The hotel has private, secure parking. The hotel is very clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has a great variety of food, from waffles to menudo.

We had an amazing stay here, everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and always clean.

We were traveling from the U.S with a loaded truck so we were looking for a safe secure location in SLP. The parking lot was onsite with security so that made us feel better. The hotel was clean & staff follows covid-19 safety procedures. Breakfast was good & staff serving it were really neat & friendly. I am very pleased with my stay, the price was great for what we got. Would deft recommend if you’re traveling & need somewhere to stay overnight.

Amazing! Super friendly staff and very helpful. We had to check in after check in time, 3-12 check in time. We checked in at 230am because we were running late they were very accommodating of that. Breakfast was beyond superb! Will absolutely stay here again. Only downsides-no fridge or micro in our room. And the room was a bit on the small side but still wonderful. Also free use of laundry facilities

The location was perfect. It was right in the heart of the historic district. Very near to old colonial churches, plazas, museums, restaurants and coffee shops etc. The hotel restaurant also serves good food. Friendly staff and attentive. Great service. One can also ask to have your luggage stored for safekeeping if one arrives earlier before check in time.

The location right in the city center, friendly staff and comfortable beds. The hotel is clean in general, the interior decoration is nice and our room was spacious. The hotel has good services like restaurant, laundry and gym. Our flight landed really early in the morning and we already knew that the check-in is only from 3PM onwards, but the staff was helpful and finally got us a room a few hours before the official check-in time :)

While the hotel was well located in the city center, it was busy in the area and some streets were blocked off which made it a bit tricky to get to the parking lot. Once we finally parked in the lot across from the hotel (for a nominal additional fee of 65 pesos), we were promptly checked in & found our room extremely clean & inviting. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant then slept well in the comfortable bed with extra pillows. Definitely recommend this place for a good night’s sleep in the city. Every single staff member we encountered was more than helpful & accommodating.

Room can be controlled via one's Smartphone. Each room has its own router to enable the control. The room has Bose speakers. Bathroom OK, but not as nice as the room. It has an excellent illuminated shaving mirror, with one side magnifying, to see all my wrinkles, faults and flaws up close and brightly lit. :)

The hotel is in an excellent central location. The room was very clean, with a balcony, and peaceful. If you can ask for a room with a balcony I think it would be better as you can spend there sometime while drinking your coffee. The hotel does not offer breakfast and has not a restaurant as well. Personally I did not mind this at all because around the hotel are numerous beautiful places where you can have breakfast/lunch/dinner. And one thing for the city. San Luis Potosi is a beautiful and picturesque city. The people are nice, helpful and smiley. You have nothing to fear in terms of walking at night or thefts. I live in London, and believe me, you have much more to fear when walking around London at night than when you walk in San Luis Potosi. Forget what you have heard etc. The city is perfectly safe and sound. Next time I will be back to San Luis Potosi, I would definitely stay to San Francisco.

I rated this hotel a 4 because it delivers on all of the really important things. Our room, albeit small, was very comfortable, the beds were great for sleeping, the bathroom was adequate, it was very clean and very quiet. The AC worked perfectly without a sound. The location of the hotel can't be beat, it is in the heart of the Centro Histórico, just a few steps from a main pedestrian walkway with shops & restaurants and close to many of the beautiful plazas with churches and museums to visit. The lobby is beautiful and a comfortable place to hang out if you have nowhere else to go. The negatives are that there is minor maintenance that needs to be done, some peeling and marks on the walls. The rooms do not have the same charm as the lobby, they are pretty utilitarian square cement boxes. The service by the lobby is good but not great - there were opportunities for the staff to go above & beyond (thereby earning that 5th star) that they left on the table. The attached restaurant, although quite affordable, is mediocre. Overall, I would stay there again.

Good location. Stayed for 4 nights. Rooms are small but comfortable. Clean with plenty of hot water. Check in and check out was quick. Not the friendliest counter staff, but who cares they got me checked in quickly. Restaurant down stairs not to good. I found that most the surrounding restaurants were not to good. Especially avoid the restaurant in the main plaza called Virreal. Great location, but i had the worst meal that you can imagine. Ordered the New York steak medium rare. A very thin cut of meat that seemed to be only cooked on one side. Cold fries where served right on top of the steak that soaked up the blood. Horrible could'nt eat it. Try the Tokio cafe. It was the least offensive of all the restaurants i tried. .

