Stayed here for 9 days - hotel is very professional and inviting.. the spa was excellent on a rainy day! Breakfast is a treat of local and continental cuisine, and the bar lively and service impeccable! Thank you, David! Our rooms were on the 6th floor - quiet, big and comfortable- lovely bathroooms with bath and shower. My bed however was 2 singles which was not great 🙃 there was also no bar fridge or mini bar, which was a big disappointment, as was the Euro 6.50 room service fee for 1 beer !!! Coffee station minimal - 2 sachets of coffee with powdered milk. Not quite what I expect at that price. Also held Euro50/day on top of room charge for room service/credit card charges! Overall - I'll be back!!

Hotel is a big business hotel, it has great spaces to relax, have a drink at the bar, enjoy a nice meal at the restaurant. We loved the breakfast, great cold and warm options, good quality and plenty restock for us late risers. Rooms were comfortable, they could use some refreshing here and there, just normal wear and tear, not bothersome. They were clean, space was adequate as we had 2 rooms for our family of 4. Parking is great, well structured, a few charging stations available for EVs at no additional cost! Staff is very friendly and helpful, we felt comfortable and welcome. The pool is very good, not too deep and suitably warm for kids and adults to enjoy and relax. Pool area is clean and there is also a nice spa area.

Great location close to Munich airport and the motorway. Clean, comfortable room with aircon. We had a tasty dinner on the terrace and a good breakfast. We also had a walk after breakfast to a lake nearby which was enjoyable before a long car journey.

Check-in staff were very helpful/friendly, but their directions to parking and Tower 2 rooms was confusing (quite a long walk from reception to Tower 2. Wish we had more time to use the pool and tennis courts. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet was excellent

A beautiful modern hotel with lovely spacious rooms , the hotel was immaculate , Marcel was brilliant at reception and checkin was easy , breakfast was very good. The spa in the hotel was amazing and relaxing , we had a late flight and used the facilities after checking out . I would definitely recommend this hotel if you need to be near the airport and want to enjoy a nice spa.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, but if you arrive from the airport with S1/S8 use the Isartor station, not Marienplatz because it is much easier to navigate and it is closer to the hotel. The hotel has a feeling of easy going youth, the staff is very friendly and relaxed, seemingly their motto is "Make the life of our guests as easy as possible, and don't stress during the process. It will all be good in the end". Breakfast is standard but tasty, they have the mandatory weisswurst and sweet mustard with pretzels, accompanied by various other tasty snacks and delicacies. To my surprise the standard scrambled eggs/omelette was way better than the ones we have tasted in other hotels. The room had a modernist twist to it, with some elements of industrialism which helped us settling in easily under the pipes listening to Alexa telling us jokes. The best part of the breakfast is that you literally can take the plates to your room, tea from a samovar just like in old times, freshly brewed coffee (delicious espresso) from a high end coffee machine is included by default... but we preferred sitting outside on the rooftop terrace and enjoying the meals in the friendly company of pigeons.

The Haus im Tal is absolutely my favorite hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming—they greet you with a smile and even offer you a drink upon arrival. They are always helpful and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. The showers are fantastic, adding to the comfort and luxury of the experience. I also love the rooftop terrace, which is a perfect spot to unwind and take in the surroundings. The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of delicious options to start your day. The hotel’s location is very convenient, easily reachable by taxi and public transport, making it a great choice for travelers

Great hotel in a great location. Our room was a king bed with a sofa bed. Big room, minimalistic in decor but made up with it in amenities: coffee machine, teas, ice in the bucket with a welcome cocktail mix and waters. Plenty of towels. The air condition worked even in the fall cold weather. Upstairs bar was welcoming. Came in after hours, they email me clear instructions for check in and room key pickup. Friendly staff. Location was amazing near the main plaza. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and a grocery right at my doorsteps.

Fantastic hotel, just a stroll away from Marienplatz and the clock towers. Room had a balcony which was a great size and got the sun all afternoon. Staff and service were incredible - really friendly, attentive and helpful. Rooftop bar was very cool and amenties were great. Provided a bed for our dog and lots of information about Munich and its bars & restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend!

Charming hotel with ample free parking (although the parking lot was small there was loads of on street parking for free in the area). The location was excellent as it was within walking distance to the castle, restaurants and the tram stop to Munich city center. The staff were friendly, welcoming, very helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was an authentic German breakfast with plenty of different types of fresh bread rolls, cheeses, cold meats and spreads. Would definitely recommend staying here and would do so again without hesitation

Excellent location just a short walk from a tram stop going direct to city centre and close to large park, great for walks, beer garden, activities. Although very quiet and peaceful setting and no noise disturbance whilst in the hotel. Room clean and comfortable and travel cot provided. Nice bathroom with great rainfall shower. Relaxed & friendly atmosphere. Tasty continental breakfast available. Flexible check in.

It was a really comortable, perfectly located cozy hotel. It was easy to get to from the Munich's Hauptbahnhof. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was cozy and clean. In my case, I had booked a double room but due to high occupancy had been asked to take a single room with offered compensation for the change. The single room was perfect for my needs. Everything was clean and cozy.

