My wife and I stayed here and enjoyed it. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a good view looking east toward mountains. Some downsides: The pool area looks fabulous, but the pool hours were too short for us to use it. This place is tricky to get to. It's on a frontage road off of Puerto Rico Rt. 2, and we found it hard to find the turn--we wound up driving up to the mall area north of the hotel and turning around. I also misread the map and thought a beach was walkable from there. The lobby area is pretty small and unremarkable. But more good things: Parking was ample and easy. Everyone was very friendly. But I especially want to praise the hotel bartender Hector. He was one of the friendliest and most helpful bartenders/servers I have ever met. He made us feel at home, made us so comfortable we ordered dinner, and made great suggestions on where to go on our visit. He was remarkable! We'd be happy to stay there again.

This is a great hotel. The staff was exceptional. The hotel looks recently remolded. The room was squeaky clean and quiet. The pool area is beautiful and even the outdoor furniture is clean. The location was great for heading north or south or west. There are several great restaurants within 15 minutes and great beaches 1/2 hour away. The hotel pool area was lovely. The guest laundry was modern.

The property is very well maintained. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms and pool are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. If anyone gives any other review on here they are nit picking and wrong! It was a very pleasant stay and you will be very satisfied.

Room very clean, the very clean with warm water perfect, the breakfast was great, the staff perfect.

Home away from home everyone from the front desk to housekeeping to the casino staff especially the cafeteria staff were all very friendly. The hotel was maintained cleaned at all times. Security were always checking the hotel surrounding, the laundry room ( washer and dryer) were accessible and in good condition. The food was delicious, housekeeping staff was friendly front desk always with a smile. I felt right at home.

Very spacious, clean, good facilities and friendly staff. Kids loved the large jacuzzi and we loved the abundant of beach sun-beds.

Had a fabulous stay at this hotel. Restaurants, shopping, spa, pool/pool bar, jacuzzi. Just wonderful time!

Everything was nice...staff and facility. My only complaint is that the outdoor jacuzzi was way too cold.

We had a fabulous time celebrating our anniversary! Highly recommend it and would definitely come back. Plenty of beautiful beach to stroll and the water is perfect for refreshing swim. The resort has it all, huge pool with up pool bar, a big jacuzzi that is truly hot, delicious food and drinks, etc. Easy Uber rides to/from Old San Juan.

Great stay. Fast and easy check-in and check-out. Very clean and well kept hotel. Rooms were clean and a well kept. Several Restaurants (including Ruth Chris. Loved that) and bars on-site had breakfast and lunch/dinner options. Gym was nice and clean. Hotel located near restaurants and convenient stores (walking distance/across the street). Swim up bar and restaurant was relaxing. 5 min drive from airport depending on traffic. Offered valet for similar price to public parking so that was convenient. Staff was very nice, helpful, and courteous. Definitely recommend the stay here!!~

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Resort & Casino for 6 nights. We have amazing memories from our time there! The room was fairly spacious, view was good of the bay. Room was quiet at night. Pillows were not comfortable but that could just be a preference thing. Pool area was wonderful!!! Christian and Marbin were our bartenders and they were fabulous! By day two they knew who we were and would have our drinks waiting for us by the time we got up to the bar area! Plenty of shade and sun areas on the pool level. Concierge was very helpful when we needed them. We loved the free shuttle to Old San Juan and used that service occasionally. We used the Coffee shop a few times and the options were good. We didn’t like Choices restaurant. The food was over priced for the breakfast we got. My eggs were rubber, I asked for over medium eggs. I couldn’t even cut them! Our event was held on the second floor and we used many of the rooms there, it was beautiful and the food was amazing every day for our event. Staff at the entire resort was the best we have seen while traveling! If we ever get back to PR we will stay here again.

Amazing Stay at Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino! Our family spent three wonderful days at the Sheraton Convention Center, and it was an unforgettable experience! The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotless, with stunning city views. The infinity pool was a perfect spot to relax, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. We loved dining at Metropol, enjoying authentic Puerto Rican flavors, and the casino added extra fun to our stay. The location was perfect, just minutes from Old San Juan and top attractions. If you’re looking for comfort, luxury, and top-notch service, this is the place to stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!

