Breakfast was predictable and fine. Fruit plate was great. The fresh squeezed juice was amazing and the French pastries excellent each day! The outside terrace space is truly lovely and the wait staff five stars! As for the hotel- the location in Casco Viejo is romantic and iconic. The historic old building's new design is chic and spectacular. We enjoyed the Latin music on Friday night at the roof top bar. Throughout our stay the hotel personnel were extremely polite and accommodating. The Panamanian hotel staff all speak at least two or three languages, so the communication level between staff and guests was exceptional. The neighborhood where the hotel is located seemed very safe for walking the streets and seeing the other local museums, restaurants, and stores. All of our interactions with the local Panamanians was friendly and fun! Nobody was hounding us in the street. Checking out the local stands where the Guna people are selling molas and handcrafts was an added bonus. We felt safe exploring the area both during the day and at night.

Beautiful hotel, the only 2 details was that we arrived at 12:00 and the room was not ready ready until 3:00 pm, and the wifi is really bad, one day we couldn’t watch tv, but the staff, restaurants, they are very friendly, we had a dinner at Caleta, and it was an amazing experience,and delicious, nice room, comfy bed, ocean front balcony, very safe area, the pool very clean, nice and relaxing, thanks Sofitel it was a really good choice to stay there

My family and I just returned home from our second stay at this beautiful hotel! My husband and I stayed here last summer and loved it so much, this year we bought along our teen daughters and it was extraordinary. The hotel is so beautiful, clean, and the staff are top notch. We had a room with butler service and Orlando, Delsher, Carlos, and Angelique went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. They checked in with us every morning and evening making sure all our needs were met— they truly made our stay feel so luxurious and worry free. The rooms are large, beds dreamy, and housekeeping does a meticulous job making it spotless. My teen daughters loved the pool area which has not only a great pool but outdoor showers, and beautiful ocean view. The pool staff are very attentive and friendly. The concierge helped arrange airport transportation and answered all questions. The front desk could not be more helpful or kind. Finally a huge shout out to Eimy who went above and beyond in helping me with the reservation when I had a very unfortunate travel issue- she was SO AMAZING in helping me sort my family and my travel reservations and I’m extremely grateful for her kindness. Finally don’t hesitate to stay here— this hotel and its staff are a gift and treat you like family. I can’t wait to go back.

This was an absolutely beautiful hotel with charming touches throughout. Our room was spacious and the view from the balcony was amazing. We had coffee in the morning on the balcony. Breakfast was delicious. Staff throughout the hotel were attentive and wonderful (special mention to Jesus and Gerrardo and Yazit and other staff at the restaurant). The whole area of Casco Viejo is beautiful and the hotel is perfectly located for strolls all through the day. An absolutely beautiful hotel. We loved our stay!

Breakfast were great. Many choices of fresh juices & tasty food including the choice of local breakfast. Waiters were very attentive, professional & friendly. I also had dinner at Caleta with family who were staying at a different hotel. Every small dinner choice we made was excellent not only in looks but flavor too. My 6 yrs old nephew spilled & broke his juice drink and they very calmly moved us to a new table a clean the mess. Hardly a hiccup of an event. 😍

This property was beautiful, in an amazing location in the heart of Casco Viejo. The staff were so helpful. We had awesome drivers, Kenneth and Julio, who went above and beyond from airport pick up to dinner recommendation and a shopping trip. They helped us navigate and translate to get us exactly where and what we needed! Five stars! The room was perfect with an amazing balcony to over look the plaza. Live music in lobby and out in plaza at night. Breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious as well. So much to explore, we will be back to stay again!

Incredible area, hotel is amazing and classy. Had an amazing time for a 3 night stay. Room was small and comfortable. Fortunately we only had one carry on bag, so we can maneuver around. We didn’t have breakfast from the hotel, thought it was too much and didn’t want to stuff ourself’s for breakfast buffet. Had breakfast options from other nearby restaurants instead.

Beautiful historic hotel located on the central plaza of the old town “Casco Viejo”. Perfect location to wander about the old town for a few days . Wonderful restaurants , from the casual rooftop restaurant to the gourmet Panamanian restaurant to a sumptuous breakfast buffet . I would stay here again in a minute!

