Room was very comfortable. Bed was firm, but overly so. Pillows good. Walk-in Shower was outstanding. Plenty of room, hot water, and water pressure. Appeared to be recently redone. Had a convenient foot rest on shower wall as well as shelves for soap etc. Bathroom had a lot of light and was roomy. Desk staff was outstanding. Friendly and assisted providing local information to locate a dinner location. Rooms and Hotel spotless: Housekeeping does outstanding work.

Room was really clean; so were the facilities. Stayed on third floor close to elevator. Bed was very comfortable. Nice shower and bathroom arrangement. Breakfast was good. Maria at reception desk was very nice... friendly and professional. Dog friendly.

After many horrible hotel stays I found a true gem!! This Hampton Inn/ Hilton was absolutely perfect! Nice big room, comfortable bed, and the great staff make this a must stay. It's super clean, a mile from highway, great breakfast, super helpful staff, reasonably priced and QUIET!!! Definitely will stay again and definitely will highly recommend!!

Wonderful experience. Check in was a breeze. After a very long day in the car, I really appreciated that. They even asked if we would care for a bottle of water. It was perfect. The room was super clean and the beds comfortable. All the staff were helpful and kind. Great coffee and breakfast.

We had a great stay at Salina's Hampton Inn. When I walked in it smelled really good. I was met with a friendly reception from Jayden, and even got a text from her asking if we were settling in well. I thought that was a nice touch. Our room was clean, comfortable, and even had thoughtful touches like complimentary ear plugs. The thoughtful design the management has done is very well thought out, and I appreciate it. The breakfast was delicious, and when we checked out, we were offered complimentary bottled water from Sadie. I am very pleased with our experience here and when I come to Salina this will be where I will stay. Thank you for a great place to lay our heads and rest.

This was the best Hilton Garden Inn we’ve stayed at. And as Diamond Honors, we stay in too many to count. Very new property, upscale modern & beautiful decor. Everything was perfect in the room, plus well stocked & spotlessly clean. Made to order breakfast was delicious & well priced, which included beverages. Nick, our server, was excellent. He was efficient & friendly. He managed the busy breakfast crowd & buffet alone & we actually wondered if was a manager filling in? We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Loved the design of the room. The work bar was great. Plenty of outlets and phones, hearing aids plug-ins for charging. A great setup for multiple computer users. The walkin shower works, but a seat in the shower would be so useful to us elderly, but do not require handicap facilities. We don't want to take a handicap unit, because generally speaking, there are only a few available. BTW, the hot tub, after 8 hrs of driving, was great at the HGI. The higher cost of this place was worth it, as we spent the nite a week earlier in a cheap hotel in a military town for $100, but the room stunk, the carpet was so dirty. Yes, when my wife got into the shower, the water turned black under her feet. I should have known when I walked thru the entryway of this "cheap hotel" no name will I mention, but the quality of the air in the entryway was enhanced by two water fountains that had a lot of chemicals that seemed to sear my smelling ability. After paying for the room, I was told they did not have a KING SIZE BED on the first floor, but he could give me two queens for the same price. Lol Obviously, I had not been in this room, and had no idea how bad the room we would walk into, would stink so bad. BTW, the stool was not upgraded in their last remodel, and us seniors have a hard time getting up off these kiddie stools, especially with no handicap bar to pull on. OK, lesson learned. Mental note, do not stay in old, poorly remodeled, Old, OLD, hotels.

The staff is hardworking and very professional which I believe reflects in the on-duty manager Anthony, he works as hard or harder than any employee there setting the example! Our room was huge and perfect , wish we could have stayed longer. Our breakfast server was Nick, very helpful, professional and courteous. When we were departing Nick said “ Have a safe trip” and you could tell Nick did not just say it, he meant it. Such a pleasure to find employees happy at what they do. I most highly recommend this Hilton Garden Inn in Salina Ks.

Very clean, very classy place to stay. Easy to access; quiet, beds comfortable, air conditioning adequate, parking good. My only complaint is that there were no Kleenex in the room. Breakfast buffet was good and waiter was very helpful. Beautiful place to stay, just put Kleenex in the room!

We loved the style of the building, the atmosphere. The interior colors are calming and relaxing. We also loved Monique who checked us in. So friendly and professional. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was modern, clean and stylish.