First off, this is now a Marriott property. Second, I’m glad I ignored the reviews. I was really expecting a terrible experience. We booked this at the last minute because we just wanted to go some place warm. Being the day before New Year’s Eve, it was hard to find flights and/or hotels to any Caribbean island, so we booked the first available and this was it. The hotel is very large with a small/medium size casino. For gamblers, there are live dealers as well as lots. It’s in a busy area with lots of hotels nearby, but you don’t get a resort feel at all since there’s no beach nearby. They have a nice size infinity pool and lounge area with bar. There was some construction going on in what looked like a hot tub or swim up pool area. No baby pool but there was a shallower end. The pool overlooks a T-Mobile complex with restaurants and a cinema. They had it set up for NYE and we had a fabulous view of the festivities below and the fireworks display. There’s a coffee shop and a few restaurants/bar. They offer a shuttle to beach and Old Sa Juan but it want running on schedule so we just uses Uber or taxis. Service was fine. All in all, a nice hotel if you’re looking for cleanliness, safety. Nothing fancy.

I had a great time at this hotel. I went with a group of friends and Yaniris and Eddie at the Front Desk were amazing with us! They kindly accommodate us to be on the same floor, and gave us a late check out since we had a late flight that day. The rooms are very comfortable, and the AC was so silent that I though it wasn't working (but it was!), what a pleasure to sleep without the noise of the AC. The pool is great, it has an amazing view and live music on Sunday. The food at the Pool bar was great. I would only say that they need more bellman staff. I think I only saw one per shift. The Front Desk team was very helpful with the luggage but that delays their own tasks. Happy to come back!

This hotel is centrally located in the T-Mobile Center near Condado Area. You can go walking to restaurants and areas of entertainment of the center. The room was beautiful and comfortable with beautiful sight of the Center's Fountain. The restaurant offer only a buffet breakfast, $38/person plus tax, and a menu; the service as a whole was excellent. They have excellent WiFi signal. You have to pay for the parking.

Hyatt House was a great place to stay, and the shuttle service was incredibly helpful - we likely wouldn’t have stopped at the beach that the shuttle takes you to otherwise (and it was one of the best beaches we went to during our stay), and the transport to Old San Juan was perfect for us. We found it to be very timely unlike other reviews here (take cash out for tips)! The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean. Room service attendant Martha gave amazing recommendations too! Breakfast was included and had good offerings, the pool area was nice (serene and clean), and the staff was very helpful; they were willing to hold our luggage and even mail out our postcards! Additionally, this was a very quick and affordable uber away from the airport.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt House Puerto Rico, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the fantastic staff. Their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay made all the difference. One particular highlight of my visit was the help I received from Gustave. Not only was he exceptionally accommodating, but he also went out of his way to assist me in finding a Spain song that I had been searching for. His dedication and enthusiasm made my stay at the Hyatt House even more enjoyable. The Hyatt House Puerto Rico was absolutely amazing! The amenities were top-notch, and the surroundings were so beautiful. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Super clean! Location is awesome. Shuttle bus too! Room was comfortable. Bed & sofabed were comfortable. Workout room and business center were great. Pool was beautiful and clean and landscaping around was beautifully done. There is an outside room off dining area with a rainfall that is gorgeous. The lobby is simple yet beautifully decorated and the bar and service is wonderful. Wifi never failed us! ALL staff is helpful, ready to give suggestions and so polite & friendly!

Excellent location, excellent food and clean rooms and common area. Spacious room. Beautiful views and you have free shuttle for the all city , t mobile district and escambron beach. And in the escambron beach you have the option for take a trip in scooter for the old city and catch the amazing views from de Atlantic Ocean.

Amazing room, comfortable, clean, quiet. It was on a second floor, so it didn't have a lot of view but it did have nice natural light. Good breakfast in the morning with an omelet station to get them fresh in the moment :D

We stayed at this hotel while our daughter was at a convention across the street. We could walk to the convention center in about 5 minutes. The hotel had a convenient shuttle to the beach & to Old Town Puerto Rico. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked like a fun area, especially for kids. The buffet breakfast was included, but not that great (scrambled eggs, ham, cereal, toast, some fruit, juice & coffee). The room was very clean & comfortable. The convention center area had lots of restaurants & was really alive with live music, etc on Friday & Saturday nights.

The property is beautiful, modern, and very well kept. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the overall vibe is relaxed yet professional. I loved how convenient the location is everything is close by, making it easy to get around San Juan. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was solid. I’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel room was clean. Beds were very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. They have their own shuttle service that takes you to the nearby beach, the mobile district which has the Urban Toro Verde (great for kids), and to old San Juan. Breakfast was good and their Lunch/Dinner menu was decent. The pool was nice for the kids, especially with the pirate slide and bucket dump. That was a huge plus for my kids. You need card access to get to the pool, laundry, gym, and to use the elevator to get to rooms. Always a good security feature. As soon as we opened our room curtains we had a beautiful view of the Bay area. That made our mornings even better! Would stay again at this location.

