We loved this hotel. It's so interesting! Beautifully renovated, decor is lovely, even down to the details of the cups, bowls and plates used in the breakfast room. Attention to high spec detail has gone in here. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed huge and comfortable. If I'm being fussy, the pillows were not great, but that's not a reason not to experience this lovely hotel. We had a sauna in our bathroom after all!! We didn't eat an evening meal in the restaurants as we didn't book in time unfortunately. However Namur has so many amazing places to eat it didn't matter. Breakfast was really good.. a mix of hot food and continental buffet. Fresh orange juice, good coffee. And the ladies looking after breakfast are a delight. Namur is lovely, if we come again, this hotel is at the top of the list to stay. Make it known if you struggle with stairs, there are lifts but not everywhere.

Les Tanneurs is located a short walk from Namurs shopping centre. It has very limited parking facilities but I requested a space in advance and was a bit surprised to see a spot reserved for me right outside the front door. There is paid parking on the street near the hotel and an underground car park a 5 minute walk away. The hotel has an old facade but is very modern inside. The room we were assigned (201) was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom came with a walk-in shower which I'd also requested in advance. We ate dinner in the hotels Grill Restaurant the night we arrived and chose the Tante Jeanne menu. It was excellent and at €38 a head not expensive. The restaurant service was perfect. We chose not to eat breakfast but make a visit to the shops before we had to check out. Maison Saint Aubain can be recommended for cheese lovers. All in all we had a great stay and will definitely stay again if and when in Namur next.

Wonderful hotel in an old building, very comfortable and beautiful. We had very specious and well equipped room with a small kitchen, perfect for us as a family. Breakfast was great, all peple at the reception, breakfast and facilities and restaurant were we’re family friendly! We had a dinner at the grill restaurant, the vegetarian and children’s Menü were great as well. The place is perfectly located

Tucked away in a quiet part of the town but within easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. Unfortunately, our room smelled of stale smoke which we were unhappy about. This was dealt with immediately and the member of staff was quick to find us an alternative room. Our room was spacious and had a wonderfully large shower. The breakfast was fresh and there was plenty of choice.

The room is lovely, with stunning views of the countryside. The host is friendly and provides an excellent service with exceptional attention to detail. The room was very comfortable with a large bed, sofa and a table with stools. There is plenty of storage space. The room had lots of little touches included such as chocolates and snacks, hot and cold drinks, crockery and cutlery, Minifridge, coffee machine, and kettle. Everything was very clean and in good order. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, eggs, bread, cheese and ham, croissants, preserves, orange juice, and coffee. The area is very quiet, parking outside the property felt very safe. We have stayed here twice because it is so good!

We loved everything about this place. Firstly the host, Remi, and his wife who we also met on arrival, were lovely and welcoming. We had good communication and conversation with Remi, in English. The place itself was perfect for our one night stopover and would be great for longer stays. It is in a quiet residential cul-de-sac at the edge of a sleepy village yet less than 10 minutes from the main route. The accommodation is the whole top floor of the house so it is very private. The main bedroom is spacious and has everything you need, and has a lovely view over the garden and surrounding countryside.The bed is huge and very comfortable. The whole place is well presented and very clean. There were also numerous treats which were a nice surprise. Parking (free) right outside on the quiet roadside/pavement. Last but not least, the breakfast was awesome with a large selection and included home produced juice and bread. Highly recommended. Thank you, Remi.

Remi was the perfect host. Our room was delightful - tea and coffee-making facilities, gifts of snacks in the room, and beer in a fridge. From the room there is a garden view with lovely countryside beyond and Remi gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant in a neighbouring village for dinner; also he phoned to make the reservation for us. Big bathroom with bath and shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast (outside as the weather was lovely) was superb. Remi asked us the night before what we would like and it was all delicious.

Everything was perfect. Very courteous, welcoming hosts. We enjoyed the most delicious homemade breakfast with a view of the green backyard. The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless clean.

The host was very friendly and we had a chat each morning about all kinds of topics while I was enjoying a delicious breakfast (homemade bread, homemade yoghurt, fresh orange juice, some french cheese and a cup of coffee). The entire upper floor of the house was available for me (bedroom, toilet and bathroom) which gave a sense of privacy. The view of the countryside was delightful (especially at dusk) and the mosquito screen enabled me to open the window at night, cooling down the room and bringing in fresh air.

