The location is beautiful - gateway to the Dolomites. I enjoyed the spa facilities, particularly the sky pool, which has wonderful views. The welcome on my arrival was superb, and service was equally lovely throughout. Fantastic room with a super view and a comfy bed. Great dinner and breakfast - delicious food and lots of choice.

It’s in a spectacular setting. The hotel is newly renovated and stylish. The spa has exceptional facilities. The dining room staff were highly professional and friendly.

Very cosy and beautiful hotel, with family touch which you can really feel in a lot of details. The food was really good with a la carte dinner choices, each dish was delicious. Staff was very friendly Spa area was nice The view from the room was wonderful Playroom for kids next to the dining area saved our meals.

The hotel made the trip ever worthwhile. Magnificent views all around, first time in Italy with my brother. The hotel was conveniently located next to a bus stop and was easy to get to. Access to the dolomites was only a bus journey away too. The breakfast and dinner service were Superb, staff are very hard working and very friendly. I am currently trying to get some gains and the gym was very good and I used it through the entirety of the stay. My overall experience was great and I would rate the hotel at 11/10. Almost forgot it's a hotel with a spa so I suppose 12/10. Hope this is helps

This is an outstanding family run resort that has been in the family for over fifty years. The spa is exquisite and affordable. The breakfast buffet hosted by the owner is excellent. This is centrally located near Santa Cristina with a breathtaking view of Cristallo from the hotel (I recommend a mountain view room -- which happily is also affordable). This was my third time to St Ulrich/Santa Cristina and I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was extraordinary. It is beautyfully located near a nice farm in the fields. You have a beautyful view over the dolomit mountains and very nice walking tracks through forests very close by. The staff was very friendly. The design of the hotel is very modern but also very cosy. Everything is exceptionally clean and and the details make you feel very comfortable. The breakfast is just delicious with lots of fresh fruit and berries and everything you wish for! The whirlpool in the room was a treat and the room itself very spacious and well equiped. The spa has nice views over the alps. There is even a meditation room with yoga equipment.

Perfection! Everything is beyond expectations. You will never regret choosing this hotel. It is placed in the middle of the woods, where silence is only disturbed by birds. High quality is standard for every little corner, since you enter it smells amazing, very clean and cozy. Our room had an amazing view towards the mountains. The pillows were from the clouds. Breakfast was delicious with everything you could ever dream for, fresh and heavenly taste. Staff was so kind and warm and discreet. The pool area is a dream, the water perfectly warm and clean. Hot tub, lounge area, meditation corner, saunas, all from heaven. I had the most amazing birthday here, thank you Aeon team, the world is a better place because of you and your standards.

The hotel gave a very warm welcome, from the friendly pick up at the station to the welcome drink and friendly staff. The hotel was incredibly generous with their large buffet for breakfast, enormous dinner in the evening and a huge buffet ‘snack’ in the afternoon! The service was always polite and friendly. The owners Lukas and Matteus and receptionist Judith, were so patient answering many of our questions, making suggestions for our walking routes, planning our onward travel etc. The walking is fabulous. Excellent freely available maps with all the different numbered routes marked. A guest card allowing free travel on the hourly bus service meant lots of opportunities to begin walks at different points. The views from our balcony, from the terrace and all around are beautiful. The flowers and hotel garden were lovely. We had a wonderful week!

This hotel was AMAZING. The staff was fluent in German, Italian and English and very friendly. The breakfast was great, as well as the dinner. Our room had two balconies, with a BREATHTAKING VIEW of the Dolomites. If you have not been to this area of the world, you MUST, and this hotel is a perfect place to take in the beauty of the mountains and peace and quiet of nature. Once again, this place was quaint, very well kept and clean, with THE BEST VIEW

Overall amazing stay, we were in one of the recently renovated rooms and it was really confortable, clean. Breakfast had many options for all tastes and dinner was also good and creative, especially for the price. Location is amazing for visiting the Dolomites, and the view is breathtaking! We particularly enjoyed the outdoors spaces and how beautiful the garden is, with all those flowers everywhere. The staff is very friendly and welcoming as well