This place is amazing. I loved everything about it. Good variety of Breakfast. The staff very helpful, professional and fast. The pool is beautiful, gym is great. Olive Garden right around the corner. T mobile District has everything food games etc, perfect for the family. The location is perfect.

The property was great very clean room is very comfortable and clean staff. They were amazing very nice people. The bar on site bar food was good also shuttle, which was a real plus.

Desde que entramos fueron super servicial. Lo unico que deben mejorar es la limpieza del piso de la picina el agua clara pero el fondo con suciedad en hora de la mañana al igual que el jacuzzi necesitaba limpieza full sus adoquines con mucha grasa corporal. Otro punto los empleados de limpieza de las habitaciones deben ir todos los dias para zafacones y toallas. Todo lo demas estuvo fantastico sus empleados todos exelente y muy cortes. Lo recomiendo 100%

I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Juan Hotel & Casino, and I must say, it was a lovely experience overall. The hotel was impeccably clean and provided a comfortable environment that made me feel right at home. The pool area was a standout feature, with its beautiful design and inviting atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi, which was a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. Additionally, the beach area nearby was wonderful, offering a picturesque setting to soak up the sun. As a suggestion, I think having a bar-truck at the beach could enhance the experience even more, providing guests with easy access to refreshments while enjoying the sun and beach. One aspect that could be improved is the parking situation; I believe it would be beneficial if parking were included in the price of the stay, as it can add to the overall cost. The spa also needs some enhancements to reach its full potential, as the services offered could be more varied and refined. Another area for improvement is breakfast; while there were options available, the quality could use a boost to match the overall standard of the hotel. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was quite good, thanks largely to the exceptional customer service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making my stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend staying here for a clean, comfortable getaway with beautiful amenities and a welcoming atmosphere.

Embassy Hilton is by far one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. They truly accommodated all of my needs without hesitation. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. I especially appreciated the attention to detail—from the fresh linens to the well-stocked amenities. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment of my stay. Whether it was dining, room service, or any special request, everything was handled with care and efficiency. I honestly can’t think of a single thing to complain about. I don’t even know where to start, first I arrived waaay before my check in time but they offer pre check that’s when I know I’m gonna love my stay. All the staff from the valet, front desk to housekeeping absolutely amazing. The breakfast in the mornings amazing, the food at both restaurants AMAZING and very affordable, the happy hour they offer AMAZING and very thoughtful, the beach being 5 minutes away BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING. Also the hotel is very very CLEAN. All I know I will be back. Thank you for accommodating me

Everything was perfect.Location restaurant has amazing food. You get two free alcoholic beverages each day you are there. Free breakfast no continental regular breakfast. Hotel super clean. On point comfy bed room excellent. I won't at the casino 160.00 on the slot penny machine. Food at the Cuevas restaurant is so, so good. Best food ever. I will be staying again especially since I am a travel agent.

Beautiful view and spacious room. Nice amenities. Loved the pools, jacuzzi and beach access. Food and service was great. Restaurant options were good: enjoyed drinks at the Lobby Bar and Serafina, breakfast at The Loft, coffee at Aroma, and lunch and late night snacks at Solera.

Location: this is a prime location, central to a lot of things happening in the area. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk to the downtown area or a $5-$10 Uber ride. The bars and restaurants are all reasonably walkable. The resort is right on the beach and it’s gorgeous. Food: food on the resort felt pretty average and was very experience especially for what you were getting. Service with the food was also somewhat rude so wasn’t the greatest experience. Amenities: they have so many amazing pools. We really enjoyed their 4 ft infinity pool overlooking the beach. It was great to lounge around in and bar service was fast and friendly. They have beautiful spa services with a gorgeous view of the ocean and it was a great experience. They also have a nightclub on site and it looked to be a really fun scene. We also really enjoyed the onsite casino. They had some reasonable priced tables and they also gave us a voucher so we were able to play one hand on the casino. They don’t around often to take your orders though so that was a bit frustrating. Room: We had a beautiful room. Very spacious with a balcony. The balcony was overlooking the ocean so we could sleep to the sounds of the waves. We had 2 queen beds and they were nice and comfortable. The room was also spacious. Had plenty of space for all 3 of us. They gave us a nice sized closet that easily stored all 3 guests clothes. The bathroom was spacious and had nice hot water. The shower pressure wasn’t the best.

