over the city without the hassle of the traffic, we went from the hotel to old montreal within 20 minutes, the metro is very clean and well worth the 11$/day for all u can ride, got to the biodome via metro very handy, staff was very friendly and nice, housekeeping was amazing, very clean rooms and fresh towels everyday, awesome experience, definately would recommend

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Pros: nice, clean, spacious rooms. Modern, beautiful views from our window. Comfy and large beds. Staff is helpful and friendly. Gym looked beautiful even though I didn't get a chance to go. There's plenty of stores around for whatever you need. Reasonably priced. Cons: A tad confusing at first when it comes to getting around, but once you understand how to get to public transportation, you are good. Not situated in the main area of Montreal and a tad out of the way, but still easy to get around.

The staff were nice and the hotel was modern and clean looking. They had a ice machine and a coin laundry on our room floor. Didn't use it, but it was nice to know they have. The location was nice, right beside a highway and walking distance to the metro. There was a grocery store and starbucks nearby too. Never seen a parking garage so clean and spacious before and all 3 elevators moved so fast. The king sized bed was comfy and room was modern and spacious.

Great location, close to Sherbrooke Metro stop and many restaurants. The front staff were friendly and helpful. The spa on the first floor is another wonderful reason to stay at the hotel. The small kitchenette with a two burner stove top, microwave, and bar fridge were helpful to have access. The jacuzzi in the room was also nice to soak aching muscles. The restaurant on the main floor serves delicious Indian-inspired food. The continental breakfast was included; the croissants were fresh, flaky, and crispy.

Had a lovely stay – chose room that included jacuzzi & loved that warmth and convenience. Next time might rather enjoy the beautiful spa downstairs with sauna and massage (to reserve even prior to arrival!). Kitchenette with basics, and the hotel is a close walk to restaurants and everything (or the Sherbrooke subway stop is just across the street). Most friendly staff, bien accueillants, un séjour super à côté du Square Saint-Louis. Merci !

Immaculate room! Clean, modern, spacious, equipped with everything you might need - kitchen, fridge, microwave, excellent shower and bath with strong/hot water, heating throughout, big TV with netlfix etc, large sofa bed, very comfortable bed and pillows, dining table, wardrobe, everything was fantastic!!! Breakfast was included and was also wonderful - fresh fruit, cereal, porridge, cold meats, eggs, sweet bread, croissants, toast, jams, butter, maple syrup, yogurts, coffee and juices. More than enough!! Very friendly staff and there is also an elevator! PERFECT location in a very beautiful area and on the best street full of restaurants and cafes! ... Also very close to metro and extremely easy and fast to get downtown.

This hotel is perfect for a few days to explore Montreal. It's in a great location for public transportation ( train station nearby and airport bus stops across the street). It's only a couple blocks to Ste Catharine St where there are numerous lovely restaurants. And, it's only a couple blocks to a grocery store and mall. The rooms are well equipped with comfortable furniture. The bed and pull out sofa were both very comfortable. The kitchens are perfect for making your own breakfast for an easy dinner. There is delicious coffee in a room with snacks and supplies available for purchase off the lobby. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean. We would stay here again on a visit to Montreal.

The suite on the 9th floor was spacious and clean. The queen-sized beds were very comfortable with duvets and supportive pillows. The suite has a full-sized kitchen (fridge/stove/microwave/counter/counter stools, cooking utensils etc.) with coffee provided and good-sized desk for work related activities. The bathroom was large with bath/shower combo and provided 4 sets of fluffy towels. The room is little dated (carpet and decor), but comfortable. The TV worked well with many channels in English and French. Windows awn open for fresh air, but do not have screens. Although there is A/C, the temperature in the room is set at 24C and doesn't allow for adjustment. Some noise came from the street, but we didn't hear anything from the hall or other rooms. Parking under the hotel costs $35/day and allows for in and out privileges during the stay. This hotel is within easy walking distance to Vieux-Port, rue St. Catherine, and many restaurants... an ideal location. It would be excellent for families, longer stays, and anyone who wants to be close to Vieux-Port.

Super close to everything downtown. Very quiet room, decent view, comfortable temperature control. Mattress was very comfortable. So convenient to have a kitchenette to save on food. Front desk people were very accommodating and they gave me a discount because I had a family member in the nearby hospital. It’s not a luxury hotel by any stretch, but it’s a very practical, comfortable and affordable option if you’re not picky about decor or special amenities.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to everything, shops, public transport, sights. Many things can be seen just within walking distance. The hotel is clean. The staff is delicate and very kind. Safe and quiet place. Extremely comfortable bed. The view from the 13th floor is impressive, even in bad weather the large windows and the light in the studio are very cozy and pleasant.

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. I really like having kitchen unit with two queen beds. I did find these were not a true queen they were a bit narrower. Sadly beds were not comfortable. It was lumpy and hard. Pillows were great. Room was very dated and in desperate need for renovation. Bedding very clean, towels clean. Broken tiles, broken countertop arborite, drapes hanging, dust hanging off fixtures, floor crevices dirty all along edges by walls. I cleaned it myself. Hallways quiet. I felt safe. Great security features . Great location to bus and metro. I would stay there again.

We had a great stay at the Ville Marie Best Western. Everything was nice. The amenities had a feeling of newness and everything was clean and comfortable. We got great help from Danny at the front desk, who found us a room with a mountain view, which went well beyond what we were expecting. I general, very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and also at the restaurant. We had a last-minute catastrophe with our trip planning and the front desk staff had everything sorted out in minutes and everything was taken care of more thoroughly than we could have imagined. This is also a great downtown location that is very convenient and near a lot of great coffee shops, restaurants and other amenities.

Our stay at the Best Western Ville-Marie Hotel & Suites was enjoyable and comfortable. The rooms were clean and well maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and restaurants. Staff were welcoming and helpful, adding to the overall experience. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

I enjoyed staying in this Hotel with my family very much. The size of the room was perfect, much bigger then normally you see in the Hotel of this caliber. The ambience was pretty, I like the water fountain and decor of the Lobby. It was easy access to the next door Cafe - enjoyed having breakfast there very much. Location was the best, we walked everywhere - to museums, shops, restaurants, everything in walking distance. The beds very very comfy, spacious , bathroom was very big and clean, a big closet was very helpful to keep the luggage away from your eyes, making room look neat and well- organized furniture with everything you would need.

I recently stayed here, it's a nice hotel with friendly staff, very professional. Check-in was easy, and I was impressed with the size of the room. It was larger than a typical hotel room, which made our stay more comfortable. The hotel is very central, although they don't offer breakfast they have a restaurant and there is a Starbucks across the street. It's close to many amenities.

It was a very good stay for one night with my wife at this hotel. The entire hotel was very clean. It is situated at a very convenient location in the down . Easy to access transport and shopping. The room where I stayed was small , but very clean with all facilities, that is needed for a comfortable stay. The front desk staff was very helpful, especially Mr. Rafeek. I am looking forward for a chance to come back to this hotel. .

The entire staff was amazing, from check in, needing ice at 1AM , cleaning was immaculate, doorman, wait staff. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable. Mini bar was affordable. Great location, we saw Springsteen at Centre Bell , 2 blocks away , easy easy walk. Fine Art museum (awesome) and crescent street one block over. Restaurant was perfect for breakfast , excellent top shelf menu , fresh fruit, and restaurant manager served our plates as waitress was taking another order, Impressive ! We decided to lunch at restaurant again our last day , sat at the very upscale bar , and were served excellent craft cocktails and some of the best sushi we’ve had, by a very attentive young bartender. Great gym (everything in working order) Check out was a breeze and doorman had our bags in a taxi he hailed by the time we exited Definitely will rebook when we return

This hotel is in an excellent location, walkable to restaurants, shopping and a quick Uber ride to Old Montreal area. The hotel has a modern, minimalistic design providing a calm atmosphere. It has a comfortable lobby area with a fantastic little coffee shop, Bazin on site. Delicious espresso and pastries. Check-in in was quick and efficient and front desk staff were very pleasant. The hotel rooms scored high for me, very spacious, high ceiling, bright and light, parquet floor, huge bathroom, plenty of counter space and plug/USB outlets. Rooms were very clean. Soundproofing was really good so rooms were nice and quiet. Extra shout out to Federico the doorman, fabulous customer service from him, always friendly and provided assistance whenever we needed. Please recognize this employee.

Just finished a stay at the Vogue Hotel and it easily ranks as one of my favorite hotels in Montreal. The lobby is stunning — elegant, modern, and full of thoughtful design details. Grabbing coffee from the Vogue Café every morning was a highlight, and dinner at YAMA downstairs was excellent — beautiful space, great energy, and creative food. The room was spotless, stylish, and extremely comfortable. Everything felt high-end but still warm and inviting. Most importantly, the service was exceptional. Huge thanks to Loik and Hugo, who were incredibly helpful, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality stood out in the best way. This is exactly the kind of hotel that makes you want to come back. Already looking forward to my next stay.

Boxotel Montreal is the perfect little adult getaway! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the sleek, modern design and the welcoming staff. Unfortunately the rooftop hot tub was out of service. The hotel’s eco-friendly approach and attention to detail made our experience even more special. It’s quiet & intimate. I had an absolutely amazing stay here. I travel a lot, and I can honestly say it’s the most quiet hotel stay I’ve ever had. I heard no one in the halls, outside was quiet …amazing. The people who run it are so friendly and personable, the roof top area is lovely. The blanket was also by far the best hotel blanket I’ve ever used! Comfy, clean, just all around pleasant. Area was fine to walk at night, train station is a reasonable walk as well as a lot of dining options in the area. I 100% will be back, thank you guys for the lovely stay!

The café was amazing to sit and have coffee and snacks in the morning! Loved all the plants and ambiance. The dry sauna and steam room were fantastic as well! Unfortunately the rooftop hot tub was out of service during our stay. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and professional. Our room was great, loved the bathtub, shower, makeup mirror and toiletries provided! As it was a rainy weekend and we were out and about, it was great having a washer and dryer in the room! Mattress and bedding/pillows were also nice and comfy. Highly recommend and will stay here again on another visit to MTL😊

I stayed here on a business trip. The hotel has a great location, within short walking distance of Old Montreal and Notre Dame. The rooms are spacious. My room had a very deep jacuzzi. The breakfast is quite good and they gave me two complementary alcoholic beverages per evening for happy hour.

Huge rooms, 2 had jacuzzi tubs. Free happy hour drjnk tickets, decent breakfast. We were only there for a night, we had a great time and would stay again.

Lots of complementary things I wasn't necessarily expecting; huge jacuzzi tub, half kitchen, happy hour drinks, etc.

Excellent location. The room was lovely. The jacuzzi was a hit with the kids.

Very conveniant location with parking space underneath. Front desk staff, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Spaceous rooms, swiming pool (mainly for kids) on the rooftop, very nice after a morning and noon walk / drive through the town. Jacuzzi also available on the roof getting you in the right mood for dinner.

I had a mostly positive experience staying here. The only issue I had was during check-in was that I wasn’t aware of the required security deposit, which should’ve been made clear by Expedia. That said, the hotel staff were incredibly patient and helpful, even while I was on the phone with my bank. Their customer service really stood out. The room was spotless, modern, comfortable, and immaculately clean. It had everything I needed and felt well-maintained. The gym was basic, but functional. The free Wi-Fi was the biggest downside. It was good enough for reading manga and checking the news but kept disconnecting and couldn’t handle streaming or downloads. I didn’t upgrade to the premium Wi-Fi since my stay was for a week. The location was excellent, it was safe and walkable to the convention center and nearby attractions. It felt like any major North American city, but I appreciated how easy it was to get around. The most memorable part of the stay was how clean and safe the hotel felt. While the price was on the higher side, I believe it was worth it. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

My wife and I visited in December 2024 for 3 nights. Hampton Inn is located just inside the gates of Chinatown, right near the Old Village. So it’s a great spot to access the Old Village, Notre Dame Basilica, and downtown. The room price was also very good compared to other similar properties. The room charge was just under $140 per night, so it came to about $480 for 3 nights after all the taxes. Parking is $30 additional (Canadian dollars) per night, which is on par with other hotels in Montreal. One drawback is you have to ask if you want your bed made/room neatened daily. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. It had a mini fridge and a small coffee maker with a few complimentary coffees and teas. The daily breakfast was free and was pretty good. They have a do it yourself waffle maker, cereal, eggs, sausage links, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea and juice. But breakfast gets crowded, especially on weekends! If you get there after 8:30am, you may need to wait a bit to find an open table. There are plenty of noodle restaurants and other Asian food places nearby, and many of them are much less expensive than other sit down restaurants in Montreal. So if you like Asian food, this hotel has a bunch of options in the neighborhood. All in all, we had a great stay at a good price. Pros: Location, renovated building, restaurants, and price. Cons: Busy breakfast and no daily room cleaning/ bed making service. We will definitely consider coming back!

We had a great long weekend at the Hampton Inn. The location was fantastic and a really easy walk to a couple different metro stops. Also really close to Vieux Montreal and the location just inside Chinatown was fantastic for easy access to restaurants. We didn’t get to try everything we wanted to and will definitely stay here on a return visit. In terms of comfort, it was very clean and well maintained. The bed was relatively firm and comfortable, but we both hated the pillows (too soft). That’s just a personal preference thing though, and we did appreciate that they were happy to get us extra pillows when we asked. The breakfast was extensive and very good. There were premade omelets, sausage or bacon, tater tots, a taco bar, make your own waffle station that included chocolate chips and some different sauces, bread/bagels/English muffins for toast, muffins and some sort of sweet-looking pound cake type thing, oatmeal with a variety of toppings (nuts, dried fruit, etc), cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit/fruit salad, and of course, really good croissants. I may be forgetting a few items but really there was plenty to choose from and the staff did an excellent job keeping things stocked and clean. An added bonus was that parking was available right when we arrived (late morning) so we could leave our car and go out. The garage is secured and we felt very safe leaving our car. Make sure you get the ticket from the front desk before you park. We even got to check in early!

The hotel reception staff was helpful, professional, and friendly. The breakfast was good. The hotel was clean and charming hotel and we had a comfortable stay.

Breakfast was simple, yet good. Staff was helpful. Things not in the room (cutlery/plates) were readily provided at the front desk. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. TV and wifi worked as you would expect them to.

The room is quite spacious ETA, dated, two adults and four kids, This week also had a kitchen. We got complementary breakfast and very friendly treatment from Mark and Olympia. They were very helpful. What an amazing customer service. I definitely want to come back with my family and stay at this hotel.

Room was a good size, bed comfortable, nice fridge, and variety of hard/soft pillows. The breakfast was great, as well a really neat walk out to the rooftop. Negatives, bedroom bathroom door would not lock, bathroom sink stopper got stuck, and immedtiately when we had to go out, we found the safe would not open, and took staff a while to figure out. Overall very nice looking renovations, friendly, nice breakfast, but has minor faults... good Value!

I started with a one-bed (queen) room with a jacuzzi BESIDE THE BED! Could have lived with that since I was, at the outset, alone (or if I had been on my honeymoon!). I was in Longueuil for a wedding and learned that my son from Virginia was joining me. So I asked at the office if I could change to a two-bed room and Gloria was wonderfully helpful. She was able to move me to a different (also non-smoking) room the same day that I arrived, this despite it being a holiday weekend. My son arrived the next day, so we each had a bed (and a private bathroom with shower). One comment for the owner: the deadbolt on the exterior door did not align with the strike plate, so the door could not be locked that way. The continental breakfast was a bit spartan--as a senior (society's assessment, not mine), I would have liked some bran flakes, but that's just me or possibly my contemporaries. Anyway, lots of fast-food within walking distance. All in all, this was a completely comfortable stay, and i would not hesitate to stay there again. At the risk of being repetitive, the service was outstanding.

I wanted to recommend this motel, I recently stayed at. The rate was fair, and the location was very convenient. KFC/PFK and McDonald’s are literally within walking distance. The property itself was very clean and quiet. I also found it very convenient that I could park right in front of my room, making unloading and loading easy. I suggest considering this place if you’re looking for a nice, quiet, and affordable stay. The staff were also very nice.

Great cozy motel room, first ever motel experience and it was wonderful: parking your car by your entrance door, all you need are included and handy, spacious for a couple, quiet neighborhood. Within 10-min drive, you can reach a very traditional Cantonese dim sum Kam Fung restaurant along the same main road. Best Cantonese Yim Tsa in North America. The only concern is the wall electrical. They need to replace a new one to hold steady your power supply plug.

Not impressed! And, there were only 3 coffee pods for 2 people. Absolutely abysmal internet. I’ve never stayed at a Holiday Inn anywhere that had such bad internet. I gave up trying to connect for longer than a minute or two and switched to my cellphone data. For anyone that needs a reliable internet connection for work I would suggest staying elsewhere. The restaurant was good for dinner - both service and food. We had to leave too early in the morning to try their breakfast.

Nice hotel...very nice staff. However, a few issues. The heat didn't work. The repair person came quite quickly and fixed it, but it was impossible to keep the temperature regulated. Pillows are all super soft , which for me was awful...some should be firm. Yes, I know this is picky. 4 lamps in the room....two were broken. Staff in the bar/restaurant were also very friendly. Despite their parking lot being fairly secure, some man's pickup truck was stolen. So if you drive one of the frequently stolen cars, be prepared. Montreal is a highlight reel of stolen cars. The lobby has numerous magazines and newspapers, but nothing in English. Hotels , after all, are where tourists come to stay. However, that is the picky stuff..... Great location, near the airport...near major highways. Clean Hotel with that newish look. Nice pool and hot tub....decent gym facilities. Nice restaurant/bar. Enjoy.