I liked the hotel very much, the view from the balcony is so beautiful. The room I booked for 4 persons is quite big, Its size exceeded my expectations, the beds are very comfy. We enjoyed swimming in indoor swimming pool, The sauna facility is super. The foods are very delicious, we had quite a lot choices for breakfast (buffet), dinners were great, from appetizer till dessert, we spent 2 hours every night for dinner which was great time for us as family eating together, we all enjoyed the foods.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Bozen, and it was an exceptional experience. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our stay. The standout moment of our visit was undoubtedly the delicious dinner we enjoyed – a plate of perfectly prepared spaghetti with seafood that left our taste buds in awe. One of the great perks of our stay was the city card provided by the hotel. This card granted us free access to various modes of public transportation and museums, adding incredible value to our trip. It made exploring the city and its cultural attractions a breeze. We stayed two nights at the Magdalener Hof Hotel in December 2022 and I wish we stayed longer! The breakfast was extremely tasty with a great variety of food, including delicious cheese, fruits, ham and cakes. All waiters were super friendly and trilinguals so that they could easily speak with all guests. We had a room with mountain view which was very romantic :). The mattress was also very comfortable and we slept very deeply. A big plus was the gym: spacious, clean, well-equipped and modern! The receptionists were very helpful when we asked for activities to do or recommendations.

The room was really nice. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had nice supplies - soaps and vanity box. The view was nice. It was good to have mini bar and a fresh jug of water was provided each morning, I found the staff in restaurant, reception and Bar to be extremely friendly. The housekeeping was super efficient - my room was cleaned each morning when I returned from Breakfast. The television was of excellent quality and had ample supply of channels. The breakfast buffet was superb - very well presented - even Champagne on ice. The cheese, meat, fruit, bread egg and smoked salmon variety was excellent.

The hotel is luxurious and quiet. The staff were all friendly and efficient. There is a very well equipped gym. I enjoyed a drink at the bar and a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was magnificent!

Excellent hotel for staying at Ortisei. It is a few minutes walk from the main commercial area of the town, but is far enough to be quiet. Rooms have great views of the mountains. The bedding was comfortable and the room modern. The gym, sauna and the jacuzzi were very clean and well maintained.

So many amenities, I wish we had more time to enjoy. Extremely personable and attentive staff. Beautiful room, views, terrace, jacuzzi. Can’t be beat.

Loved the access to the pool next door. My room had a huge patio space with a nice view over the pool and town. Pretty common areas on the ground floor and beautiful terrace at the back with a jacuzzi. It was very quiet with an extremely comfortable bed. The hotel restaurant was worth the price of the stay - the menu was innovative and the food beyond excellent! A little on the pricey side but worth every euro. I thoroughly enjoyed my meals there.

The room is very spacious with wooden texture. Very clean and comfortable. The balcony is great view. Used the sauna, very impressive! Did not have the chance to use the swimming pool or jacuzzi but imagined they would be great too. Everyone is so helpful and can have pickup service during day time from nearby area. Highly recommend this place!

We stayed for 3 nights in the first week of September. The staff were all really nice and helpful. It was great we could check in early and late on both our arrival/departure. The food was very good at dinner and you could choose from different menus mixing/matching. We did think the pre salad buffet was lacking though at dinner, unlike and the complete opposite to the breakfast buffet had a huge variety, all fresh and laid out nicely. The cooked breakfast options were lovely too. Service was efficient, didn’t wait long for coffees or plates to be cleared and was easy to get waitresses attention. The hotel was extremely clean and had good facilities including the spa. The sauna infusion daily was a nice touch and lots of relaxing seating areas. We both had a treatment each, my partner had a deep tissue massage which he said was good. I had a the hotels signature massage and unfortunately it wasn’t very good or that relaxing but more rushed and strange technique. The rooms were ok, bathrooms a little bit dated. Clean, comfy bed, good little kitchen area. Can hear noise from corridor and chairs scraping on balconies but nothing major and settled down by 11pm. Convenient location to walk to various cables for walks and good underground parking.