Hotel San Francisco is located in central San Luis Potosi just a couple of blocks from the city's central plaza. The rooms are comfortable and clean with good Wi-Fi and lots of natural light. The hotel's rather drab restaurant serves a decent breakfast at a reasonable price. Overall, a nice hotel in a great location.

This is an almost brand new hotel on the southern edge of San Luis Potosi, very convenient to the autopista bypass that goed around SLP. Staff was very accomodating, spoke good english and was complying with all Covid restrictions. Bed was super comfortable, HVAC worked perfectly and shower was great. No coffee maker in room and coffee in the AM was too expensive, but our evening meal and drinks were delicious and reasonble priced. Everyone must try the Sopa de Tortilla, es muy rico! Will definitely use this hotel as my stopping point driving from Laredo to Cuernavaca. Surcharge for pets was $40US, but happy we stayed here regardless.

This property was an amazing surprise at the price. I did not expect such a nice place. We booked it for the swimming pool and the swimming pool was heated, which was amazing and there were beautiful plantings and shaded and sunny seating areas all around the pool They upgraded us to a suite which was wonderful, as we had an extra person with us. They did not charge us for the cot/camita, but having that made a huge difference in our comfort level. The place is spotless, although not brand new. The staff was lovely and the food at the restaurant was high-quality.

The hotel staff was very friendly. I felt comfortable coming in and out of the hotel. The free breakfast in the morning was great. Sometimes if I was feeling lazy to go downstairs, my partner would prepare a breakfast plate and bring it up to our room. Great location, that permitted going to all parts of the city. Free coffee and tea all day which was delicious.

The service, is excellent. Great , wide choices of complimentary breakfast ..full breakfast, not j6st simple continental but choices of beans, salsa, tortilla chips and eggs. There's bread , muesli etc. I ate lots that kept me full all day to a busy work day. Inexpensive U S choice. Complimentary shuttle takes you almost everywhere in town. Friendly drivers.

We had never stayed at this particular City Express, but we were positively impressed. The staff were friendly, the romos were ample enough (though the two twin beds are kind of cramped), and best of all, the breakfast buffet includes the best granola in the world: Lusy.

I loved my stay here. My mom and sister stayed here last year and we have all come back to stay here independently since. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating and the rooms are super clean and comfortable. I will always choose to stay here when I come to SLP.

The property was clean and modern. The pool was amazing as the water was warm. Adequate bathroom access by the pool. Great view from the top floor here the outdoor pool was located.

We have stayed at a City Express before and we knew what to expect. The hotel was clean and the staff was efficient & professional. They would have been far more helpful or friendly we think, had our Spanish or their English been more proficient. But the basics went well. Our room had two comfortable double beds and was quite comfortable. There were even two good chairs for sitting at the desk. The only drawback was the smell of damp towels that got trapped in the bathroom from previous occupants. We propped the door open and the smell was soon gone. The location for us was not good since it was on the other side of town from the birthday event we were attending. However, other hotels, including a closer City Express, were fully booked for that time. The hotel serves a good, nutritious breakfast with plenty of choices for even the fussiest eater. Yes, we would stay again at any City Express.

Was only five days, breakfast was complete seleccion of warm breakfast more of espected, room was extremly clean, comfortable, staff fresh and very nice, always pending on a good customer service, just love it!!!

City Express hotels are no frills and no surprises, Things work. There’s good coffee, the breakfast is okay. The WiFi works. What a really like are blackout drapes. I sleep better here than at other hotels, even if the pillows aren’t the best.

Everything was nice, and breakfast was delicious! Clean and great service.

The place has a great location close to stores and restaurants, the personal it's friendly and formal. Breakfast it's acceptable the food at personal taste it's stronger seasoning but has different varieties on other foods. I recommend get better cleaning on the bathroom.

Really convenient hotel; the location was not tourist friendly and to get to convenient stores was not that easy walking. The room met its purpose, the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable and to get to the historic city center, it was a 5 - 10 minute drive. The free breakfast was ok. All in all we had a comfortable stay.