The resort location is ideal, right in the middle of the Condado district of San Juan, which offers lots of shopping and restaurant options. The resort also has a significant amount of beachfront, which provides the best of both worlds (beach and city). The resort is also a short 10-minute car ride to Old San Juan. The staff were pleasant, professional, and helpful, and addressed our questions and requests quickly and efficiently. We requested extra pillows and blankets, which were brought to our room within 5 minutes of the request. The food at the resort was quite good compared to other resorts we have stayed with, and as a result, we ate lunch beachside or poolside each day we were there. We stayed in an ocean-view suite, which was clean and spacious. The bed and bedding provided were very comfortable. We also paid in advance for the breakfast buffet, which was excellent, providing lots of choices, and the food delicious and well presented.

The views of the beach, the pools were immaculate, the staff was very helpful and professional. The food at all restaurants and coffee shop was delicious. Yoga on the beach was fun and very relaxing. This resort is amazing 😊

I loved the room I was in . White clean beautiful design . Wall closet , safe , fridge, espresso machine. Open window doors for a full ocean view. Clean sand beach and pool area . No smell of vapes or cigarettes, mold or urine. No biting bugs or insects. Casino was a good activity on rainy nights. Liked the key wrist band to open doors. Live bands on Sunday had the house dancing. Everyone was so helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it was referred to me. Great location and amenities. Wish there were more at hotel games and pool activities to get first to mingle. We had an early check in from an early flight arrival. We ended up falling asleep on the deck chairs lounges. Wish they could’ve put us in a temp room to nap and shower until the room was ready. basically spent the day waiting around tired and then they forgot to call us when the room was ready over an hour until I went back to the desk to nag them. Traveling with a teenager so it made it uncomfortable. Thank you to the valet and front desk for locating my bags that were left behind in the taxi. Amazingly the taxi man returned it all the way back to the airport. Great job guys. Very honest and professional. My daughter thanks you tremendously so her vacation didn’t end on a bad note. Thank you to the concierge man for finding me tours and activities after being told they were all booked up. Of course only the most expensive ones were available. Tours wellorganizedwith transportation

Traveled from California and spent 4 nights at the San Juan Aloft. My husband and I booked two rooms and stayed with our 4 young teenagers. Such an incredible experience! Cannot say enough good things about the staff and the hospitality provided. Everyone from the front desk staff, to the bartenders, and especially the housekeeping crew… they were SO professional, helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. Special shout out to the housekeeper JILL … She was so sweet and friendly, and always made me smile. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and thankfully super convenient to the convention center. The district was a blast and we felt perfectly safe letting the kids cruise around and check out all the fun things to do there, while hubby and I gambled at the fun casino next door. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!!

I stayed during the week and had a great experience Good service, convenient location close to many restaurants and very walkable area. They have a shuttle to the beach and Old San Juan Complimentary laundromat and food and snacks for a fee Don’t know how loud it could be on weekends as it seems like it be a place to safely hang out Concert hall, live stage, restaurants, IMAX, and pubs. The Sheraton has a great spa where you can make a booking even if you are not a guest. Rental car near if you want to go outside the San Juan area. My view was great at night. The outside of the Convention Center is undergoing maintenance and it was not a pretty sight (noise was not a problem) during the day Overall clean, comfortable and safe.

It is the perfect place to stay for an affordable price when you plan to visit the Coca-Cola Music Hall for a concert. The rooms are nice, especially the corner and suite ones, with a nice view of San Juan or the inside of the complex. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is close to various restaurants and events and has free parking. The Hotel Bar and restaurant offer great meals and drinks; breakfast is very tasty and good. Perfect for a weekend concert escape.

Five of us stayed at this hotel, some for two night,s some for three. Got quiet rooms, they were spotlessly clean, really comfortable beds and spacious rooms . Front of house were first class and very helpful. We used the hotel shuttle to the old city and it was very convenient. Food at hotel was very tasty.

Amazing stay. The Hotel is well maintained and beautiful. Rooms were clean and neat. The pool is on the small side but it very nice on the roof top and the sunset was just perfect. We walked next door to Distrito T- Mobile had a nice dinner. We had no noise issues and our room overlooked Distrito T- Mobile. The Staff were all amazing. Shout out to Kenneth and Julie who checked me in and checked me out, so sweet and informative. Will definitely sty here again.