It had everything you could possibly need, including a private in-room sauna, which made our stay feel extra luxurious. As a sweet surprise, we were also gifted chocolates, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a personal wedding anniversary card from the hotel owner and team—an incredibly thoughtful touch that made our stay even more special. The breakfast was exceptional, offering everything you could want—fresh, high-quality ingredients, a huge variety, and an emphasis on taste and presentation. Every morning felt like a treat. Overall, the location, service, and attention to detail at Hotel Gardena are unmatched. We had the most incredible stay at this delightful property! Our time in Ortisei was not long enough so we will certainly be back and when we return I will check the availability of this hotel first!! When they say it is a family run business it is no exaggeration. The service is incomparable and we believe it is because of the family care and connection, Our meals were delicious, the room so comfortable (I fell asleep to the sound of a rushing river outside the balcony each night) and they were so helpful with hiking advice-which was the reason for our stop there, The hotel is located right across from the center of town which means it's convenient but QUIET. And lastly the spa! It's the perfect spot to relax and rebuild after a physically challenging day on the mountain. It has sauna, cold plunge, steam room, hot tub and the most gorgeous indoor pool you will ever see, If you have the opportunity to stay here do not miss it.

We loved the location of Villa Gabriela and the exceptional friendly service. This is a family run property with an eye for detail. Gabriela, Michelle and Daniel went the extra mile to make this one of our best stays. The breakfast menu with homemade bakeries was every morning an absolute delight. We loved enjoying our breakfast outside on the terrace with an uninterrupted view to the Seiser Alm. After a day of hiking we came back to the Villa treated to a wonderful sauna and delicious 5 course meal with an excellent wine menu. Thank you Gabriela for an unforgettable stay.

Walking in the door to this beautifully decorated villa is warm and inviting, they are their to welcome you at the door. This family own and run business exceeded our expectations. The hospitality, location, locally grown food prepared fresh daily, for breakfast and dinner were delicious. Our nicely decorated room, bathroom and balcony view were wonderful. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and we would like to have stayed longer!

Wonderful time at Villa Gabriela, warmly welcomed into this family’s beautiful home, with amazing meals each night and a delicious breakfast each morning. Good parking, easy access to Val Gardena slopes as well as hiking and cross country options. Quiet away from ortisei by 10 minutes. Particularly excellent job by Luca who answered all my questions and hosted each nights dinner with grace and hospitality beyond his years. I hope to return again in the future, thank you!

Lovely stay at Villa Gabriela. It is a very warm and inviting boutique hotel. Delicious Breakfast and dinner and catered very well to Gluten Free needs. It was in a lovely quiet location but very close to some of the big sights to see. Can't recommend this boutique villa stay more.

We came for one night but it did not take long before we decided to extend our stay for another night. It was even before we experienced the superb food at the hotel. I wish we could stay longer. The room is big, comfortable, cozy, very clean and with a spectacular view. The dinner at the restaurant was way beyond what we could expect in a small hotel like this one: I guess that they have a very creative chef and not just a cook. Each dish was so tasty, innovative and beautifully presented .The service was professional and friendly . The dinner was part of the room rate. Hard to believe. Needless to say that the breakfast was as good. The hotel, like the town of Ortsie, is surrounded by beautiful mountains and is a base to outdoor activities. The town center is lovely. If you are in the lake area of northern Italy, take a few days to visit the area and to stay at the Arnaria family-run hotel.

Everything. Rooms were impeccably clean and spacious, the balcony had a view of the stunning mountains. The owners were the nicest, we had a great time sunbathing in the garden and lounging everywhere in this hotel. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, we regret not having tried their dinner!