First of all, the location was outstanding. Speaking às someone who has known Panamá very well for over 40 years, and resided in Panamá for many of those years, there is no better location for a touristic visit to the city, especially a first visit. The service was very good; all the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also great: tasty, well-presented, and convenient... The hours were really great, much better than typical. The major drawback was the room. This is an expensive hotel for Panamá, but I still expect a bit more space for the money. My wife and I had a standard room, and it was really small.The shower was super tiny, and the design made it a constant struggle to avoid soaking the bathroom floor. The minibar was even more of a ripoff than usual. Other than the quality of the rooms, this hotel hots the mark in every regard.

Central Hotel is a treasure. The location is ideal -- right on the square with the cathedral and the Canal museum (which is superb), and an easy walk to all of Casco Viejo. My room was spacious, modern, and immaculately kept, with a large, spotless bath; the amenities were first-rate, especially the several restaurants; and the staff could not have been more helpful. I recommend it without reservation.

The room was very clean and nice. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well and the shower had nice water pressure. The woman at the front desk was very helpful in helping us figure out how to get to the airport the next day and the man who drove the shuttle even lent us his toll pass because we had to return rental cars. We loved the rooftop pool which had a wading pool that was perfect for our toddler as well as a large pool for the rest of us to swim in. The restaurant was fine. The food was tasty and not too expensive. The area was alright, but just a few blocks away improved greatly and we had a nice view of the water. We were there on New Years eve so we were woken up by fireworks, but other than that it was nice and quiet. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

The hotel lobby is nicely decorated. We were given rooms on the 3rd floor and we were very disappointed when we saw the rooms but decided to stay and make the best of it. We were glad we did. Although the furnishings were old, the entire room, including the tile floor, was spotless. The mattress and sheets were clean. The air conditioner worked very well in one room and was adequate in the other room. Whatever the room lacked was made up by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. While I didn't eat every item that was served for breakfast, there were many items that I enjoyed and they were plentiful. There was fresh fruit and fresh juice every day that was delicious. The rooftop pool and restaurant were great. Drinks were inexpensive and delicious. We enjoyed our stay and I would stay there again. You cannot beat it for the price. If you book in advance, try to request a remodeled room on the 5th or 6th floor.

I had a very nice room (good size and clean) looking out on the water. The hotel is older but very clean, the staff are great, the rooftop pool was perfect for me to cool off and splash around in (small and shallow) and very clean but not for swimming. The breakfast has 3 or 4 choices which are simple but good. The only problem I had was the wireless would not connect for me but they have some wired computers in the rooftop restaurant that they let you use for free. The hotel is a good walk to the boardwalk and the old city. There is a small grocery close by. I did not walk around after dark. I really have only good things to say about this hotel. It is a great deal for the price.

Great rooftop restaurant with good food, good prices, and excellent staff. Small gym is also on the same floor requires some creativity to get your regular workout in. Large poolside sitting area could use a couple umbrellas for shade. Unlimited free coffee in the mornings which was great! Not a great neighborhood BUT the Metro is only ONE block away. BTW, you have to buy the Metro card for $2 THEN you can load money on it. $.35 to any station. VERY helpful Metro staff but only speak Spanish. Not thrilled with the Bahia card key policy, only one. You use it to power on the electricity in the room. When you leave, no electricity. No charging of devices. I found out the front desk is happy to charge your devices while your gone. I guess that's why my rate was only $55 per night. Rooms were modest but comfortable and AC was strong. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. One of the surprises that I wasn't expected was the strong internet, EVERYWHERE, rooms, poolside, restaurant. Free parking and laundry room was a plus and I used both.

Hotel is ok, bit dated in places. Good points, bed is comfy, there is a small roof terrace and pool, staff friendly enough, few minutes to the nearest metro station, breakfast is ok, but there is no choice, you are just handed a plate. Down points would be the local area is not great, few local restaurants around,

Our stay at The Santa Maria Hotel in Panama City was nothing short of spectacular! This five-star luxury hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the well-trained, kind, and professional staff catered to our every need, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. The room features were excellent—comfortable, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The dining options were exceptional, offering a variety of delicious choices, and the spa was absolutely stunning—a perfect place to unwind. The expansive outdoor pool with a poolside restaurant and DJ created a lively yet sophisticated atmosphere. One of the highlights was having access to the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course—a golfer’s dream! The course was well-manicured and impeccably managed, making for an unforgettable experience. Overall, The Santa Maria Hotel is truly a gem in Panama City. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

This was just a beautiful resort. Gorgeous building, nice comfy rooms, excellent food, nice pools. To Uber everywhere was easy from this resort and tours would charge $10 to pick you up there, but no big deal. Our kids loved the pools and breakfast buffet. The only feedback I really have is to have a safety shower mat for the shower, as the floor gets slippery, and our toddler slipped twice in there and bumped his head. Also- we could not go in the pool on New Years Eve, as they were setting up for party. A playground over on the turf between the golf center and main lobby would be AMAZING for families, as there is no playground for kids to run around currently, and the rooms are tight. Other than that, amazing stay!