The property was gorgeous and well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a nice selection of dining options on the property (they were expensive though). Pool side bar and food service was fantastic. We were given the option of locking in an upgrade from the hotel before we arrived- if the upgrade was available when we checked in we had to exercise the upgrade, and we did. We upgraded to a junior suite on the ground floor with a pool view. The room size was spacious. The rooms were clean and well maintained- we did notice a musty smell when visiting rooms on higher floors (we had family staying at the same time as us) not sure if that is typical? We also elected to pay for the breakfast - it may seem like an expensive upgrade but holy cow was it worth it. The absolute best breakfast I’ve ever had at a resort. Incredible options, fresh juices and pastries. Definitely include the breakfast, you won’t be disappointed. The rest of the hotel was great, well stocked gift shop in case you forgot anything. The beach was beautiful and cleaned every morning. The casino was fun. If you have kids, the hotel staff organized activities pool side intermittently that our daughter loved. The hotel itself is perfectly located for activities- short drive to the kiosks for great food, short drive to Fajardo (about 30 min) minutes to the rain forest.

The decor of the room was very calming and cozy. The bathroom was neat and spacious. The bed was firm and comfortable. There was a coffee maker and electric tea kettle, coffee, tea and cocoa, which we did use each day, as well as a nice balcony to relax on and enjoy your drink. The staff throughout the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurants was good, also. Especially the waffles in the breakfast buffet. (Breakfast is my favorite meal.) The beach was very nice, not all rocky or hard to walk on. And the water at the beach was warm, with nice low waves. It was very easy to take a shuttle to visit other buildings/areas on the property. Overall, our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable!

Very beautiful and spacious renovated room. Great coffee and tea selection in room. Plenty of pool space, easy to get in access, luxurious cabanas and beach access with planty of showers to wash off sand. Very relaxing time. Can't wait to revisit when remodeling of lobby is over. Also many eating options. Had great dinner and drinks at IGUANAS. Very friendly and helpful staff.

every morning I woke up to a beach sunrise it was gorgeous and the room was spacious and clean. the staff was amazing from beginning to end. the food was amazing the drinks were amazing. the pools were empty and warm and the bar was 1 minute walking distance from the pool and the beach. I couldn’t imagine a better place to be.

The staff is very nice and professional, the room is clean, spacious and refreshed daily. All pools are nice and clean, the beach is very private large clean with soft sand. The breakfast although a bit pricey is exceptional. The food on site is ok.

The views and the landscape were spectacular! It is located on the side of a cliff with the ocean view on one side and the beautiful golf course on the other. PR, in general, is not known for great customer service, but the staff here was great! Eveeyone was attentive and friendly, even the grounds keepers and maintenance personnel. If i am not mistaken, this is an independently locally owned hotel, which makes the service level even more impressive. There are ample swimming pools and each one more beautiful than the last and all overlooking the ocean. Pool tables, tennis, table tennis, and boat trips to "Palamino" their private island was a fun 15-20 minute ride. The island was beautiful and serene. There are plenty of free loungers with umbrellas and you can rent jetskis .There is also a restaurant and a convenient store, oh! And clean rest rooms! At the hotel, there's a buffet or a la carte breakfast at "Ventanas"and there were several other restaurants on sight.We ate at the buffet daily and at the Mexican and the poolside restaurant a few times. The food and service were good. I had been here before years ago when it was Wyndham and liked it then....I love it now!

Rooms spacious and clean. The view from our room was incredibly beautiful. Lots of food options/ restaurants. Boat to Palominos beach was wonderful and fun! Coqui water park was amazing! Loved the lazy river and water slides. Fun atmosphere at night with live music and lots of restaurants/bars open every night until 11pm.

Food was good at each location. Acai bowl place was delicious, and their lattes are so smooth. The Palomino Island smoothie bar had delicious options that I am still dreaming of recreating at home. Highly recommend the little taco bar, the whole family enjoyed their food. Rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. Our bed was made every morning and the towels were replaced. Pools were clean. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

From the moment we arrived, the Front Desk team was incredible! A special shoutout to TIARA, who is absolutely the best — kind, attentive, and made the check-in and check-out process effortless. She welcomed us with such genuine warmth that it instantly set the tone for our stay. At the Coqui Water Park, the experience was just as amazing! YAHAIRA is a total sweetheart — friendly, attentive, and always making sure everyone’s having a great time. And ELI, JEAN, and GIAN were fantastic too — always smiling, helpful, and full of positive energy. The entire team truly went above and beyond for us and our kids. Their kindness and enthusiasm make a huge difference in the guest experience. They’re a big reason why staying at El Conquistador feels so special!

The last time I stayed here was 10years ago. Since then major renovations have been made and is still in process. Right on the beach, huge pool, nice jacuzzi, friendly staff, and nice night life. Minutes away walking to local restaurants, grocery stores, and some commercial fast food chains.