Second time we've stayed here. Was great once again. Will be happy to stay here again anytime. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds firm, but one of the more comfortable in Europe. Bathroom was large and spacious with everything you need available. One block away from the largest beer garden in Bavaria (we walked here for dinner - highly recommended). Breakfast at hotel was yum with great choice. Mini bar in the room was nice too.

Exceptional and friendly customer service. The room was clean and quiet. European breakfast with meats, cheese, bread, yogurt, hard boiled eggs which was nice, with an automatic coffee machine and tea. The hotel is in a safe neighborhood that is in walking distance to the Nymphenburg Schloss, park and easy access to the tram downtown.

I had an amazing stay at WunderLocke Munich! The hotel has a great modern atmosphere and is perfect for both short and long stays. My room was excellent — spacious, clean, and apartment-style with plenty of amenities. The shared work area had a really good vibe, ideal for getting things done or relaxing as did the bar area. A special mention to Flores at reception, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Highly recommend! We were staying for Octoberfest and was super easy to access the tube (4min walk) from hotel to get to the site

The room was fantastic, with a second double bed on a mezzanine floor for our teenager, and a fully equipped kitchen it was absolutely perfect for our needs, the bathroom was luxurious and the whole room very spacious, there was a choice of aircon, or you could open the window for fresh air, it was also very clean throughout. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice and quiet at night. The underground station is barely a ten minute walk away and only about six or seven stops to Marienplatz, perfect!

Initially the cab driver asked why I was so far out of the city, but the Underground is so close, easy and accessible (10-mins out), the travel was nothing. The view from the top deck is awesome. The culture of community inclusion (hot desking encouraged) and eco-friendly focus scored points for me. The room mix of raw and modern worked well, with full facilities for longer stays. All staff were engaged and friendly with special mention to Davide, who went out of his way to listen and help. Breakfast was fine; bar & snacks limited but appropriate...except no whisky - to be remedied apparently.

Very clean and quiet Hotel. Location is very good and you have supermarket nearby and restaurants and only 8 - 9 minutes walk to metro station. Also, you have bus stop beside the hotel. Breakfast is good and fresh.

Excellent room layout with everything you could need, although the bed on the floor was a challenge (LOL). Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Near U Bahn, supermarket and some local coffee shops, bars and restaurants.

Arrived late at night, greeted at reception by a very welcoming friendly team of staff and offered a complimentary drink! Bedroom was upgraded from what I had booked! Superb breakfast with lots of choice although pricey at €42 but you can eat all you like (both plentiful selection of hot and cold foods), amazing smoothies.... and no one rushing you to leave the dining room. Great cocktails in the bar and super atmosphere too. Pool, spa etc great! Don't miss a visit there - fab comfy areas to chill and enjoy a drink after a sauna, steam, spa treatment or swim. Nice gym for individual workouts. Bedroom stunning - so funky and the spa, pool etc amazing. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Tram stops outside the hotel and only 5 stops to city center.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful but hotel is very style over substance. No charging points in the room. Water not replaced, we were told to drink the tap water! Lighting in bathroom terrible. The food however was amazing, breakfast great and dinner in the restaurant, superb. Don’t like the dark corridors reminded me of a brothel!

Beautiful room , great vibe to hotel with excellent facilities. loved the pool area with sauna and massive steam room. Gym is ample size for anyone who wants to keep up there gym routine. Munich Mule is my new favourite drink from the lobby bar .The Izakaya restaurant was 10/10 some of the nicest food I've ever had. The hotel experience was greatly enhanced by all the staff reception/bar/restaurant/spa/cleaners who couldn't be any friendlier or helpful. The only hotel i'll stay in Munich from now.

The aesthetics were great, room design was very elegant and spacious, bathroom was very nicely designed. Also selection of products (shower gels, lotions etc…) were magnificent. The spa had a vibe and an ambience, really helped us unwind with its well thought out details. Breakfast selection was also amazing. Special note towards the staff , everyone was extremely polite , helpful and very accommodating to our very need , making our stay truly special!

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful decor, modern bathroom, plenty of storage, and comfortable beds. The location is an 8 minute drive to the Munich Central Station and has trams about 20 minutes from Old Town. The pool and spa are a huge plus.

Super service in THE BEST location. We had Room 1 - a spacious suite with a view of Marienplatz, the glockenspiel and the beautiful Christmas market. So atmospheric and a great vantage point. The windows are well insulated & there was absolutely no noise from the square below. The hotel occupies the 5th floor of a modern building and the entrance is a little unusual and out of the way. But once inside, the hotel is wonderfully stylish and chic. A great bar area for tea coffee & snacks and some of the best breakfast omelettes we’ve ever eaten. Special thanks to Sarah and Gertrude for all their help with restaurant bookings and taxis. We would heartily recommend to anyone wanting a luxurious central location in Munich.