This was a rest point for our trip out to KC from Denver. We normally do not stay in Holiday Inn’s but decided to book it based on it being well rated and well priced. We arrived on the later side. The girl who checked us in was pleasant. She put us in a quiet room on the top floor. Our rate did not include breakfast but offered breakfast vouchers my wife and I for $7 each (our kids were complimentary). We opted to do that. Room was clean, modern and quiet. All I could ask for. Having the Bath and Body Works shower amenities was an unexpected treat. Breakfast the next morning was good. I got the egg white wrap and found it very tasty. Breakfast potatoes were nothing special. Overall, we left well rested and happy with our experience. On the way back to Denver, we drove until we got tired and found ourselves near Salina. This hotel popped up again as an option and was well priced again. We decided to stay there again. We checked in with the same girl and she put us in the same room. I wish I got her name - she is an excellent representative of your hotel. We had another flawless nights sleep. The only negative is that it is 4-5 miles south of I-70. Not the most convenient option but not a big deal to go a few minutes out of your way. Book this hotel with confidence.

staff was professional ,available and attentive. they have an amazing restaurant/bar. Burger Theory, was delicious I felt like a legit chef made my burger . yum! They have craft beers too. Parking is safe and easy. Easy location: enough off the freeway to feel safe but close enough to get back on the road . Close to gas, Walmart etc . the room was really clean and you can tell the staff takes pride. This will be my stop from now on. Safe for lone travelers. with the extra few dollars compared to the places around the area .

Hotel was older but clean. Check in was a breeze and the two girls checking us in were very friendly and accommodating. The room has hard beds. The bathroom had individual soap, shampoo and conditioner. I like that so much better then the big bottles attached to the wall that other IHG hotels have been doing. As a Diamond member, they gave my husband and I each a coupon for a free breakfast at their onsite restaurant Burger Theory. Breakfast was a mediocre buffet. Not well stocked. I would of been upset if it was a breakfast I paid for. I believe they said it was $8.00 per person. Not worth that price. However, our waitress that was getting us coffee and juice was excellent. She was running all over supporting the needs of all the customers. We did eat dinner at Burger Theory the night before, menu was small but food was very good. I would recommend it. Prices were also reasonable. I recommend this hotel and restaurant.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon. We felt welcomed; check-in was easy and efficient. We requested a handicap room, and room 309 suited our needs perfectly, with grab bars for the tub, a handheld shower, and a tub bench if needed. The room was large and comfortable, with a king bed. Outlets were plentiful, and lighting was more than sufficient. AC was too cold the first night, but we figured out the system and were comfortable the rest of our stay. There was a mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. TV included local channels, HBO, and cable channels. We ate breakfast at a reduced rate at the hotel restaurant every morning. Food was very good, as was the wait staff, who cheerfully met our requests, such as fruit instead of potatoes, vanilla creamer, etc. The pool was nice and clean, and I enjoyed the hot tub spa too. We flew in and out of the Salina airport, and the location was ideal for that. Also nearby was shopping and a variety of restaurants; we were spoiled for choice. Altogether a good stay, and we would recommend this hotel, and return again ourselves.

Convenient location off I-70. Felt very safe. Rooms are clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Good, hot breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely stay here again on our way to/home from Colorado.

We arrived late and I knew there would be a problem with my reservation as I had to change my dates through a 3rd party booking. The staff was great and made the check in a non issue. We were starving and was given direction to a 24 hour Mexican restaurant that was perfect. Beds were great! We slept late and just missed breakfast. Again the staff went the extra mile and let us fill up togo boxes with delicious breakfast foods. There was an amazing assortment! Best hotel breakfast on the trip! 10+ rating for the staff! The hotel is a.bit older but our room was clean and comfortable.

The staff were great! They made a huge effort to make us feel comfortable and my son to feel special on his bday. Everything was nice and clean, with a great breakfast every morning and extra snacks at the complimentary coffee bar. Although the slide for the pool was out of commission for renovations, the pool was kept clean, and slightly warm with plenty of pool toys and gear for the kids to choose from. They had a blast! Miss Jo who made breakfast every morning was so sweet and diligent about her work. She was a joy to interact with the kids. Someone needs to get her a new toaster because it’s about at the end of its life and she’s definitely earned it! (Lol) Thank you, and if we’re back in Salina, we’ll definitely stay again!

This was a very comfortable stay. The room was incredibly comfortable, especially the bed and everything was clean. The woman who does the breakfast was just as nice as all the comments we read said she was, and the breakfast was very good. It was probably the best hotel breakfast we’ve had that came included with the room. There were also a lot of gluten-free options, which was great. The young lady who checked us in at the front desk was very sweet and she even called to check that we got into the room OK and that we didn’t need anything. While the hotel was affordable, it was a little bit more than the other options in the area. However, it was worth it. You definitely get what you paid for. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are passing through.