I’ve now stayed several times at this hotel—both for business and for pleasure. In addition to being ~5 minutes from the airport, the location is a great home base to get to most places in the island. The restaurants and commons areas are updated and the entire property is right on the water. The pool is open 24/7 and has a heated smaller pool plus jacuzzi. One of the most impressive things about my stays has been the attention provided by the hotel’s Guest Services Director, Orlando Hernandez. Orlando is literally all over the hotel making sure guests are happy and things are running smoothly. He was interactive with my kids which they appreciated. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Perfect location on a quiet beach with lots of palm trees and an excellent view from our balcony. I loved the pool area which was like a garden, 2 pools, a hot tub, and a huge hot tub pool. There were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas there and on the beach for no extra fee. The sofa lounge area was relaxing with beach views. Eva was a wonderful waitress that always treated us like a guest in her home. Very attentive. Fernando was always happy and eager to chat or to help make sure we had everything we could want at the pool and beach area. The beach was a safe place to walk. No vendors 😀. Police on ATVs patrolled regularly. The public beach next door was so clean, so quiet, and had a little cocktail kiosk. I enjoyed picking up unusual shells, especially the pink clam shells. There were several restaurants, grocery store, and a mall within walking distance. We walked to dinner at Plato's and Metropol. These had simple menus of typical local food.

This is our second stay here, so we knew exactly what it was like, and wanted to come back. It is excellent for the pool with small kids (we have a 4 year old) and the beach area. Also, there is a pool with a bar which looks like a lot of fun, but we didn't use. The beach is gorgeous and very close--although it's a public beach with no lifeguard, so know that. The sand was delightful, and the water was so beautiful and warm! The rooms and common areas are simple and stylish and clean. There were renovations underway, but it didn't hamper our experience at all. The main pool area was our daughter's favorite, and she was able to use her floatie and just float around and play. Perfection! The only down side is that the hotel itself not that close to anything else, so there are limited dining options. However, the hotel's dining options are good, just limited and a bit pricey. There is a supermarket about a 20 minute walk away so we didn't have to eat out every single meal. The surrounding area is just okay. You need to get a car to go to some of the more fun parts of San Juan or Condado or the nearby areas. Staff was mixed--some very attentive, some aggressively attentive, some could seem like they care less. That's fine. But we had everything we needed taken care of. In general, it's a wonderful hotel with comfortable accommodations and beautiful, relaxing pool/beach area.

Family spring break trip. Room was as pictured-clean and cozy. Does need to be updated but we were happy. View was nice. Food was good just expensive. Didn’t get to spend time in casino but it seemed nice. Pool area and bar was great! Access to beach is unmatched. Beware there is a constant rip current and you need to be very safe-they have signs and warnings everywhere. There was an amazing beach about a 10 minute drive from hotel that was amazing and safe for the kids to play in the water. Only complaint was that we stayed for 4 nights and it wasn’t until the 3rd night that anyone actuallly came to clean our room. I did it myself all the other time. Will stay here again.

It was clean, close to shops, pharmacies, good food and bars, steps away from the beach. The pool and jacuzzi water were clean and warm. The staff was very attentive, i ordered extra towels and they immediately came to my room and also brought coffee pods. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was great & the services of the hotel met my needs perfectly. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also liked the handy convenience store within the hotel & nearby, and the included breakfast. The pool was great to do some evening swimming/ workout followed by relaxing in the jacuzzi.

The holiday inn was perfect! It was a walk away from the beach , they have a great beach club area for the hotel right by condado beach . Free continental breakfast each day and an amazing cloud of a bed to jump into after an eventful day! I would honestly come back again, the staff was so helpful and nice! The cleaning ladies were so nice and always super friendly when we needed something. Pricing was great for all they offered along with pool area and a small convenient store inside for basics and snacks. Had an amazing time and we shall be back !

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Condado. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast—it was fresh, tasty, and the area was kept very clean and organized. The location is also a big plus, with easy access to the beach club and nearby restaurants and shops. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Juan.

The hotel was incredibly well maintained. It was recently renovated, so it looked nice. The rooms were exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds, pillows, and blankets—something I don’t say a lot about hotel beds and bedding. Staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. Breakfast offered many options and was tasty. Location was close to everything in Condado. The hotel offered free beach chairs and umbrellas within a short walk. I would absolutely stay again.

I love Dorado! It’s my 4th visit, and it never disappoints. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are immaculate, the plunge pool jacuzzi is amazing, and the omakase on the beach might be the best part!