My wife and I just spent 4 nights at BEYOND, and we loved it. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are modern, clean, and quiet. The location is indeed the best, if you want to be in the heart of 'old town' Munich. Walking distance to the best Munich has to offer. This is not the largest hotel, with only 10 rooms on 1 floor, and 9 rooms on the top floor, but don't let that stop you from staying here. Indeed, when you open the door to your room you are opening it into the lobby/seating/relaxing area, but it works very well. There is small 'finger food' available, drinks, breakfast omelets, etc. and it is 15 paces away. But, you still have fantastic privacy. We loved it! And, the staff is super friendly, and very well trained. We interacted with Gertrude, Sarah, Elias, Lione, and Maren. Be advised, there are only roughly 4 English speaking channels on the TV...but one is not coming to Munich to watch TV! We would stay here again (and we like nice hotels).

This small hotel, right in the Center of Munich is your perfect location if you are looking for modern ambience, combined with the feeling of being right at home. The hotel lounge offers a breathtaking view across the famous Marienplatz in the heart of the Center of Munich. The best view you can have at the world famous Glockenspiel. The whole staff of the hotel are super friendly and forthcoming. Our room with church views was large, very stylish and offered everything we could have wished for. The mattress was one of the most comfortable we ever had in a hotel. We loved everything about this little gem of a hotel.

What a wonderful place to stay, the team at Beyond By Geisel are amazing. They are warm, friendly and they really make you feel at home. We stayed in the junior suite with the Marienplatz view and it was amazing. Each day you have a direct view of the Glockenspiel. Maren, Dennis, Corina and the rest of the team are amazing. If you love high end service with a spectacular view, this is the hotel for you.

Such a pleasure to stay in this hotel, great experience and lovely staff will keep us coming back here. We wanted to be spoiled and Do&Co did that, we enjoyed. The room was cute and very cozy, stylish and warm. Even the smallest details as the mini bar that included different types of exclusive champagne, whiskey and votka mini bottles, to the nuts and protein bars for snacks, we didn’t miss anything in our room. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were extra soft, which we loved. The staff was soo lovely, our waiter that would bring me coffee in the morning was really attentive, receptionist from Croatia was so helpful and so nice, we were so grateful on such attention and yes, we were spoiled so much. The restaurant was nice, cozy and chic at the same time, the bar had some great cocktails as well so I recommed everybody to pay a visit. Super clean, super cozy, great location in the very city center but again quiet. They are detail oriented and that is something we loved - sleeping masks and earplugs, good hairdryer - very useful tools for hotel guests. The gym is outside of the hotel, 5-6mins walking distance but one of the better gyms in Munich If someone wants to know. One of my most memorable stayings, loved it and will be back!

We stayed for my husband’s 30th birthday last week. This was one of the most luxurious stays I’ve experienced. The staff/service - Absolutely amazing. Our train arrived very early in the morning (long before our check in time at 3PM) and they were SO accommodating. We were greeted with a cold beverage and they allowed us to drop of all of our luggage to be stored safely so we could kill time without lugging it around town. They also got our room ready as fast as they could, hours before check in, and gave me a call to let me know we could head to our room early where our luggage would be waiting for us. We were shown to our room and given a brief tour of everything. Every single staff interaction was kind, and helpful, and I kept telling my husband that the service was so wonderful I felt like if I dropped something I member of the hotel staff would appear and catch it before it hit the floor. They even sent a bottle of champagne and the most wonderful hand written note up to the room while we were out to wish my husband a happy birthday. The room - The room was INCREDIBLE. We stayed in a Junior Suite and everything was spotless and luxurious. From the large fluffy towels, to the soft and comfortable bed, to the shower, to the unbelievable personal bar, it was the most amazing way to end a long and exhausting trip. Location - Perfect. Could not be any more convenient. DO & CO Restaurant - This deserves its own review entirely and I will be leaving one. AMAZING.

We liked everything about the hotel. LOCATION - very central ROOMS - modern, very spacious and very clean STAFF - very helpful and friendly. Thank you Paul and Geraldine for your help and everyday smile, Sandra for arranging our room requests, Paul, Sebastian and Claudius for helping us have a comfortable transport to get to the hotel. Everyone are amazing. RESTAURANT - it was rainy during our stay at Munich but finding delicious meals is not a problem at the hotel. Their restaurant and Bistro are serving delicious foods and service are exceptional.

I loved my stay. Location is ideal if you want to be in the Alt Stadt, 2 min walking to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Hotel lobby is chic and hidden from the bustle, with a lovely view of the Frauenkirsche. Staff are uniformly pleasant and helpful. I had a “classic room,” which was spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities you’d expect from a 5-star hotel: luxurious (but minimalist) furnishings, hardwood floor, luxurious robe/slippers/towels and linens. Multiple mood lighting options. A full bar, also luxe with marble and brass fittings. A Toto-style toilet with all the bells and whistles. The sink area in the bathroom was a bit tight, but the shower was capacious with both handheld and rain options. — Here’s my one caveat: I hated the Molton Brown products - mandarin and celery sage fragrance, which absolutely reeked - and the robust incense in the W/C, which I had to put in the fridge to get rid of the smell. I went out and bought fragrance free soap to use instead. — The Bistro is wonderful. Breakfast is a real feast, everything fresh, and dinner is even better: I went to fancy Michelin starred Gasthaus Waltz one night, but ate at the Bistro the rest of the time and it was like 3/4 board, with reasonable prices. Thank you Do & Co for a fantastic stay!