10/10 luxury Hotel. First time in Panama. My family (2 adults 2 teens-17 &14) had a fantastic vacation at the Santa Maria Golf and Resort from start to finish. When we arrived, we were well served by the concierge team and the property was so beautiful. The front desk was very welcoming and top tier.. We spent 5 nights at the resort. The pool was exceptional and the golf course immaculate. Room service came everyday- fresh towels, cleaned the room, replenished our coffee area and fridge. Breakfast was delicious; lots of variety of food. The only negative, they do not have a designated gift shop but they had a long strip nearby, walkable distance with a pharmacy, pet store, etc…we will come back

The property was absolutely beautiful! It was very clean and well kept. It was easy to navigate and inviting. The staff were absolutely amazing and so helpful and attentive. The gentleman at the pool was very attentive and kind. The rooms were so comfortable and spacious. They cleaned and tidied the room twice throughout the day which was amazing.

The Santa Maria hotel is beautiful! We stay at this hotel for 5 nights. As soon as you walk into the lobby, you will see a beautiful flower display. The hotel, restaurants, rooms and pool areas were clean. The employees are genuinely kind and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. By day 2 of our stay, most of the staff recognized us and remembered our drinks from the prior day. There are plenty of chairs, day beds and cabanas by the pool. Most importantly, you do not have to pay extra for the cabana or day beds. The breakfast buffet was definitely a favorite. There are more than enough options. The hotel also offers music such as a band or a DJ every night from 7:00-9:00pm. There is also a lunch brunch on Sundays that you have the option of attending. The hotel is also close to Panama City with only a 15 minute drive. The employees at the hotel also offered to help you find tours, and a booklet for looking at the options. The golf course was usually busy, but in the mornings had a lower attendance. The Santa Maria hotel was a beautiful and relaxing place to stay.

The location of the hotel was excellent. In the city center, close to facilities and a metro station. For 5 nights the offered a good price. I also found the only hotel with a 2 hours earlier checkin and 2 hours later checkout wich match perfect with my air plane dates. The room was big, the bad also. Which was very comfortable. They got a restaurant. I used twice which was surprinsingly good. I found locale customers and hotel guests booth in the restaurant. This is a relativly big hotel but they have 2 elavators. They also offered ice for free on the coridors. The stuff speaks less English but by using some translators apps they helped me in everything and solved anything I asked for.The bathroom got a windows wich is a big plus. It is an older building without central ventilation system.Despite a few problems on a price/value ratio it was is an excellent choice to stay in Panama City.

All of our interactions with staff were great. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and her English was very good as my Spanish is very poor. Also the restaurant staff were very attyand friendly. Our room was spotless unlike other reviews I have read. But that may have been their experience.

I was impressed with the hotel, associates really professional and friendly, helping with anything. Room was comfortable with all amenities necessary, including a safe. Hotel has a fitness center a swimming pool with a bar and has a restaurant, convenience store, gift shop and a bar, with a variety of beverages and cocktails and more. Has a transfer service for you go anywhere in the city, has a 24 hour service for food. Really was a great choice. Around the hotel, you have a lot of options for your quick bite or lunch.

The staff is wonderfully helpful. My standard room was large, furnished in contemporary style. The bed was very comfortable. I travel for business. The accommodations included USC charger outlet and lots of desk/table space for me to work! My rate included a buffet breakfast that exceeds any cruise ship breakfast buffet. The restaurants are well designed without crowding. The service inall three restaurants was excellent.