We did a quick trip from westchester Airport. We stayed 3 nights but really had 4 full days of fun. Our 2 kids are 4 and 6. This place is great for kids. Not just the Ritz itself but the Dorado Beach property you have access too is awesome. There is an awesome bike path we rode every day ( I pulled my kids behind me). We stopped at a huge play ground with a kids pool that had a fun water slide. On Saturday and Sunday there is a legit water park that's basically private. My kids probably did the 2 huge water slides 30 times. The staff was so sweet to my children and us. They give out Popsicles on arrival, my two kids asked for 4 pops a day and they always were given one. The beach is perfect and safe for little kids, the beach staff put a umbrella on the wet sand so my kids could play in the shade. We watched them while sipping delicious mojitos. Our day always ended in our plunge pool in the room and then dinner on property which was delicious. Look its the most expensive per night we have ever spent for a non suite room. That being said I would go back. You get what you pay for. This was true a luxury family vacation.

We have traveled all over the Caribbean and this hotel is at the top of the list. Stayed in room 214 and the beach was within feet of our back door. Staff upgraded us to the lower level unit which has a pool. Great pool in the unit with a bench that you could sit in. The resort has a very high staff-to-guest ratio and they are on top of things. Pool staff manager was extremely hard working and took time to chat which we appreciated. We enjoyed the restaurants but kept going back to Positivo. Incredible view at sunset and open to the beach. The bar staff was the best. Special thanks to Karla (with a K), Walter, and Chuckie (AKA Angel). We appreciate you. They kept us coming back and the bill upon checkout reflected it. Scheduled the Omakase Dinner with Sergio. He delivered. Incredible experience. Ride the bikes through the neighborhoods and around the golf course. Explore what the community has to offer. TPC golf course on site and the food at the clubhouse was very good. Beautiful course and nice clubhouse.

We had an excellent stay during our end of summer vacation at Dorado Beach Resort. The resort grounds are truly amazing. You are right on a beautiful beach with adjacent golf course. There are trails available for cycling and walking that include looking at artwork that's presented outdoors. There is also a small water park that is associated with the resort and was open on the weekend. Our girla loved the water park! The food available at the resort restaurants was amazing though a bit pricey. I had a chance to enjoy the spa, which was also beautiful and relaxing. We will definitely return to Dorado Beach.

Loved the hotel. Everyone there was great. Very helpful if needed. Good location. You share a beach with a public but with hotel security on the hotels side. Nice pools with bar. Hottub also.

Let me start off by saying the reviews are false or some people must have been really having a bad day but I’ll make it quick and truthful for you !! Book asap we booked this hotel through Expedia with a package deal then we went and was reading the reviews and got worried then went to TikTok and saw some good reviews so we just took the chance and I’m glad we did . The hotel is beautiful they basically have half of the land in the area they are located in very big hotel wonderful room with balcony and wonderful ocean view !! Clean room AC was perfect the walls are sound proof . They have 3 big pools one with a bar In it also w/ food && Jacuzzi ! && let’s not forget they also have a private beach with chairs and umbrellas included with the stay . They have a lot of lounge areas inside and outside very family and kid friendly . We checked in after 4 the check in took no more then 10 mins . They have a parking garage self parking $23 a day I don’t know how much was the valet . The hotel is located in a good area you can walk to San Juan and all the popular restaurants . PSA there is a resort fee of $35 a day when you check out and a deposit of $350 in case of damage to room but will be refunded soon as you check out . This is our second time visiting San Juan and we will book this hotel again . && the reviews about the elevator they have 3 other ones that work one by the pool one in the middle and a service one in the back and also a escalator .

From start to finish, I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hilton Condado Plaza in San Juan. It’s honestly the best hotel experience I’ve had so far. Although our room wasn’t ready upon arrival, we didn’t mind at all—we were able to enjoy the beautiful pool and beach while we waited. The atmosphere was relaxing and gave us the perfect start to our vacation. A special shoutout to the charming doorman, Israel, who greeted me and my friends every single day with such warmth and kindness. He truly made us feel welcome. Raul at the front desk also made check-in a breeze—he was professional, friendly, and very helpful. The staff throughout the hotel were lovely. Our room was clean, the bathroom was spacious, and the balcony view was to die for! The pool and beach area were definitely the highlight, especially the bar right inside the pool—such a fun touch that made our stay feel extra luxurious. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Puerto Rico. Thank you, Hilton Condado Plaza, for such a memorable experience!