We caught an Uber from downtown. Checkin was great and shuttle booked for the next morning at 0530. I believe it starts at 0400. The dining room is open for dinner from 1730 and breakfast from 0630. We didn’t try it. We booked a King Suite Sofa Bed room and it was massive. Seperate lounge area, small dining table, good sized bathroom, shower over bath. Aircon worked well. Room was very quiet with no traffic or airport noise. The shuttle back to the airport worked very well and it’s about a 10 minute trip. Ours was longer because we returned to the hotel to pickup 2 people who came downstairs late - don’t be these people. You get dropped off right at the start of the international terminal, turn right and walk indoors to the domestic checkins. (Air Canada is right at the very end.) Our only complaint was the wifi in our level 3 room kept dropping out, like every few seconds. It was fine in the foyer so I assume it’s a local problem and needs to be fixed. I’m glad I had a Cell Phone with data. Overall, a good airport hotel.

We had a short layover of about 10 hours at this hotel. Checkin was quick and friendly. Had asked for a room on a higher floor and away from the elevators which was accommodated. The room was fairly large, quiet and got a good night's sleep before heading out to travel again. We did dine at the restaurant for dinner and the food and service were good. Overall a good hotel for a layover without breaking the bank

We were traveling to Newfoundland from the USA, for lots of reasons YUL airport made the most sense for us to fly out of. We took took advantage of the stay,park and fly option. For this the airport was perfect. Only 5 minutes from the airport with secure parking and free shuttle. The room was clean and well equipped. The restaurant/ bar was just okay and I thought overpriced. Would I stay here again, for the convenience yes for the price .not so sure

95% positive experience. The rooms were clean, the air conditioner was powerful enough to keep the room at the perfect temperature. The bed and sheets e super comfortable. Ample parking, decent location. Very quiet. Only issue was that we had rented a room for our quarterly company conference, and they would not allow us to bring food into the room (despite food and drinks already being there, provided by Holiday Inn). Ordered a bunch of pizzas for the entire group of us and received an additional fine/charge. Personally I think that's stupid to enforce a no-outside food policy when we've paid what we did to room and board staff and rent the conference room. That left a sour taste in my mouth. If you're just staying in a hotel room, it's a great location, but if you're planning on hosting a company gathering, maybe rent from a Regus or something instead of using the hotel's conference rooms.

It was not my first option but I mostly enjoyed my stay, and It was close to where I needed to be. Food was good at the breakfast nook, but was not impressed by the menu choices at the restaurant attached so did not eat there. I was very disappointed to find out that the pool was only open Thurs-Sun. One of the reasons I picked this hotel as my alternate was because it had a pool. Finding out it was closed on the days I was there was very disappointing. Pool days/hours should have been noted somewhere on their website so I could have looked further for a hotel that had a pool that would be open. Overall the hotel was clean, staff were helpful & pleasant, room was nice and adequate for my two-day stay. The pool situation was the only disappointment.

All the staff are very professional and accommodating. Breakfast was good but it was not buffet like the usual hotel breakfast. Across the street there is a mall which is like less than 5mins walk. One thing i don’t like is that the pool was small, which was very important in our stay.

Holiday Inn Laval - positive, excellent stay Hotel honored request for room location. Reception very friendly & helpful, especially Linda. Housekeeping was flawless. Carpet somewhat dated, but clean. Overall stay very satisfied. Would stay there again.

We enjoyed a three-night stay at Auberge de La Fontaine. We highly recommend this hotel, and already have, to family and friends. Beyond being a charming and well located place, the entire staff were memorably kind and helpful. Our room on the third floor overlooked the park. It was light, quiet, clean, central air conditioned, with a comfortable queen-sized bed, desk, small refrigerator, and roomy bathroom. Go for the buffet breakfast. It was a great start to the day, and included any number of fresh and varied food choices. The neighborhood streets felt safe and friendly, with lots of walkers and bikers and sidewalk flower gardens. We hope to return someday.

We have stayed here many times and cannot say enough about the Auberge, the accommodation and the staff! To begin, the hotel faces one of those most beautiful large parks in Montreal. Strolling through Parc La Fontaine daily during your stay is a hi light not to be missed. The accommodations are lovely. Very clean and perfectly stocked (coffee machine, bar fridge). The staff is special. Serge lives on the property and is always available if a guest needs assistance. Front desk staff is wonderful. The special touches are endless. Every morning there is a beautiful breakfast laid out for guests (be sure to request in your room pkg). The lobby/dining area is nicely decorated, warm and comfortable. Most of all, the Auberge just feels like home. We wake and go down for a coffee (prepared for 7:00 a.m), take our time and return for the breakfast buffet. The location is central to everything. A short taxi ride to Old Port. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we visit Montreal! Daniel, the owner introduced himself to us. He has owned the Auberge for 17 years and understands true value for his customers.

The location is amazing, across from the Parc de la Fontaine and just a 5min walk from the hustle and bustle of rue Mont Royal. Not sure you can experience the awesomeness of the Plateau any other way. My room was on the 3rd floor. I only had one small suitcase thankfully as the stairs were steep. But my room was lovely -small but spacious enough for me. Very clean. The bathroom was perfect. I had two big windows and a large desk. The bed was comfy too. I went to a restaurant recommended by the staff and had an amazing dinner with enough leftover for breakfast. The staff also helped me figure out pay parking for my stay there -I had a great parking spot right in front of the hotel for only $8 overnight.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Maha who works at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. We got the Executive Queen room, it was very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was great! It's right across from a big park, in a lovely walkable neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants.

One of the Best Hotels We've Stayed At! Our family had a great experience here! We stayed in the Deluxe King Room, which came with two beds—perfect for our group (2 adults, 2 small children, and a teen). The room was very clean, and we appreciated the attention to cleanliness throughout the hotel, including during breakfast—staff cleaned tables immediately after guests left. Breakfast was good, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable. The only downside was the TV—it had limited channels and most were in French. A Roku or smart TV would be a great addition, especially for English-speaking tourists (we noticed many other guests who also only spoke English). We paid $1,103 for 3 nights, plus a $50 deposit that we received back. For the quality and location, it was worth it. We would definitely stay again! Nearby Activities: There’s a pool and park (Parc Victorin) just a 4-minute drive from the hotel—great for the kids. We visited La Ronde (Six Flags) and Zoo de Granby—both were amazing! Just a heads-up: food inside these attractions can be pricey, but they allow re-entry with a hand stamp, so you can leave to eat and come back. The CF Fairview Pointe-Claire Mall was also a hit—my kids especially loved the escalator and glass elevator. My boys also enjoyed going on the subway as they have never experienced it. I highly recommend doing a bit of planning in advance. I Googled affordable family restaurants a week before our trip, and it made things much easier!

Stayed one night in a King Suite. Spacious, bed is comfortable with lots of pillows. Very roomy shower. We were at the end of hallway and was very quiet. Excellent air handling unit that was very quiet & very responsive to changing the temperature. The drapes were blackout, but light still comes thru the top as there is no valance, as the blind do not extend to the ceiling. Not much of an issue unless you were expecting a completely dark room. Front desk was very responsive to replace a burnt out bulb in the bathroom. Breakfast had variety - cereals, muffins, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, beans, sausage, hash browns. Make your own waffle and toast/bagels. Juice, tea, coffee. Easy/quick access to the Champlain bridge to cross over to Verdun/Montreal side. I would stay there again.

Everything from check-in to checkout was exceptional! The Junior Suite upgrade was unexpected and greatly appreciated. The room was quiet, spacious, clean, and the bed & pillows were ohhhh...so comfortable!! We arrived exhausted and left so refreshed after a great night's sleep. The washroom was very large, and the walk-in shower was fantastic. The bathrobes were a nice extra touch. The included breakfast was well stocked with a good selection of both hot and cold items. The hotel is in a good location and offers free parking. Kudos to the hotel team that completes this great location! Hotel Brossard is definitely a new "go to" for us when in the vicinity. We WILL be back! :)

Verry spacious room (junior suite), comfortable bed, closet for your clothes, plenty of towels, nice shower (luckily no bath tub), kitchenette, plates, cutlery etc. It is pretty quiet too, although they do have wooden floors, so you do hear footsteps from the people above you. The chair at the desk was terrible, luckily the chair at the dining table was a lot better so I put that one near the desk to work on. Would have been nice if there was an oven to bake some bread or a pizza. Free parking and the internet works good. The breakfast is terrible, and way too small for the amount of people, had to stand in line, and people in front of me took all the fresh croissants, which were the ONLY thing that was good enough to eat, all the rest was just horrible, instant eggs with no taste, dry bread, no fruit, no cheese, everything plastic.

This hotel is excellent in terms of price and quality; it met my expectations. The room was spacious, clean, and the king-size beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent; and the reception staff was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

The property was really good. It's a little away from the downtown area. But it was only 20 minutes from the Metro station. The staff was very helpful and it was a very clean hotel with a nice pool and jacuzzi we put enjoy. They just had some elevator issues while we were there so there's only one elevator running for most of the weekend that happens. It would have been nice if it had been fixed sooner.

The room was very clean and had everything you need to be comfy. Included a microwave, fridge and nespresso machine. It was very clean and had a great view. we were over looking the pond and a little green space with tons of groundhogs and rabbits running around. There were lots of restaurants around especially a breakfast one we went to every day and a bakery we loved. Hotel was beautiful and well maintained. Smelled so fresh and clean not that stall hotel smell. The front desk assoc was amazing and helped us every day. I dnt want to write her name on the review but for the hotel she worked all during our stay and had lived in France.... Incase you would like to recognize her for her expectational service.

The location is good. The hotel is clean, the swimming pool with the hot jacuzzi and the steam room were a bonus.

We had access to the club lounge with our room. The variety of cold and hot hors d'oeuvres and beverages served there during dinner hours was really great. The breakfast served in the club lounge has many cold and hot options as well. The fact that it's available 24/hours for soft drinks, coffees, teas and snacks is also perfect. Even though the room is outdated, the bed was exactly what we needed for a good night of sleep. There's a tv with access to Netflix/Amazon. Room service menu was great and is cooked by the hotel restaurant. They were fast and the food was warm and delicious. The amenities (jacuzzi, hammam, sauna and pool) were fantastic. Theres's also a gym. Overall, we'd recommend the club lounge room for all the extra options included. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel so much. The staff was extremely resourceful and warm (I traveled with three children so things got overwhelming at times) but there wasn’t a moment that we weren’t greeted by smiling staff. Stephanie was particularly helpful and kind. She knew all of the great local places for food and site seeing and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The rooms were extremely clean and renovated. We upgraded after a night and the upgrade wowed us even more. The pool and Jacuzzi were everything that I could ask for and more, the food was amazing (be sure to make a reservation for brunch)!! Will definitely be back and highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton, so much that we returned within the same month! First off you can’t find a more perfectly located hotel in Laval. The lobby area was recently renovated, with a café section offering coffee and local products. The restaurant was a bit of a disappointment to us, as we tried to visit in the morning and no one seemed to want to serve us. However, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and nice. We booked the Residential suite, which was on a newly renovated floor. The amenities were spotless, gorgeous room with everything you might need. The shower was fantastic and the bed very comfortable. The kitchenette area had a table, and they provided a high chair for our baby when we requested it. After our awkward experience at the restaurant on our first visit, we ordered room service for breakfast the next time .The price is outrageous for the quality of the food and I would not recommend. The pool area is newly renovated and absolutely gorgeous. There is a hot tub, a dry and a hot sauna, and a perfect heated pool in a relaxing setting. We enjoyed both of our stays and will definitely visit again.

The entire facility was very clean, apparently renovated from the original hotel. The amenities available within the facility were impressive. The eating and drinking options were convenient. We had coffee and pastry that were delicious! I find food is typically awesome in Montreal! We found the stay peaceful, quiet, and not crowded. As large as the facility is, we didn't see more than a dozen people in any one venue. The service is individualized. The facility successfully presents a feeling of granduer. The free parking was extremely convenient. The location is within a large shopping area. In comfortable weather, shopping sprees are within walking distance with upscale vendors. I liked the jacuzzi room. However it was easy to hear noises from outside, so soundproofing would be the main thing to improve on

The room was very clean and the property well maintained. Bed was comfortable and there was lots of hot water for the jacuzzi tub. Microwave and mini fridge were great amenities to have. The staff were very pleasant and provided great coffee - just ask them at the desk. Location was good, not far at all from downtown by car.

really enjoyed this place, we had the jacuzzi room and everything was perfectly clean and well managed. we checked in really late at night (close to 2am) and the lady at the front desk was so nice and just had a great demeanour evening at that late of the evening. housekeeping tidied up our room during our stay of 3 nights in July and all the linens were pristine. its a 20 min walk to a metro station but busses come often enough there. it felt safe enough to walk from the station to the hotel at 11pm, its mainly just automobile places surrounding it and parking was included and easily accessible, lots of parking available! not too many restaurants or nightlife if thats what you are looking for

For a motel it was very good. We were not expecting it. Clean, modern spacious bathroom and shower. Clean fridge and microwave. Comfortable bed. Excellent coffee! We found an amazing Mexican restaurant just a few minutes from the motel. The food was excellent.

The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, if a typical American hotel breakfast. What made it such a great experience was the staff persons. Line and Michele were hard-working, extremely friendly and very solicitous of the needs and wants of myself and my husband. They kept the food bins full, were ever vigilant in wiping down counters, tables and equipment after spills and crumbs, etc. When they had time, they chatted with us and helped us practice our French speaking! We looked forward to breakfast every morning of our four night stay because of them. The rooms were spacious, very clean, as was the entire hotel. From the hotel location, it was a breeze to access Old Town and downtown Montreal in our car.

The location is phenomenal. You are just accross one of the entrances to underground city (which is very practical when it is freezing and snowing outside) and round the corner from the main shopping street. You are also a stone's throw away from the old city and other major attractions. The staff is always helpful, kind and attentive. A special shoutout to Jovan, who is in the restaurant on weekends and was the best "tour guide" we could have asked for, who gave us excellent recommendations. Wifi is available anywhere and at a very good speed. Beds are comfortable and room is quite spacious. The only mini drawback is that there is not enough place to hand or put away your clothes while staying, but we used the couch! Also, a nespresso machine and tea make your stay even better. Breakfast is also very good.

Recently stayed a couple of nights at the Renaissance Montreal Downtown Hotel with my GF. Our stay was excellent. This hotel is about a 25 minute Uber ride from the airport and is perfectly located in downtown Montreal. It is a short 25 minute walk to Old Town, a less than 10 minute walk to the Bell Centre, and perfectly located near shopping and many restaurants/pubs. Our king room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed and nice pillows. The Renaissance also has a nice bar and restaurant where we enjoyed breakfast, and we also found the entire hotel staff to be accommodating and helpful. We also enjoyed the gym for a good morning workout. Upon a return to Montreal, I would definitely stay at the Renaissance again. Great stay!

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I valet parked my car which made it very easy to drive there. And the rooftop restaurant had a great view and good food! The rooms were comfortable and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very central allowing us to walk to the different parts of Montreal quite easily. I would stay there again!

Excellent customer service from the moment we walked in. My son and I attended the Habs game this weekend and the staff upgraded us to a high floor room without even asking for one. The room was clean and tidy and the amenities were great. Nice shower, fridge in the room, and ample towels, robes, and hygiene items. Only downside was the coffee maker did not work and the parking rates were very high ($39/day) even if you used the parking for 1 hr on a particular day. The parking rate was not a 24 hr rate - if you used parking for 1 hr on a day and 12 hrs the next day, you are charged for 2 days. Cost us $90 to park for 16 hrs of parking. Overall a very nice stay and very nice staff. Thank you Renaissance Hotel

The Parc Avenue Residence was beautiful. I booked this place for a nice little getaway for a few of my family members for my aunt's birthday. The self check-in was simple and convenient. We ended up getting upgraded to a 4 bedroom from a 3 bedroom which worked out perfectly for us as the hot tub was connected to our upstairs room. It was really nice and convenient to have that attached. The place was really big and spacious. A couple of things to mention though, the couch in our place was pretty outdated compared to the pictures in the room that I had booked initially. The place was not as updated as what we had originally booked. On the rooftop patio, we noticed a lot of cigarette buds in garden area, the patio cushions were just tossed around, not in place. When we arrived, the hot tub water was half filled so when we wanted to use it, we had to fill it and it wasn't warm enough to use the first night. It was disappointing to find out there was no elevator as this was a condo, I would think there would be. I felt bad for my aunt and mom who are older and deal with knee issues. We were on the 3rd floor so it was a bit of a trek up and down the stairs. Would have been nice to have more convenient parking though. The beds were comfortable and I was happy we had the extra bed for my cousin so he didn't have to sleep on a pull out bed. Once we got the hot tub at the correct temperature, it was nice to use. The place overall was pretty nice.

The buildings themselves were sketchy at first, but turned out really great! The buildings were old, but that’s Montreal overall. The rooms themselves were really nice and spacious, although didn’t have a microwave! The jacuzzi was a plus, and so was the complimentary bubble bath for the jacuzzi. The shower was big and had lots of pressure in the rainfall shower head and the massage jets. Overall, i’d come back here and recommend to others!!

Jacuzzi was more of a hot tub. Room was smaller than expected. Parking lot had many pot holes(although a sign did say it's being redone tomorrow). Room needs to be painted, floors were dirty. Wifi is spotty. Seems the room needs better ventilated. But the bed and pillows were comfortable, the blankets were kind of thin and scratchy.