So many things to rave about our DO&CO hotel stay! 1. The room was comfortable, clean, up to date, had great views of New Town Hall, and the shower was amazing! Probably the best hotel stay my husband and I have ever had. 2. Melissa at the front desk was truly one of our highlights of staying here. She was extremely helpful, kind, and friendly - we really felt like she cared about our stay and making us feel at home, even if it was only for two nights. 3. The hotel is at a prime location. Right next to New Town Hall, the Munich Cathedral, and tons of stores/shops and restaurants. It’s also walking distance to the train station (15 min walk) and rental car pick-up. 4. We signed up for the breakfast package and it was totally worth it. The bistro was quiet both days (we’re also early risers) and the food was (chef’s kiss). Overall, great hotel to stay at in Munich. We will absolutely be returning to DO&CO when traveling through Munich.

Highly recommend hotel Kreis. Staff was amazing, both at check in and the fabulous morning breakfast. Helped me figure out the train, which was easy to figure out and ride(10 minute walk to station or can rent scooter). We travelled during a heat wave and the AC worked fantastic. Bed and couch pull out was comfortable. Plenty of space, dishes, fridge, dishwasher and coffee maker easy to use. Paid $7 per day park had no issues parking at hotel. With a car many places close(groceries, wash). Many small helpful details in the room, can tell they are concerned about guest having a wonderful experience. My favorite was the breakfast, staff super attentive and quick to make sure had a cup of coffee when we sat down. I really can't find one thing to complain about, this is a wonderful hotel and great value for the money spent. Hope to come back again some day!

Our room was very big, and it had all the facilities we needed. The balcony had a stunning view of the quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful.

The hotel is very good in terms of cleanliness. The reception staff are excellent, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast is limited (no variety of options). The place is quiet. Parking is available (€7 per night). I recommend it if you prefer peace and being away from the city center. The hotel is about 30 minutes by car from the city center. It is about 45 minutes by metro, with the nearest metro station around 300 meters from the hotel. I booked a Deluxe Apartment with Balcony, which includes a small kitchenette, sink, and microwave. It does not have an iron or a washing machine. (The room is spacious and suitable.)

This is a very nice and new hotel in Garching. It is convniently located about 5 minutes walk from the U6 station so travel to Munich is easy. The hotel itself is in a quiet residential area, so if you do not have a car you have to walk to central graching for things like restaurants or groceries, about 10 minutes. The rooms are nice, modern and spacious. There is a nice common area on the ground floor where breakfast is served and you can sit and work or have coffee with friends in the evening, very nice. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good but quite expensive, but the rooms have mini kitchen so you can make your own, and the hotel has a 24 hours shop which is very nice.

Very nice, modern hotel with very stylish rooms and spacious garage. Quiet and comfortable. Also built very nicely, with high quality materials. Very friendly staff, really to be recommended. Amazing details, for example, there are coffee beans in the room, which you can trimm yourself and make coffee. Fantastic! We will definitely be back.

The room was very spacious, modern, clean, and comfortable. It's located in a quiet neighbourhood about 600m away from the centre of Garching. We didn't try the breakfast, but there are several cafes/bakeries in the centre. The lobby was nice for reading, working, or just for relaxing and hanging out. There's also a small convenience store in the hotel.

The hotel is relatively new, very clean, and the apartment is very spacious. The staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast exceeded expectations with a juicer that allows guests to prepare fresh fruit and vegetable juice, and a machine for making nut butter. A wide variety of fruit and vegetables was available, with a much broader selection than you sometimes find in higher-rated hotels.

It was perfect distance to the historical camp of Dachau. The staff were helpful, getting a beer at the bar after a long days drive was excellent. The staff suggested an Italian restaurant which we walked to and the food was delicious. Our shower and bed felt so nice. Lovely breakfast also available with helpful and attentive staff - select this hotel.

Located in industrial zone of Dachau, perfect for our needs (attending Euro 2024 match at Allianz Arena). Clean and room was spacious and wheelchair usable as promised. No complaints here. Good wifi, great bathroom with good water pressure in the shower. Free parking outside or in garage. Tasty breakfast with singing cook (Rock me like a Hurricane :-)) Comfy beds, heavy and dark curtains for late sleep in.