We had a fantastic experience at Westin Playa Bonita once again. The resort is beautiful and impeccably maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms that made our stay very relaxing. We also noticed that the beach was cleaner this time and truly appreciate the hotel’s efforts to maintain it. We understand that in some areas of Panama, trash collection is limited, and unfortunately, waste can end up in the ocean, so these efforts are especially meaningful. We’d also like to recognize some of the staff members who went above and beyond to make our visit special — their friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed: Armando – Thank you for accommodating our family and helping us with the kayak ride. We had a wonderful, fun and relaxing time at the Westin Playa Bonita Hotel in Panama and look forward to making the journey back next year for vacation. The hotel is elegant and grand with magnificent views of the ocean, pools and landscaped gardens. The guest rooms are large, beautifully decorated and well appointed with all you need for a very comfortable stay. The balcony was large with nice patio furniture and a spectacular panoramic view of the beach, sea, pools and gardens. The rooms were super clean as well as the entire hotel. The variety of restaurants was amazing with entrees prepared by experienced chefs. They offered everything you could possibly want. The hotel staff deserve special thanks for providing consistently efficient, professional service, and always with a warm smile. I had a great stay at Playa Bonita Panama. The hotel was lovely, well maintained, peaceful and secluded, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was experiencing the dramatic shift between the high and low tides at the beach, it was truly amazing to witness. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind by the beach.

Top marks to the Italian Oregano restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was good and affordable (except the $9 bottle of water). The hotel is clean but it is not a 5 star hotel. A solid 4, but there were so many things missing or broken in our room from the hair dryer, phone, fridge and lamp to the bathroom fan that squealed like a fire alarm when it would finally kick on. There was no safe and the maid service was a bit inconsistent. One day I would have four washcloths and no hand towels, then four hand towels and no washcloths. We stayed a week and I don't go through towels that often, but it was weird. And there is no sound proofing. None. Expect to hear everything that happens upstairs, next door and in the hallway. Also, I did not love the open air concept of the bath. If the bathtub were on the balcony and you could see the view, fine, don't put a wall in, but to have it open to the bedroom was weird, especially when maintenance finally traipses through to fix one of the broken things, while you're in the bath. And the toilet being separated but walled off only with frosted glass that did not go to the floor or ceiling...there are some things we don't willingly share in our marriage. We went the first week of June which is the off-season and the beach and pool were empty. It rained a little every day, but we still got plenty of sun and a lot of attention from staff.

Everything single thing about this resort was exceptional words cannot describe the courteous and dedicated staff very helpful,kind,always positive and with the brightest smile on their faces ….Luisa from front desk and the guy that works the coffee bar during the day really really made my stay even more beautiful …resort is always super clean,the views are amazing and you feel very very safe…DEFINITELY MY GO TOO SPOT WHEN EVER I VISIT PANAMA

I stayed at Dreams with my 5 year-old son and we LOVED it! Everything was excellent. The room was super spacious and clean. The pool are has so many options for everyone; at least 3 to 4 pools for the children area, it was easy for my son to enjoy the pool safely. There is also an adult-only pool area with multiple pools. We loved having so many choices to pick from their 4 all-inclusive restaurants. The menu was very good and with multiple choices depending on what you want to eat (i.e. seafood, Italian, Panamanian, and I believe there was one adult-only restaurant). I do have to warn that this hotel is near the city but I only recommend staying here if you want to disconnect from the stress of the city with a short drive and just relax. There is also the beach but this is not the ideal beach for swimming. There are plenty of activities to do at this hotel, food is great and I personally recommend it if you are only looking to relax and disconnect. If you have kids, they will have so much fun at the pool and the Kids Club offer movies for kids at night. Bring bug spray as this is a tropical area.

Music was great, although it could be a bit loud from time to time Food was very good, plentiful and varied. Kudos to the Italian restaurant Staff were excellent. My wife had sprained her ankle a few days before our arrival, so the staff put us in a room close to most amenities….it was very, very much appreciated. The restaurant staff were excellent, with special mention for Kathleen Jesse and Manuel. Our room was quiet and spacious and kept clean The pools were warm and clean, with great towel services Grounds we’re beautifully kept

Great customer service. Clean. Delicious food and drinks. Preferred club bar lounge and preferred pool area. Mr. Faustino A. was the best driver from transportation services!!! He made us feel comfortable and safe.

The food was on the whole delicious! There were a range of buffets on each day. Delicious bread. We loved the seafood restaurant. Staff were exceptionally attentive and pleasant. Free kayaks were great to kayak with the diving pelicans at sea! Lots of activities available from yoga, archery, gold and dance all available on the daily QR code. Good quality booze kept us very happy too! Bring your own reusable cup to save plastic cups required by the pools.

Nice hotel in middle of Panama City . . . nice looking place. Pool with jacuzzi, nice bar, casino.