Great price, very nice room, clean and comfortable. Mini fridge, office chair and desk, cozy electric fireplace, good channels on TV, closet space, and hair dryer in the bathroom. No bathtub, but amazing shower. Very grateful for free parking right in front of the room. The $200 deposit was back on my credit card the next day. I would definitely book again.

That is a little bit over average motel, quiet place during the time we've been staying there, they offer continental breakfast help yourself at the lobby, hard eggs, toast, croissant, cereal, orange juice, coffee. They have choice of different quality room, the renovated room which are nice, or the old room with early 80's look just basics small bathroom, all come with fridge i think, or the luxurious room with mirror over the bed neon around mirror and a dancing pole and a spa bath. Just 5 min away from the stripper bar.

Our host Marc was amazing. He did everything in his power to make us happy and welcomed us in his home. His breakfasts were better than what my wife and I have eaten at local restaurants in Toronto. Our room was very clean and the bathroom had a jacuzzi. Street parking at first glance sounded bad/difficult, but it wasn't an issue as we arrived home pretty late and there was always a spot. Plus, Marc assured us that if we couldn't find anything on the street, he'd move his own car for us to park in his spot. That's customer service folks. He has lots of rooms to choose from. Book early for the best selection. He has 2 sweet cats if you're an animal lover. He knows Montreal very well and told us where to go for entertainment purposes. He was always available if we had questions or concerns. Overall, a great stay with an awesome host. Definitely recommended and would stay there next time we decide to visit Montreal.

My girlfriend and I just got back from a lovely weekend in Montreal. I didn't know the area at all, but I wanted a small, cozy B&B as part of the experience and this place was perfect! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was ideal. Our host Marc was very pleasant and very adaptable to our needs. Breakfast was very enjoyable with a small dining room that allows you to converse with others. I also loved that access to the Metro was a 5 minute walk away, which made it VERY easy to get to the sights we wanted to see. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

Marc was a congenial host. The location was a half a block from the Metro station so very convenient to get around. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Being from Texas, I'm accustomed to air conditioning, and I could not figure out how to work the thermostat. But I recruited a fan, so I was comfortable enough. Marc serves a very nice breakfast too.

I had a great time at this property. It's cozy, clean and very comfortable. It's ideally located near one of the metro stations as well, which is very convenient. The landlord is very gentle and accommodating, but also very knowledgeable about the local area, which is perfect when looking for places to go. I really recommend Le Sieur de Joliette!

During my recent three-day stay at Hotel Newstar, I was very impressed with both the staff and the overall experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They were very friendly, approachable, and willing to accommodate our needs. One thing that stood out to me was their flexibility in allowing my family to check in earlier than the scheduled time, which made our arrival much more comfortable and stress-free. The property itself is certainly worth the price paid. The rooms and facilities met our expectations, and the overall environment felt safe and well-maintained. Parking was never an issue, as there were plenty of parking spaces available for guests. In addition, the hotel’s location is very convenient, with shopping centers, gas stations, and other amenities close by, which made it easy for us to get anything we needed without having to travel far. Another important detail I noticed was the level of safety on the property. Throughout my three-day stay, I did not see or hear of any incidents of vandalism or theft, and the atmosphere was consistently calm and secure. This added a lot of peace of mind to our visit. Overall, I would say that Hotel Newstar provides excellent value for the money. Between the friendly staff, convenient location, available parking, and the sense of safety, it was a positive experience that I would recommend to others.

It's more of a motel than a hotel. Clean room, clean washroom. At this price it's more than decent. There was no breakfast buffet even for purchase. Only ala carte. Buffet would have been much more convenient especially with kids.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The reception was pleasant, and we were given our rooms right away, even before the check-in time. We were pleasantly surprised to fun the room quite spacious, with everything clean, and organized. The coffee machine, and the coffee pods, were an added perk. My husband requested 3 more pillows and was given 4. We ordered food delivery, and it came right to our room. The washroom is a little date, and the hotel is located in an odd place, but otherwise a great experience.

The people at the Dorion are doing a fine job and they deserve to be appreciated. The Dorion is an old hotel in an urban center (many similar facilities have become resident hotels aka rooming houses). Parking is a problem, but the desk clerks will inform you of on-street parking that is available (the left side of Rue Dorion on the other side of Maisonneuve Blvd. worked for me). The carpeting on the stairs is threadbare, but don't be unduly influenced by this first impression. The attentive staff quickly buzzes in guests and maintains tight security. The neighborhood itself is far safer than those in most American cities. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, and the maid is hard working and courteous. There is a nice little kitchen with a view of the street and you can enjoy a quiet breakfast there, since the area is never crowded. Guests have 24 hour access to the kitchen, with its large refrigerator, microwave, toaster, etc. In addition, they will happily provide you with a mini-fridge for your room. The rooms feature window units for air conditioning, fairly large bathrooms (mine had a new shower stall) with no shortage of hot water, no leaks. Everything is clean albeit old -- which, to me, gives a building character. There is more than ample space for your clothes, with a dressing cabinet and a large dresser. Plenty of fully functional electrical outlets.

reviews are bad because guests are ignorant. if you don't want to live in the gay village, don't stay here & then bash the hotel? this is a DECENT place with decent staff who might seem tough/direct but i think it comes with running an inn in this neighborhood. front door is secure with buzz-back. it's not meant to be offputting, but to protect the guests safety? the rooms are above a bar. people get drunk at bars & smoke outside. this is NOT the hotel's fault. yes, there can be a strong cigarette smell in the room if you open all the windows. but the room itself is nonsmoking. this is not a family hotel. there's no parking, they have a walk up with stairs to the reception & rooms. not for people with mobility issues, but this is simply the type of building it is. need a luxury place with elevators? go somewhere else! leaving in the morning, i was caught by what might have been the manager/owner, who politely asked if we'd like our room cleaned. this is WAY less invasive than knocking on our door at an early hour when we might be sleeping. this is not a renovated, fancy place. but it has character, interesting finishings & glasswork, pretty varnished floors in the hallways & in our case, a jetted tub that was very relaxing. continental breakfast on weekends does not mean full breakfast, people. don't knock them for serving basic morning snack. no complaints other than the springs in the mattress poking us. would recommend to informed travelers.

Air conditioning was really good. Bathtub was nice. Clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Management was really polite and helpful when we arrived early.

We found the hotel finally after navigating lots of one street. The narrow stairwells was old as well as the tiny reception but the room we got was perfect as it's clean and a no smoking newer room. The guy at the reception was kind and helpful too which was great. The hotel has few free parking spots in front and we were lucky to secure one.

Hotel was very convenient. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Just a bit dated but it was perfect for our stay. No coffee in the room and there was no free coffee in the lobby. Coffee wasn’t promised but most hotels offer that amenity. It was close to many restaurants and is quite near Vieux Montreal.

Everything was great, for the price. I wanted ice for the room but the machine was not working, I feel like ice should be available, or mentioned if not. I wanted to watch tv and was happy to see it was a smart tv in the room, but I could not connect to my streaming services. Wish I could've. It was overall a nice stay, friendly staff and very quiet. Oh! I loved the shower, it was a normal shower nothing fancy, but the jet was strong and I was able to take a nice shower

All staff was great except for house keeping. The first time they came to clean our room noticed there was a few yellow stains and a green stain, told front desk about it twice and they just reused the same dirty stained blanket. Then I went to front desk and requested house keeping give me a fresh blanket and all the house keeping did was "rotate" the blanket not change it out for a fresh clean one.

Downtown location. Walking distance to stores ,restaurants, shopping. Very convenient. Very friendly staff. Very clean and nice suite.

The hotel is perfectly situated for public transport, about 2 min walk from the centre of the Montreal Metro network. The rooms are large and clean, but could be a little better equipped, with flimsy plastic cups being the only things to drink out of. And there is a lack of modern vending machines (taking cards / tap - no-one keeps coinage any more) meaning those late night needs for something other than water drank out of said plastic cups can't be met without a walk. The hotel has a nice restaurant area below which is only available for the free but somewhat spare breakfast. A shame, but I guess someone needs to decide to run a business down there that is competitive in the face of many other establishments within walking distance. It was sometimes difficult to reach staff, but maintenance was fast and efficient after getting hold of someone. Only thing I couldn't get done is solve a problem that many hotels have - a TV that can't be operated because of dead remote batteries.

This motel is very close to where I live, every time when I have visitors from other cities I get a room there. 1. rooms They have very different rooms. Some rooms are very old, shabby and stink, while some are newly renovated and nice. Of cause there are rooms in between. If you don't want a bad room, just insist to get a nice renovated non-smoking room, or ask to see the room first before you check in. NEVER ask for a "regular" room. 2. cleanliness I never had problem with the cleanliness. I guess maybe because I always get the good rooms. 3. service Not bad. Once I was given an old room because they didn't have any good one available. After getting into the door we found the room was not acceptable. We went back to the reception and asked for a better room, the guy arranged their cleaning lady to clean up a nice room for us. So we went to the Tim Hortons for a coffee, when we got back, bang, we got a nice room. 4. price For a nice room with one double bed, they charge $66/night, with tax included. A cheaper room is $50 something. They also take refundable deposit($5 for the key and $10 for the remote control).

Very friendly staff, slept perfectly with an adjustable thermostat, comfy bed and soap and towels ready for a nice shower - just a short drive from the airport! Definitely recommend.

The Staff, especially Sammy, was very friendly and attentive to my mother's needs and mine. He made our stay very Special!! The Hotel was clean inside and the breakfast was abundant! Comfortable bed's, extremely helpful and friendly associates, within walking distance of many restaurants including the one downstairs that was delightful! We went for New Years Eve and had an very enjoyable stay. note, if you are a light sleeper and you are going on a busy holiday, you can hear other clients coming in at late hours. not really the hotels fault, but just a fare warning. All in all a very comfortable stay and we will be back if we have the opportunity.

Unique building with lots of character. The room I stayed in was small but had everything I needed. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet could use some finessing but overall I had a good experience and would stay again.

I enjoyed affordable and comfortable accommodations in a beautiful antique building. The room is small, and amenities are very modern and clean, while the building features some pretty art deco details. Like everywhere in this neighborhood, parking is something of a challenge, so if you can get the on-site parking (only 3 spaces!) it’s worth it. Light breakfast fare - continental style is included in the rate, and is served starting at 8 in the restaurant. The hosts who greeted me, Sami and Samia, were very kind and considerate, and made every effort to make me feel welcome.

Room basic but clean and comfortable. We checked in after midnight and the front desk was open and friendly. The TV had many channels and wifi was good and free. There is a Costco in walking distance which is my favorite shopping place.

A lot of bad reviews for this motel but I had no problems and had a great stay! It was quiet and the rooms were renovated,clean but a little aged. The staff was cordial and spoke both French and English. I would definitely stay there again. It's the cheapest motel near Montreal.

What an amazing stay! The hosts were so nice and so quick with everything. The welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch. The actual place is gorgeous and super comfortable, the shower is divine. It's perfectly located in a super cool area of Montreal on an awesome walking street full of shops, bars, restaurants and Montreal characters and at the same time, it's super quiet in the apartment. It's safe.

Easy check in and arrival. Easy to find. Great location near lots of cafes, bars, as well as quiet neighborhoods to enjoy walking through. Clean property, a fully furnished apartment. Very comfortable stay for our weekend visit. We would stay here again easily.

This was a perfect place to stay for a visit to Montreal. The place is comfortable and spacious. Location is safe and right in the heart of the plateau neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Walkable distance to restaurants, cafes, and parks. Would highly recommend and definitely stay at this apartment again.

Overall the property was great, very clean. Team at LIV MTL was incredibly responsive and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. They offered for us to check in early and provided a complimentary bottle of wine, which was incredibly thoughtful. The only thing to note is that the properly is located near a night club so it does tend to be a bit crowded in the evenings. It did not interfere with our stay.

The property is in an area that isn’t especially scenic; there’s another hotel nearby but the neighbourhood seems mostly comprised of business buildings. However, inside the hotel the staff members are all efficient, helpful and welcoming. Some aspects of the property look a bit shabby (worn carpet, for instance) but overall it is well kept and features a central swimming pool and lounge area that has plenty of room for kids who need to have fun swimming and splashing and adults who want to relax and visit. There are a number of games including foosball. My room was a pleasant surprise: I opened the door to a sleek, modern space in soothing shades of grey, a wall-mounted television, and an enormous bed made up in lovely white linens and four large pillows—I had a fantastic sleep! Lots of lighting options and a Keurig coffee maker are details I appreciated, as well as the microwave and energy star mini fridge. Thoughtful design ensured that I had a desk with chair, a small couch and coffee table, a closet, wall hooks (rare but very useful), a safe, a bench with built in dresser-type drawers, and a long mirror. I wanted to take a bath but couldn’t locate the plug so I took a shower and discovered that the large brass shower head rains hot water—delightful! The Radisson supplies individual toiletries but I hope they will switch to the dispensers many hotels are using these days because it’s far less wasteful. Overall, my room was excellent!

Two months ago, when we first stayed at this hotel, breakfast was buffet style and parking was free, while the main lobby was closed due to renovations. Yesterday, during our second stay, the newly renovated and luxurious lobby had opened, although parts of the entrance were still under construction. Breakfast was served à la carte, and a $15 fee for parking was applied. The rooms were spotless, and the bathroom and toilet were also very clean. We stayed in a suite with a king bed; the size, furnishings, and overall condition were completely new and well maintained. The complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent. Overall, I would especially recommend this hotel to those traveling with pets. There is a $50 pet fee, but it is very convenient.

I stayed one night at the Radisson Montreal Airport for a short layover. My flight arrived late at night and I had an early morning departure. The check-in process was smooth, and the receptionist, Terrt, was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable — ideal for a short rest. One suggestion for improvement: the signage from the reception to the rooms (and vice versa) could be clearer, especially given the large size of the hotel. Overall, a good and convenient stay for transit passengers

What’s not to like? We loved everything! The location was perfect, within walking distance to great shops and eateries, as well as the Metro. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, comfortable, and modern with a great view. We loved the pool, the jacuzzi, and the sauna on the 15th floor, and the view from the balcony. And breakfast in the cafe was delicious.

The location is PERFECT! Walked to the old port in ~20 minutes, downtown in ~10. Metro is across the street. The room and lobby smelt amazing! The theme/design is super consistent throughout, and just makes your stay feel fun. The king room felt HUGE and the ceilings are high, giving a super luxurious feel. Everything was extremely clean, and the small details like the stamped toilet paper was so cute and felt fancy. The room service drinks were actually a decent price….although they weren’t exactly what I ordered when I got them, they were still delicious and fairly priced. Took a little long to get though. The pool area is grand and clean. The sauna is REALLY hot… All in all, value for the price is AMAZING and definitely worth it.

Le Mount Stephen is a true gem in the heart of Montreal. We arrived looking to take a break from our road trip home. Montreal isn’t exactly synonymous with rest, but Le Mount Stephen is. We had a room with a terrace on the 2nd floor - the only room type that is dog-friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed and very, very quiet. Even our outdoor terrace was quiet and tucked away from the noise of the city. We enjoyed breakfast outside and evening cocktails there as well. Our dog loved it too. The staff is exceptionally friendly and ready to assist. They greeted us by name and welcomed us every time we walked in. The Bar George food is very good with a range of options. Loved that they offered room service since we were traveling with our dog. Parking is super simple and the doormen are very attentive and friendly. I really can’t say enough good things about the hotel. If I had to nitpick one thing it would be to provide more towels in the bathroom. The shower - a big rain shower with chromotherapy - was so enjoyable and relaxing that I used it twice a day and needed more dry towels :) Thank you to the staff and everyone who makes Le Mount Stephen a special place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Le Mount Stephen has to be one of the best hotels in the world truly. The rooms are spacious, equipped with electronic room controls, it has a toto toilet and a very spacious area containing a great shower and a gigantic bathtub. It was a room you'd love to just stay in, rather than going out! Restaurant and Bar George, the in hotel restaurant, offered great choices, sustainable foods and table settings, fabulous, friendly service which we enjoyed for both dinner and breakfast. The concierge, Michael, helped us with a lot of questions and gave us guidance on places to eat and things to do. The front desk staff were so helpful, warm and friendly. It seemed they had an answer to almost any question. The neighborhood offers several great dining choices, and we felt safe walking around the neighborhood (check out Joe's Panini :) Samantha, the Director of Sales, gave us a lot of insights as soon as I booked the hotel, and it made us so anxious for our stay to finally arrive. There isn't a single thing we found less than great EXCEPT, there are a lot of steps leading up to the front door! We got around this by going out and coming in the garage, but even that ramp was very steep. The situation never lessened out enjoyment of Le Mount Stephen.

The hotel's beautiful architecture, the gorgeous Bar George restaurant and bar, and the central location (we could walk to the Bell Centre for the 4 Nations games) were all pluses for our 2-day stay. But the key to our visit was the friendly, professional staff, including the concierge team, who thankfully contacted us in advance to ask if we had made dinner reservations for our trip. We hadn't, and downtown Montreal was busy with hockey and Valentine's that weekend. They made reservations for us at Bar George for Valentine's dinner and Pois Penché, a fantastic local bistro with great food, atmosphere and service, for an early dinner before the hockey game. Our guest room was spotless, and we enjoyed the heated bathroom floors (missing at Toronto's Royal York and the King Eddy hotels). After the hockey game, we dropped into the hotel bar and got seated when we mentioned we were hotel guests, even though there was a lineup to get in. Outstanding level of service in the bar, too. We hope to return to Le Mount Stephen in the spring/summer!