Staff was very friendly, but WiFi was out the entire night. Room was clean. Best breakfast I have ever had at a chain motel….two flavors of wafflesw/ assorted toppings, several different kinds of yogurt, etc. wonderful pool that was deep, clean and actually warm enough to swim in! The water slide was the cherry on top. The parking lot was safe and well lit. Will stay here again.

Everything about this hotel was above my expectations. The room was very clean and beds were comfy! The breakfast had excellent choices and the lady in charge of the breakfast went over and above to make sure we were taken care of. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff. Safe neighborhood (of course it is Kansas). Room is clean but expected a little fancier as we got the Jacuzzi suite. Not the newest but decent. Bed is comfortable and clean (I always check for bed bugs).

Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Great value for money. Friendly staff, great breakfast and convenient location. Close to main road but with no highway noise in rooms. Choice of restaurants within walking distance.

Issues with computer system so we could not check in, went and had dinner, system was back running. Hotel room had a/c running so it took quite along time to warm it up. In the low 40s outside. Room was ok, needs to be updated, there was a sign some areas were being worked on, guess not ours. Dogs everywhere, so if you need a dog friendly place to stay, this is it. They even had their dog behind the desk. If you dont want to deal with people's dog, stay a different place. Made us wonder how clean things were with so many dogs. The time we stayed before we had plenty of dog hair on the comforter. Staff was friendly and the area seems pretty safe. Breakfast bar in the morning was quite a mess and lacking after some families hit it. Pool was closed. We have stayed here for several years and while it had gone downhill as some we are hoping with the renovations it is swinging back to being pretty nice.

Breakfast had a wide assortment of food to choose from. It was delicious and attendant responded to my request for an additional item, pool exercise area was clean and not crowded. My bed was comfortable and bathroom contained all the necessities and was very clean. The staff was very friendly and responded to requests and questions very quickly. I will definitely make my reservations here several times a year.

We didn’t wake up early enough for breakfast but our room was very clean and I really inspect rooms when I stay in one as I used to deep clean houses.. I always look at every detail. I couldn’t really find anything to complain about. Bathroom was spotless, grout was clean in shower and around toilet base, knobs were polished and the linens were comfortable and the room smelled good upon entering! It isn’t fancy by any means but it’s more importantly comfortable AND clean at an affordable price. The manager on duty that checked us in was friendly and helpful. Sits just off the highway for easy access and is close enough to places to eat you don’t have to go far. The restaurant inside is a nice bonus! I was traveling alone with my daughter and felt safe here as well. They also have an area in the indoor courtyard where there’s a ping pong table and pool table. We didn’t get to play but it looked fun!🤩

I really like this hotel. It has a lot of character and must have been quite the hotel in its heyday. I can imagine how active this place was at one time, with hundreds of guests milling about the place. So many rooms but very few were booked during my stay. Sad to see because I would really like to see this hotel make it. The outside of the building is not very inviting and looks rundown. A few repairs and some paint would do this building a lot of good. There is a bar and grill. Not many in attendance while my spouse and I was there. The food and drinks were surprisingly good!. The hotel has a huge indoor courtyard. Ping pong and pool table available. Various arcade games (I'm assuming they were functional). The floor in the pool area really needed a good sweeping and one can see where rust has formed on the metal wall beams and chair legs. The hot tub was out of order. The pool was very nice and the water was clean and very warm, so that was a big plus. The room we stayed in was clean and well maintained. Air conditioner worked well. We like our bed a bit softer, but overall it was good. The stairways need some vacuuming. The breakfast was very basic (waffles, yogurt, oranges, dry cereal, bread, mini-muffins, coffee, juices). We declined the breakfast and ate at a nearby restaurant where we could get some protein. Overall, I would stay here again. The price was good, room was clean, and I loved the warm water pool.

I travel often and this place was quite comfortable. Nice layout and also nice safe spacious area for kids with tables and seating and set away from rooms to eliminate noise. Nice indoor pool area. Everything was great for the most part. A automatic door would be more helpful. Pushing a wheelchair is harder without it. The orange juice at breakfast was water. They changed it. It was the the same. They should drink some and taste it. Otherwise, breakfast was very good. All in all it is a great place to stay. I am staying there again on my return trip home. I would recommend this place to others. I have other relatives who also stay here. Great hotel for the price. Glad I found it.