Breakfast was excellent--its adjacent to their coffee shop and bakery so plenty of food and variety of it is available. Overall nice and current design for a two-story quint business hotel. Our room was very spacious, and comfy, also clean (beds are new!) Very welcoming and kind personnel is running it--very attentive owner too! Everything we asked for or needed, was immediately tended to and taken seriously and with all kindness and efforts to please us. Plenty of parking, good vibe, positive energy and good scent as well! (important)

Everything about this hotel was perfect. I made a last minute booking due to a cancelled flight and was cold and tired by the time I arrived. The staff were super-friendly. My luggage was lost and they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed including a phone charger. The hotel and the room itself were both spotless. I booked the junior suite which was a good size with a large lounging area and a work space. Had a great night's sleep. The bed was comfy and the room was very quiet. The included breakfast was incredibly good, a large variety of foods and a really good quality. The jam in particular was really fruity and seemed handmade. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The place exceeded our expectations. Top location near the station and city center, and very quiet to sleep, which is super rare to find. Rooms are clean, well equipped with everything, beds are comfortable. But, most importantly, the service was amazing! The staff at the reception was extremely helpful and willing to help. You can feel being welcomed and cared. The breakfast was tasty, everything is fresh and good quality. extra point for a nice coffee) we will definitely come back here when in Munich again

Great location, welcoming staff, cozy and clean room. Great WiFi signal for working and online meeting. Everything functions very well. The location is second to none - almost right next to the metro exit and only two stops to the old city centre (MarienPlatz) and 15 minutes walk to the central train station. The neighbourhood is quiet but convenient. There is a grocery store right across the street and some affordable dining options nearby.

I have never stayed in an accommodation so clean. Also the staff were so helpful with every single thing we asked of them. Nice restaurant right across the street and the metro too! We didn't have breakfast but the staff offered us some nice filter coffee and we enjoyed it on their lovely terrace each morning!

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Truly relaxing, comfortable, quiet and clean. The wooden interior of the room is really lovely, the bathroom is spotless and modern and the hotel itself is really lovely. Parking is free and on site, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was really good, so was the coffee! We asked for a couple of cappuccinos. The complimentary toiletries are really nice and smell lovely. They use the cutest toilet papers I've ever seen. There's a hairdryer and free mineral water available as well (although we never found where to collect it!) Highly recommend.

Great location for transit towards Central and Eastern Europe at the beginning of the highway to Passau. Brand new, clean, modern, quiet. Housemade icecream and limonade on the house. Superb garden exceptionally well maintained - sort of botanic garden with local plants. Delicious breakfast, nice collection of teas, gourmet products. Confy beds. A lot of wood in the room. Sufficient parking space. Reception staff speaking many languages. Everybody smiling and happy to help guests.

The staff is so friendly and professional, the outdoor part of the restaurant surronded by all the greenery is a really nice bonus when you need a quiet rest on your roadtrip through Germany. It was really close to the autobahn as well. The rooms were clean and had a nice design. The breakfast was really great! More than we expected!

The hotel is very nice, located away from Munich which takes around 15 mins by car. Stayed for 2 nights there. Room was very nice and spacious and bathroom is very nice with great amenities. Girls at the reception and are very nice and quite helpful and friendly. The last night we had to shower with cold water which turned out to be the case for all of the rooms, but the second day the staff apologized and gave us a complementary gift as it was out of the control. Breakfast was German authentic, very nice, rich and very generous. There is one restaurant (recommended by staff) close to the hotel that stays at night till 10 pm, but it is very expensive and over rated. All in all it was a very pleasant stay, yet if you don't have a car, it may be a little far from Munich main attractions.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, with a lot of good beverages included. There are a lot of parking spaces available right at the entrance of the hotel, in a private parking lot. The rooms are great, with very comfortable beds and a great all around design. There are grocery stores and restaurants (including fast food) at a 3 minute walk distance.

Booked this thru Amex FHR. I did not book the cheapest room and was upgraded to a larger with with a balcony overlooking the botanical gardens. We stayed 3 nights. The checkin process was seamless and thoughful. The room had old-world style, even thought the hotel building was built in 2007 or somewhere around there. The room had modern USB plugs to charge all of your devices. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was large, balcony was nice. Nespresso maker in room. Breakfast room was in the restaurant. Small, but plentiful buffet with egg dishes a la carte. A beautiful European breakfast display. Location is super convenient to the main train station as well the center of the city - easily walkable. Right on a park/botanical gardens, so it feels very quiet and serene. We had dinner at the restaurant. The staff were amazing, but the food was ok. The concierge team had amazing restaurant recommendations. I would stay here again.

Had a quick one night stay but The Charles left an impression! Small touches stood out as unique. Cold champagne bottles and chocolate covered strawberries sitting near the elevators Coffee Tea and snacks in the morning by the elevators The bellman who was waiting (unprompted) at the lobby elevators to grab our bags when we left at 7am The friendly check in associate who walked us up to the room (although not unique, this practice is happening less and less at upscale city hotels) These were some of the small things that are not happening anymore at many other comparable 5 star hotels Now to the standard stuff (sorry it’s short, we only were there 16 hours or so) Rooms - spacious, new, clean, well appointed with a powerful rain shower. Service - outstanding Gym/Spa - not enough time to use Restaurant - Breakfast included and looked excellent but did not have time Overall - next time in Munich, only staying here

An extremely positive experience staying in this hotel recently for three nights with family. The location is great - beside a lovely park and just a short walk to the centre of Munich. Right by the central train statin too for connections farther afield. The check in was pleasant and professional. Indeed as others have commented, all interactions with staff were of the highest quality. Returning to breakfast after the first morning and returning to the bar in the evening after the first evening and our orders had been remembered by the relevant staff who wondered if we wanted the same again. The public areas are lovely with really beautiful fresh flower displays. The rooms were large and clean with lots of extra touches to enhance them. We had forgotten a couple of items and replacements were sourced very quickly by reception! We enjoyed the breakfasts and particularly the ambience which was a great way to start the day. i would highly recommend this excellent hotel.