Very welcoming upon arrival, host very extremely policy and friendly, gave us a tour of the property and said make yourself at home. Answered all our questions and was a pleasure to stay in their hospitality.

The place is even nicer than on the pictures. We had an amazing stay here. Very friendly people that did everything to make sure we had a pleasant stay.

The room is as described and very comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen facilities as we stayed only one night and went out to the city centre for diner. The centre is only a 15 minute walk. The bed is comfortable and the shower is huge :) We've had a warm welcome and a personal explanation of the facilities.

All in all, BED Pepin is a nice place for a shorter stay without high expectations. The location is really great since you are close to all highlights of Namur, yet the accommodation is in a quiet area so you can have a peaceful sleep. For the money the room itself is actually pretty good value. I had a double bedroom with a real bath instead of a shower at the back of the building with a view of the garden. There is even a television with Google Chromecast build in! The rooms are cleaned everyday unless you chose not to during your stay.

Central, clean, spacious enough. Modern style. Kitchen, kettle and fridge in common area.

The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. It's good that it also has a sink in the room considering you have to share the bathroom. Also, it's right in the center of the city which was perfect.

The booking and communication was very easy and straightforward and the same can be said about the key takeover. The suite was well organized, clean and the bed was very comfortable. A personal washbasin in the room and having the option to prepare a coffee as well as tea in the room was a really nice touch.

Modern,with a lot of attention paid to the details.Its easy to notice that the aim is to make the traveller comfortable.

The location of the hotel was perfect, quiet and peaceful yet not too off the beaten track. We were travelling from the UK to Europa Park in Germany and this was the perfect place to stop en route. The staff were welcoming, location very pretty and the hotel charming and authentic. The rooms were traditional and very comfortable. The was a stream opposite for the dog to splash in if needed and a lovely bar area where we sat outside for a drink in the evening. I was a little concerned about the dog getting too hot as no air con, however the rooms weren't at all warm despite the warm weather because the building is old and cool. There was a cosy bar inside also for cooler months/weather. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, the tastiest pastries ever! We would love to return here in the future.

We had a very large room on the second floor with nice views. The room was clean and tidy and had a fridge with drinks. On arrival we treated ourselfs to a cool refreshing drink in the outside bar which was open at the time. The shower over the bath was hot and plentable, Food is not avaliable here so we ventured up to the local pub/restaurant and enjoyed a very good meal. Our host in the morning was delightful and explained the local produce on offer for breakfast including cooked eggs. Nice quiet night and very comfortable beds. Enjoyable stay.

Location was well kept, modern, renovated with style, easy to find and quiet. Rooms were comfy and staff was very helpful. It was a quiet time overall so I cannot speak for levels of noise at busy times. The area is also beautiful and there's both a restaurant and a bar at the premises. My dog was welcome and our questions were addressed promptly whenever we had any needs, such as hot water or cups.

What a fantastic stay we had. Lovely clean, comfortable and spacious (even with a small kid and a dog), very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast (lots of home made options) and beautiful location. We left rested and content.

It was the third time that I stayed here. We walked GR 126 from Flawinne to Dinant with this location as stop midway. This time we stayed in the room with river view, and it is absolutely amazing, that view. The hosts are generally very welcoming and friendly people. They even speak Dutch and give a personal intro to the room. The on-site restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is simple but complete and more than enough. Bring your own shampoo. There is no coffee, tea in the room, but the hosts accommodate your every request and filled our thermos with tea for next day's cold winter hike.

Room with a view. WOW!!!!! Good shower. I liked the crisp white bedding but personally need firmer beds and pillows but that’s not a complaint, just a matter of preference. The views are stunning. A terrace with table and chairs directly from your room. The room decorated nicely. Owner and all staff excellent, really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast - the croissant and breads superior, eggs offered and cooked well, homemade and local jams. I loved the location but some people might prefer to be more central - for us it was perfect. We found the whole experience wonderful.