The room was big and comfortable. With a coffee maker, and large refrigerator and freezer. Hot water and cool A/C. But mostly it was the helpful, professional, and friendly staff that made our stay enjoyable. That plus the great rooftop area with all the seating, pool, restaurant and bar. We'll definitely be back for a longer stay.

Everything topped my expectations. 1. The staff is super helpful and speaks great English. 2. The area is how it is in Panama but not dodgy or unsafe in my opinion. Everywhere security and I travel alone as a women and never felt bad. But sure it's not an area where you go out for dinner and chill on the street. But that's why this great hotel is cheap. If you want the same standard in the old town you would pay 3 times as much. And hey, from the hotel to casco viejo it's between 2.25 dollars and 2,50...so absolutely no problem. But back to the high quality of this hotel 3. Great big absolutely clean rooms. Even a fridge and microwave and Coffeemaschine. But if you are lazy u even get free coffee in the reception area in the morning. How lovely is that? 4. The chef Eric will make you the best fish you have eaten. I loved it and asked him all about it. Go and get the "Pescado tilapias" u will love it. It's fresh and so tasty. 5. The roof top with the pool is nice to chill out, they even sometimes have music and if you want to have a drink at the bar... All there. So all in all, I have been travelling for 5 months and seen a lot. This hotel is worth every cent. I did not even have to pay extra for a late checkout.

The staff members were excellent, helpful, and very friendly. They provided excellent service. My wife and I were very happy. The hotel is located very close to a Metro Station, so it was very easy to get to the airport and around the city because the Metro is very good and clean. The hotel is located within walking distance to the ocean, the old town, attractions, and to good restaurants. Our room had a safe to store our passports. We will definitely stay there the next time we visit Panama City.

I loved how friendly and welcoming all the staff members where from the security to the house maids where lovely and welcoming to us. the Owner is a love man he is warm and welcoming. the location is in the heart of the hussle and bussle which I liked, for breakfast they are actually doing some renovations which was fine with me.

The staff were lovely. The initial room given to us was dusty and when we brought it up with Maria at reception, she upgraded us to beautiful room. It was big and spacious, spotless and the bed so comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Norka at concierge was a delight to chat with. She was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Great location. Gabriel was very attentive and helpful. The cocktails at the bar and the restaurant was very good. We had a lovely stay.

The staff at the Bristol were friendly and helpful from the bell men to the receptionists. Meggie, one of the receptionists, was particularly helpful. I had difficulty reserving a ferry to Contadora Island on my phone, but she arranged the passage and printed out copies of the ticket. The rooms we had were spacious, luxurious, and clean with good AC and good wifi. Both rooms we stayed in had high ceilings. It is a half block from a 100 year old French Restaurant - Paul's- which has very good food. A block away is an excellent Galician restaurant. From our room you could see the Pacific. The breakfast buffet is amazing. If you are on a Windstar Cruise, the cruise line recommends this hotel , offers transportation from here (at a price), and has a representative present in the lobby.

This place is the best hotel in panama, period. I have stayed in most of the luxury hotels, in Panama City, and nothing compares. They bring good old days service and standards into modern, friendly, welcoming environment. The bed and bedding are superb, all sparkling clean everything, spacious rooms, amazing food in their restaurant. Comfortably located on a quiet side street. Hotel is really quite unique and luxury, however general feeling is quite strange. This place offers less choices for breakfast, but its quality is worth that. Rooms are big and comfortable, location is very convenient. I did enjoy a lot the attention of extra staff at reception, which made me feel really welcomed. It has very high quality restaurant for dinner too. I would enjoy the chance to compliment Alcides for its excellent work at the restaurant during my dinner.

We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed our stay. The location is great for tourists who want to experience local restaurants. Carpe Diem was our favorite food place. The rooftop restaurant in the building has stunning views and great happy hour. The hotel is new, rooms are spacious and breakfast was delicious. We had to wait 3h to check in since we arrived early but the desk rep gave us good tips to walk around and offered to keep our bags while we're waiting. Check in and out was easy. Lobby has a few sitting areas and can get crowded but the reception folks are very friendly and helpful, the most friendly and helpful we've experienced in our entire week in Panama. We haven't used room service since we were out of the hotel playing tourists most of the time. The pool is small and there is no hot tub (website says there is). The restaurant in the hotel is not the best, you're better off walking to the little restaurants behind the hotel for better service and food or coffee. Or use Uber to go anywhere else, it's really affordable. This is not a high end hotel but very nice, safe and clean. Overall, highly recommended.