We had heard that this was an exceptional hotel, but it far exceeded our expectations! Our family had two suites over the holidays, and both were very spacious, comfortable and luxurious with so many amenities, like a deep soaking tub and fully stocked mini-fridge. The hotel is within easy walking distance of many of the major sites and near public transportation. Loved having drinks and appetizers down in the lobby bar after a full day of sightseeing. Our grown kids caught bad colds during the trip that worsened in Munich. The front desk staff was so helpful--even offering to go to the chemist and get over-the-counter medications for us (nonprescription). Don't miss this hotel!

As a regular traveller I found this hotel to be perfect. Being family run ensured a very warm welcome and excellent service throughout my 3 night stay. The breakfast room was spacious, bright, immaculate and very well serviced by the host family. The breakfast was perfect. The whole place was very modern and welcoming. The room was spacious with an excellent shower. Parking was easily available at the hotel. I loved everything about this hotel and the friendly attention of the staff was a big bonus. I will return.

I've been traveling to Europe since 2006 and this is one of my favorite hotels. The room was great for my family (2 adults and 3 children). The kids loved the upstairs loft with bunk beds and the modern shower. Tobias and his family obviously love what they do and take great care of their guests. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff will cook eggs upon request. The location was perfect for us, close to restaurants, groceries, and a short drive to Munich. The location allowed us to have a peaceful and quiet rest every night. We will stay here again next time we're in Munich.

Very cosy small hotel futher from the city, but easy access by car or public transport. Clean, comfortable modern apartment with spacious living area that includes dining table. Cosy tiny kid's room with a bed and a bunk bed. There is no kitchen facilities in the room (nor coffee machine nor kettle) - but this was expected per description. eair conditioner in the room. Overall enjoyed staying here few nights.

We 3 ladies stayed in a little apartment that is part of the hotel, but it is in a building opposite the main hotel. We had travelled by train from the airport to Marienplatz which just a few minutes walk from the hotel. On arrival, we were met by the lovely Lucca. He was so friendly & welcoming. He stored our bags for us until check-in time. The hotel is close to everything Munich has to offer. Shops, restaurants, bars, and of course, the beautiful Christmas markets. When we returned to check in. Lucca gave us a voucher each for a free Prosecco to have in either the restaurant bar or on the roof terrace bar. He then took us over to the apartment. The building itself has lots of character and is so quiet. There was 1 double bed and 1 double sofa bed, so could have slept up to 4 people. The kitchen area has a small glass hob, a coffee maker with lots of free coffee pods, a kettle, various teas, a fridge that had beers,cokes and bottles of water and these are all free and are replenished daily. There was a dishwasher with dishwasher tablets included, plenty of crockery, etc. & all rhe utensils you would need.There is a little safe in the room too. The bathroom had a decent size shower and had all shower gel and lotion provided. The room was cleaned daily, and the towels replaced.. Everywhere was really clean. We never actually ate in the restaurant, but we did drink there a couple of times. The food did look good . We really loved our stay and we will definitely be back.

We loved everything! It was our 2nd stay and we will be back next year. Our spacious room and bathroom on the 5th floor were beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. The beds are amazing. Complimentary mini-bar and also a prosecco voucher for the fabulous roof terrace with views over Munich. The hotel has Air Con, which makes it comfortable during summer. Deutsche Eiche also has a lift, so no schlepping of luggage required. Super friendly staff, super clean and quiet room, super central (150m to Viktualienmarkt, a few minutes to Marienplatz), super convenient parking in a spacious, private parking garage 2mins away (needs pre-booking, 20 Euro per day). Funky shops around. 100m to Gärtnerplatz with fab Cotidiano for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Hotel Deutsche Eiche was absolutely perfekt for our 2-night stay (I travelled with my elderly mother.) Thank you very much!

This hotel blew me away with its charm. I had booked a hotel in another part of the city, which upon arrival was not what I was hoping for. I searched for a new hotel, and found Deutsche Eiche, made a same day booking and boy was I in for a pleasant surprise. My room was a single room, which was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The boutique style curtains and lighting finishes really gave a plush and comfortable feel. Room mini bar is free, breakfast included in the price and a complimentary drink on the rooftop bar sweetened the deal. The room has cute touches, like a sewing kit and enclosed shoe sponge, vanity kit and wash cloth. The restaurant is lovely with a great breakfast and good atmosphere.