This boutique jewel deserves every one of its five stars. From the warm greeting of guests - curbside - by the GM, welcoming, professional staff at every turn, and beautifully appointed rooms with just the right blend of modern conveniences, it’s tough to find fault. Its competitive set in Montreal might be The Four Seasons, larger would be The Ritz Carlton around the corner, however Le Mount Stephen has a more chic vibe, better room rates and a more authentic feel in my opinion. Walking distance to various cafes, shopping. Safe and central. Also, dont miss drinks or a bite at The George, the onsite bar and restaurant. The gorgeous big bar here is a stylish, welcoming hot spot locals flock to. Pretty cocktails and a menu loaded with fresh options, some big enough to share and surprisingly reasonably priced for a five star property. Great stay, looking forward to next time!

Recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful all-suites hotel. From the excellent location to the exceptional staff and the clean, spacious suites...it's clear why it's #1 in Montreal. It truly felt like my very own comfortable Parisian flat. I was impressed with how well-maintained, and clean the property was. The front desk team was terrific, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. My suite was welcoming, beautifully appointed, and had a lovely airy yet hip/chic design. The location is awesome, tucked away from the bustle of the old port yet close to anything one would want. Having a pub open really late, a 24-hour convenience store, and public transit nearby was perfect. While there was some minor street noise, it didn't significantly impact my stay, requesting a higher floor away from the pub is good for one to know. Everything was within easy walking distance of numerous fantastic cafes, amazing restaurants, and cool pubs. Oh and the rooftop terrace is so cool, very exclusive feeling. My suite was not only beautiful and tastefully furnished, it was also thoughtfully equipped with every convenience I could need. Choosing to stay here was definitely worthwhile, especially appreciating the extra space compared to a standard expensive hotel room. It's an ideal choice for families or groups of friends traveling together, and #1 for all the right reasons.

Five stars aren’t enough for this property. Everyone who worked there was kind and helpful. The gym was great, the sauna clean, rooftop space had a great view and comfy furniture. Our room was awesome, clean, modern. Had all the amenities we needed and more. Great location in Old Montreal, super walkable area with lots of great restaurants (go to Tommy’s for breakfast or lunch, you won’t be disappointed). Overall it was an amazing stay and would definitely recommend Sonder. I’ll stay there again for sure!

We loved our stay at this hotel. We had 2 rooms with huge windows overlooking the street. The beds were firm and super comfortable. Loved the retro details with record players in the room - my daughter had fun listening to the albums. Breakfast was delivered to the room daily, consisting of either a croissant or fresh crusty bread, juice, cheese, yogurt, and some dried fruit. There are coffee machines in the room, or they have drip coffee and hot chocolate for free, or you can upgrade to an espresso-type drink for additional cost. The manager was very helpful when helping me decide on a glass of wine for happy hour. She was also very helpful when we extended our trip by a day to avoid bad weather. We were able to change our 2 rooms into a large room with double beds. Parking was easy: a block away up the street or a parking garage down by the water. The weather was cold while we were there (15ish degrees F), but restaurants and stores were within walking distance. We are already looking forward to our next stay at Hotel Uville!

This is a recently renovated theme hotel that presents itself in the 70s style. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated with all the necessary amenities, including a fridge and a recorder where you can listen to my new records. The bathroom is not too big but enough for two people. Everything is very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and serve you coffee and other beverages in the entry café. The location is perfectly situated in the old town close to the waterfront. It is very quiet and faces a beautiful historic square/ park. The windows cannot be opened but the AC works very well and is quiet! They serve you breakfast baskets that are placed outside of your room. The only improvement that could me made is to expand the breakfast choice to fruits/ cereals.

We love this hotel! Friendly, comfortable, clean, great beds, unique ambience. Cozy bar with fun, friendly staff. Great location: 2 blocks from attractions and harbor, yet quiet. Kitschy ambience featuring posters and art from '70's Canadian Rock 'n Roll and politics. Even our room had terrific photos plus a vintage turntable and old LP's! Get an upper story room with street view. We can't wait to go back.

A perfect location before or after a cruise. Excellent staff. Fun rooms and decor based on the 1967 world’s fair and music from that era in the lobby. Breakfast box was fun and we brought ours down to the cafe or terrace to enjoy w free coffee from the cafe. We also loved the coffee machine in the room. Memorable and fun boutique hotel.

We like the location of this apartment very much. Just around 10 mins walk and there are so many restaurants for choices. Now about the apartment itself. It is spacious. It has two rooms and two bath rooms, spacious and clean. Mattresses are large, comfy too, not too hard or too soft, just right for me. The Apartment is also well equipped with washing and dryer for wahing clothes. Dish washer available and we are happy to cook there. coffee machine, oven, microwave oven, .... And tv has so many choices, kids just love to stay in and dont wanna go out, hahaa. One more highlight, there are drawers and small storage in both rooms for hanging clothes clothes so we dont need to open luggages a lot, we just need to unpack our clothes when we move in.b

This is a great apartment, really comfortable, clean, and spacious. We had apartment 202 and it was ideal for our family of 3 adults. Cristina was super friendly and helpful and we especially appreciated her flexibility with our luggage as we had a late flight. The apartment is well situated between the main attractions but is peaceful and quiet at night too. We got around the city using Bixi city bikes and walking and there is a car hire office just round the corner if you want to get out of the city for a day or two. We would really recommend this apartment and would love to visit again.

Everything was perfect ! Spacious, clean, quiet, safe.. Right in the heart of the city. Close to Metro, to restaurants, grocery store… to everything! The rooftop terrace is a nice extra touch. Definitely recommend. Especially for families.

Location was great, between the old town and an are with excellent restaurants. The apartment was very spacious, clean, quiet and Cristina was amazing! She was very prompt and friendly. She gave us very good restaurant recommendations and even lent us two foldable chairs for us to watch the eclipse! We highly recommend this property!

We were unsure how the shower situation will be since it didn't exactly have a partition / door and it is behind the bed but surprisingly it does have some privacy with a changing space and didn't bother us. The young lady at the front desk worked hard for us to get the dinner reservations at a very popular restaurant although it was at the last minute and didn't give up even if the second choice was secured. I must say that itself made my stay worthwhile and it is a clear indication of excellent service! Merci beaucoup!

I really liked this hotel. The only reason why I didn’t give a perfect 5 star (and knocked off 1 star) is because the breakfast was not included in the price. Breakfast was quite expensive and when I think of comparable 4-star hotels in Italy, it falls short of a good value (i.e., breakfast was included in all of 4-star stays in Italy). Additionally, the lighting could be better in the bathroom and room. The concept of minimal/low light is great at night but it would be great if guests have the option for brighter lights which could be dimmed later at night. My mom and I stayed in the corner suite and it was great. There are several great things about the suite: the size was quite large; the bed and pillow were super comfortable; the rainfall shower head was so therapeutic, the storage/closet space was quite spacious and generous, and the desk was also quite large and spacious. Also, my mom and I really loved the area (Old Montreal) as it is walkable to everything including great restaurants, shopping, and the port. Furthermore, it was a nice touch to see a personalized card with some local chocolates and free water when I first entered the room. I really appreciate this gesture. Overall, I would choose this hotel again if there is a promotional discount or if I have reward nights to use. I do recommend this hotel if you can afford it.

I loved the classic architecture! Our room had a lovely terrace with spectacular views. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were within walking distance of the Notre Dam Basilica and walked to the museum of fine arts. Close to lots of fine dining and cool bars. Very polite and welcoming reception staff and our breakfast was on point. Loved this place will be back

From our arrival to our departure, the staff at the hotel and the restaurant went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We received welcome Prosecco after a very long drive. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful providing a seamless check-in and out experience. They catered to our every whim from extra towels to late-night tea requests and always with a smile. The rooms have been renovated to reflect a combination of old and new. They are very clean and well-maintained. The beds are comfortable and the rain shower is great after a long day of touring. The room offered a coffee maker and mini-fridge and we were able to secure a kettle from the front desk. The location is excellent for exploring old Montreal and you are just around the corner from the Cathedral. A lot of excellent coffee shops, restaurants and bars are a short walk away with some excellent nightlife close by. The hotel restaurant was our favourite for the visit with excellent service, attention to detail and a willingness to accommodate gluten-free options.

Quaint boutique hotel in Old Montreal. Sabrina at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Luc, the Concierge, assisted us with our check out, helping with our bags, filled out water bottles. and fresh coffee to go ;). Parking is an up charge, but it literally next door, and offered in/out service. The room was spacious with a pretty view out the large windows of the ferris wheel at the waterfront. The Bathroom was a good size with good water flow in the shower. The petit de-jeuner complimentary breakfast delivered to our door, was a nice touch. Even better: I actually had GF croissant!!! While we didn't eat in the restaurant, we did sit at their bar both evenings and enjoyed our talks with Maxim, the bartender, who made really nice drinks. The atmosphere of the bar was cozy and welcoming.

On my very first trip to Montreal I stayed at the Hotel Bonaparte for five nights. I absolutely love the hotel..My room was spacious and beautifully furnished. The bathroom was great including a rainforest shower. The staff were extremely nice and attentive, particularly Luke and Christina. My only slightly negative comment would be that the included breakfast was a basket of little foods to start your day..They hang the basket on a hook outside your door between 7-8 am..It includes a croissant or scone, some granola and juice. It's cute, but not really a breakfast, more of a tiny morning bite. I love big breakfasts when I travel, so I did go out for a nice breakfast a couple times instead of having the hotel's breakfast. A tiny gripe since most hotels at this price include a buffet breakfast and there is a restaurant at the Bonaparte hotel. Other than that I can't say enough to highly recommend the hotel. It's charming and in a perfect location in old Montreal. I would definitely stay there again!!!!

This is one of my favorite hotels ever! Exceptional service and attention to detail. The double Queen room was way more spacious than I expected and the bathroom was amazing. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They helped us with so many things. We loved the bar on sight - best Old Fashioned cocktail there. I highly recommend the restaurant - fabulous food and service. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is full of things to do but very safe and quiet. When we return to Montreal we will stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel directly adjacent to a parking lot so you can park your vehicle. The restaurant was excellent and the room was clean and roomy. Breakfast was delivered daily to the room and held in a little basket by the door. I caution to call the breakfast included a "continental breakfast". It was a cute boxed croissant with butter and jelly, a piece of cheese, a cranberry and pumpkin seed snack pack and some apple juice. I would have prefered some alternative to the daily criossants and would have welcomed a piece of fresh fruit. Coffee you had to make yourself in the room from a Keurig machine. Coffee in the room with a Keurig machine is hardly a replacement for fresh brewed which would be more in tune with this hotel's quality, but was lacking. Overall though the facility and staff were super!

We have stayed at a few other Germain hotels, but Escad trumps them all! Very classy, spacious, clean and staff are very responsive and professional! Breakfast at Bar Les Cousins was amazing! Great selection of breakfast items and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful! All in all, a great stay in Brossard, at the Quartier Dix Trente! We shall be back, for sure! Highly recommend!

I am still here and it is amazing-- booked another week as a result!! From the first telephone reservation experience to the check in process I know we had made the right choice. The rooms are boutique standards-- California king bed in a studio -- beautifully appointed with everything you can hope for. Super duper over the top clean, bright, airy and comfy!! The extended stay option discount surprisingly made it the best value and stay in the area. Staff at every level are fun, kind and generous with their attention and time. We opted for the breakfast included option, a combination hot and cold buffet located in Les Cousins bar- in the hotel. Well worth it. The morning staff at breakfast are equally attentive and caring. Valet parking available. The hotel is located right in the heart it seems of DIX30 so we're not in need of anything. Close to transit and many amenities. Can't recommend it more highly!

I stayed here early October with my spouse and 18 month year old. The hotel has a new clean modern feel. Very comfortable bed, spacious rooms and nice views of Cartier Dix30. It’s conveniently located next to the Walmart in case there’s some last minute urgent items that need to be purchased during your stay. And of course located close walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Cartier Dix30. Parking is free all day in the nearby underground parking lot, but a but some walking distance back to the hotel so it’s best to drop off luggage beforehand at the hotel entrance. Housekeeping forgot to clean the microwave prior to our arrival but had someone quickly come up and clean it as soon as we informed the front desk about it.

The room was quite large, comfortable and the shower was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is free parking in the garage across the street. I also liked the Nespresso in the room and the tea selection. Fridge was also in the room. Also, the hotel is near lots of shops and restaurants which made it convenient to get food like breakfast in the morning.

What a great hotel, I would definitely stay here again. It was clean modern, the room was tastefully done and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good with many choices except for the powdered scrambled eggs. The bar was very nice and made great drinks. The staff was wonderful friendly and helpful first rate. The metro is only about a 10 minute walk and takes you directly into Montreal .

Maison Des Jardins was a great choice for my trip with my best friend to Montreal to celebrate our birthdays. Kenneth was a lovely host who made breakfast fun and exciting! At the included delicious daily breakfast at the B & B the friendly and kind staff had helpful recommendations for local restaurants and transportation. Our room was beautifully decorated and had great air conditioning and a wonderful shower. The jacuzzi on the patio was a welcomed retreat for a soak after walking around city sites.

Loved the location, the staff, the breakfast, the decor (beautiful building inside especially with the wall motifs). The jacuzzi and patio were excellent, and the tea selection was exquisite. The room was a good size and well equipped with lots of drawers and a fridge and robes. We had a shared bathroom, but it was never an issue. Our room was also next to the kitchen area, but staff tried their best to keep morning noise low for us. Great fan and air conditioning.

The room is great - spacious and a comfortable bed and a balcony with a nice view over the city. Nice cosy bathroom, but the lighting needs attention as there’s not enough light in the bathroom. I was almost showering in the dark. Breakfast is included which is rare in Canada, but the choices are limited. Also the hot food is made in a huge amount before service starts, which is ok at the start, but after 2 hours the scrambled eggs look nothing like eggs and are tasteless. At least it was free, as I wouldn’t have paid. At breakfast I asked for an Americano, but was told I can’t have it unless I pay extra! I could only have the lukewarm filter coffee for free. Overall the hotel is very quiet, as there’s only rooms on 2 floors (out of 8), about 25 rooms.its also a training school for hotel staff. Staff are friendly and competent. I’d stay again if back in Montreal.

The hotel is attached to the hotel and tourism college and proved to be a great choice for our stay in Montreal. Situated on the Plateau Mont Royal and directly above Sherbrooke Metro station, the hotel is a perfect base for travellers, having easy access to the old town and port, and also to downtown. The room and bathroom were a good size and very comfortable (although the bed could have been a bit larger), and we loved using the balcony which had great views over the city. Breakfast was good, if slightly unimaginative, and the staff were universally friendly and very helpful. Located on Rue St Denis, the hotel is within very easy walking distance of many of the city's best and most interesting restaurants.

The hotel is near the Mile End section of town, so not walking distance to some tourist sites, but is right at a metro station so very convenient to going anywhere. The neighborhood has many interesting shops and great restaurants and is fun to walk around in. The free breakfast was delicious with many great choices. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the room was big enough for four of us (two children) and sparkly clean.

The location is perfect for both those traveling y car or relying on public transportation. The Metro is literally next door and accessed by a covered path from the lobby to the station. The room was well laid out and the balcony is exceptional. The view was perfect to orient us as we traveled across the city. The breakfast was amazing. Both the quality and variety of offerings is exceptional.

Very helpful front desk. Extremely easy parking. Fast elevators. Clean, light, very pleasant and well-designed rooms – everything you need. Hotel atmosphere quiet and relaxed – while location was right in the midst of the most wonderful neighborhood, e.g., a few blocks from the incredibly long run of eclectic shops and cafes on Saint-Laurent. Also amazingly convenient to have a metro station right underneath the hotel itself. Breakfast buffet was good and very convenient. The hotel is staffed by hospitality students, but they are total pros! The service was better, friendlier and more attentive than at many much pricier hotels. Moderate cost + excellent hotel experience + location made this a complete win for us. We will be back!

Our stay at David Hotel was amazing. The lofts are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well thought out. The property is quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We stayed at two lofts. The first was not as clean as expected (toilet was not clean and towels/shower had hair). We notified the David Hotel team and they brought in a new set of fresh towels. We moved over to the second loft to extend our stay and it was impeccable. They let us transfer directly instead of checking out then checking back in. Overall, our stay was amazing and it is in the best location close to all the restaurants, bars, and Norte Dame cathedral. I’d HIGHLY recommend staying here when visiting Montreal!

Stayed 6 days at David Hotel. Didn’t see many reviews prior to arrival, but it met and exceeded our expectations. The room is a small apt, with everything you’ll ever need (cutlery, pots, coffee/tea maker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer etc.). Everything was very clean and well appointed. While there is no traditional front desk, there were couple of Staff around during the day, and you can always reach someone via email/text. They’re all very responsive and friendly, especially Mery. Ahead of your visit, you’ll receive the codes for the entrance and your room, as well as very detailed instructions on check-in and great “how-to’s” videos so not much is left to figure out. Couple of things I would improve is the see-through shower (within the loft area, not separate, no door). It was ok since I traveled with my husband, but it could be weird with a friend etc. The shower handle wasn’t optimal and the shower floor was terribly slippery. But these really are tiny complaints. Everything else was great. The location can’t be beat, it’s in the heart of Old Town, surrounded by awesome cafes, shops, restaurants, walking distance to Old Port, to the Cathedral. Would recommend it 100%.