We had an overnight here. Our travel agency had arranged for the hotel's shuttle to meet our flight, but they didn't. Our room was tiny but very clean and had a nice, firm King mattress. Wi-fi worked great. When their shuttle isn't making airport runs, they will take you where you want to go. The hotel is just off a major highway, in a neighborhood which looks somewhat abandoned because the bus terminal that was across the street relocated. However, except for the very few hotels in the historic district, this hotel is actually very close to it. Most of the big chains have built along the highway, much further away from downtown. A cab ride from the hotel to the historic center was only 40 pesos. The included breakfast was very abundant -- many more offerings than we've experience at any other Choice Hotel facility. The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. Plan to have lunch and/or dinner in the downtown, because there are not restaurants near the hotel.

I choose this hotel because it was close to the industrial area such as Work Trade Center. Hotel was clean and friendly. I used Uber to get around to downtown, historial zone and restaurants. if I need to be in this area again, I will choose this hotel. View from my window not so great. But I was not there for the view. I was here to work.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and great variety to choose from. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with the air conditioner but someone was sent immediately and it was taken care of right away. Good location

This is an Express place to stay. It is the perfect place to stay to get your rest. The room we were given was perfect as it gave views of the city. The room was clean and bed was comfy. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I have is when you have 2 people booked for the room you should provide 2 bottles of water not 1.

This is the 3rd time staying at this property. It’s very safe with its own secure and private parking. It’s close to restaurants and bars. Staff is friendly and the place is super clean.

Receptionist Anna was very professional and friendly. The Hotel is exceptionally clean and comfy, the shower had good pressure and HOT water. It was a good experience and will come here again.

Clean rooms, parking lot is really small for a minivan or a larger vehicle. They have a buffet breakfast bar and a social hour with beer, wine and snacks. Overall good experience to stay overnight wouldn’t recomend for a longer stay or with kids.

I was greeted at the front of the hotel by some very kind receptionists and cordially told about the check in and my room. Procedure was quick and hassle-free (I reserved online through expedia). Hotel is new and very clean, with very sleek and modern design, and simple colors. Rooms are small, but have the same kind of sleek design. I stayed in a room with a single queen bed, and it had a bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer and two towels. There is also a floor mat for the shower. Bathroom had a faint toilet odor, but was tolerable. All water is the hotel is drinkable, which I decided to test. I'm still alive and well, so it seems to be true! Soap comes from a little dispenser in the sink and the shower. No shampoo or conditioner. Bed is nice and comfortable, but there is no flat sheet and I'm not sure how often the comforter is washed. It did smell clean though so I was satisfied enough. There is a small flat TV mounted into a cabinet straight ahead that had several TV channels (mostly in Spanish). The cooler is mounted on the wall above you and is controlled via a thermostat on the wall. You have a small couch by the bed and a desk whereon to do your work, and cabinets for your clothing. The internet is awful. Couldn't get any work done and ended up using my hotspot instead. There is nowhere to plug a laptop directly. Breakfast is amazing. I paid 89 pesos for it (about $6) but it was well worth it. Overall a good experience.

I was attracted to this hotel because its rates were substantially lower than those of the place where I usually stay, when in SLP on business. It was quite clean and modern. The staff were quite accommodating. The premises were safe. That being said, you get what you pay for. What it has is good; what it doesn't have are things by whose absence, you are saving money. First and foremost, the my room was small. This is no problem, if one is just at the room to sleep. The bathroom had no frills. There was no coffee maker in the room. I was ok with all of these things, because with the money that I was saving, I could get coffee downstairs, get my own bottled water and use my own bar of soap, and have about a thousand dollars left over (I was there for a couple of weeks). So, if you are willing to take responsibility for taking care of these things yourself, you can have a comparatively inexpensive stay in a new, clean, safe, friendly place.

This place is modern and spotlessly clean. The lobby is welcoming and friendly with a nice sit down service restaurant to one side. The rooms are small, but the beds are big and comfortable. The bathrooms are very modern, and the hot water was delicious. The only downside was a notable lack of electrical outlets - only one in the room.