I stayed for one night and I have to say I had a great time! The staff was immediately kind and welcoming, making me feel at home. The room was clean and cozy, with a panoramic view of the Meuse. The bed was comfortable and the atmosphere was very quiet. I had dinner in the restaurant located on the property and I have to say the food was truly excellent. What can I say? I can only recommend everyone to stay here.

From start to end our stay was excellent. We were warmly greeted on arrival and were delighted with our huge bedroom. The linen was crisp and clean. Each morning we enjoyed the beautiful buffet breakfast (and boiled eggs) cheese, meat ,cereals, croissants, jams, toast etc all washed down with teas, coffees and hot chocolate. The view over the river meuse was outstanding and the countryside stunning. We celebrated my 60th birthday and dined in the restaurant from the varied menu which was perfection. The patron and staff were amazing and he spoke English which was a huge bonus. A truly magical experience.

The hotel is located on a central road, just a 10-minute drive from Namur. Despite this, the sound isolation is excellent, and it was very quiet. We booked a family room, which was great—very comfortable for 4 people, with the teenagers sleeping on the terrace. The room was very clean and recently renovated. The breakfast was amazing, and we also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was equally delicious.

Perfect Stay! We had a perfect stay at this modern and beautifully designed hotel. The location is excellent situated between Namur and Dinant, it’s ideal for exploring both cities. The area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Free parking was a big plus. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. Highly recommended!

The family room was very spacious and spot clean. The bathroom was amazing which was spacious and had a great shower. Staffs were polite and supportive. Comfy beds and air conditioning made the stay cozy. Secured parking, though limited and requires pre booking.

The B&B hotel was a great place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was perfect, clean, air conditioned, good beds. Breakfast was excellent. We were just passing through but would recommend for a longer stay as well.

The room was well designed and bathroom was excellent. Very high power shower. Spotlessly clean. Great breakfast in a very modern self-service restaurant. Staff always happy to help.

This was our third time staying here to visit family nearby. All our stays have been pleasant without issues. The staff has always been nice and helpful. It is a unique hotel built around a factory which is cool. The accommodations are basic but get the job done. There are plenty of places to eat or get a drink nearby and a couple markets/food stores within easy walking distance. A walk along the river nearby is very enjoyable and there is a Lock nearby with viewing bridge to watch the barges go up river. The surrounding area is clean, safe and walkable.

This was our 3rd stay in 2 years, each time in a garden room. The terrace is so lovely to have in addition to the room. We asked for a 'more comfy' chair and we were given one which benefitted my wife immensely. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. 1 improvement would be a shower mat as the shower floor tiles are very slippery. On our last 2 visits we have bought a shower mat in a lical shop.

This was our 2nd stay in 2 years, same room with balcony. Only thing we needed was a comfortable armchair, but we will pre request one next stay. It will be interesting to see the new lounge bar that was still being constructed. The hotel is very convenient for the town centre and buses and just a 10 minute walk to the mainline station. Staff are very attentive and helpful.

The beds were very comfortable and the staff welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet was nothing fancy but very decent.

The hotel is in a really quiet neighborhood, and we loved the view of the farms from our balcony — it was peaceful and calming. Our room was spacious, and the beds were super comfortable, which made our stay very relaxing. If I had to point out one thing, it’s that the room could use a few more little touches. The hotel has kind of a big, concrete feel with high ceilings, so some artwork or cozy decor would definitely make it feel more inviting and homey. Parking was easy too — plenty of space right outside, which was great.

The whole Hotel is a breath of fresh air. From check-in to checkout, a really nice place to stay. Spotlessly clean, with very friendly and professional staff. Good value and the decor is to be admired. Having an adjoining restaurant is ideal, but the in-house breakfast is very good value, with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. In my opinion very good value for money. I have stayed at the Hotel twice and will be back again. Thanks to all the staff for making my stays really relaxing and enjoyable.

This was truly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and hospitality, making us feel at home right away. The only option on the machine was to plug the car in and scan a payment card. It wouldn’t take any payment card.

Nice spacious room, large beautiful bathroom, very kind and helpful stuff, unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked on this Sunday... but its possible to have 2 courses of the dinner brought with the room-service to your room... and it was delicious.... so was also the breakfast. You need a car to go to other restaurants or the city-center.