I absolutely LOVED staying here! I plan to keep coming back. The lobby smells AMAZING when you walk in, the rooms are unbelievably clean. The dish soap, hand soap, shampoo etc smell soooo luxury! The check in is very easy and smooth, I felt really secure and safe. The staff is absolutely amazing, they were very accommodating. I wanted to stay another night and they helped me very quickly! The location of the hotel is in the most perfect spot, close to a lot of places! It’s also very quiet here! I will be returning asap!!

Great accommodation! Large room, clean, with an excellent location. Room had all the amenities one requires for a short stay including comfortable bed, TV, a small fridge, freezer, and kitchenette with all utensils, cups, glasses, dishtowel, etc. Good air conditioning. There have been comments about the room being somewhat dark but I thought it had good lighting, but artificial and a reasonable amount of natural, and of course it has smaller windows because it is a very old building in the Old Town. Staff were courteous, and we very much enjoyed our stay. The location is unbeatable, just three blocks from the Notre Dame Basilica, and steps from a good range of excellent restaurants and shops. It is a short walk to the train station, Cirque du Soleil, the waterfront, the ferris wheel, and all sorts of attractions. There is a convenience store just one block away, and a large IGA grocery store just 4 or 5 blocks away. The only concern (though not for my circumstance) was that the shower has a glass door, thus one can be visible to other persons in the room while bathing. The shower is however located off the side of the room with closet rack beside it so its not so obvious.

Despite having had reservations about coming due to such an unfamiliar and complicated check in procedure, in addition to having viewed the hotel exterior and surroundings on Google Maps and questioned safety within the area, once inside, everything was pretty much perfect! Moreover, the hotel is situated in an excellent location within Montreal, close to the central station, a metro, the water front and a great selection of bars and restaurants. Huge, spacious, state of the arts living space, supplying practically everything needed. Whilst provision of Netflix was a welcome bonus, we would have also have liked to have had national tv channels, including news channels. Appreciate the souvenir hotel gift bag, but we would have preferred a welcome gift in the form of more coffee pods or a bottle of wine. Washing up liquid was provided, as was an old, used dish sponge – only a small gripe, but a new and hygienic one is preferrable! Reassuring to have staff on reception at a regular point each evening. Also, to have a 24 hour mini market 2 minutes walk away. All in all, a super accommodation in a lovely, old building in the heart of Montreal.

Really central. Walking distance to most attractions and shops and restaurants were just around the corner. Quiet and well soundproofed despite nearby nightlife. Safe neighborhood. Clean and comfortable, felt like my home! Several charging sockets available and very good wifi. Everything was provided from Bluetooth speaker, ear plugs, bath robes, slippers, towels and toiletries to coffee pods and popcorn for microwaving. An added bonus if you have a sweet tooth and want the Montreal experience of buttered popcorn. Getting in and out of the building was trouble free, using the code provided. Lift was always available. Walk-in shower was spacious and hot water was abundant. Everything was modern, bed was super comfortable. Could have stayed there indefinitely, it was perfect for my needs.

This place was so perfect - a welcome tote of French wine and massage oil, bathrobes, slippers, a full kitchenette, tv with roku, small dining table perfect for breakfast from the inroom espresso machine and fresh croissants in a basket in the lobby every morning. Yoga mats were available in baskets outside the apartment. The location was in the midst of all the great restaurants in Old Montreal. The hostess was also amazing - taking care of our every need including where to eat dinner and where to park the car (a big fear of mine). She assured that every need was met and we had a wonderful time.

The location is excellent with coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, the Notre Dame Basilica, art galleries, and other places of interest close by. The space was spotlessly clean. The manager was immediately responsive to our questions and needs. She was also quick to respond with excellent recommendations for groceries, restaurants and bakeries when we asked. The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking breakfast and a few dinners. Robes, slippers, and coffee are available in the room and delicious fresh croissants are in a bowl at the at the front door every morning.

The room was superb, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was spacious and we loved the little touches of the coffee machine and pods. It was so easy to access the room and the concierge was the most helpful person we have ever dealt with. Finally it is in an excellent location for the old town with bars and restaurants literally seconds away.

The location in Old Montreal was perfect. Middle of the action but still quiet at night. The room was really spacious, clean, and very comfortable. They had many amenities available including coffee maker, cream, fridge, water pitcher w filter, microwave, popcorn, dishwasher... it was very comfortable staying here.

Great hotel for visiting Montreal! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very large and clean with a comfy bed. Bathroom was also very clean. Also, a desktop (IMac) was available in the room which was very handy. The complementary breakfast had everything you needed to start the day. We enjoyed the coffee machine in the breakfast area with which you could also make lattes, cappuccino,… (not seen often in other hotels) Location is great too: the parking area is spacious and free of use. A 5-10 min walk brings you to the metro station, which is great to avoid the busy city centre by car.

I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the breakfast — lots of variety and really tasty! The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. If I could suggest anything to make the stay even better, it would be to include a microwave in the room and provide bathrobes and slippers for after a shower. We stayed 3 nights at Le Dauphin in Longueuil Quebec. Liked fact just a short walk to Longeueil Metro station to Montreal. Don't like driving on Montreal island. Room was modern and spacious. Cleaned every day. Fridge in room. Parking free with access card. Breakfast VG. Lots of breads, warm hard boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt, fruits, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, nice juices and drip or machine coffee ( expresso etc.). Lots of room to find a table. 24/7 coffee machine in lobby and coffee in room as well. Ice machine came in handy. Very close to Longeueil mall. Easy drive down St. Laurent and light traffic. AC worked well during the heat wave. Overall, convenient location near Montreal but avoid the traffic. Safe neighborhood. We would stay again if in Montréal.

I loved the location. Central walking distance to everything, and the Front Desk (Ash) was fantastic!! The hotel was quiet, and the room was spacious and clean. I felt very comfortable and safe (as a solo female traveler). My room did not have a window with a “View of the City”, but that was not important to me. FREE Parking (you park the car around the corner in an easily accessible parking deck, that felt safe to me). As a Review Reader, Safety, the room cleanliness, walking location, and Free Parking were my reasons for choosing this hotel, and I was not disappointed. I would definitely stay here again. 💕

This place was a great find. It is a fully renovated building that keeps the charm of the old structure while offering a very clean, modern interior. The design is minimalist, stylish, and functional. The location was excellent, right in the downtown area, close to iga and many restaurants, the old port, and the Palais des Congrès. It was easy to walk everywhere. The parking situation was convenient too, with an utdoor option just across the street. Staff at the front desk were friendly and very helpful, always ready to answer questions. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely come back.

The staff were very welcoming and not the usual type that overly make a fuss or make you feel overwhelmed, it was casual but professional. This was my third stay at the Mercer Boutique Hotel, and it’s truly amazing every single time! The location can’t be beat — right in the heart of Old Montreal, walking distance to everything. The design is stunning, elegant, and modern yet cozy. The rooms are super comfortable with everything you could need. Having on-site parking indoor is a huge plus. The 24-hour reception is always friendly and helpful, no matter the hour. Every stay feels effortless and relaxing. Honestly, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Montreal!

Lovely little apartment with everything we needed barring food. Very minimalist (could have benefited from a coffee table) and clean. The bed was super cozy and the apartment was very quiet for sleeping - like - silent. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful and seemed to be there no matter what time we returned. The location is tremendous. There are many great restaurants within walking distance and a few bars as well. Tons of shops, galleries, and more on Rue St. Paul. There is an IGA grocery store around the corner and the parking lot across the street is allocated for the building (one per unit) so that was also super easy. We walked to everything we wanted to see and experience. Would 100% stay here again.

What a great hotel! So glad we chose this one from all of the choices in Montreal. The staff was super friendly and helpful (the concierge was absolutely amazing!). The rooms are chic and beautiful. I would recommend asking for one with the hanging chair which was surprisingly comfortable and relaxing. Great location, and a bonus of being next door to Solit which is a great spot for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed 5 nights and as usual loved it. Stylish rooms with my favourite hotel feature, hardwood floors. Great staff , great location for business or leisure. Museums , great galleries and while not in an area of the best restaurants close enough to make it convenient. A real bonus is the lovely cafe next door that serves great coffee and sandwiches etc that are as good as it gets for this type of spot. Hotel did a full reno a few years back so very modern and very clean. Never disappoints.

Excellent hotel very helpful and friendly staff, arrived late to be told room was cancelled, but soon sorted out for us and upgraded our room for the inconvenience, breakfast was excellent, stayed two nights , bar area really good too . 8 minute walk up Mansfield street from main train station, it’s about a 30 minute walk into the old part of Montreal.

I love the blend of MCM and modern decor and amenities. It creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is excellent and the staff professional and attentive. They even pay attention when you leave to wave and wish you a good day or evening.

We were extremely pleased with our experience right from arrival. You have the option of valet or self parking. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. We were settled into our room within 5 minutes of arrival. The rooms are quite spacious and well equipped. I was quite impressed with the motion lights under the bed and in the bathroom which allow you to walk around easily during the night without disrupting your partner by turning on lights. There is a number of amenities available - free wifi, breakfast( need to be mentioned during booking), gym with exercise classes, rooftop pool , bar and restaurant. Pets are allowed for a fee unless they are a service animal We had the breakfast which included an extensive hot and cold buffet and coffee. Expresso beverages and alcohol are not included. Its location in Old Montreal is perfect for exploring due to the proximity to many historical attractions as well as superb restaurants and bars. We participated in an excellent walking tour of Old Montreal and I highly recommend it. From start to finish our stay was perfect and at a great price point

Lots of parking underground but hard to find the first time there. Nearest ( very small ) convenience store Is over a block away so if you like certain drinks or snacks in the evening have them with you. Helpful hints for future customers: When checking in park your vehicle first; Come in via Rue St. Hubert you will see the signs for Hyatt Centric. Park in the green coded area's for the Hyatt. Easy access to the reception area from parking. On our next stay here, I would reserve a room with a river view

Stayed 5 nts in king room — quiet, modern, well-maintained, and consistent with the minimalist Centric brand. Room overlooked a quiet, green courtyard, bed super-comfortable, bath spacious, convenient in-room coffee and water service, although storage /closet space is very spare. Didn’t partake in the hotel restaurant, gym, bar, or pool, but appreciated the availability of these amenities. Easy walk to old Montreal, downtown, and the metro and bus services. Valet and bell staff always friendly and helpful. If looking for a place to stay near, but not in the action, highly recommend. The streets of old town are supremely crowded during the summer, so while we felt safe during our entire visit, we were happy not to face any crowds in the vicinity of our hotel.

It was a good location, in the northern part of the Old Town. We had a king room, and it was a good size and comfortable. There were three drawers and an attached nightstand on each side, both small. There was a very small closet with about six hangers. The room was bright during the day, as there was a large window, but at night it was a little dim in the room, even with all the lights on. The bathroom was a good size with a counter and a large shower with a rain shower and a handheld shower head. The lighting in the bathroom was excellent. If you get a room with the buffet breakfast included, there is some hot food, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles or pancakes, and grilled veggies. They also had Greek yogurt and at least one kind of cereal, breads, and a variety of condiments for toppings. Coffee and Tea are included, but not fancier coffee drinks like cappuccino. The cappuccino is 5.50 Canadian. We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening, and the food was good. There is a rooftop pool that looked nice, and part of the deck with chairs for relaxing. Nice views of the Old Town and the City.

Based on multiple stays over the last few months, this hotel is - I'm going to steal another reviewer's words here - one of the best managed Hyatt properties I've been to as a globalist, hands down. And I'll confess that my first stay here, a few years ago shortly after opening, I did *not* have a great experience, so the change to providing such outstanding service is even more impressive. The property and rooms are modern, spotless, and the beds are amazing...no, really, THAT comfortable! The location is an easy walk or transit to anywhere in downtown or Old Montreal, yet a quiet respite as well, with great views. Parking is reasonably priced. The gym is modern, well equipped, spacious and has plenty of daylight. As others have said, don't miss the pool - even if you're not going to swim, definitely don't miss the view from up there! All that said, it's 100% the professional, yet friendly and unpretentious, service that wins high praise here, and really makes this hotel superb...and my first choice in the city. Highly recommend.

We were met with a friendly smile from the receptionist. She told us about house and where/when the breakfast was. The room was clean and comfortable, and bigger than expected. The bathroom was quite large also with a big tub but the shower was a hand-held, old-fashioned style. The breakfast had an excellent selection of items to choose from, served at a convenient time. The house is from the late 1800s so has lots of character. The location was perfect for our needs. There are many shops and restaurants within a short walk. We used the bus and metro a couple of times. We were able to store our luggage after checkout since our flight was in the late afternoon.

A beautiful, unique space. My room was large, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Breakfast included tasty pastries, breads, jams, juices, yogurt, granola, hard-boiled eggs, and sausages, and I enjoyed starting my mornings in the spacious yet cozy breakfast room. The location was convenient for walking or taking public transit to downtown, Old Montreal, Mont Royal, and the many great restaurants and shops in the surrounding Plateau neighborhood. The best part about the stay, however, was the wonderful and helpful staff.

We loved our delightful stay at this charming hotel. The host was very friendly and helpful in assisting us to our room on that first night we arrived in Montreal quite tired from our flight. The room on June 26, 2025, was gorgeous, and facing the front. Later in our stay we were in another enchanting room at the back of the hotel (July 10 - 12) where it was much quieter. Breakfast was included with our stay, in the bustling parlour where it was difficult to find a seat as this is a very popular hotel! Coffee, tea, toast and hard boiled eggs plus yogurt was the fare. In the evenings we could have tea, coffee or hot chocolate and this was lovely after a long day of exploring the delights of Montreal. Although we spoke very little French, our hosts were very friendly and accommodating and we truly enjoyed our stay in old Montreal and would highly recommend the hotel to all. The bathrooms were spotless and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Thanks so much for our lovely stay!

The decor of the property was so lovely and cosy, it is in the perfect area near lots of restaurants and in walking distance of all the amazing sights to see. It had plenty of shower gel,shampoo and conditioner and you could also stock up on the 2nd floor if you needed more. Fresh croissants were in the lobby every morning which was perfect for our busy schedule. I loved the little touches like coffee and milk supplied and a bag of popcorn was laid out in the kitchen area of the room. There was lots of information on a iPad in the room for places to eat and for sightseeing. You could leave your luggage after check out,there was a small bathroom in the corridor for use after check out where we freshened up before our flight which even had hair straighteners in there for the ladies. This is defo a well thought out boutique hotel and I would highly recommend and if I ever returned to Montreal I would stay here again.

We had two rooms ... both very stylish, clean, comfortable and well thought out. The location was perfect for exploring the old town and port area; and was peaceful despite proximity to bars and restaurants. Having some communal space to relax or work in and a laundry at our disposal was great. And availability of coffee, croissant in the morning and fridge space was much appreciated.

Maison Saint-Vincent was a great place to stay. It's located close to many restaurants, many shops and a short walk away from the Vieux Port. Checkin was easy. All done with codes so very independent which we loved. The room was clean (room 302), spacious, the toiletries smelled amazing (local brand), the shower was comfortable, the bed was comfy. We had just flown in from overseas so we took a short walk around the neighborhood and went to bed early. Outside noise was not an issue from our room (though they had kindly provided earplugs which we didn't end up using). We had a couple of funny grannies in the room next door but once they quietened down, it was all good! Just sounded like they were happy to be there which didn't disturb our jet lag bedtime. Would come back.

The property is in a great central location is a historic building with Cafe Olimpica a few doors down which serves great coffee. The rooms are very well kitted out with kitchen, coffee maker and microwave with a nice seating area and sofa and breakfast bar. Everything was clean and the decor is really nice. Property was perfectly located in Old Montreal with great walking access to amazing restaurants, culture and shopping. The property was such a nice change from a hotel. Easy self serve check in and out with access to amenities and supplies. Spacious and clean apartment with comfortable bed, although pull out couch mattress should be upgraded, full kitchen, in suite laundry, large sitting and dining area and a shower with separate tub and shower. Such a lot for a very decent price. Only wish there had been more luggage storage for early arrival.

I had a great stay at the Sonder Lambert Hotel in Montreal this February. The King Bedroom Studio was spacious, clean, and had a modern design that made it feel really inviting. The fully equipped kitchen and in-suite laundry were a huge plus, making it super convenient. The location in Old Montreal was perfect—just a short walk to great restaurants and downtown. It was a cozy and comfortable spot to relax after exploring the city. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was located in an area that was convenient to a lively restaurant area, steps away from Notre Dame, and accessible by manageable walks to public transportation options. The room was very roomy and comfortable. It was also clean, quiet, and my son and I felt safe. Our room was right next to the elevator but there were no sound issues. I love that there was a washer and dryer available. The kitchen looked great but I didn’t use it (there was no dish detergent or dish rag/sponge. I also didn’t see any detergent for the dishwasher. The bathroom was a bit awkward since we had to close the door to use the sink. There was also very little to no countertop space in the bathroom. The drain cover was also unscrewed which was a bit icky. There was a nice deep tub for anyone wishing to soak in a tub. I wish there were more lockers for luggage storage or that they could be reserved ahead of time. It might also be helpful to provide some clearer directions for how to find the property. Our Uber driver did not know where it was and we were dropped off about a block and a half away (having to navigate our way through a strange place late at night). Overall, I would stay at this property again. We enjoyed our Montreal experience and felt like we were home when in the Sonder.