I stayed at this property twice in the last month driving across country and back. Both times, the desk clerks, both at check-in and checkout were welcoming and knowledgeable. The property appears to be an older property, it has been well-maintained over the years, but think of a moderate hotel from the 70's. Of note, although I didn't get one of such rooms, some of the rooms overlook an indoor "courtyard" so if you get one of those rooms, you won't have a window to the outside. When I was there, the courtyard appeared to be wasted space, but I can see how it would be an attraction for an event (such as a wedding or small trade conference). The property is located off to itself, there is a restaurant on site, but within Salina there are several restaurant options. The mattress in both rooms sat on a metal box. They have a well-stocked continental breakfast, which includes waffles and precooked eggs.

Other reviews concerned me, but location was perfect for where we needed to be. It turned out to be a nice choice. The building is dated, but the room was quite comfortable. Sheets and towels were very clean and nice. The staff was very friendly. We noted several senior couples staying here. It feels like a safe place. Glad we picked this one.

Exceptionally clean and maintained! Room was spotless with great AC, TV, shower, clean, comfortable beds, and plenty of plugs for our electronics. There was a nice, well stocked coffee bar. Management was extremely helpful and pleasant.

Best Inn is a superb place on a budget. Check in was easy and there is ample parking. There is no restaurant onsite and no breakfast or in-room coffee are provided however there are plenty of restaurants and fast food options within about a 5 minute drive. The room was comfortable and spacious. The TV was very large! There is a microwave and fridge. The king bed was comfortable and the heater worked well. The best part is how quiet the place is from other room noise or traffic. We highly recommended Best Inn plan to stay again the next time we come through Salina.

I won’t lie- given the low price and the location, I was skeptical. However, our stay was excellent! My boyfriend and I had a clinical rotation at Salina Regional, and had to be out the door very early in the mornings. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed to get a good night’s sleep between shifts. The “mini fridge” is extra large and has a freezer, so it was convenient to keep snacks and lunches to bring to the hospital. The TV is large and looks very new. The room was IMMACULATELY clean. When we got back to the room in the evenings, the bed was freshly made and there were even fresh vacuum lines in the carpet. My only complaints are that we had to go buy hangers (there are none in the room), there was no iron, and the towels are pretty thin and undersized. But given the price and the cleanliness, those things are easily forgiven. If you’re looking for an affordable, clean, no-frills place to get a solid night’s sleep, I highly recommend this place.

This is the second time I have stayed at this location and do not anticipate using any other lodging in Salina in the future. The rooms I have stayed in are either newly built or newly remodeled. They are clean, comfortable, quiet, and very well lighted. It is located on a quiet street that is apparently an old highway. It is very conveniently located near both Interstates but in a low traffic area. The manager (owner?) appears to live just a couple of doors down from my room which makes it feel even safer. Access to my room was from inside which is another level of safe but the neighborhood felt safe to me. Though the price is very much in the budget range the room looked and felt like one that you would usually spend several times as much to stay.

We love this hotel located in the middle of the USA, and this is our second stay here because we enjoyed our first day so much. It is modern yet homey, clean and comfortable, cozy and spacious, and for two times now, we had one of the best hotel breakfasts ever. Our room also had a full kitchen and two showers. You can really only use one shower at a time because one of the showers is clear glass and not located inside a bathroom so basically it’s see-through…unless it’s your close family member or spouse. Everything was clean and well-prepped, and the people were friendly. The area seems safe but we haven’t really explored since we were driving cross-country. Overall one the best hotels. It cost a little more but it was worthwhile.

We only stayed here because it was a convenient place to stop for the night on our way to Denver. Homewood Suites is in the middle of Salina — very walkable location. We have stayed at many Homewood Suites, but this was by far the best. Everything was perfect: friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of our one bedroom suite, Wednesday reception, breakfast. Best of all, we were a few miles away from the interstate, so it was quiet and peaceful which are great attributes after a long day of driving. Also— the town of Salina seems like a wonderful town: restaurants & bars, lots of art around, a few colleges. Highly recommend.

This was a great stay. This was an emergency trip and despite the reason for travel, this hotel stay was a bright spot. The halls and common spaces were clean and comfortable. Everyone was friendly. The night desk person even had dog biscuits for our 2 dogs. We did eat at the inhouse restaurant yaya's and it was delicious. The downtown area is quiet and clean. Sonic is right across the street and a walkable option for a night treat. Will be staying here again.