Sehr schönes B&B in der Nähe der Autobahn. Leicht zu erreichen. Schöner Ort. Vom Zimmer und vom Frühstücksraum eine super Aussicht. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Das Zimmer hatte eine angenehme Größe, das Badezimmer auch. Die Matratzen waren nicht so bequem, aber wir haben gut geschlafen, weil das Zimmer sehr ruhig war. Das Grundstück und das Haus waren sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Selbst gekochte Marmeladen, selbstgebackenes Brot und Brötchen, nebst Croisons, besser !!! als vom Bäcker. Liebevoll angerichtet. Pool und Jacuzzi konnten wir nicht ausprobieren - zu kalt und keine Zeit.

Quiet & calm location with a great view on the village church, spacious room and bathroom with heated floor. A special thanks to the very friendly hosts who made us feel welcomed. They even made quite an effort to make our breakfast vegetarian / vegan friendly. The breakfast was superb, fresh and local products, everything in abundance. We would like to come back.

Excellent stay and friendly owners! We were a group of 4 couples and booked all the rooms. All rooms were clean, very nice accomodation, very quiet. We actually also booked the dinner option, and it was amazing. Definitely worth doing. Breakfast was also great. Definitely recommended! Would book again if we're in the neighbourhood.

It's very hard to understand that the very negative reviews on here were of the same place we stayed. We stayed in a modern annex up the hill from the chateau. Was modern, clean, well laid out, reminiscent of a ski lodge. We went to the spa which was really nice, free towels, friendly staff, good facilities. (was a sunny day in May). We went to the restaurant and the food was plentiful and excellent. They only have a buffet for breakfast and dinner. We thought breakfast at 18EUR was better value than dinner at 50EUR but felt that this was still OK as the food quality was great for both meals. Lots of choice, staff nice and friendly again. Grounds are beautiful. Bar was nice. Terrace overlooking the forest and the lake was fantastic. Would make an outstanding wedding venue IMO. We were sharing rooms but paid a great rate, far better than an equivalent in the UK. Would recommend this all day long.

Buffet was absolutely delicious with local products, including salted butter, fresh charcuterie, eggs, cheese and jams.. and of course fresh croissants and baguette bread. The spa facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff absolutely accommodating and offering advices and knowledgeable tips. My son loved the idea to be sleeping in a castle! The rooms were modern, comfortable,clean and practical for a family of 3. The bubbles and beer served at the bar were absolutely brilliant, all locally sourced, including their version of champagne made in their own vineyard.

I came here for an overnight stay in mid-November. I had stayed here before for a work event but did not have the chance to make the most of the facilities. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. There are a lot of outdoor activities available and you can borrow a lot of equipment. I really enjoyed the Maison du Jardinier. It is a very cosy and a short walk to the Castle, where the meals are served, and the wellness area. The common area, with the fireplace in the evening, is lovely. The dinner was exquisite. There were so many choices and everything was very nicely cooked and using good quality ingredients. The staff were all very helpful and and friendly. It was a perfect relaxing weekend and I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

Domain lies on a magnificent location. really enjoyed the scenery. Wellness was great, although at one point (saturday afternoon) very crowdy (but on the contrary Friday afternoon relax). We had a room for 4 adults. Two single beds and one bed-seat, which was less comfortable but overall ok. We stayed at the Maison du Jardinier, which was very cosy and quiet. The surroundings are perfect to go for a run or walk. Breakfast is on minus one but very cosy setting, with a great view. For my opinion enought to choose from (including some local products). Worth the visit.

I have stayed in many hotels in this area normally on the E42 when travelling back from the Alps.Staying here was such a pleasure. A small family run hotel in a quiet village next to the church. Lovely people, very clean rooms, great breakfast, bar and restaurant . If the restaurant is not fully open then the staff provide a meal for the guests which is excellent home made quality. The hotel is very easy to find and you are quickly back onto the E42 in the morning. I very much look forward to staying here again.