Location is amazing! Staff were friendly and always available. It was raining and it was great that they had umbrellas to loan us for sightseeing. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and had a great meal. We had drinks on the rooftop and enjoyed great views even though the weather was bad. The room was surprisingly bigger than I expected for Europe. It was comfortable for the three of us with a spacious bathroom and it was a nice touch to have all the selections of drinks available. Overall loved the location and convenience of the restaurant. Would recommend and would stay again.

The staff and service at the hotel are top notch. The staff are just lovely, kind, people who always have a smile for you. They really make your stay much nicer. Also, the breakfast buffet is amazing! I don't even like breakfast, and I loved it. Best breakfast I've ever seen. I also like the outdoor seating and restaurant and bar areas. The room itself is nice and renovated, and has a lovely bathtub. They do have one of those half window screens, which means you up just huddle up in the shower, trying not to get water everwhere. The location has its pros and cons. It's a quiet neighborhood, with lots of restaurants. The crowd looks like locals who are young professional types. Lots of nice grocery stores and mid-priced shopping for essentials. It is a bit more of a jog from the train station though. You have to walk a bit to the tram or the U-Bahn stop. Also, the hotel has no AC, and I didn't feel the fan was sufficient. The lighting in the hotel room could have been better too. And the internet wasn't as fast as I would have liked and there were some connection issues. I think this actually a really great hotel for a romantic weekend or a solo traveller.

This is a smaller three star hotel that is very clean, modern, and a joy to visit. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was a little small but still offered a good variety of both hot and cold items. The rooms in the boutique hotel (including the bathroom) were small but still very functional. Great light in the bathroom although bedroom was a little on the dark side (like too many hotel rooms in general). There was no AC but the bedroom has a large modern quiet fan that helped keep things perfectly comfortable even on a hot day. Windows and patio door opened and provided a nice breeze of clean air as well. Hotel is near the main train station relatively speaking but if you have a good amount of luggage still best to get a taxi or Uber to transfer between the two. Quiet, safe neighborhood with a large indoor mall about half a block away that contained several grocery stores and restaurants, etc.. Bavaria Boutique Hotel provided good value for the money although a little far from main tourist areas on foot. Would definitely stay again though.

Kudos to this hotel’s management and staff. The hotel is on the West End of the city. It takes 25 minutes to walk to center of town and 10 minutes by tram. The neighborhood is middle class with a mall a block away from hotel and several good coffee shops and restaurants within a radius of 3 blocks. The hotel and rooms are thoughtfully designed and supplied. Bed and pillows are comfortable, room is quiet and spacious, and bathroom is well supplied. If anything, I suggest hotel adds a second below so it would be comfortable to recline while watching tv. In hot weather, the room has an almost silent ceiling fan that cools the air. Breakfast buffet is well stocked and serviced. Reception desk has excellent, friendly, and helpful staff (a special shoutout to Marietta). Excellent hotel. I recommend it highly.

My son and I recently stayed at Hotel Torbräu, and we had a fantastic experience. The rooms were exceptionally clean and quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. The reception staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any questions. What truly stood out was the restaurant staff at breakfast—they were absolutely exceptional, providing attentive and warm service that made our meals even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location was also a major plus, with easy access to Munich’s main attractions and public transportation. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return. Wonderful location to access the centre of the city. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well equipped with coffee machine, toiletries and a safe. Being winter we appreciated the heated towel racks. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful.

The best possible location, next to Marienplatz and Hofbrauhaus. But you pay dearly for the location. Comfortable, quiet room with safe and good wifi. Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious breakfast: buffet, with smoked salmon, cheese, bread, yogurt, etc.

What can I say but “WOW” this place was amazing. Great location, 5 min easy walk to the train. The guys running it were top notch. Friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great and coffee service was outstanding. Very quiet area and very clean.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst Scotland were playing Germany at Euro 2024. We had a 4 bed room on the 3rd (top floor) which had great space for everyone. We received a warm welcome at reception and again on each morning at breakfast. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast was well stocked with the standard cold buffet you'd expect in Europe along with scrambled egg and bacon. Our room had a fridge and a safe which were welcomed bonuses. There was also a small balcony with views over the village and the main street below. There is a supermarket at street level within the same building which again was really handy. The hotel is no more than a 5 minutes walk to the local s-bahn station which has a direct line into the centre of Munich. If you're looking to visit Munich but also would like the taste of a Bavarian village then this is a great place to stay and visit. Wish we had an extra day or two here.

Everything was perfect at this hotel, the small city, the staff was top, always smiling and helpful, breakfast was a festin. I rarely saw a breakfast well organized like in this hotel. Extremely clean and cosy, for sure I will come back to my next visit in Munich!

This is the rare case, when photos are worse, than the hotel is. The room is not dark or gloom! Very clean. Very well maintained. Good pillows and matresses. In the center of Planegg. The stor is right below the hotel. 2 nice restaurants are beside. Wonderful doener right in front. Good breakfast (good cofee, which is rare luxury in hotels, and berries!) 5 min walk from S-Bahn. Very nice and responsive personnel. Definitely reommend if you seek simple and good stay.