We loved our time in this huge studio apartment very well located in Old Montreal. We didn’t have a car. We were able to walk to everywhere and the nearest subway station was close. The apartment was very safe feeling, very quiet. We couldn’t even hear the bells from the basilica which was one block away. The room was clean and we liked no daily cleaning (though we could have asked for it) because that meant our belongings were safe while we were out during the day. The thermostat was easy to use and worked well. There was a walk-in/roll-in shower. Shampoo, Conditioner and shower gel were provided. There was a hair dryer. There was a huge bathroom medicine cabinet to store all your toiletries. A washer and dryer and dishwasher were provided. One caveat: none of our taxi drivers could find the address. Apparently, the address isn’t in their apps. Our taxi we ordered online for the airport upon leaving was 30 minutes late because of that problem. I would add cross streets if we stayed there again and indicate they need to use a different app to find it. Even provide a screen shot for them on the map. Not sure why it isn’t located on the common apps. We will definitely consider staying there again!

From the moment we arrived the staff were exceptional. The reception staff were very helpful. The restaurant staff were amazing. The room was excellent. The food at the restaurant was great. The location next to Place Bell made for easy access to see our show. Walking distance so no need to drive. The Metro is across the street and so easy to get around Montreal A new hotel that is very clean and secure. Elevator access is controlled by your room key so you can only access your floor. Feels very safe. Underground parking garage which would come in handy during poor weather. One of the best hotels I have ever experienced.

The views (7th floor for our room, and there is a really nice terrace on the roof), the location is perfect: subway/bus station on the other side of the street, plenty of different restaurants really close by if you want something different than those at the hotel. The whole staff is friendly. Parking is plentiful and not too costly for the location. The room is cozy and comfortable. The elevators are clearly top-of-the-line (very fast and you feel almost no movement). Brand new hotel. Nice gym.

We were in town for a concert at Place Bell, and booked here, as this hotel is right across the street! That was our main reason for booking here, so we were thrilled to discover the hotel's quality, room set-up and cleanliness, comfort, and amazing customer service. Small room details such as a proximity-activated night light were nice surprises. The room has a safe, microwave, and small refrigerator by the desk, all hidden by cabinet doors. The parking was onsite and easy, and priced fairly also. Highly recommend, especially if you're seeing a concert at Place Bell! Note: they have a restaurant onsite (2nd floor) that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, but we didn't eat there this time. There is also a cute courtyard right outside the hotel that offers lots of casual food options.

Perfect location, walking distance from the metro and bus stations. The restaurant has excellent food and there is also many other restaurants and breakfast places in the area. The staff is very friendly and responsive

The place was so nicely decorated, attention to the smallest detail, fantastic. We loved our room and .. man… the bathroom was so big and comfortable and spotless clean. Also … pillows, not ordinary hotel pillows, these were so comfortable and nice! Worth mentioning, the house had a nice living room that everyone can use, nice balcony. In general the good vibe and atmosphere in this place stole our hearts. We were a bit concerned about our room- just next to the kitchen. But with door closed there was absolutely no noise, we were sleeping like babies when other guests were having their fast and chatting. Also the area is so nice, restaurants and stores just couple minutes away. last but not least- they have their website with all the important and useful information about Montreal and events- very useful for someone coming not knowing much what to do. Love love love and thank you again guys for hosting us, it was fantastic!

We stayed at Bed and Breakfast du Village BBV for one night only but the experience was nothing short of excellent. The location of property is in the heart of the Gay Village with access to a wide selection of restaurants and bars. The Metro station is just a couple of blocks away. The room was spotless and the hosts are just amazing. They are is very respectful and very social while ensuring that they provide you with the space and privacy you need. We arrived at around 8 PM for check-in and seeing the table already set-up with plates, napkins, cups, etc. for the breakfast was a warm welcome to us - much like how feel arriving at your own home. The breakfast itself was one of the highlights. What a wide variety of options to choose from! They even allowed us to park our car a few hours after the check-out time while we were exploring the city on foot. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean and centrally located accommodation in Montreal.

What an incredible location in the Gay Village—and a delightful start to every day with breakfast and light conversation. As an American, I had the great fortune of meeting both English and French-speaking guests at the breakfast table each morning, which made for unique interactions and learnings as a traveler. This is one of the great benefits of being in a shared space like this! Our hosts were friendly, full of knowledge, and provided helpful details about Montreal that greatly enhanced my adventures while I was in town. The unit I stayed in (behind the main house) had a private bathroom and plenty of space in a modern accommodation that felt wonderfully relaxing after a long day of exploring. I highly recommend this location to anyone who wants to be within walking distance of many great sites while still enjoying a cozy and relaxing vibe when your day is starting or ending in town. Sylvain was the perfect host - welcoming and generous of his time to set us up for an enjoyable stay -offering the best places to go to for the weekend. He spoilt us with delicious home cooked breakfasts with many homemade options. Our room was extremely comfortable and quiet and we loved access to the balcony in the afternoon before heading out for dinner.

The hostesses were extremely friendly and accommodating from the beginning to end. They really made our short stay most enjoyable. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable, which I really appreciated it. The breakfast was exceptional. Phillip pampered us with a delicious homemade early meal that included homebaked pastries and their very own Greek yogurt, a variety of fresh fruit, and so much more. We also liked the up and coming neighborhood feel.

The room was very clean and we had a great view as well. It felt very luxurious, especially while using the $500 DYSON hairdryer in the bathroom. Breakfast was good with real Montreal bagels. We are plant-based (vegan) and we had lots of options for breakfast: bagels, toast, peanut butter, fresh fruit (apples, bananas, mandarins), oatmeal, and coffee and tea - but we had to buy a container of plant milk and remember to bring it down with us every morning for our coffee and tea. The freshly ground coffee was really good and available ALL day! Staff was exceptionally hospitable and competent in both official languages. Umbrellas in the foyer were very much appreciated for the two days that it rained. The Avril grocery store is 4 minutes walk away if you want to buy some extra food for munchies or meals. The Palais the Congrais was across the street. Very central. We walked up the Mont Royal two days in a row as it was not very far. Also Old Montreal is very close for an evening promenade.

Such a beautiful hotel in a great location. Walking distance to old Montreal, but also saint Catherine street. This hotel is very close to two metro stations, which is very convenient. The rooms are very spacious and aesthetically pleasing. The hotel & rooms are very modern and clean. The breakfast is fantastic and very fresh with many options. The front desk staff were very friendly & helpful. I loved how they didn’t cheap out on choices for the rooms. The hairdryers are dyson, which is a huge plus. I always find using gore hair dryers added to my time getting ready in the mornings. I also loved how each room had a Mac desktop, which was very convenient for looking up things to do in MTL, or checking up on work related things. I’d recommend checking out pub Saint Pierre if you’re staying here.. they have the best cocktails in the area!! I would definitely stay at this hotel again!!

What I liked: The room was very comfortable and a good size. Netflix available, comfortable bed and bedding, useful sofa, convenient to Rue Ste. Catherine, restaurants and shopping. There's was plenty of space to put stuff and a good closet and drawers. You can open windows. Dyson hair dryer - I now want one. The street is not too busy, but in the center. Parking spot in front of hotel for loading and unloading luggage. Breakfast Included, I especially liked the spinach croissant and coffee maker. Staff were excellent! All so nice and made recommendations. Noon checkout is quite helpful and appreciated. I didn't use them, but I did see a gym and luggage storage. What I disliked: I prefer carpeting in room or at least a couple throw rugs. There was just linoleum. No parking. There is a car park at the convention center next door. It was reasonably priced on a Friday and Saturday March weekend and I had no trouble finding a spot. No in and out privileges, however. Breakfast was too carb heavy. Shower bath gel has an unpleasant smell. View of a parking lot was not horrible, but not nice. I'll be back in August and have no hesitation staying here again.

Absolutely AMAZING experience staying there for a week! This was by far the BEST hotel experience I’ve ever had! The rooms were luxurious and had so many wonderful details. They generously provided umbrellas on the rainy days, and I thought I would need to go buy one. The location is perfect. Less than a block from my conference, and close to EVERYTHING! I walked to China town and Old Montreal several times. I walked to Old Port and the museums. Eaton and several other shopping centers were very close! It is very conveniently located and central to all the places I wanted to visit. For farther tourism, it was convenient getting on the busses and metro. It felt like a studio apartment more than a hotel room. Everything was modern and extremely convenient. The gym was amazing, and I was able to work out every day seamlessly. The hotel staff was incredible, and I didn’t want to leave! I will most definitely be back again and again! I’d love to come to Montreal for a month and stay at this hotel. It simply felt like home. We're so glad we upgraded our room to the petite suite, because it made our stay SO much more comfortable and fun. The jacuzzi in the bathroom was the cherry on top of an already luxurious stay.

We got a wonderful upgrade to a room with a fire and jacuzzi bath! The hotel is spotless and feels luxurious. My partner and I felt very welcomed and had a great stay.

The Nelligan is a great hotel and they honoured the VIP perk without having to ask. Had a beautiful room with a jacuzzi. Ate at both restaurants that are attached to the hotel so you don’t need to step outside. Really nice after a snowstorm . Food and service at both restos were great. Staff at hotel was great.

I was impressed by the personal touch provided by Christiana before we arrived. Christiana assisted with our restaurant reservation at Henri Restaurant inside the Hotel. She assured me that we would be well taken care of and we were. It was my birthday so we decided to stay at the hotel as we were eating at the Hotel’s restaurant. This hotel makes its clients feel special simply by the fabulous service they provide from the staff on the front desk and from Sylvain, the Maître’d and Christiana in the Restaurant. When we came back to our room after dinner, there were bottles of water. We loved our 3-day stay in this stylish hotel. Our room was modern and sophisticated with dark wood and beige ascents that helped create a relaxing environment. The bathroom with its modern amenities was spacious and had a wonderful rain shower. We also had a beautiful view of the Church from the room. The room provided the perfect respite after a day of visiting museums, shopping, and sightseeing. Another reason to stay at The Birks Hotel is their fabulous restaurant called Henri Brasserie Françise. This is one hotel that is a must to stay at if you are going to visit Montreal. You will not be disappointed.

We had an exceptional stay at Hotel Birks in Montreal. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown, with Philips Square just outside our window and many of the city’s top attractions, shops, and restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was clean, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with a lovely view of the square. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Every member of the staff we interacted with was incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, always making us feel welcome and taken care of. The valet staff were especially helpful and courteous, making arrivals and departures seamless. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of fantastic, and we would absolutely recommend Hotel Birks to anyone visiting Montreal.

Overall pleasant stay at the Birks as a family of 4 (husband + boys aged 10 and 13 years). Room was quiet, beautiful, and clean with a very nice view overlooking the square. As other reviews have mentioned, the sliding doors from inside the room which reveal the toilet and shower through glass was.…odd. But my kids got a kick out of it. All staff we interacted with were very friendly, though on check in we were told by one staff that breakfast at the restaurant in the morning was “complimentary” for us, which it turned out not to be (perhaps a language translation issue?). We decided to eat there anyway and it was very tasty (and very large portions - luckily my kids decided to share a dish and even then they couldn’t finish everything). The only real issue we ran into was that our boys were staying on a pull out couch as there weren’t any rooms available for us with two beds, and the pull out couch was incredibly uncomfortable. The mattress was very thin, and got thinner towards the end of the bed as old pull outs tend to do, so neither kid could sleep well at all (and one ended up in the bed with us at 4am to try and get some sleep). Thankfully we were only staying one night, but we would have had to change rooms or hotels if we’d been staying longer than that. It was a pity, as the actual bed was incredibly comfortable. Overall I would return, but I wouldn’t risk anyone having to rely on the pull out couch next time.

St. Catherine street in Montreal has undergone tremendous change over the years. My memory stretches back to the mid 1970's. At one time the Hudson Bay and Birks anchored the center of the shopping district. Over the years this locus shifted to other areas and Birks closed its flagship store. The building has been repurposed as a hotel, and it reflects the elegance once associated with the Birks brand. The hotel entry is impressive, a restaurant and bar to the left, and the Birks retail outlet to the right. Parking is best done by valet as it is not obvious there are other options. We booked a room with a terrace overlooking the park - vibrant by day, much less so by night. Room was comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. The restaurant and bar was popular with the after work crowd, the food was quite good with an appropriate wine list. Steak tartare and salad niçoise with a nice pinot made for a satisfying light meal. By the way, the bar makes an excellent Caesar. The location, access to amenities, room comfort, and dining options make this an ideal hotel for a Montreal getaway.

The room was luxurious and very comfortable for our six night stay. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch that we made use of every day. The moment you enter the hotel the most pleasant scent is warm and inviting. It was so soothing I called the hotel to inquire what the scent was. Breakfast was really delicious and the bar area was relaxing after a long day, Cant wait to return this summer.

Great location. Easy to get around city from Metro only a couple of mins away. Main shopping street 5 mins walk. Staff helpful and friendly. Very clean and loft room had plenty of room for family of 4 (two huge beds). Pool and jacuzzi was also great to chill after long day.

The 12th floor. In general this is a great place to stay at in Montreal. It has all you need and you can relax in the spa, go to the pool and the sauna. The rooftop with the jacuzzi has an amazing view of the city.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my family. It was very clean, the rooms were spacious, and the location was very convenient. Valet parking was free to enter and exit, and there was no waiting time. The room was equipped with bathrobes and slippers for both children and adults, which was very helpful. Nespresso coffee was also provided. The indoor pool was clean, and there was a sauna, which was very comfortable. The only downside was that the outdoor jacuzzi was under construction and could not be used. Overall, but I was very satisfied. I would like to stay here again when I go to Montreal.

I stayed at this hotel hoping to use the jacuzzi but it is under construction until the summer so that was a little disappointing. The jr suite was cozy & had a balcony which was a bonus. Bed was comfortable too. This hotel is in the center of Downtown Montréal & is walking distance to shops & restaurants & metro station.

Great hotel to stay at in the center of downtown Montreal. It's right next to the Bell Centre and some famous restaurants like Okeya Kyujiro. Everything from the reception, lobby, room and facilities are great as well. I highly suggest you take a look at the 12th floor's pool, spa and outdoor jacuzzi - it's a really nice setup that you can't easily find in other hotels.

We travel often and this is one of the best hotels that we have visited. Absolute perfection! The bed was so comfortable, that we asked for the brand name. The shower and water pressure was the best we've ever had. The decor was modern and the room was very clean. The breakfast included many protein options including ham, boiled eggs, cheese, and yogurt. The bread selection varied from local bakeries, including bagels daily from St. Viateur. We love that they support local businesses! Complimentary coffee, tea, and fruit all day was a nice treat and the teas came from a local tea shop. The best part of the hotel was the amazing staff! Everyone was so friendly, helpful and made you feel right at home. Don't hesitate to ask for recommendations for restaurants, directions, or more. Andrea and her colleagues were so happy to help. Excellent location in the Old Port near the Basilica, riverfront, restaurants, galleries and markets. Though it is small as the name implies, it has the feel of an upscale hotel without all the glitz. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating, particularly Andrea and Laurence. They went out of their way to be helpful with suggestions on things to do and where to eat. The room was simple, but comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very nice with fresh croissants, coffee or tea, fresh bread, eggs, juice etc.

On the top floor we enjoyed the pool, fitness center, terrace, and even a coin-operated laundry (washer and dryer are $3 CAD coins each, with small boxes of detergent available at the front desk). One evening we picked up takeout from a nearby restaurant, started our laundry, and relaxed on the terrace with dinner while watching the sunset—such a treat. The location is excellent too: Phillips Square park is just up the street, with shops, restaurants, and Metro stations only a short walk away. Despite being so central, the room was wonderfully quiet. All the staff were helpful and welcoming, with a special shout-out to Joseph, the valet. We truly loved this hotel and would highly recommend it.

What a charming hotel. Right in the middle of the city square, it’s an old textile mill that was converted into this beautiful property retaining the old world character elegantly mixed with modern amenities. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of the main streets, malls, restaurants and bars where all the action is. We were there for the race day weekend and the atmosphere around town was electric and the staff despite a full hotel unflustered. They went r about their business with a friendly smile and stellar efficiency. Our room was large two queen sized beds a fully operational kitchentte complete with dishwasher, toaster and cutlery should one be inclined to fix a little something. There is the one breakfast dining option though open from 0600-1000. Breakfast is standard fare cold cuts, boiled eggs, bagels, toast, cakes, fruits, yogurt, tea and coffee that sort of thing no hot made to order stuff here but it’s filling and the coffee is good. One can order room service though and it comes from a restaurant or kitchen nearby. There is no dining option at the hotel itself besides breakfast. The pool and pretty well equipped gym are on the terrace so fitness junkies can get their dose of adrenaline. The staff are courteous, helpful and friendly. All in all a remarkable hotel and highly recommended on your next visit to Montreal.