We liked romantic atmosphere, beautiful exterior and the park. Size of the room was good for 2 adults and 2 kids. Very simple, but for us it was ok. We were in castle building. Big rooms are there and they were renovated couple of years ago. Nice breakfast, but if you will be later than 9:00, probably you won’t have food enough. But it’s a very nice place to start your day, good view from restaurant, for sure it cost that. Bar was very nice too with few zones for chill and relax, they also have something to do for kids there. Read the story of the castle and the owners, it might be interesting.

Amazing place with lots of things you can do (nature walking,riding a bicycle, swimming pool,sauna, campfire on the tarace). The place is clean with friendly staff. There is also a Swedish breakfast and the food was delicious.

Where do we begin… For starters, this is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. Our room — a corner room in the Château — overlooked the beautiful gardens and pond. Based on the photos we expected a nice room, but it exceeded our expectations; it was BIG, the bath tub was great (😉), and the bed was extremely comfortable. The entire property offered great walks. We didn't make use of the wellness centre or the restaurant, but both looked great. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It's great value for money. We can't wait to return!

The hotel is situated close to everything you want to see and visit, and the staff was all super friendly.

We booked a superior room with garden view and had a room on the top floor with a cool terrace overlooking the pool and garden. The bed was comfortable, the room was a bit on the smaller side though. The staff was friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and sitting area by the pool.

This quirky comtemporary hotel is in a great riverside location. Parking was a bit tight but fine. There are steep stairs from the top car park to the hotel, through a lovely new garden. Our rooms had river views across the road. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was really good. Only a short walk to restaurant and bars.

This is a very nice and cosy boutique hôtel close the city center, at the bottom of the famous Citadelle. Rooms are very comfortable (decoration style is bold… you like it or not) and the real cherry on the cake is an excellent and affordable restaurant on site. Staff is super friendly and helpful. It was not my first time there and it won’t be the last.

After a busy day in Brussels we landed here. After a perfect welcome we got a nice room with a bad and view on the garden (so no streetnoise). We enjoyed a good, stylisch and creative meal served by a super professional and friendly staff. The breakfast can only be good.

I had a spacious single bed that was very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious, loved that. Even though you're close to a noisy road, when closing the window you didn't hear that at all, noise isolation was super! Breakfast was good, and the personnel checking in and out was very friendly. I only stayed for the night as I was traveling to a wedding the next day, but it had everything I needed.

The rooms were comfortable, and I stayed in different ones over a 10-day period. The staff were all amazing and very helpful—my sincere thanks to them. The breakfast was pleasant and had a cozy atmosphere.

The room was smaller than I expected, but was perfectly comfortable with all the amenities you would expect of a nice hotel (fridge, TV with channels in French, German and English - incl. BBC, bath robe, kettle). The reception staff were helpful and happy to supply proper milk for the teas and coffees. The restaurant was handy - the meals nice enough but a little pricey and service very slow. But there was a burger place in the car park if you wanted something else. Breakfast was good - all the variety you'd expect (cereal, eggs sausage and bacon, yogurts, fresh fruit, continental bits...). Plus the car park was more than ample. I'd stay again with no qualms.

After a long day driving from London to Belgium, followed immediately by a work meeting, I was very tired upon arrival but instantly cheered up by the greeting from Kevin, who was so friendly and helpful. The hotel has a retro charm and glamour to it, and the rooms were simple but very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well, and the towels and bedding had been washed using a detergent with a lovely, fresh smell. I slept very well, which is rare for me when travelling! The breakfast was a nice buffet, with hot food, pastries, cereal and fruit.

A traditional style old hotel with some lovely features. Very easy check in and friendly, helpful staff, there is a lift which helps and reception is on the first floor. We arrived a little early but they had a locked room so we could leave our luggage whilst we went out until check in time. Rooms are lovely and clean, warm and with comfortable beds and toiletries included in the en-suite, kettle etc in room but being a Brit not enough Tea but they gladly gave more on request! Great location immediately opposite the railway station & bus terminal but it was really quiet in our room despite outside being a hub of activity, great for people watching! There are bars, restaurants and shops within easy, flat walking distance. A lovely city. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This hotel is far above the accepted standards of Belgium, and however at a reasonable price. I would like to point out the kindness of staff, the excellent breakfast (buffet), coffee and tea facilities in the room (which is hardly to be found elsewhere in Belgium), the lift. The rooms are comfy and very quiet although the building is located just opposite to the station. They have a bagage room which is also very convenient.