The hotel has a old Mexican decor feeling which is a little outdated and needs updating. The hotel location is great and the staff is friendly. Overall the beds in the rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and good. The hotel offers a nice breakfast which has a omelet bar, with fresh fruits, breads and other assortments. I hotel also has a nice bar area and offers a dinner buffet which I did not try during my stay. Overall the hotel is charming and relaxing but is need of some updating. The location is great and there are good restaurants located within the area.

We were here on business in SLP. We stayed here for a week. It was like no other property we had stayed. There is a large courtyard inside it. They hold tented events inside it. The manicured green space inside was a nice visual to view walking to your room. Our room was very nice as well. We had a King Suite with a balcony onto the courtyard. The bed was luxurious. It was situated down two steps in the room. With the small balcony in the same area. The bathroom had high end finishes. The room had dark wood tones. There was a working space in the room as well. It was not optimal but worked fine. Everything was very clean. Overall we were very comfortable for our stay. The building was unique. It was aging but it actually was what one would expect in a large fort like structure in Mexico. The check in was smooth and easy. They appeared to be very happy to have us there. Service was some of the best we had ever experienced at a Hilton property. The food and margaritas at this place were great. We had the breakfast comped for us because of our status. They were huge offerings and very well done. We ate one dinner there as well. The food was very good. It is located accross from places to eat. There are a few in walking distance. We felt very safe here. Overall a great place to stay.

I chose this property based on the charm of the building over the modern Hilton down the street at a similar price. Elevator extremely loud. Don’t let yourself be in a room near the elevator. Water pressure is low at times, restaurant food is very marginal. There are restaurants across the street but you’ll be somewhat limited choices and times for eating. Oxxo and a supermarket walkable. Pool had no towels and stuffing coming out of the cushions. Soooo many kids. This is not a quiet adult place if that matters to you. 2 of 3 nights there was a party in the hotel restaurant. Service was perfunctory rather than warm. Hilton wifi is ridiculous. You have to re-logon 5-10x per day. Move into the 21st century, Hilton. Stop annoying customers with this to sell them faster Internet. It’s quite ridiculous in this era. But it is a beautiful building and the room and bed are beautiful and comfortable.

The property is amazing make us feel that Mexico that we miss so much, very nice area, excellent customer service. all the employees was cordial and respectful...we only have good things to said to all.Carpet need a little more cleaning really a deep cleaning but all the other aspects were good in the room... I'm very surprised with the restaurant food we expect for the price a good quality but was not service was excellent but food over price and not so good Then we only eat there one time that again we not expect that because we want have a nice dinners in there but when we see what we pay for a breakfast we decide don't take chance with the dinner overall was a very nice relaxing week and we'll come back soon to the hotel.

Disclaimer: I'm SUPER picky with hotels. Here's my review: For the price, it was excellent. Easy to get to, in the middle of the industrial area. The rooms are big enough to have your bag, move around and shower. The desk was adequate. The bed, pillows and towels were not of memorable quality, but they served their purpose and were clean. The breakfast was simple with limited options, but actually tasted great. It's not a hotel for leisure, it's a budget hotel that is simple for over night stays or business purposes, and it fulfills this purpose perfectly. Most importantly, the staff was super friendly and the place was perfectly clean. There's a wings place and a mexican-diner-like restaurant right outside, if you don't want to lock yourself in your room right away.

I loved how clean and fresh it smelled every time we walked through the hallway to get to our room. Our room was very clean and had a great view of the city. The breakfast was very good, and the staff always greeted us and were very respectful. I had no problems at all in this stay. I will for sure stay here again next time I’m in S.L.P.

The hotel is located in an industrial area. That means that there is no other businesses other than factories. The only restaurant is the one in the hotel, so prices are high. Service at the hotel and restaurant were good. The facility is well maintained. We made our reservation with my phone app and we paid for a King size bed in a spacious looking room. When we arrived, we were given a cramped room with two single beds. The beds were ok, but that was not what we purchased. The AC unit was literally on top of one of the beds, making it extremely cold and uncomfortable. If we had the King size bed in the center of the room, it would have been more comfortable because there would be a buffer area between the AC return vent and the bed. When I asked the attendant why she change our reservation, I was explained that they market their units also, and that because they collect the cash upfront when they rent the units themselves, they give preference to those clients. Not very fair, but that was the way they worked.