I’ve traveled a lot, and stayed in some very nice hotels, but this one is right at the top of my list. I chose it because I grew up less than 1/2 block south, and I wanted to just hang out and explore. The lobby’s expansive and beautiful, and I love the patios and variety of spaces to sit and relax. Starbuck’s and YaYa’s are great additions. The rooms are beautiful. I found the mattresses to be very comfortable, but that’s such a personal preference. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of variety and tasted really good. I stayed there twice within a month, and the friends and family I was with rave about the hotel. And, it’s pet-friendly! Perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at Homewood Suites at Salina, KS, for three nights. The front desk staff were friendly and prompt checking us in when we arrived. The suite was very clean and spacious. We have stayed in many other Homewood Suites all over the country, but this one is very posh. Breakfast was fresh with enough items and great service from the dining room wait staff. There are plenty of restaurants at walking distance from the hotel which made it very convenient.

Thanks Andrea! I accidentally reserved a handicap room but, didn't need. I have a sister who would need one. Andrea moved us to another room so the handicap room for those who need it. Think 1st floor is otherwise pet reservations. Thankful she put us on 2nd. Only complaint is the heater had a wine when it 1st kicked on. Ear plugs (which I always carry) took care of that. Bummed the hottub had to be reset Sat eve and wasn't warm enough. Will stay again

Convenient location and tractor trailer parking available. Easy on and off from I-35, close to I-70. Next to Braums. Staff extremely accommodating, Andrea was so helpful giving us specific instructions on how to come in and where to park, check in was smooth. Rooms are clean and spacious with upgraded showers, beds are very comfortable - we had the King. Blackout curtains, hot breakfast .... just a very comfortable stay altogether. We will be back!

We stayed in a pet room and it had laminate flooring. Room was clean and quiet. Bed comfortable. Clean shower. Breakfast area was spotless and had all the options one would need. Staff friendly

- clean - very friendly staff: Andrea one of the managers was so great! she was super friendly and gave me a free upgrade to a suite (I didn’t even ask) so my dog could be by the side door because she remembered he wasn’t a fan of going through the lobby when I stayed a week earlier and would bark at people :/ she was also great when I asked if I could switch rooms due to a lot of noise from side door closing and people upstairs and my dog was freaking out and I didn’t want him bothering people with barking. She got us into a suite on the top floor where it was much quieter for my dog. She also brought my dogs bone up to new room when I said I had forgotten it in first room(I had already turned in those keys) she offered to personally get it and deliver to new room! Not a lot of people/ hotel staff would go to lengths to do all that. That is great managing skills and a friendly personality at work:) I felt bad bc my dog is high maintenance at hotels because he is young and hasn’t experienced them very much (only one time prior) but she accommodated our needs very well without hassle or question! - Rooms were nice for the price - dog fee is only $25 which isn’t bad at all - Right by restaurants/ fast food and gas station all within walking distance - Nice breakfast (limited but perfect for me) - I didn’t use but there is a pool and fitness center - Felt safe as a solo women traveler

A dip in the pool was so refreshing! It revived me after 8+ hours of driving. The room was clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. I so enjoyed the breakfast because I didn't have the hassle of finding a restaurant. The location was excellent for my morning commitment. Plus the staff was friendly and helpful - the lady at the front desk recommended a restaurant that exceeded my expectations in service and quality of food.

The rooms are spacious. The mattress was firm, and comfortable for back sleepers. Linens were crisp and fresh. Our room was recently renovated with new furniture. The hotel was undergoing a lot of renovations and which we attributed to the stuffy noses when waking in the mornings. It was dusty. Hopefully they give the HVAC system a good clean out after renovations are complete. The bathroom was partly renovated. The bathroom floor tile grout looked moist and dirty. The bathtub had rust stains. Breakfast was great, with lots of options from oatmeal, to eggs and sausage. My kids love the pancake machine! Sandy, the breakfast host was friendly, and kind. She made our stay feel a little more like home. Thank you Sandy!

Loved everything about our stay here. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable with both soft and firm pillows, water pressure in shower was great,the refrigerator had a small freezer section, and there was plenty of space for our luggage. The front desk clerk at our arrival was friendly, efficient and welcomed us as reward members. While we were there they had a spin the wheel game for a prize. The breakfast in the morning was ample with good coffee. The breakfast area was very nice. There were cookies out in the afternoon for guests. Location was great with easy access to I-70. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We came to Salina, KS for a mini-getaway for the family. Wonderful, friendly staff. Cozy & clean room. Quiet atmosphere. Good breakfast buffet. The only drawback was that the hot tub wasn’t working and the pool was almost ice-cold. Overall, it was a nice stay. We’d be back!