This hotel is wonderful. It has a fantastic location for visiting Montreal, providing easy walking distance to many attractions. Bus route 747 guarantees easy and convenient access to YUL. Gare Central is three blocks from the hotel, but the neighborhood is quiet, pleasant, and beautiful. The hotel itself is very classy and always spotlessly clean. The rooms are incredible and so spacious that the hotel feels like an apartment hotel. They have a large, comfortable bathroom with high-quality towels. The beds and pillows are excellent. A 55" TV with impressive quality. Large windows with curtains that allow you to completely black out the room. A fully equipped kitchen. The complimentary breakfast is very complete and well-stocked. In short, it provides a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Many dining options of different levels are within walking distance. If you're traveling to Montreal on a budget but want exceptional quality, Le Square Phillips is the hotel for you. Oh, in addition to the hotel's own restaurant, consider the pizzeria Il Focolaio, just a minute's walk away from the hotel on the right; you won't regret it. And be sure to visit the hotel's pool area, which, in addition to having a fitness room, offers stunning views of the hotel's neighborhood.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The suite was huge, with 2 very comfortable queen size beds, a fully equipped kitchenette and a spacious bathroom. It was very quiet, and the included breakfast, while basic, was good. The best part was the location, near metro stations, lots of dining establishments and totally walkable to everything, including Old Montreal. I didn’t have time to use the pool, gym or terrace but they looked nice and clean. The hotel staff were all helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is perfect! It's a short walk from both the bus stop from the airport and the central train station. It is an easy walk to Old Monreal, Mt. Royal, Place de Arts, and several other fun hubs. I would stay here again! The breakfast was perfect for fueling up for a fun day, but not heavy - there are breads, bagels, hard boiled eggs, cold cuts and cheese, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt... The staff went above and beyond for us. We needed AAA batteries and the maintenance staff gave us some and didn't charge us for them. They were helpful whenever we asked for directions or had any other requests. Highly recommend. The room we had was large and had a little kitchenette so if you were there for a long stay, you could self cater to a lesser extent.

Fantastic location, convenient to many restaurants and attractions. Staff were very professional, as well as friendly and attentive. Restaurant Gaspar is conveniently located - accessible from the hotel, and was a cozy romantic spot with great food. Our room had river view, with old giant windows, perfect for enjoying the view and the sun, and maybe enjoying a coffee. (there is a nespresso machine in the room.) We loved our stay!

Beautiful and cozy property! Welcoming staff eager to provide a helping hand (or cup of tea). Bottle of wine and cookies left in our room. Tasty breakfast from the hotel restaurant at ground level and a fantastic coffee house (Olympico) a two min walk away. Lobby provided tea, coffee and cookies each afternoon. Many other attractions and restaurants within walking distance (Olive and Gourmand for morning treats, Cafe Stash for cozy Polish food and pianist, Bota Bota spa and many museums).

Amazing location, very warm, friendly and helpful staff. The lobby is spacious and comfortable and a great place to sit and chat with family. The terrace bar is convenient with excellent views of the city and fireworks at night in the summer.

We loved the ambiance of this charming auberge! It has the delightful combination of old stone and brick walls together with all the modern conveniences we have come to expect - comfortable bedding, spacious bathroom with a great shower, tv and small fridge, and good internet service included. Our family had 2 rooms, one facing the port and St. Lawrence River, the other overlooking Rue Saint-Paul with its shops and sidewalk restaurants. The staff were wonderful - very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the adjoining Bistro. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was only a couple of blocks from where we disembarked at the end of our cruise, so instead of having to wait in a long line for a taxi, we had a lovely walk through a park (so glad our luggage has wheels!) We have never, in our entire lives, had such an incredible experience at a hotel as we had at Hotel Place d'Armes in Old Montreal. We stayed two nights. The first night the whole hotel was booked because of an upscale wedding party. We were in a room on the main floor and so had more noise and obstacles in the hallway than usual for a hotel of this caliber. The second morning we talked the staff at the desk and they apologized for the inconvenience and while we were gone that day they moved our bags to a different room, with our permission. Upon our return we were treated to a 7th floor room we've only seen in movies. It is a two story apartment (did you read that? two stories!) with a main floor living room and upstairs a bedroom, incredible bathroom with jacuzzi, shower and mirrors. The whole apartment has old world feel because of the exposed brick and a new feel because of the amazing open bathroom. The whole place was spacious and jaw-droppingly gorgeous. We immediately went back to the main desk and expressed our gratitude. The staff was amazing, laughing with us at our pleasure, telling us how happy they were that we were happy. All and all, we say again, we have NEVER had such a wonderful experience at a hotel and don't know if anyone can surpass the service we received and the beautiful room we experienced. We HIGHLY recommend the Hotel Place d"Armes Old Montreal.

I was in the oldest part of the building, and I loved the old world charm with exposed brick wall and arched window in my small Queen room. After long days of touring, the bed was like a cloud. The rooms were elegant, clean, and well kept. Towels were plush and plentiful. The wooden floors squeaked a bit and there was a little dark mould in the corner of the shower. Water pressure was good and hot. The wifi was also good. The room included a stocked mini bar and good coffee selection, and there was also coffee and fruit-infused water in the lobby. The location was stellar, right off the square, and close to metro and bus stops. The Spa was excellent; I enjoyed the steam room and massage. Roof top bar and breakfast in La Brasserie were fine. Didn’t try the sushi restaurant as I ran out of time. The hotel definitely lent luxury and European elegance to my Montreal experience. It is in a safe, central location with friendly staff, and fine finishes.

Everything was just PERFECT! The staff is so professional genuinely friendly and helpful. Everyone from the front desk , valet, concierge etc went out of their way to make our stay special. Nespresso coffee maker , cozy bathrobes, such nice touches. The slick black and white bathroom was huge and had an amazing shower ! The bedroom was beautifully decorated, and quiet . This hotel is my all time favorite hotel in Montreal and I look forward to another visit !

Our spacious modern room on the 26th floor offered a sweeping view of the Montreal downtown through its huge semi-circled window. The hotel was recently renovated and everything was absolutely perfect: amazing massaging rainfall shower in the bathroom, comfortable beds with sparkling clean sheets, Nespresso machine and tea kettle, excellent air conditioning, and the most welcoming service. Loved the valet parking - so convenient! And the location just can’t be better! Beautiful, safe, convenient to all attractions. We could not have been happier with our choice of hotel.

Amazing stay with my spouse. Easy check in, upgraded to 32nd floor with M Lounge access. Room was clean, and had an amazing view of old Montreal. Room was well stocked and windows could be opened for fresh air as needed. After reading reviews and hearing about an amazing Concierge named Ian, we were so fortunate to meet him on our floor and he invited us to his desk to discuss things to do and eating recommendations. A huge thank you to Ian for taking the time to help us, as it was our first time in Montreal. You are truly an asset to this hotel. M Lounge was great, well stocked with snacks, water and pop and we enjoyed the appetizers and the breakfast offered. We made use of the access to the Metro right from the hotel, so nice as it was raining. We were able to walk to all the shopping downtown, Old Montreal and to several restaurants. Highly recommended, we will be returning.

Elegant & Charming. Excellent choice! I’ve been a Marriott Platinum traveler for almost 20 years and honestly this is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The property is in great shape, it’s updated with comfy rooms and all the modern amenities. Our hotel room view of downtown area on 17th floor was amazing. The staff is courteous, attentive and extremely professional. Daniel at Front Desk and Leon in the M Lounge were especially awesome. I’d suggest the Valet parking as the self-parking is a little complicated as in most downtown hotels in big cities. The valet guys are great too. Last but not least, the location is very convenient. Very safe and easy and close to everything. In summary, we loved our stay. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks for making our family vacation trip an enjoyable and delightful experience.

The M club lounge for Bonvoy members is large, well maintained, serviced properly, and has a broad variety of snacks and hot dishes for both breakfast and dinner time.

We booked three rooms for four nights at the Marriott Montreal and had a wonderful stay. The rooms were spacious with breathtaking views, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The Alt in Montreal is located in a central district of Montreal, not too far from the river. It is surrounded by skyscreapers and condo's leaving little room for view. The reception has a modern and homy design touch and personnell is friendly. Elevators efficient, but noisy. The room has a plain modern design and the bed is comfortable. Not particularly attractive is the semi-worn carpet and the plastic bathroom floor. The sunshades can only adjust their angle but cannot be lifted, which is comehow bothering. The bathroom is clean and a wooden bench rather helpful. The shower is a little weird since you cannot adjust. A negative, like in many hotels : no bidet... It is nice to have an in-room Nespresso machine, although the position on a rather high shelf and unclear operating isntructions may ... make you struggle. Vaue for money? ... not that good.

I loved everything. First the parking right under the building- safe if you have a thule box full of skis for example - allows you to roll your suitcases right up to your room. I love the lobby area with the lounge, and the snacks and beverage area, as well as the adjacent juice shop. I used the gym which I had all to myself. And I loved the room, it is so well appointed with perfect furniture, comfy bed, perfect lighting, very modern and well designed bathroom. It had everything I needed, including nice products in the shower and a shower cap.

Overall the hotel and rooms are clean, modern and well located with very easy access to local restaurants/cafes and everyday needs (pharmacy/grocery). The hotel is also within walking distance of the train station, old town and easy metro/public transport for access to other parts of Montreal. The lobby is welcoming and multi-functional which suited us as a place to relax (outside the room) and get some respite from the heat. It was nice to have some quick meals/breakfast available too from the shop area in the lobby. Inside the room, the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for clothing and personal possessions in the main room. Finally, the staff were always available, helpful, and pleasant.

Reception is extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is super pet friendly- provided a bed and bowls for the dog. Parking is underground, safe and easy access to hotel. Room is very modern and clean. Location is great!

I have been in Montreal several times for business, meetings etc! But always in old Montreal or business district. Never in this part of town. This time was an unfortunate situation as I had to pay a visit to a family member at Jewish General Hospital of Montreal and this hotel was the closest. I got a good deal from Booking.com and stayed for one night. I had no idea about the location, hotel amenities and the brand. It was beyond my expectations! Rooms were clean, modern and stylish but also very practical, equipped with all kitchen stuff as well as the full kitchen. Nice cafes, restaurant, pastry shops and 24 hour metro grocery store in walking distance around the hotel. There is a very cute bookstore infront of the hotel as well as the best bakery, 24 hour coffee shop and McDonald’s all infront of the hotel. Paul the receptionist was very nice and helpful. There is a garage for parking the car. The parking is a bit tight but at least it is safe for the cars. The view of the church from the room at night was amazing. The area is nice and and safe. This is a an amazing hotel for families. Lovely neighbourhood and many choices of restaurants. I will definitely come back!

The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, perfect for a longer stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and be autonomous. The fireplace added a cozy touch, and the gigantic bed was incredibly comfortable. The modern decoration, perfectly placed television and sofa, and the balcony (though unused in winter) were highlights. The hallways were also very modern and well-organized.

This is a really nice boutique-style hotel in an area with lots of shops and restaurants, plus access to the Metro. Our room faced the back of the hotel, so there was no view, but it was incredibly quiet. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice. The staff members were helpful. We parked on a nearby residential street. An excellent stay.

Such a nice surprise to see the spacious, 2-room suite! Everything was spotless - and efficiently designed. The walk-in closet was so useful. Our 4th floor room opened onto a tiny balcony and street-watching was entertaining. Nice location- lots of shops, restaurants close by - wonderful croissants & coffee just across the street. Terrace Royale is the most wonderful place to stay in Montreal! The hotel is extremely clean, quiet, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's in a great location with plenty of dining options nearby and everything within walking distance. The front desk staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Ample Free Parking available. Everything you need is right there - restaurants, bars, shopping, groceries, cafes, liquor store, spa, etc. The staff were all very professional, attentive, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. The beds were so comfortable. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated.

It was a very modern hotel and very affordable with flexible cancellation policy and later check-out (at 12 pm). We were travelling for the solar eclipse and this booked this last minute. Yet the price was better than anything available considering how late we had to book due to a change in destination. The bathroom and rooms were very clean and it has a pretty lovely view since it is a tall tower and there are really no high-rises anywhere nearby. Lastly, since it is outside of Montreal, we have to arrive by car and there is very convenient free parking. The parking garage is part of the massive mall nearby, so there are plenty of spaces. We didn't do any shopping, because we were there to see the eclipse, but there are movie theatres nearby, pharmacies, fast food, and luxury stores (e.g. Apple). It was also close to the highway so it was very convenient to get on the highway to Sherbrooke.

Staff were amazing and very helpful. Room was lovely and comfortable. Hotel was clean, quiet and close to a lot of restaurants and stores.

We have tried a few other hotels in Brossard but Alt comes up TOP of the list now that we’ve tried it! Room was clean, kudos to housekeeping staff, especially one of the Sep 27-30 staff on the 14th floor! Great job! Front desk staff were wonderful and very helpful. Text messages with our requests were answered promptly and taken care of efficiently. Breakfast deal added to our room was worth it, Cafe du Theatre next door was very good! Other than not having a safe or a fridge in the room, everything was almost perfect. I, for one, have always liked the ’ Germain’ brand, and Alt did not disappoint. Thank you team! We shall be back!

We stayed one night at this hotel enroute to Vermont. The first striking feature is the neighbourhood. Very new and modern. Felt very safe. The hotel is nearly brand new. Plenty of free parking (make sure to get a ticket from the front desk). An added perk was the free EV charging. We were upgraded to an executive room as Marriott Gold members. The room was modern, very clean and incredibly spacious. Bathroom was modern with a large shower. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Two downsides: the thermostat was not very customizable. It’s centrally controlled and we found the room to be warm in the Montreal heat. The second downside was the quality of the towels. They were pretty thin and the tag indicated “institutional quality” that made us think of a jail lol.

Very nice hotel worth friendly staff. Very nice modern rooms which are very comfortable. The only thing to note is that there is no breakfast restaurant, but there is a small Starbucks in the foyer where you can get drinks and breakfast food. I had the hot breakfast muffins and they were great! The hotel is a short walk from a metro station that quickly takes you into central Montreal

Check-in and check-out was super quick and easy. The room was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, there was minimal noise affecting the room, even the A/C unit was super quiet. The location is convenient and easy to find. Lots of restaurants etc within walking distance. I don’t know the area very well (we were just passing through) but it seems pretty centralized. The parking is technically offsite but it’s underground and pretty close to the hotel, this wasn’t an issue for us. We recommend and will likely choose this hotel again when visiting the area.

The hotel is very welcoming and very clean and updated. I would say the rooms are pretty nice and very tech oriented which is good for travelers. The bathroom is spacious and clean, and the bed area has plenty of plugs and usbs for all tech needs. My only issues were the bed felt very soft and almost time for a replacement, it was not comfortable for me. The other issue was the A/C I found that it did not push out enough air, it was only set to 1 fan and the lowest it would go was 20 C which I think is 70° other than that the hotel stay was pleasant and the staff was friendly. Also the parking is great since it’s free and the only thing I would say is the area gets busy so try to park earlier as the spots fill up closer to the hotel elevator.

I stayed at this hotel because it’s very convenient. Once you get out of immigration, turn right and follow the signs, you are a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The lobby is spacious and modern, it also has a restaurant and bar area. My room was spacious with a nice mattress and modern shower bath room. No bath tub. What make this hotel outstanding is it executive floor services. There is a full compliment breakfast in the morning and in the later afternoon they serve appetizer with a full bar. Overall great stay

This is an excellent hotel if you have an early flight or simply want to be near the airport, as you are literally attached to the airport building. The room was spotless, large and bright. Very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom (shower & toilet) was also clean, spacious and stylish. The fitness room was also excellent, having space, a variety of machines and a good range of free weights. The restaurant/bar was also great, only slightly let down by the presence of some very loud guests who used a great deal of profanity. The club sandwich was delicious, the beer cold and clean, and the two-man acoustic entertainment fantastic.

The in-terminal hotel was very convenient. Our flight landed at YUL a little after 9pm. After we got out of the plane and got our suitcase, it was already 10pm when we arrived at the reception. Very easy to find. We enjoyed a late dinner (the restaurant was open until 11pm). The room is comfortable, spacious and clean. Perfect one night stay for a layover with the kids.

Very nice reception, rooms, everything was clean, the breakfast was great. I made the reservation after losing a flight and it's great that the hotel is at the airport and you can just walk there. My reservation was with breakfast included but when I arrived at the lounge on the 9th floor, my key card was not working. The Marriot staff responsible for the lounge, Sonia, was great and told us to have breakfast and then fix this with the reception. Sonia is very kind, attentive and has a great way of handling this kind of situation for the customer. After losing a connection and having zero support from AirCanada, we picked this hotel and what could have been another stressful situation about the breakfast, became a very good experience after meeting someone as attentive to the customer needs and rights as Sonia.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Centropolis, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options nearby. It was very convenient to explore the area. The hotel's modern design and decor created a sleek and welcoming atmosphere. The lobby and common areas were stylish and inviting. Lobby impressive, room spacious, bed comfortable and staff friendly. Breakfast sterile and breakfast is ordinary; room lacked trash bin (only one in washroom). For an hotel in this price range, we would have expected hand lotion, conditioner and a shower cap. We have had better value for the price.

We were in Laval for a girls weekend, where we did 3 hard core escape rooms at Escaparium Laval. This hotel was just a few kms away from Escaparium Laval, ~10min drive, thus why we picked it. The price was also very fair, around 250 per night for standard 2 doubles. To our surprise, the hotel is very clean, modern, and spacious, the best you can get for North American hotels. The bedding was very comfortable (proper duvet, not the fake blanket type), black out curtain on point, water pressure is awesome! We also had breakfast at the hotel, and went to Sofia the pizzeria downstairs. In addition, walking distance to L'avenue. Highly recommend!

The staff was exceptional. They were very professional and courteous. We were in town for a hockey tournament and most of us only spoke English and we were happy to have staff members that spoke both English and French which made our conversations with staff members very easy. Rooms were clean and big enough to accommodate us. The location was perfect as it was close to restaurants and stores for us to visit.

Great location. The staff are very friendly. The jacuzzi on the rooftop is awesome. We enjoyed all the facilities during our stay. Although I stayed in a 12-person room, the room was very quiet and everyone respected each other.