Clean, simple but beautiful pictures in the rooms and lobby. Due to covid-19 the continental breakfast was delivered at the room, very safe and convenient, and good breakfast. Beautiful view, room with little balcony. The only issue is that there is no fan in the bathroom.

Everything was amazing. Big spacious rooms. Great views and breakfast. Jose at check-in was very friendly and helpful.

Place is very new and comfortable. We stayed in the apartment and it was clean and spacious. Great views and lots of big windows. When we booked, the listing said all meals included. We arrived and found this was not the case, only breakfast was included. Breakfast was good, delivered to your room at a time of your choosing

Excellent service during my stay. Hosts answered all my questions and gave me the best tips to move around town. I arrived earlier for check in and my room was upgraded to a master suite. The hotel included breakfast, a gym and a laundry. The room was very clean, comfortable and had an excellent view.

It was a great stay and the property is absolutely beautiful! The breakfast is a paid buffet breakfast but the food was amazing.

I love the pool. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. The food is good. What more can you ask for? The gym needs new treadmills but all in all it was clean and not musky smelling. The pool is very nice and clean. The amenities are quite fair for a hotel that's not branded. Well worth it.

Located a few miles from the Industrial area, this hotel (looks like a Villa) offers a great and smooth atmosphere. People were very friendly and helpul, beside the Gym was out of service during the week of stay, there is an internal "park" where you can walk and sit and enjoy the great view of the pool and the gardens. Restaurant located inside the facility offers a good variety of meals and closes almost at midningt.

Location is on the primary avenue of Carranza that connects el centro to the suburbs. It’s very walkable and also convenient for ride share.

The place is modern and clean. The Staff was helpful and ensured I had everything needed. It is conveniently located to the city center. with lots of safe activities. The service was top notch, and the bed was very comfortable.

Overall a clean, well styled hotel. The front office does not exchange or accept payment in USD despite having a huge exchange rate sign up on the wall. We got an early check in which was great. Rooms were clean and spacious for our family of 3. We got a baby cot in the room on request. Rooms need coffee machines. Drinking water was not replenished until requested. Good location as you are 20 min walk from the historical centre. A few good restaurants located in the same street, walking distance from the hotel.

I like the location of the property. The hotel is near downtown, stores, restaurants, and access to public transportation. The food was amazing, and the restaurant staff were so friendly and went out of their way to provide the best service. The cons about this location was housekeeping, the service wasn't great. The towels were ripped and shredding. Get one of the back rooms if you don't like noise, there is a bar across the street that will keep you up Friday and Saturday night.

I recently stayed at this hotel during my trip to Mexico and had an overall pleasant experience. The staff was friendly, the location convenient, and the room was clean and well-maintained. My only small complaints were that the towels provided were quite rough, and there were no washcloths available. The bed was also a little firm for my liking. That said, these were minor issues in an otherwise comfortable stay. I’d consider staying here again.

The staff was very friendly and the VIP parking service was great. I highly recommend the drinks on the Los Canarios restaurant bar located on the second floor. Also, the panoramic view of the city from the 18th floor was beautiful.

This is the second time staying at this property and I could not be happier, I get treated like a princess THANK YOU! Upon arrival, we got an upgrade room without extra cost. When I walked into the room, I found a cake waiting for me and fruit. Thank you. The rooms are big and so are the bathrooms. Everything was working in perfect conditions. The food is fabulous, I enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning, although I think is a bit expensive, $350.00 pesos per person. The options in the buffet vary most mornings, and of course sometimes is better than others, but overall good breakfast and options. The staff bends backwards to ensure that our stayed was as pleasant as possible THANK YOU SUSSI in the front and Mauro R. in the restaurant and everyone else, THANK YOU THANK YOU! Top Hotel. Very modern. Super helpful staff, especially Annaid who helped with the Covid tests at the hotel and other requests. Great breakfast buffet at reasonable cost. Nice bar with outside seating and a roof top terrace for cigar smoking. Great location near a beautiful park and shopping, but not near Centro Historico. We got a great deal and I would stay there again.