Nice clean hotel even having slight renovations. Bed very comfortable, shower nice & hot with good water pressure. Breakfast was fantastic. Bacon, eggs, biscuits & gravy, and fruit & cereal. We are tea drinkers so water pot good & hot. Eating area clean & comfortable.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Colorado. Online reservation was easy to make, and the room was exactly as expected. The check-in person was super friendly, and I wish I could remember her name. The only issue was the elevator button from the lobby was out of order. Our room was on the 4th floor, and my husband is unable to climb stairs. The check-in person volunteered to walk up a flight of stairs and brought the elevator down to us. That was much appreciated. All staff members were so friendly and helpful. They also ad complimentary cold bottled water in a little refrigerator in the main lobby. Our bed was comfy, the sheets were soft, and the king bed had a choice of two firm pillows, and two soft pillows. There was even an embroidered "firm" or "soft" of each pillowcases, which I had never seen before. The shampoo/body wash products were Dove brand, and the shower water was very soft. We would definitely stay here again.

I liked that the hotel was near the Interstate, close to shopping mall and plazas, restaurants, downtown shopping. The breakfast buffet had a variety of delicious food. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and we all felt safe in the location.

Breakfast was same as most hotels these days, fake scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, etc., etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. Hotel only 2 years old, very nice and clean. Location is amazing - sits alone on a side road in an almost rural setting and is very quiet. Lots of good local restaurants nearby. Easy to find and to get back on the highway again. Would highly recommend.

After a long day of driving, this hotel was an oasis. The room was comfortable, quiet and very clean. Although somewhat isolated, there are a number of restaurants a short drive away. I was pleased with the breakfast ... a number of healthy choices.

From making a reservation (Shelly was our hero!) to morning breakfast, this hotel could not have been better. The room was very clean, fresh, contemporary and welcoming. Great bed, ambiance and comfort in the room. Bathroom was clean and had wonderful product for bath and body. Staff all around were super friendly and helpful. The purchase tickets for breakfast afforded us a healthy, tasty morning meal. This is THE place to stay in Salina!

There is no Breakfast provided except at an in-house Starbucks, not happy about this but we knew about this before we booked the stay. We would stay here again.

Rooms and lobby were clean and comfortable. But not being able to get courtesy coffee in the lobby is extremely rediculous. Having to buy 3 cups of coffee, is absurd. Want to charge for breakfast, still absurd, but at least give coffee. The in toom coffee maker was small and dont tryst that no mold sitting in the water fill..so.. rethink your policy

Perfect for our stay very comfortable room. Great staff at front desk very helpful. Comfortable room and bed. Nice amenities in the room. Close to plenty of eating places and interstate. Very clean. Quiet room no noise from the outside did hear a baby next door but not a problem. Good wifi.

I stayed several times at this hotel and the staff was fantastic -- especially Ty who would go out of his way to help me out. The rooms were always clean, quiet and tastefully decorated. the breakfast was hot, tasty and delicious! A wonderful place!

This was a perfect stop on our road trip from Colorado to Ohio. We had 2 cars, one roof loaded with several sets of skis and 2 snowboards, one car hauling a camper. We were concerned about parking our gear overnight somewhere but this hotel was a bit off the beaten path and parking here was ample, extremely well lit and under security surveillance. I asked the front desk the best place to park the camper and she was reviewing all the security screens looking for the best spot. The facility is definitely older but has been renovated wonderfully- better than most hotel renovations we’ve seen. The beds were comfortable, they had different pillow options on each bed (down and traditional fill), and the towels were very soft. The room was spacious and accommodated 2 adults and 2 dogs perfectly. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The staff was wonderful! The rooms were very clean. Very quiet. Would highly recomend. Will definitely stay there again. You got a welcome popcorn. Rooms smelled very clean. They also have DVD players to watch movies on. Bed was comfortable. Had board games you could borrow. The recliner was my favorite. I actually fell asleep in it.

Diane at the front desk was awesome when I left an item behind, she found it quickly and called me back. We like the convenience of a kitchenette and appreciate the well lit pet area. Lots of options for dining and coffee in the neighborhood. The front desk person at check in was also very helpful.

Leaving for home today. Another great visit. The owner/operators of the motel are friendly. The place is clean and peaceful. We always enjoy the pool and jacuzzi. It is a heated pool which is nice. The motel offers breakfast, internet and is pet friendly. When we stay over in Salina we always stay here.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great - it had a pancake maker that made great pancakes, and also had cereal, yogurt, coffee and juice. The pool was nice and warm and clean. The hotel in general was very clean. Comfortable beds. It was a great stay for our family with 3 kids under 8 years old. Also there were restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations close by

The hotel was clean and our room was clean. The lobby had an odd smell like pine sol or similar, but you could tell it was well-kept. There was a vending machine and ice machine near the lobby. The breakfast was great and coffee was good. The pool was being worked on, but there was cool water in the "hot tub", which was better than nothing for my child. For one night, it made my son happy. All staff was very friendly and helpfuI. We would stay here again.. there several food options of restaurants close by, too.