Just returned from our ski holiday in the beautiful village of Ortisei, after much research I found the Hotel Arnaria, im happy to say it was the perfect choice of hotel, the owners have totally re built this hotel, and made it into the right balance of comfort, and ambience, with lovely big quiet bedrooms with modern bathrooms and decor, but still traditional at the same time. Spa and pool area again perfect, staff are a credit to this hotel, the owners are always around for any questions or help you may require, shuttle bus ran by Hirchman, is always available, and will pick you up any time up until 6pm from either ski lift, no need to bother parking and hassle with your car. Food is 5 courses every evening with a choice to suit everyone, high standard of cuisine. Lastly I have to mention how clean this hotel is, I mean it's seriously clean everywhere, your sheets, towels, glasses you drink out of is sparkling clean, it's immaculate, again this is down to the owners who work very hard and take pride in their home, proof is in all the excellent reviews, there's nothing negative to leave, I wish them every success and keep up the good work, have already recommended to family and friends.

Amazing at every detail. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever been. The place is just amazing and the place so warm, makes you feel cozy. The views just breathtaking!!They were really attentive with our baby and even had a chair for her ready at breakfast. I hope we have the chance to return. The breakfast delicious and very varied. location of hotel among of nature where see green mountain every where. Quite place good for refresher & enjoy time with family. I advise hotel for honeymoon. I had been in hotel on middle of July where temperature as average 23 Celsius on day & 15 Celsius as average on night . On my experience I advise to spend whole trip on near ortisje if you looking for cool weather . Where it can be 35/42 Celsius on near Verona & Milano.

Breakfast setting outdoors under the grape vines with a view of the mountains couldn't have been better. It is quite a relaxing atmosphere (except for the birds and wasps!). I would only say that a buffet would be preferred so we could select the specific items and quantities desired. The quality was good and the dinners at both the bistro and restaurant were terrific. The website photos of the hotel setting do not do it justice!

Highly recommended hotel. Brightly designed. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious, and it is obvious that they tried to think of small details so that the place provides an excellent experience. Great shower. The bed is comfortable and pleasant. The balcony is spacious and with a breathtaking view. The breakfast is varied and very tasty. The staff are pleasant and extremely helpful. For example, my wife is a vegetarian, and for dinner, the kitchen and the waitress simply went out of their way to adapt a dish to her taste. Value above and beyond. It's a shame we had to continue the trip. Otherwise, we would have been happy to stay longer. Much longer.

Awesome stay, comfy room all wooden-made, fantastic view, great breakfast and really friendly owners/staff. One night we got some mulled wine and homemade biscuits to celebrate the Immacculate Conception. that was a fantastic extra treat.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel in July 2017 and enjoyed every aspect so much we returned again this month. Every aspect of our trip was fabulous, and each day started with wonderful breakfast, with all the home made ingredients. We developed a relationship with the fresh orange juice machine, the yogurts, the fresh fruit and the gorgeous bread not to mention the lovely coffee. After every day of visiting the South Tyrol it was so good to come back to the comfortable room, the balcony with its view across the valley, or sit by the pool. Then to relax with a beer or two before an evening meal, which was always delicious. The staff were as welcoming as on our last visit and, as always, attentive to detail, friendly, helpful and a credit to the hotel. Let’s not forget the housekeeping staff who also looked after the spacious, well appointed bedroom so well. And then of course there is Berlusconi, who was, well, like a cat!! This is a lovely place to stay for the Siusi attractions of walking or skiing and we could not recommend it more highly for comfort and being made to feel at home.

The spa facilities and breakfasts were outstanding. The outdoor pool with its perfect temperature was simply amazing. Everything was literally wow. A note about location: while the hotel sits along a road and street-facing rooms might experience some traffic noise if you're sensitive to it, the majority of rooms face the inner courtyard and mountain view, providing complete peace and quiet.

The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, with views over the valley or the Dolomites. Amazing hotel! Everything was fabulous, the rooms are spacious, modern and well equipped. It is very close to the slopes, the bus station is in front of the hotel. The heated pool and spa area is amazing. Excellent food, strongly recommend taking half board, the dinner is a genuine experience. The staff is extremely kind.

The rooms were immaculate, clean and exactly like the pictures. Everything seemed brand new and there was no wear and tear. Our room looked onto the mountain and the pool and the views were perfect. The pool and spa area where clean and very well presented. Breakfast was great, no complaints, lots of options.