The junior suite was larger than expected and allowed us to spread out. and relax in style after a busy week. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even providing us with food at 4am, and resolving all our issues very quickly. The welcome platter was unexpected and was a superb touch by the hotel. The bathroom in general was spacious, clean and very sleek. The bath robes were comfortable. Location was really good and our view of the city was exquisite.

The staff is wonderful, special shoutout to Roberto from the restaurant! The breakfast is amazing, so is the service. We ended up coming back for 2 extra nights, since the service and the staff was incredible. Loved the gym too, the view from the room, everything! Ana, the receptionist, was helpful too! We got a private room on the lovely manicured garden side. There is an incredible kitchen with large living room across the garden area if you wish to cook. The ‘tucked in’ hotel with no outside sign is half a block from main road and one block from busy Constitution. Quiet, clean and comfortable beds. Would return to this charming little hotel. It also has limited parking with secure steel doors that could be noisy for late arrivals.

Nice hostel. Rooms have their own private bathrooms. Kitchen area is convenient that gives the option to cook your own meals.

Solo al irme mi autobus salia a las 7 de la mañana y apesar que le hice saber a la recepcionista que me iba a or como a ñas 5:30 am no habia nadie en recepcion no encontre a nadie sali a timbrar varias veces, estuve alzando la voz diciendo Buenos días y nadie salio llame al telefono qie mandaron al hacer la reservacion y nadie contestó todavia desde la central de autobuses trate de comunicarme para decir que la llave la había dejado dentro de la habitación asumiendo qie tenían copia y tampoco nadie respondio. Ese fue el unico detallle

Excelente lugar,la verdad me encanto¡ yo habia reservado solo para mi y al final invite a toda mi familia y amaron el lugar...muy comodo,limpio y de fácil acceso. Las chicas q estan en recepción muy amables y atentas. Lo unico que no nos gusto fue que habia hospedado una familia de inmigrantes y hacian mal uso de la cocina y nos ponian cara al querer todo para ellos solos, cuándo deben de entender que son áreas compartidas no saben respetar eso,además que tenían dos perros dentro de la habitación y lo sacaban al jardín a hacer sus necesidades y no limpiaban. Salvo por esos detalles todo excelentemente bien, será mi próximo nuevo lugar favorito y espero que ya no les permitan la llegada a ese tipo de personas que que la verdad solo denigran el lugar y espantan a la gente.

Buena experiencia. Hay que tomar en cuenta de que se trata de un hotel/posada en donde no todo el tiempo hay personal y no cuenta con servicio de lavandería. Cuenta con una cocina compartida entre los inquilinos y una estancia común con TV. Se encuentra a unas cuantas casas de la Alameda y a un par de cuadras del centro (Muy cerca al Museo Nacional de la Máscara). Solo tuvimos un incidente: sin agua caliente una mañana durante 1 hora y media (Pero solo un dia). Si buscas una estancia sencilla con bajo costo, el Hotel San José es muy buena opcion.

This hotel was in a perfect place, safely located near a local mall. It was clean and they served a great breakfast every morning. The breakfast that was provided was Continental. The choices were coffee/tea and bread/fresh fruit. The wait staff was some of the best I’d ever had. We had a group of 10 people and we stayed a week. They remembered our orders and were quick to make anything right.

This hotel is very upscale. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a nice view. The only complaint was that the internet service in the room was not good. There was secure underground parking. There is a restaurant in the hotel. We chose this hotel as it is close to the new quota. We would return.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was a bit disorganized, service could be slow, and the food was good but not excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Everything but the best part is the great location. Comfortable and clean room and just steps from good restaurants. We felt very safe walking around this neighborhood.

The hotel is close to plenty of restaurants, a beautiful park, and a 15 minute walk to the historic center. The manager, Salvador, was fantastic in helping me with my questions about places to go, even assisting me with tour contacts for my next destination! The bed was super comfortable, and the hot shower worked well. The room and the common areas are beautiful!

Great boutique hotel with comfortable and spacious rooms and a modern, relaxed atmosphere. Staff are extremely supportive and will go the last mile to support you. The made-to-order breakfast is very good. The location is very convenient being 2 blocks away from Aranzazu Plaza in the city center. Would definitely recomnend and would stay again on my next visit to San Luis Potosi!