The hotel is located in front of railway station. However, no noise from the city if the room has a window from the yard side. Nearby are a good selection of cafes, restaurants, shops. The staff is very friendly and qualified. The room has normal size. The shower room is big and clean. Powerful refrigerator (bar) and teapot are in the room. The breakfast is modest but sufficient.

Location was brilliant being directly by the River Meuse. Plentiful breakfast buffet taken in breakfast room overlooking the river. Our room was very comfortable - lovely high bed. Excellent bathroom. Special thanks to Stephanie for booking us a table for dinner at a local restaurant overlooking the river. Also special thanks to Nicolas for his very warm welcome and for researching and finding a shop where we were able to purchase a replacement sat nav which was essential for us to continue our holiday as ours had failed on the way to the hotel.

We liked the location, right next to the river Meuse with garden access to the river bank. This offers fresh air, tranquility and walk alongside the river bank. We went for a walk in one evening, it was quiet so the whole place is yours. Very beautiful. We also liked the lobby there. We sat there many times during our stay, enjoying the comfort, home feeling, the lush green and quietness from the back side of the hotel. The lobby has access to coffee, tea, beers etc. all day. You just note it down what you want to drink with room number then help yourself. It’s a family business so the hosts couldn’t be more helpful. Whenever you approach them or ask anything, they will respond immediately with the best advices you could have hoped for.

We had a lovely spacious room, bed was very comfy, and the breakfast was delicious. Apple juice from the Apple trees in the garden . Restaurants only 1.5km away. The owners were very friendly and helpful .

We intended to stay next to the Meuse river for bicycling and visiting the area. The location was perfect. The room with a huge balcony was overlooking the river. I like the parking. The shower is wide. Sink in a room is a good idea. The personnel is very friendly. The hotel is far from the city of Namur, but for us, it was OK, as we came by car.

The greetings and host was great and very helpful.

Good for an overnight stop as it is very close to the motorway and has plenty of free parking. Recently, the door locking system has been upgraded from an unreliable key pad combination to a key card which is far better.

We booked a room and arrived at 23.35 at night and they waited for us and settled in the room, we thought that we were late and we would sleep on the street in the car. Thanks to the hotel staff !!!

We have previously stayed at this hotel. We found the staff extremely courteous and friendly. The food was very good with a good variety of food available from the menu. Breakfast was good and caters for all dietary needs. Our room was at the rear of the stablishment and was quite quiet.The room was clean, tidy and comfortable.

Martine and Bernard, the extremely friendly couple who run the boat hotel, we’re great and looked out for us. Amazing breakfast (charged separately), very quiet room with no movement despite being in the water. Free parking for the car available just in front. Get a room with a view of the water! Lots of good restaurant recommendations within walking distance.

I normally never take the time to write reviews but I feel it is my duty to do so on this stay. Having worked myself in hospitality for many years, experienced top notch properties all over the world with excellent service. The boat is located at the center of Namur, everything is just a stone throw away. You can easily walk within minutes to the center, to the citadel, to the casino (fun at night time). Bernard, the host (I hope I remember his name correct), is very kind and social, his Flemish is cute! He arrives in the morning to prepare your breakfast but then leaves so you can just hang around the boat and do your thing, leaves you to your privacy. Before arrival Bernard asked if there was a special occasion for our stay, he did the effort to get a bottle of champagne as it was my partner birthday - at no cost. Breakfast is amazing, ask for boiled eggs and he brings in this thing that will make the perfect crack in your egg so you can spoon it out. I give this stay, the MS Elisabeth - Péniche Hôtel and Bernard my top rating!

We arrived quite late but received clear guidance from the owners regarding where to park and how to access the boat. The only temporary (few minute) hitch resulted from stupidity on our part regarding how the door onto the boat works (it slides) We were the only ones staying on the boat so we had the deck to ourselves and spent an hour and a half relaxing and sipping wine (that we brought) while enjoying the night. We had the room with the double bed and it was extremely comfortable. I had to get up early to do a few hours of work and appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room (not so uncommon these days, but still a nice touch). I was able to sit out on the comfortable deck and work while watching the sun come up. The breakfast was excellent. My wife and I were very sorry that we were only spending one night. We definitely plan to come back.