The motel was clean, comfortable, quiet and has a recliner in the King room that was essential for my husband to be able to sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well presented and stocked.

I always like to stay in this motel when I drive back and forth across the country with my two dogs because it’s quiet, and I feel safe there. It’s a quiet, mellow area (not to say it’s fancy - a lot of the businesses in the neighborhood have closed), but there is a viable home-DIY store across the street (usually closed when I am there, which is fine), and an Arby’s across the street that has good sandwiches. The Village Inn staff is always nice, and I just generally like the vibe. I can park right outside my room, which is convenient with the dogs, and they have a large grassy area. It’s worth it to drive the one or two miles off the highway to know what I am getting. It feels homey, and the bed is comfortable, so it really works for me.

This very no-frills place was just what I needed for a business trip. I love that it's a motel so there's parking directly in front of my room; made for perfect loading in and out, especially when I was tired and overheated from a day of being outdoors at an art fair. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, the ac worked perfectly, and it was super nice that there was a freezer in the in-room refrigerator. The staff was very nice, from the owner who checked me in, and the cleaning lady, who made sure to check in each time she saw me, but wasn't pounding on the door in the morning waking me up, either. The only negative was that the room was heavily fragranced with what seemed to be incense when I checked in; I'm very sensitive to scents, so it gave me some sinus trouble and a headache that first night, but it aired out afterwards. If I get into the same show next year, I would love to stay here again! Additionally, the whole city of Salina was very welcoming and kind, and it's clear they truly value the arts community there.

The property was simple neat and clean. Nothing spectacular. No coffee maker, but the end it was a great value for the money. I would definitely go there again. Bonus for cigars smokers, there was a bar that had a cigar lounge. That was really a lot of fun right next-door, Plenty of places around to eat

The lady at the desk was polite. Although we had a little confusion at first. She made sure we were taken care of. We had a nice stay. Our room very was clean, the bed was ok. There was plenty of hot water for showers. Even though they were completely occupied our room was very quiet. There is a large grassy are for pets to do their business. It was well kept. They are very pet friendly! This is an older facility. But if you’re looking for a good night’s rest at a fair price this is it.

Felt good to get a hot shower and comfy bed after a long day of driving! Spacious, clean, comfy room and complimentary dove products! Continental Breakfast was from 6 to 9am including waffles! Will definitely stay again, as it is a good stop on a roadtrip.

It is right off I 70. However, if you are looking for a restaurant with a bar, you have to go into town. We ended up at Old Chicago...We had our pups with us so we ate on the patio. Service and food were as expected. However, when inquiring about a restaurant where we could bring our dogs, we were just handed a list. The list was not up to date. I would be convenient for them to know which restaurants take dogs.

The staff person was very friendly. Very clean. However, the shower/tub spigot does not operate properly and sprayed out the side when attempted to pull up for the shower. Lighting in the bathroom was extremely dim. Need different coffee vrndor

Misty checked us in with a nice smile and a warm greeting. After getting settled in our room we went to the front desk to ask directions to a nearby restaurant. Misty provided the directions and said our choice was a good one. She was right about the directions and the restaurant. Our room was clean and our bed comfortable. We would stay here again if in the area.

The room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and professional. The hotel location offers easy on/off access to I-70. The free breakfast was nothing to brag about, muffins, cereal, juice, coffee and the ubiquitous diy waffle maker (no cooking spray, so that meant the waffle stuck and came out in pieces). If you have time, skip it and get a real breakfast at the nearby IHOP. But this was a minor complaint, overall, I can certainly recommend this hotel.

We made last minute reservations on our trip from Southern Illinois to Colorado. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and functional. The evening clerk who checked us in was most helpful and courteous.

This motel was relatively easy to get to off of I-135, although it is off the beaten path. It is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Check in went smoothly. The room is adequate and the Wi-Fi reasonably fast. Breakfast is good. The beds are comfortable. The only slight issue is the closeness to the interstate made for a lot of traffic noise. The value for cost is good and I would recommend this motel to anyone staying in the area.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Although not recently updated, the hotel property is well maintained. We arrived late at night and the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. One of our key cards didn't work; maybe a card programmer device issue?

I’ve stayed here before and would again. It is a great value hotel. Cheap price and you get a clean, comfortable room. Comfortable bed, they give you new towels every day you are there, fresh waffle option for breakfast or fruit and cereal, coffee and juice. It’s pet friendly. Gas station next door and other restaurants across the street.