The hotel seems to be an older property but very well kept. The rooms were nice and clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I didn’t forget anything but they did offer the essentials in case you did forget something so that was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful with answering questions about the area. I enjoyed my stayed at this hotel. It offers breakfast every morning, that was very convenient. It’s nice that they have a shuttle that will pick you up and take you to the airport. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Every morning during breakfast, Rocio part of the kitchen staff was very friendly and attentive.

My last visit was very comfortable because the hotel was very near to the place that I was going to visit. The check-in was smooth and fast, but the best thing is that they gave us sweets as a welcome. The room has a very comfortable bed and the best are the blackout courtains, you really can rest. The pool is very convenient to enjoy a sunny day with the family, especially if you go with children. They also have a lot of options for breakfast, and the taste of the food is very delicious. All the time the employees are looking for your comfort and they are very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay.

I really enjoyed the updated look of the hotel. It felt modern, clean, and high end. The outdoor pool was amazing I only wish it didn't close so early at 9pm. The rooms were modern and the beds were extremely comfy. The breakfast had more variety than what I expected. Overall, really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to my friends and family.

This hotel is quite possibly the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. It seems brand new. We arrived very late, after 11:30. The location shown on Google Maps is completely incorrect, so it took a while to finally find it. The Ramada was definitely worth the wait. Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. One woman stayed on the phone with me till I reached the place. The room was very spacious, decorated in a modern design that u would choose for myself. The bathroom was large and modern with a great shower. The bed was awesome. Breakfast was served to guests as a buffet and had everything fres and hot. Very good food for a buffet. If I ever win the lottery, I'm moving into this place!

I stayed at Encore during a business trip to SLP. the hotel is in a very industrial part of town but it's within a walking distance from few restaurants and an Oxxo convenience store. The hotel is very modern and the king suite I booked was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. I really liked the gym and the convenience of the breakfast bar and their hours. The only thing I didn't like is the fact they started playing music in the lobby and hallways at 6:00 a.m. but when I told the front desk staff they apologized and the music was not played early the next day. There is an airport shuttle available on site that you have to schedule with the front desk staff a day o 2 early. Overall it was a pleasant experience

Johan was an excellent waiter. Very attentive. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had the fajitas (beef and chicken) I had a margarita. At first I wasn't happy with it but it was refreshing and sneaks up on you, just like a margarita should. I wish I got the bar man's name. The hotel room was very clean and fresh. Wonder place to stay The receptionist were very kind and had delicious cold melon drink upon entry.

The hotel has a modern styling somewhat minimalistic and possibly cold to the initial view. The rooms were very clean and we'll appointed with a nice desk and good lighting, actually the bed was also very comfortable and the climate control was on target. They have a bar and kitchen that serves meals well into the night, good food and reasonable. The staff was also most helpful!

The hotel Was very clean and comfortable with a cooked to order delicious egg breakfast. The only things i would suggest are that the hotel use unscented cleaning agents (it smells very artificial theoughout the building and unpleasant) and leave coffee and more water in the rooms

Hotel lost electricity several times - it appears there is a backup generator that turns electricity back on within seconds, but still inconvenient. Location - getting to hotel forces you to drive a mile past hotel, make a u-turn, thend drive the mile back into hotel. Overall, good experience, would consider going back.

I’ve actually already stayed here before when it was Smart Suites EBH. Just a tip if you take a taxi from the airport I would give them the old name since it was renamed TRYP and they aren’t familiar with the new name they won’t know the hotel. Also if you use Uber Smart Suites comes up if you want to be dropped off or picked up here just FYI. The hotel is modern and up to date, it’s clean, staff is friendly, and the food is pretty good and juices. It is next to a factory so you may hear trucks outside, and the walls are pretty thin you can hear people walking in the hallway. If you want a nice comfy clean bed and room I recommend staying here. There’s also a PEMEX gas station next door if you need snacks.

The hotel was beautiful. Both my rooms looked like they were newly renovated. Fresh paint and bath fixtures. The was an exceptional employee named Eder who worked as the host in the hotels restaurant. He was very efficient and friendly.