The boat has a great location, just under te Citadell of Namur. From our room we had a special and beautiful view of the river and the houses on the other side of the riverbank. Our room had a very comfortable bed and we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. I can recommend this place wholeheartedly if you are up for a not ordinary stay in the city of Namur!

We love pretty much everything about this property. The host were very accommodating and welcoming specially the owner! The communication was fantastic event though the owner was on her vacation! Evelyne made sure we are taken cared of! Breakfast was tasty and they served us delicious homemade pastries. Rivaldi and Luna was the sweetest pup ever!

The host was welcoming and our room was very comfortable and quiet despite being at the front. Breakfast was great and catered for most tastes with many homemade things to choose from. As cyclists there was secure storage for our bikes undercover.

The breakfast (oh the breakfast!), the lovely furry friends, the garden, the rooms, the rainshowers, the cleanliness, the fact that we could relax like at home and yet still with a feeling of understated luxury with every small detail thought of. Most of all the people, in particular the hostess and her team, but also the other guests. We had 3 little children with us and not once were we made to feel that we were a nuissance, quite the opposite. Thank you for everything, we will be back again, no doubt!

we loved everything about our stay. The room was bright and airy. crisp clean bedding and a very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were also excellent offering a huge choice of teas and fresh coffee. There was even Nesquick! accompanied by the nicest biscuits. The bathroom room was the biggest I’ve ever seen! The bathroom had all the toiletries you’d ever need. In the morning perfectly cooked eggs and fresh bread was delivered to our door, this along with the amazing choice of jams and spreads set us up for the day. I thoroughly recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

An amazing cozy place. With all the appliances needed, comfy, nice room, enormous bathroom, a delicious breakfast with fresh bread! They where so nice to let us do a late check-in! The small city and all the beautiful landscapes are so incredible! We can go by bike to everywhere (don't forget your bike or rent some at some place near by). I would recommend this place and I wish I could come back again!

I recently stayed at Escale Chambre d'hôtes Au Cœur de Vieux Profondeville, and my experience was a mix of positives and areas that could be improved. 1. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring. It was nice to have that extra room to unwind. 2. The flexible check-in process was much appreciated. It made my arrival stress-free and allowed me to settle in at my own pace. 3. The fresh bread and eggs served in the morning were a lovely touch. It’s always great to start the day with a breakfast that feels homemade and fresh. However, while these aspects were enjoyable, there were some areas where the experience fell a bit short, leading me to rate it 3 stars overall.

Modern, clean, cosy. Room was surprisingly big. Shower and Wi-Fi were awesome, which I find to be quite rare when travelling. Coffee maker in the room. Did not interact with the staff at all, since everything was set up quite nicely via phone. Very close to Namur railway station.

Best value. Good position; in a few minutes, you can be downtown. A good parking option is a 4-minute walk away for €15.40, but it's really safe—better than €6 street parking. The room/toilet was very clean, and the shower drain worked well, which is important to me. Simple, nice furniture, comfy bed. I was afraid the trains would be noisy, but they weren't disturbing.

The location was excellent and incredibly convenient! Being so centrally situated in Namur made exploring the city on foot an absolute breeze. Everything was within easy reach. It was just a short, pleasant walk to the train station (a huge plus for arrivals/departures!), the beautiful city centre with its shops and restaurants, and all the main historical sights like the Citadel and the River Meuse for a stroll. It genuinely enhanced our stay, as we spent less time travelling and more time enjoying Namur. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who values a perfectly placed base for sightseeing!

I was a solo traveller and enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very friendly, informative and co-operative. I was enabled to have as much privacy as required by me, but there were also areas for social engagement with other guests, had I so wanted. The building was exceptionally quiet post 9pm, which suited. Surprising as the hostel was (nearly?) full on the first night. The room I stayed in was very clean, including the towel offered and bed linen. The room was fresh and airy. The breakfast was wholesome Continental and something to look forward to starting the day. The location is over a mile away from the town's shopping area, again which suited, as I prefer to gradually engage with more populated areas. The main part of this walk is beside the river and is pleasant. There is an infrequent (hourly?) bus service from the train station stopping nearby, which I didn't use. I particularly enjoyed resting in the common balcony area in the evenings. This is a semi-open area located just above the front door and overlooks the river. It was also kept clean. I felt very safe throughout, which is very important as a solo traveller. I would certainly stay in this hostel again, should I go again to Namur.