Loved our stay here! Great location, and the hotel was lovely. The staff was excellent across the board - on check in, the Receptionist realized our group of 9 are friends, and took the initiative to immediately make adjustments to have us all on the same floor; every personnel we came in contact with for the 5 days, was equally friendly and accommodating. The restaurant team accommodated dietary restrictions with care and without letting you feel it was an inconvenience All areas were clean, and the restaurant team ensured the busy breakfast buffet was appropriately maintained and serviced. While there were the same usual standard items at the buffet each day, the selection of hot local breakfast items changed daily. We had dinner there 2 nights, the menu was varied, with a combination of Panamanian and international dishes, and the meals were delicious. Every item ordered was extremely tasty and well presented, with filling portions Would not only return, but would absolutely recommend

This resort was a very nice one! I enjoyed my stay. Check in was easy as well as checking out. The room was clean I must say very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean as well that was neatly stocked with towels a blow dryer body was etc. I stayed on the 5th floor and the view was absolutely amazing especially at nights. This resort only offered breakfast only and I must say the breakfast was great. The resort was in walking distance of the mall so I went to and from whenever I felt like it. I mostly had dinner from the food court at the nearby mall. Tried the restaurant food once and didn’t like it. The presentation wasn’t good either (I assumed it’s because I ordered it to take back to my room) so I only had breakfast at the resort. The staff were nice and friendly. Majority of not all spoke English which was a plus for me. I would definitely recommend. My only issue is I wish they had some type of entertainment on property especially if you are traveling solo. But otherwise it was good 8/10👌🏽

From the moment we arrived, the check-in was quick and welcoming. The hotel is spotless and well-kept, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Special thanks to Carlos at the front desk, who not only made sure we had everything we needed but also gave us great tips on where to eat and what to do in the city. Our room was spacious and very clean, perfect to come back to after a day of exploring. We also enjoyed the pool area, which had nice city views and was great for relaxing in the afternoons. Breakfast was included every morning and had a good variety of options. We also ate at the hotel restaurant a couple of times and were pleasantly surprised—good food at fair prices. The restaurant staff really stood out for their excellent service and the way they looked after guests. The location is another big plus. It’s close to everything you’d want to see but not right in the middle of the crowded areas. A short 3–5 minute walk takes you to Multiplaza Mall with plenty of shops, restaurants, and even a supermarket. Getting around was easy and affordable with Uber, and there are also some nice local dining spots nearby. Overall, we had a great stay and are already planning to return to Panama—not just for the culture, but also for the warmth and hospitality of its people. Highly recommended!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was amazing - many choices and really good food. Location was convenient for everything we were doing while there and walkable to exceptional restaurants for dinner. We will stay here again, over any other hotel.

-Very clean, nice and modern hotel. Front desk staffs speak English, very polite, helpful and always available! -Room with two queen-beds is very comfortable with a lot of space, very nicely decorated with modern furnitures, big flat screen TV, coffee machine and safe. Bed, pillows and blankets are very comfortable, bathroom and shower are very nice. -Breakfast is really a plus with different varieties of fruits and vegetables, ham & salami, differet types of non-diery milk, bread (just wonder where the hotel gets such good bread since we just cannot find any bread elsewhere that is as good as hotel's). -Very nice roof top swimming pool, not big but it's quite nice to just relax! -Location is good even though hotel is not in the banking area but there are a lot of shops around (if you are looking for to-go SIM card or find not-so-expensive sportswear or sneakers etc... you are in the right area.) Metro is just 5mins walking distance with McDonald's, Superway, Wendy's etc... fast food joints nearby, Supermarket Rey is about 10mins walk.

There was a lot to like in this new hotel, first of all the attention to detail in the decoration, from floor to ceiling there is an abundance of good taste. We had a double room with very comfortable beds, the lights and power points well thought out, an Eamon chair by the window with an arching light that was great to flop into after a long day. Bathroom shower had lots of pressure and no waiting for hot water. The entire place was very clean. The staff were very helpful especially in the morning at the breakfast buffet. A great spread with cooked breakfast deli meats and cheeses, abundant fruit and a variety of breads and pastries. We also enjoyed the buffet lunch although I found it a bit pricey at $25pp but food was tasty, abundant and includes a soft drink.