Pros: Inexpensive, close to the highway, clean, friendly staff, coffee maker in room, microwave, fridge with separate freezer, nice treed view out window, breakfast (didn’t use) Cons: No elevator, no king size beds on first floor available, we are 65 plus with back and knee issues, hauling our luggage up stairs was not an option for a king size bed which we had reserved. We settled on two queens which were comfy soft with bed toppers. We would have given it an extra star if it had an elevator. We didn’t mind an older hotel, it adds, for us, to the ambience. If you want a more modern hotel experience look elsewhere.

Highly recommended. There are so many highway motels run by families, and the quality of the motel really depends on how much the family takes pride in their business. This property is so, so well maintained and clean, it was really a joy to stay here for a few days. Extremely kind and welcoming owners, solid breakfast, and they’ve really created an environment where casual travelers can get to know each other and share stories while they eat. Everyone just feels comfortable here and that’s a testament to the time, energy and love that the owners have put into this place.

We arrived at 7p and after a long, full day of driving, we were pleasantly greeted and handed a welcome bottle of water. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and had all the amenities anyone could want. I like rooms that have the sink and vanity separate from the rom with the tub and the stool, so this was perfect. Continental breakfast was adequate and coffee was very good.

I didn't pre-book a room but I paid the same when I got there that was listed on line. The check-in was quick and easy and I was given a room on the second floor at the far end and on the opposite side of the office. The hotel was pet friendly and had good reviews so those were the main reasons I wanted this hotel. My room was very clean, there was a microwave and a small fridge. There wasn't a blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner or lotion but I did have all of those items with me. There was also no breakfast but I believe that there was a vending machine by the ice machine. The queen size bed was very comfortable and there was great water pressure in the shower. There was a big field across the parking lot from my room and there was a designated pet area also. The hotel itself was very quiet but I could hear the traffic from the highway in my room with that being said I still had a good nights sleep. I would definitely stay in this hotel again when I am in the area.

I would have to say that this Motel 6 is the nicest one I have ever stayed in. I could tell that the staff really took pride in there job. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I'm not from that area and had no idea where to get a bite to eat or how to get there and the front desk clerk not only gave me great suggestions but she also wrote out turn-by-turn directions to get to where I needed to go. The room I was in was extremely clean and modern. My bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

The renovated rooms of Motel 6 have raised the standards for cheapskate travelers. This location was clean, bed comfy, and great hot shower.

The staff in the office was great. The size of the room was nice and the bathroom was large. There was a microwave and fridge in the room. However this property has seen better days. Bedsheets were clean, the bedspreads were snagged, which I chalked up to the room being for pets. There was a dirty, (possible used for cleaning) damp wash cloth on a bathroom bar by the toilet. Floors were cracked. The floor must not have been mopped for several guests. When taking a shower, I looked down and my feet had turned the bathtub black. I had been walking in the room barefoot. The floor also felt sticky. With the wonderful size of the bathroom, it would have been nice to have a shelf area to put toiletries.

Let's get real. For the price this is probably one of the nicest hotels you can stay at in Salina with working WiFi and cable. Pool, bar, working room phone? No. Yes it's old and the coffee pot is in the bathroom, but who cares. The staff is very friendly and keeps the place clean considering it's size and age. Only an idiot would compare this to a hotel costing 3x as much.

A bit dated, but one of the cleaner hotels I've stayed in over the past few weeks of travel. Good size bed and room. Clean bathroom (yay!). Fridge and microwave in room. This place is large - I had an interior room, so no iew of anything other than the inner courtyard, but I was only there for the night. Free wi-fi (it worked), loads of parking, and free breakfast (pretty basic, waffles, yogurt, breads and pastries - but the muffins were full size and good! And the OJ was tasty and not just the stuff that comes out of the basic machines). Could have done without Fox News blaring on the TV but I just tuned it out as best I could so I could enjoy my breakfast. Great rate and easy access to the interstate (including quickly getting back to 70W).

The hotel is pretty decrepit - but very clean. However, because of the sever humidity and the fact that there was no AC turned on in my room - everything felt damp. All night. But good, friendly service and decent breakfast. For $50 - it's still a deal.

We had a pleasant stay. We needed a place to rest our head and get a good night sleep to get back on the road. They are in the middle of remodeling but don’t let that stop you from staying here. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable and very quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will stay here again.

This was a highway pit stop booked on Expedia. Motel is under construction and not in an attractive location, but I received a clean, renovated, and comfortable room, and the price was right. Check in was by video and worked fine. Cable TV and wi-fi worked well.