Very welcoming staff, great recommendations on what to see and eat, beautifully located along the river, clean facilities, good WiFi, and nice breakfast. It was a bit of a walk to get to the city center but it is all along the river so is very scenic and peaceful. They also rent bikes with locks if you prefer or you can take the bus (bus stop a couple blocks away from the building). I took the bus to and from the train station and it was fairly straightforward and fast.

The service and the staff - wow, absolutely outstanding! 10 out 5 stars definetely, top marks. Really nice to see enviroment saving facilities. Different, but good experience. We had dinner at the hostel. There was only 2 choices, and prepared microwave meals, however really tasty! 👍They have a guest kitchen too, free on street parking. Hostel is in a very cosy and central location, walking distance to the castle and town centre. Beds were quite comfortable and we did have a good night sleep. Will definitely stay there again.

Have to remember to bring own soap next time. Sorry to miss brekfst provided. Early departure.

Bathroom too was huge and beautifully decorated, and what a view from the loo! Staff were very friendly. The Korean Grill was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone staying. We ate out on the terrace. Breakfast too was lovely, out on the terrace. I would recommend a stay ... and the strawberries 🍓 if in season.

Perfectly located to walk into town, both Namur and across the bridge to Jambes. Beautifully furnished, modern and comfortable. Also has access to a fully-equipped kitchen on the top floor, with access to a sunny outdoor terrace with views to the castle.

Everything was perfect for our needs. Great place for a family or group of people. Easy access to the town of Namur for dining, exploring and shopping. The outdoor area was very quaint and nice to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. Loved seeing our cat neighbor curiously watching our activities. What a pleasant surprise this town and property were! We diverted to Namur on our way to Bruges. Saw this listing, booked it at the last minute. All I can say is, wow! First off, the walk from the train station was super easy. The communication with Anne-Françoise and Jean-Philippe was quick and clear. They were waiting for us when we arrived and graciously showed us the property. It is so so so cute and clean with all necessities you would need. They told us about their city with some really interesting facts and then graciously provided some Belgian beer which we drank on the cute terrace that backs up to the Citadel wall. So beautiful. Our only regret? That we couldn’t stay longer. Someday we hope to get back there and see the stilt competition, drink more Belgian beer, and stay at this lovely property again. Thank you!!!!

We stayed here for a week and Anne Catherine varied the breakfasts every day. One day we even had pancakes. The homemade jams were delicious. We had both suites for our family group, they were spacious and comfortable and we had use of a garden. As our French is not very good, the hosts phoned restaurants for us to book tables. We couldn’t have asked for more. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Interior and exterior design are great with the artistic touch to every detail. Comfortable and quality stay at every aspect( beautiful and tasty breakfast, high quality of the bedsheets and towels, free bottles of water and tea, bio body and hand wash with very pleasant smell and other sanitary products). Many useful tips from where to have a dinner to what to see in the area. Highly recommended and looking forward to coming back

The host is really friendly. We also enjoyed the more traditional B&B with breakfast at the main table in the house. The house is very well designed and modern. The bathtub is great after driving/cycling. Surely recommended, will come back if we pass the village again!

Beautiful B&B, very good breakfast. Homemade jam, products from garden and region. The owners are very nice and helpful. Very spacious room.

within walking distance of citadel (if you don't mind the stairs), 1 block away from the Meuse river (but no view). A few minutes away from the city centre. Great shower. Perfect if you're looking for a cheap, practical place to rest your head.

Great place. Very central with the citadel view. Very comfortable and clean place with all the necessary amenities. Parking either free on the street nearby (not directly opposite, but about 5 min walk) or paid also nearby. Definitely recommend if you need to stop in Namur

Perfect apartment! Big, clean and there's everything you need. The balconies were also perfect. Great location!