The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable and it had a lovely bathroom. The pool and jacuzzi were excellent, I could lap swim up and down the pool as it was a long pool. It also had a sauna which was great. The underground parking was brilliant.

Room 721 we will be returning to this property as we had a great time everyone was amazing. Jacuzzi was not working but that was of food in the restaurant was amazing also staff were all great. Great Job!

Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, clean, quite modern. Furnishings are a bit spartan. Some things need maintenance. For instance the hose to the shower head had a leak, and the fixture on which the hairdryer hangs was coming out of the wall. Also no actual glasses in the rooms just cardboard coffee cups. But nice to have a nespresso machine in the room, glasses provided happily upon request, very friendly staff. Also some great places to eat and have coffee very close by. Attractive lobby and restaurant/bar. Good value. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Location of the hotel in the heart of Montreal was perfect for us. Self parking was also easy for me. We had one dinner and one lunch at the hotel restaurant. Both meals were very good. We had a large corner room with a view of the town. Our room and the beds were comfortable. Services provided by house keeping, restaurant and front desk staff were professional and friendly. I enjoyed my morning walks in the neighborhood of the hotel.

I love the cleaning team (Mainly Rodrigo :). If you’re concerned about it, forget. Everyone is friendly, helpful and responsive. - Security: i’m from brazil so i feel safe in any place 😅 Just kidding, the holly place looks safe for me, there is lockers, cameras and NFC KEY (Bring your 🔒 or buy one her) - Breakfast: Banana, Apple, Beages, bread, milk, granola, cereal, jelly, I think nutella, peanut butter and a few other things. I just miss protein, but overall it's good. Be creative. - Location is perfect, impossible get something better. If you’re inspired you can meet the holly downtown just walking. Or you can use the public transport, because is very close, efficient and fast. (try it before spent money with uber)

Location: Good value for what you pay. I was concerned of shady area and st catherine but this place had no issues even at night. The neighbourhood felt very comfortable as solo women traveler. It's also right beside a metro station so that helps a lot. Breakfast: Classic bagel and toppings provided with some juice and coffee. I was dropping my luggage at 9am but wasnt supposed to get my room until 4pm but the staff very generously offered complimentary breakfast which I appreciated a lot after a red eye and commute issues (there was active transit strike within Montreal during my stay). Facilities: they have a bar and kitchen downstairs which is a great opportunity to meet people and hangout by yourself. Lot of areas to sit quietly if you prefer or just hangout with people around. The dorms themselves felt a little too cramped for the space but it shouldn't matter if you are in and out for the night. Staff: the staff was super friendly, very welcoming and generous.

The perfect hostel - comfy and private beds, clean rooms and toilets, calming co-working spaces and awesome social area/bar and breakfast. Plus the staff are so kind, helpful and welcoming! Could not recommend more :)

Breakfast was pretty much bagels, bread, pastries, cold cereal, fruit, but it was really good and items replenished constantly. The coffee was excellent. Guests were responsible for washing their own dishes. The breakfast/bar/games room was roomy with lots of tables and chairs, couches, lots of games, books etc. There was a lovely outside sitting area off the breakfast room as well. We had a large room with our own bathroom. The bed was large and very comfortable. The room had shelves and cubbies for storing clothing and other items. I had never stayed in a Hostel before, but I would definitely stay here again. The location was close to the train station, Old Montreal, Mont Royal, many great restaurants etc. l

Had the loveliest time here! The staff were all so nice and welcoming, I’d had a few bad hostel experiences recently and this one absolutely restored my faith in hostels! Very clean and in a great location, I arrived early but was allowed to leave my bags and even have breakfast! The staff created a welcoming atmosphere at the bar which made it easy to meet new people and the karaoke night was so much fun, would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Montréal! This is a lovely hotel. The staff were all very friendly, warm and helpful. My room was clean, quiet and elegantly designed with an incredible view of the Cathedral. Being only a few minutes' walk from the central station, the hotel was extremely well located. A bus to the airport goes straight past the door making it simple and cheap to get to your plane. I had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs and it was fresh and delicious, served with excellent coffee, in a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of natural light. I didn't have time to swim in the pool but it looked beautiful too.

Le Centre Sheraton in Downtown Montreal is a good hotel located minutes from Bell Centre and walking distance from many restaurants, shops, clubs and bars. Its an older and large hotel. You can see the building is older with the art deco style elevators and parking level entrances but the hotel has been updated and feels very modern. The rooms are comfortable and clean and have great views of downtown Montreal. The restaurant in the main lobby has a great vibe and its very spacious and fun for late night drink or dinner. We spent our days at local restaurants but ended up in the lobby restaurants for late night wine. There is also a Starbucks at the entrance with its own entry from the hotel so you don't have to go outside in the cold. The staff here is mostly nice and accommodating. The parking is a bit tough.. it gets filled very quickly even though there are many levels, the spots are also small as its an old building and the spots were designed for older smaller cars. Overall its great location and good value to be downtown Montreal.

Perfect location in the middle of old town. Every amenity you could want with a fabulous coffee & pastry shop for the morning, 2 rooftop cocktail spots and restaurants with great food! Another attached restaurant that stays open later which I think also serves room service and breakfast the next day. The little sitting area/library with bar was also very nice and staff were amazing. They upgraded us to the best room overlooking the old town square and Ferris wheel which all lights up at night. Upon arrival they had a beautiful tart and bottle of champagne with a birthday note waiting for us in the room. It’s the little things that make it special and we will definitely stay there again!

The location was excellent - a quiet street around the corner from great streets for walking, eating, sightseeing, etc. The concierge was outstanding - In addition to making great suggestions for restaurants and tours,she went out of her way to find medical assistance for a member of our group. The rest of the staff were very welcoming and efficient. The rooms were not huge, but were very comfortable - comfortable beds and great pillows! The housekeeping is the only element of this hotel where it fell short - our rooms were not made up until after 5:30 at night - we did not get clean towels and the waste baskets were not emptied. The cocktail lounge was great - interesting seating and attentive staff. All in all a great stay!

Everything about our stay at the William Gray hotel was absolutely amazing. The service from all staff we encountered was beyond exceptional, the hotel room was clean and upscale even for their most basic option. The bed/pillows were super comfortable and the shower water pressure was next level. To top it all off the spa was luxurious and professional, one of the best massages I’ve had. Will definitely be back as soon as possible!

The room was so comfortable. Spa Shower was amazing, love love loved the rooftop bar (great wine, reasonably priced), near all the old town spots (plus close to trains to get away). This hotel worked perfectly for what we needed - a three day getaway with an elderly family member. A solid stay but for the price, just a few things to mention. I’d absolutely stay again, especially in summer when the terrace and pool would be open. I see in reviews some staffing concerns but the valet, front desk and a special recognition of the lounge and restaurant staff, we found everyone helpful, friendly, professional and kind. Pros: room was spacious, the Nespresso machine, comfy beds, table and cool chairs, the lounge and restaurant (if pricey), great location, the bakery on 1st floor, easy walking distance to sites. Elevator comes quickly (this mattered as stayed in high floor) Cons: housekeeping was good but timing was either 1st thing in morning or late in the day, light switches are in odd places, you can hear some hallway noise, not enough storage, water was not hot in shower.

Check in took a little while as the gentleman was dealing with a costumer who wanted all her rooms on the same floor, but after about 10 minutes another gentleman stepped out and took care of me. he was friendly and efficient and very welcoming. the suite was roomy with an amazing view, was very clean and cozy. my dog and i felt right at home. room service was quick and the quick bite i grabbed at the restaurant was delicious. the 24h hour gym is a great bonus and has good equipment. i can't wait to come back in the summer when the terrasse and outdoor pool are open 👌

The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of dozens of restaurants and coffee shops. The staff is friendly and professional, providing excellent service. The complex combines residential apartments with a few lounges and restaurants, creating a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. The bakery adjacent to the hotel is a great option for breakfast. The gym is spread across two levels and offers a good variety of equipment. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped with nice amenities. We stayed in a corner room with plenty of natural light and high ceilings, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Beyond stunning hotel in AAA+ location with exceptional food, service and amenities! We can’t say enough about Humaniti - stunning building with amazing restaurants and lounges plus dining at the gorgeous Terrace restaurant overlooking the pool. Rooms are beautiful with ultra comfy beds and bedding, organic supermarket and a bakery/sandwich shop on site and when you walk out your are situated right between the Old Port and St Katherine St which are two of the must see neighborhoods for shopping, dining and touring. All staff were amazing but special thanks to Sophia who welcomed us each day and helped with every question. Can’t wait to go back.

Bed was very comfortable, room was clean and well equipped. Shower was lovely and well stocked with shampoo, body soap and conditioner. Breakfast was very nice and there was a good variety of food. The coffee was super good. I slept really well. I could control the room temperature well and the curtains blocked out all the light so I could sleep late. Room was quiet. Reception staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant staff were lovely and friendly. The shuttle service worked great. You have to call them when you arrive at the airport and then they will send a driver. So I waited a little bit but the driver was very friendly. To the airport, the shuttle runs every half hour and reception will make sure you are booked. This was a good feature.

Nice hotel, adjoining another one, so some amenities are shared, which is not a problem. Very clean, modern, stayed in a unit with kitchenette, so very handy fridge, microwave, all the “fixins”, very usefull. Easy parking, for a daily fee though, private airport shuttle (did not use though!, very handy and useful when travelling by air!). Hotel is close to restaurants and some shops and a fairly large shopping centre. Also easy access from major highways and main streets in the vicinity. Nice pool and hot tub. Were very busy, noisy and crowded when we went at 2 different times, so decided not to jump in, and went back to room. Nice complimentary breakfast, nothing fancy but everything you want really, in a nice modern dining area. Staff extremely great, helpful and accommodating. Went for dinner at YUL restaurant in the adjoining hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, easy indoor walk, a few steps and you’re there. Mostly italian, excellent menu choices, meal was excellent and at a reasonable price. Waitress Cindy was so attentive, charming and extremely polite which added to the pleasure of eating out. Overall very happy with my stay, easy for me to recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

I have stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Airport many times, and t is now better than ever after an attractive renovation. Its location could not be better, with quick and easy vehicular access to the airport and to midtown and downtown Montreal, and movie theatres, restaurants and extensive shopping a short walk away. The always-excellent staff, from the prompt and friendly airport shuttle driver, to the restaurant staff ladies whose friendly and personal attention have always made dining at the breakfast buffet a pleasure, to the super-friendly and accommodating Sebastian and every member of the front desk staff, all made this stay a particularly pleasant and memorable experience for me. Thanks!

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. It has always been and still is very clean, with very polite and helpful front desk staff, and an excellent breakfast which is a cut above most RI’s. ( we have stayed at over 30 RI’s). I requested that housekeeping bring up a few items in the early evening and the person came within five minutes. Now, the big question and conundrum: The hotel had a major renovation about a year ago. The rooms are lovely and modern. BUT, the dressers and living room furniture unit with drawers disappeared. The only place to put clothes is in four drawers in the closet. As well, the storage unit below the bathroom sink was removed so all toiletries have to be put on the small counter beside the sink. We stayed in a one bedroom. If you are here for a night or two, this would be fine, but if you stay for longer periods like we do , aside from the few storage drawers in the closet, you would live out of your suitcase which is far from convenient. In summary: a wonderful , modern, staffed well hotel but we would never stay in anl extended stay hotel like a RI without dressers if we were staying for longer than a few days.

A great hotel near the airport. Rooms are refreshed and clean. The kitchenette is well stocked and even has glass pyrex, complete with lids if you need to store leftovers. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is what you would expect from a Residence Inn. Overall, highly recommended. To note, the adjoining hotel, a Marriott Courtyard falls significantly short of this property. Stay here instead.

I'm truly blown away by this experience, it was more than I could ever have expected. There were 2 things I thought would make perfect even more perfect (spoiled as I was already) .. One was that the beyond amazing bathtub I was in was a jacuzzi. The other is that there were more options on the room service menu. Thank you to everyone for making this dream come true for me.

I went to the Ritz Montreal with my sister for the final leg of her Bachelorette trip. The customer service and ambience here is excellent all around. I also thought the central location and luxurious amenities (wood floors, beautiful hotel design, spacious rooms) were a good value. The Concierge team was especially helpful when I needed last minute restaurant recommendations. I planned my sister's Bachelorette itinerary but had trouble getting a reservation to a very popular/beloved local restaurant I really wanted surprise her with. I asked Dominque in the Concierge team for alternative restaurant recommendations because it was my first time traveling to Montreal. She spent time asking for detailed culinary preferences, time sensitivity, and the ambiance I was looking for. Everyone in the Concierge team also followed up and communicated with me proactively, which I really appreciated. I was honestly just happy to receive recommendations in general and I thought they were all great alternatives. However, Dominique went above and beyond by helping me secure a reservation at the original restaurant I wanted to book. We wouldn't have eaten at this specific restaurant without her help, and it ended up being our favorite meal in Montreal. The customer service at this hotel made my sister's Bachelorette celebration and our first trip to Montreal very memorable!

Efficient check in. Pre communication was superb. Personal touch by naming us each time we passed reception. Spotless room and great size. The room was well equipped. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. There was a very spacious walk in shower and bath tub. Typical of Ritz Carlton luxury. Breakfast was served in the restaurant on the rez de chaussee. Excellent service and choice of buffet or a la carte. Plenty of choice. A superb luxury stay for the connoisseur traveller.

We had a wonderful stay for five nights in a beautiful junior suite room and then 1 night in a signature king room Each time we stayed the welcome and friendliness of the front desk staff and doormen was exceptional The cleaning of the room and turn down service was always very good, and we were given small gifts of a lens cloth and lavender pillow spray on a few nights when staying in the junior suite. We also received some cookies on arrival and macarons on our last night, again extra touches which made the stay in the junior suite a bit special The bathrooms were amazing, with large showers and baths and a Japanese style toilet The beds were the most comfortable we have slept in and the room was very quiet The breakfast buffet was just ok and we had variable levels of service. We were charged for extra cappuccinos on one occasion when it should have been included in cost of buffet. We did have a disastrous afternoon tea experience in the bar on our last day as the service was in incredibly slow, it did not feel like a special experience at all. The vegetarian offering was also very poor as there were no sandwiches, just a selection of 5 canapés which was very disappointing. Apart from this, I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel as the rooms are fabulous and the front desk, doormen and housekeeping service are excellent.

The Ritz Carlton has become my new favourite "go to" spot for dinner and drinks in Montreal. The decor is very inviting with a large portrait of Audrey Hepburn overlooking the room, lots of large tables and comfortable couches and chairs with a view on the glamourous hotel entrance and illuminated bar area. The staff are particularly friendly and attentive, the food is delicious and the music creates a nice atmosphere (when there is not a loud wedding which happens from time to time in the adjacent ballroom). The gin & tonic is a classic, the oysters always fresh and the beef filet is tender and well-cooked with a rich sauce on the side. The kids have enjoyed the burgers which are also beautifully presented with the Ritz logo seared onto the brioche bun and served with a side of regular or sweet potato fries. Always reliable and good value. A very pleasant experience.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. Rooms are large but cozy, very quiet, with big windows and nice views (note that the windows don’t open). The beds and pillows are very comfortable, nice big bathrooms with a walk in shower. The service is friendly and polite. One big negative to flag is the coffee situation. The coffee provided in the room is simply foul - some disgusting no name brand to be used in single brew drip machine - and they only provide packets of powdered hydrogenated palm oil instead of cream or milk. There is also no coffee available in the lobby of the hotel. I don’t understand why a hotel as nice as the Westin would risk its reputation by cheaping out on coffee. This leaves such a negative taste in my mouth but is easily remedied.

We were in town for a conference but made it a great vacation as well. Located right across the street from the conference center, Le Westin is also convenient to Old Montreal. Just a few blocks from Notre Dame Cathedral and City Hall, there are many great restaurants within walking distance. The Old Port area is also close as is the Science Museum. I'm an adventurous walker and even walked to (and up) Mont Royal and to the Museum of Fine Arts. The room was spacious. We had 2 double beds. The entire hotel was super clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The gym and pool were great for a moderate workout. There are conference rooms within the hotel as well. The restaurant Gazette was good with good options. The coffee shop in Tour Saint Jaques was good, but didn't open until 8AM. So no early coffee there. The only on-site parking is valet which we used. The valet staff was great too. You have in and out privileges. Overall it was a great experience.

Beautiful, clean property in a convenient location in Old MTL. Didn’t have a chance to use the gym/pool or go to the restaurant. Room was very spacious and overall hotel was quiet and comfortable. I would rate the valet staff 5/5. Unfortunately check in and check out were a bit of a challenge. Our room wasn’t ready for check in time and the front desk person offered no apologies or sympathies. We asked how we’d know when the room was ready and it was our responsibility to come back and ask. We were going to go to the hotel bar for a drink but there were no restaurant staff around despite being open. Check out was a bit chaotic to get an elevator. Otherwise, we didn’t have any other interactions with staff.

The hotel is very central, large and has valet parking. At times valet parking and the availibility of staff was lacking. Seems very much a hotel for conference attendees. Pros: good view of the city, good size room, quiet, clean. AC/ heat very quiet. Cons: Memory foam mattress was not comfortable, although bedding was luxurious. The elevators were at times not functioning for 10 mins or more. It's averagely good but not amazing

Loved this place—spacious, comfy, and easy to relax after a long day. Valet was seamless: pulled up to the front, handed over the keys, and the attendant had us checked in and unpacking in minutes. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were tasty, and the big pool was a great break. The location made it simple to wander the old city and stroll by the river without fuss.