The hotel and staff are very welcoming. Rooms are spacious, bathroom modern. All clean and comfortable. We loved a relaxed time at the pool with amazing view of the city. Breakfast was delicious and included a variety of choices. I liked the the displayed art. This hotel is wonderful and highly recommended.

We appreciate how close the hotel is to a metro station; 5 minute walk past some cute shops and restaurants. We had a business suite and it was fabulous. The rooftop pool is a true luxury that I enjoy very much. There’s lots of lounge chairs for sunning in between dips in the clean water. We had a light dinner in the restaurant where the food was excellent. The breakfast includes everything that you could want; sweet and savoury. The staff are professional and friendly.

Brand new hotel was immaculate and comfortable. Great central location. Very safe. Very comfortable bed. Great pillows. Breakfast was included and was fantastic. Great neighborhood. Easy walk to mini markets, restaurants, shopping. Very friendly and helpful staff. Thank you to the staff for a great stay.

We stayed at Hotel San Felipe for four nights and had a fantastic experience overall. The room was spacious, clean, and neatly maintained throughout the stay. I especially loved the balcony — it was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee. The bathroom was also spotless, featuring a large shower with consistently hot water and great water pressure. The bed was big and extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. The staff and cleaners were all very friendly and welcoming, which really added to the warm atmosphere of the place. Another highlight was the restaurant across the road, which is part of the hotel. It has a great rooftop area that we enjoyed in the evenings. The location is ideal — just a short walk to all the main restaurants and bars in Casco Viejo. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the heart of the action with comfort and great service.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone wanting to be centrally located. From the moment I checked in the staff were superb, being super friendly and welcoming at all times as well as engaging in good conversation and offering recommendations. The lobby is a nice space to relax in and escape the heat, with comfortable seating and some reading material on the country. There’s a small bar and also a great courtyard space outside with some cosy sofas. My room was on the first floor but had a brilliant balcony overlooking the street below. While not large enough to spend time sitting on, it gave a really nice perspective and made you feel like you were living as a local! The room itself was really spacious and modern. There were electric sockets next to both sides of the bed, plenty of storage, a decent sized TV with Netflix option, Nespresso machine, great lighting options and really effective air-conditioning. The mini bar was empty but otherwise it was a very comfortable space with huge bed. The bathroom continued the modern feel with everything spotlessly clean. The walk-in shower was huge and a delight to use with the toiletries and towels wonderful. There was a decent robe and slippers provided too. Next time I’m in the city and wanting to stay right in the heart of the Casco Viejo district I’ll be picking here and it’s highly recommended by me.

This newly renovated hotel is in the Lyon’s building, circa 1878. Originally constructed around an interior courtyard, the restoration preserves the origional French colonial architecture. Rooms are modern and tasteful. Overall, the restoration is first rate. The building across the street contains additional rooms, restaurant and rooftop bar/lounge with stunning views of Casco Viejo. The hotel is conveniently located in Casco Viejo and all points of interest in the old city are easily walkable. Many restaurants, bars, shops, and other luxury hotels are in the neighborhood. Streets are safe night and day. I would caution walking past Calle 10 at night towards the Santa Anna neighborhood - which is an impoverished slum. Walking through Santa Anna during the day seems safe. The nearest metro station is “Paza cinco de mayo” about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. It will require you however to walk through Santa Anna. My suggestions to improve the guest experience at the hotel are: 1. Ensure coffee pods and water are refreshed each day in the rooms 2. Ensure all towels are replaced Nevertheless, staff are helpful and charming. Definitely recommend the property.

The property was amazing! Very clean and always smelled amazing. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, really enjoyed speaking to them and getting to know Panamá and what it is like in Casco Viejo. The rooftop bar was very lovely, great view and the staff always greeted us with a smile. Our room was fantastic, very clean and the bed was comfortable and the balcony was a lovely area to sit and watch people go by. Thank you so much to the friendly and amazing staff for making our first visit to Panama incredible and for your recommendations.

My stay at the San Felipe was perfect. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the staff efficient, very friendly and helpful. And the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the old historic town of Panama City. And although there are a number of restaurants to choose from in the area, be sure to eat at least once at the hotel restaurant, Enigma, because the food was delicious! I highly recommend San Felipe Hotel. And they have other locations in other parts of Panama and Medellin, Colombia. I haven’t tried these, but I’ve no doubt they are equally 5 stars.