Extremely clean throughout the building, the room was larger than I would have expected and the beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom was well equipped with everything we needed. The continental breakfast was tasty with a varied selection. Staff were lovely and helpful. Location excellent with the S-Bahn only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

Perfect location in old town Munich. Would definitely stay there again! Clean, modern, good restaurant and wine bar. Within easy walking distance of many sights, restaurants, and things to do. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Showed us everything in the rooms and how to use them. Gave us excellent directions. Took the train to the airport... very easy to do and a lot less expensive than the taxi we used to get to the hotel (taxi accepted cash only and cost us 120 euros with gratuity included.

Everything was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a bigger room. The room was spotlessly clean and well equipped with mini bar and free water with cordial. Brilliant location within very easy reach of all attractions in the old town and plenty of eating places on the doorstep. Very quiet for such a central location.

The staff at the Cortina Hotel was so friendly and helpful. They really made our stay here enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The location is perfect - walkable to lots of restaurants and attractions. Public transportation is nearby as well. Would definitely stay here again. We travelled as a family and had a great time together.

The location is superb for central Munich. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. I got a superior corner room which had lots of windows and great natural light. The room itself had some nice touches such as a power adaptor and a welcome card. The only downsides about the room were that there were no bedside drawers - i have found this in other high end hotels too. It useful to be able to keep personal items in bedside drawers sometimes. The pressure in the shower was a bit disappointing too. The furniture in the room was of high quality. I had the breakfast on one day and I thought it was pretty good. The range of cold buffet items was good but not exceptional. I enjoyed the freshly prepared eggs, but for a 30 Euro breakfast I would have liked some more sophisticated hot options such as eggs benedict.

This is such a wonderful place to stay! The room was very well-appointed, clean, and comfortable; the breakfast was fantastic, especially with the Bavarian pastries; the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. I appreciated as well the ability to store a rented bike in a locked room in the car garage below. I found the location to be fine, quite a nice part of town; it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to Furth Station and from there it takes 25-30 minutes by metro to Marienplatz, the center of Munich. I often prefer hotels that are located outside the center of a big city because these hotels tend to be much quieter or more peaceful. I also was able to explore on bicycle some lovely parkland very close by.

This was a fantastic place to stay during our few days in Munich. Close to the city, but still peaceful and quiet. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the complementary breakfast was outstanding. If/when we're back in the area we'd love to stay here again.

Pleasant stay in a quiet and convenient location, easy to reach by car. The hotel restaurant served surprisingly good food, both for breakfast and dinner. A great bonus was the on-site EV charging station, which worked perfectly and made our road trip hassle-free. Clean room, helpful staff — would gladly return.

I stayed in the centre of Munich for my previous trip. But that was business so cost not an issue. This time I was paying but wanted an equivalent standard for a much lower price point. Moma delivered that in spades and turns out that I much preferred the area. Super convenient as right by a station that brings you from airport and then gets you to wherever you want to go inside town or outside. Also quiet and felt safe with lots of restaurants. We had a junior suite which was nicely spacious and very comfortable for a stay of several days. Everything was spotless and worked. Friendly staff from housekeeping to breakfast to front desk. Good breakfasts and so nice to have the snack bar for a cup of tea and piece of chocolate when we got back after a busy day out.

The hotel was fantastic from start to finish. Firstly the welcome on arrival was great, incredibly friendly giving an overview of the hotel and area, along with introducing the honour bar system and complimentary snacks. The next point is the location, which is perfect. Just outside the busy central area but with bus, train, tram and metro services to wherever you'd like all within 5 minutes walk. The room was spacious, clean and with a very comfy bed, and breakfast was a lovely buffet selection (highly recommend the pretzel!). All together, I could not recommend this hotel more. If I am in Munich again, I will be staying here!

The hotel is in a great location right across the street from the East train station easily accessible to the public transportation subway and trams. There are very good restaurants in the vicinity as well. Staff were wonderful and helpful with check-in parking in the car and arranging dinner reservations. The breakfast was really fresh and exceptional with all locally sourced ingredients, including eggs and cold cuts. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The hotel is very clean and well taken care of. I will definitely stay here again in Munich.

It's really a characterful place, in front of station. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished. Modern yet not minimalist. The interior was so nice, notably the elegant staircase! The lounge in 1F was nice and cosy, with free use of coffee machine. Staffs were so helpful and gentle, with many occasions I felt a great hospitality. It's in busy area but was not very noisy. Breakfast was satisfactory with many bread/vegetable options. Shower / wifi etc. worked perfectly. I really had a good time here.

Had a lovely stay at MOMA1890. Loved the stylish decor, comfy beds and posh toiletries. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They have a lounge with a minibar offering free drinks and snacks which was really nice. We stayed during a heatwave so we were very glad of the air conditioning! Location was perfect for us, there’s a metro/train station literally right outside so just a 7 minute ride to Marienplatz and all the main tourist spots. We liked being in Haidenhaus, it’s a quiet, leafy, family friendly suburb with lots of nice restaurants, cafes and shops. A great base for exploring the beautiful city of Munich