Love this hotel — location, rooms, and staff are first rate!!!! Beach and Pool need attention! Location — This Hilton is so walkable! If you are going to dinner in Condado, doesn’t get any better. If you are heading to Old San Juan, you are a short Uber ride away and we even walked it TWICE! The views from the room are exquisite! Do yourself a favor and get the ocean front! Rooms — if you like a room that is large and bright, with an amazing view of the ocean and all the amenities, this is it!!! Large TV, blackout curtains, refrigerator and coffee maker! The shower was hot and strong! The bed was so comfy! The balcony was so relaxing. I loved the room! And it was cleaned daily by the best housekeeping staff!!! Staff — from check in to checkout the staff exceeds all expectations. I had a little problem, they fixed it immediately! Kind and respectful and everyone says Buenas Dias! Also they know Condado and their recommendations can be trusted! The thing I didn’t love was the pool and beach. Pool needs a major upgrade and that little beach isn’t clean. But Condado is lovely overall and San Juan is fabulous!!!

Where to begin. From the moment I arrived it felt like I was a VIP, and I wasn't! The level of service I received throughout the hotel would have made a casual observer think I had been there many times before. Kenneth at the front desk did an amazing job making me feel welcome and gave me a room with a fantastic view. Angel, the Bellman, was kind and helpful with all the luggage I brought and I was very thankful for him! Orlando, at the breakfast restaurant, remembered my name when he saw me outside of the restaurant and I will never forget his smile and warmth. The Concierge, Natalia, was informative and helped me with a question about dinner providing timely updates and offering great alternatives. Francisca, at the Front Desk, checked me out and was absolutely delightful. And then there is Gloria, the Room Attendant, on the 8th floor. Gloria took such good care of me and my room - she made me feel like I was part of her family. I came to look forward to seeing her each morning on my way out to breakfast as she started my day with an unforgettable smile! If you are looking for a relaxing getaway at a resort with a great location for peace and quiet, yet close enough to Old San Juan or tourist destination, Fairmont El San Juan Hotel is the place to stay. I loved this hotel, cherished my stay, and look forward to crossing paths with all of these wonderful people in my future stays!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this resort. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check into our room early and received a lot of helpful information from Francisco, the concierge. We ate in 3 of the resort's restaurants, the food and service was excellent. We also had coffee and food from The Bistro where the food and service were excellent. We loved being able to walk to the beach right from the hotel and find chairs and umbrellas along with sunscreen and sunburn relief aloe. The pools were clean, warm and very relaxing. Our room was large and well appointed. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We loved everything about our stay. The only thing I would suggest would be to have more food options among the restaurants. We would love to return some day.

The resort is beautiful and the restaurants are wonderful! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beach and pools are pristine and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! The beach and pool staff anticipated our every need and Jaun was particularly helpful and attentive! I accidentally left my fan outside and Kenneth, at the front desk, helped me retrieve it from their lost and found and when I mentioned it was my birthday trip, he had a bottle of champagne, a beautiful slice of cake and a gorgeous fresh fruit plate waiting in our room for us! Ww can't wait to come back!

The property is amazing! Very clean, the staff is friendly and the location is great very close to the airport food and shopping. The rooms are pictured, spacious and clean. Also liked the free water bottle. The hotel has great live entertainment and the lobby is wonderful. Able to sit in the lobby people watch, enjoy conversations, billiards, or have cocktails at the 3 bars in the lobby the ambience was fantastic. The hotel has fantastic amenities which include many food restaurants, a casino, a club and more. There is plenty to do here! Not to mention it’s a beachfront hotel with access to water activities like jet ski, parasailing, banana boat rides and more! Hotel can be for families or couple getaway.

We just returned from a fantastic week (March 6-13, 2025) at the beautiful El San Juan Hotel, and we can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was! From the moment we arrived, every single staff member was incredibly kind and welcoming. The bartenders were friendly and engaging, the pool staff went above and beyond to ensure guests were comfortable, and our room was cleaned promptly and meticulously each day. One of the biggest highlights for us was the ample seating at the pool—something we’ve struggled with at other resorts. It was such a relief to be able to relax and enjoy the surroundings without the stress of securing a spot at the pool or beach. The entire vibe of the hotel is just amazing, from the beautiful atmosphere to the perfectly curated music playing by the pool. Evenings at El San Juan Hotel were just as special. The historic bar transports you to another era with live entertainment and an energetic yet elegant ambiance. The casino was the perfect size for us—not too overwhelming but still offering plenty of fun. We travel often, and this was our third trip to Puerto Rico in the last 10 years, but by far the best experience we’ve had. At checkout, we were invited to become Fairmont members, and we immediately said yes—we can’t wait to stay updated on special events and return next year!