Reception staff friendly and professional. The serving staff at dinner and breakfast always pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, have a small fridge, TV, wardrobe, safe, iron and ironing board. A complimentary bottle of water. Beds and pillows very comfortable. The room is spacious with a comfy sitting area. The bathroom is spacious . Good soap, shampoo and conditioner. Good towels, good water pressure. Tissues. Lovely city views. The breakfast buffet that was included offers 3 fresh fruits, cereals, muesli, yogurt. There is salad, cold meats, 3 different cheeses, the hot meal changes, pancakes, chicken, eggs and a corn dish. You have bread to toast brown or white, rolls, croissants , cake, jelly. Tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, juice and water. It was sumptuous and delicious. The pool area is lovely with views of the city. Water is clean and nice seating area. There is a gym, and a laundry area to wash and dry your clothes with was a nice touch. I bought coins at reception. I stored my big suitcase at $10 a day when I travelled to Bocas del Torro, which was very handy. I would definitely stay here again when in Panama. The metro is down the road as is convenient especially in peak hour traffic. Uber was easy to use. It is central to everywhere.

The hotel is all what you expect for a quiet place to rest and recover energy for the exhausting days of long walks in the city. It is clean, comfortable, welcoming, the view from the rooms is beautiful and the terrace is very good as well. It offers such a nice view of the city and you can even see the Pandora tower from there. The pool is shallow, but is ok to refresh or just chill out at night. At first I doubted in making the reservation due to some bad comments about the breakfast, but I must say that it was actually very good and one of the things we enjoyed the most during our stay. There were plenty of vegetables, cheeses, fruit, cereal, plain Greek yogurt, pancakes, eggs, milk, juice, coffee, different kinds of breads and one option of protein different every day (sausage, chicken breast, chicken wings, beef). The workers were very polite at all times and the agency guy at the front desk helped us with a sim card and a tour to the San Blas Islands. The hotel location is great, 2 blocks from the bus and subway station, pretty close to restaurants, coffees, supermarkets where you can buy groceries for a good price and a pharmacy in front of the hotel. If I go back to Panama city I would definitely spend some more nights in this hotel.

The hotel was clean and the room was big and spacious. Front desk staff were helpful and polite. Major food establishments such as Wendy's, Dominoes pizza were at the bottom of the gap. Location is fantastic very close to the Metro.The area is very safe and no issues with Uber drivers finding the hotel. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. Kid friendly Hotel. I will definitely stay at Marinn again.

Perfect and secure location, friendly and extremely helpful and professional staff, ambiance of the hotel, proximity to all modes of transport and shopping, nice breakfast, and dinner offerings. Beds were extremely comfortable, and having 2 beds in the room was a masterstroke along with the sofa in addition to the general space in the room.

Great location and value. The service personnel were kind and professional. There are restaurants within walking distance - American and various cultural foods. The room was spacious and there was counter space in bathroom. We had a great city view & a small water view. The breakfast was good and they had a variety of options. The pool and top patio areas were really nice and they offer a fitness area.

I loved the buffet, and the staff in the buffet was very attentive. I felt like they made my stay feel like home because I saw familiar faces every morning that's a great feeling. I must point out James at the night lobby bar he is amazing he is full of energy and he is passionate about who he is and what he does not only that he serves he entertains he is genuinely!!!! It so heart felt he even was my food runner at in room dining. He is amazing professional and enthusiastic. The location was great and very convenient.

My second time here and it did not disappoint! Breakfast was exceptional, staff was very friendly- especially Eliezer, he was so accommodating, friendly and attentive. Rooms were beautiful, very clean and had such a breathtaking view.

Check in and out was extremely fast and easy. Room was spacious - desk and couch area was excellent, and bathroom was very large which is a plus. Large mirrors in bathroom and hallway. Nice shower with very hot water. Breakfast was fantastic with a cheese bar with 20 dishes, salad bar with 20 dishes, stations with American breakfast, local items like arepas, chips and dips, mixed rice, baked chicken, a daily soup with provisions and meat and a chinese station, as well as fruit station with about 6 options and a pastry table with about 10 options Elevators were very fast and there were a lot. Never had to wait longer than a few seconds. Gym area was decent, mats were appreciated. Lobby area is massive. 24 hour cafe is great Hotel location is superb Ubers were always closeby - never more than 2 mins away Hotel is just 20 min from the airport and 5 mins away from Multiplaza mall