The staff was friendly and welcoming - there is a nice bar and restaurant onsite. The room was lovely - very nice stay. Would return if in the city again. The Museo Lenora Carrington is worth a visit if you come to town.

Great value and location. The area was surrounded by shops, restaurants. Short walk to most historic sites and monuments. Our 9th floor room looked over the street below and the Plaza Fundadores. Fast elevators. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Decent-sized, clean room. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom and shower. The room looked like it had been remodeled in the last few years. The pictures here on TA are old. The beds were covered by white duvets with purple sashes. The floor was a grey faux wood, and the bathroom had a tiled shower and respectable sink counter. Parking is free in the garage next to the hotel. We only stayed one night, so we did not see any of the other amenities, nor did we eat in the restaurant. The Wi-Fi was weak/ intermittent, I thought it was a great find in SLP. Comfortable and centrally located. Priced lower than its worth. I would stay here again.

The hotel is located right in the center of the city. Very convenient to walk around. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, shops, churches. We got a room with a beautiful city view. The restaurant on top has a fantastic panoramic view, unfortunately it's operating only temporarily since there is a renovation of the mezzanine going on right now. A few steps away there is a building.Centro de la Mujer. You can find lots of small gold, silver and other jewelry booths. On the second floor lots of booths where they fix your nails for ridicule prices, from 100 to 200 pesos. ( 5 to 10 Dlls.) Across the hotel there is a store with nice embroidered blouses, dresses and jackets plus lots of other things like jewelry, tablecloths, etc. I'll recommend this hotel for it's convenience .

As a family of 4, this hotel was perfect for us! The hotel was very clean, beautiful & very accommodating. Service alone won us. The staff was super helpful, going out of their way to make things easier for us & just provide amazing service. The only issue we had was we were placed in a room that the roof was leaking, we were moved immediately once we brought it to their attention but that was the only negative we experienced. This hotel was remodeled. The pool was on the terrace & came with amazing views, my kids loved it. The weekend breakfast buffet had limited options but they were all really delicious. The location was another plus for us, we could walk in any direction & be in a location we could shop, eat at really nice restaurants, see historic cathedrals, see amazing architecture. We did rent a car & parked our rental in the parking garage that is used for this hotel. It was about a block away but the hotel staff & garage staff made sure we had a spot, would park the car for us & pull it out for us, if it was late at night they would walk with us to make sure we go there safe unbothered. If it was after 9 we would have to notify the hotel we were coming but someone was always there to open the gate or close it after us. Would definitely stay again!

This property is located in the heart of San Luis Potosi near many touist attractions, shops, and restaurants. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The interior of the building was a combination of what I can tell was the previous use combined with the current layout giving it a contemporay yet older design. The roof top is located at the 7th floor which has a pool and an amazing view of the sorrounding are. On the 5th floor there is also an open top terrece with offers a light up and wonderful view as well. The hotel also features a hotel which has one of the most amazing breakfast's I've ever had. The arroz con leche was my favorite! The room service was excellent and the gentlenmen were worthy of an excellent tip. The only downside was that parking was located 2 or 3 blocks down but it was a short 3 to 5 minute walk and by no means a deal breaker. The parking was a reasonable amount per day compared to USA prices. Overall, this hotel was amazing and worth the money. I will definitely consider staying here in the future.

A remarkable hotel in a prime location. My family and I absolutely loved our 8 day stay here. It’s a beautiful hotel with beautiful views from the terrace of the city center. My kids enjoyed the heated pool during the day and night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves delicious food including a morning buffet. Everything is walking distance from shops, restaurants and cafes. I would love to stay here again in the future!

This is a beautiful renovated hotel. The pool areal has an amazing view of the city. It’s clean and the pretty plants give it a homey feel to it. The gym is also very clean. My room was huge. I got it with a balcony view so I could get a breeze, but I couldn’t open the balcony window. The only thing I didn’t like was I ordered room service and the food was completely cold. Not even warm, like it had been sitting there. It took an hour to get our food but the chef did say they were understaffed. It would also be nice if they offered cribs for infants! Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The property is almost new, great facilities, walking distance to centro histórico. We ate at their restaurant and they have good portions and tasty food. The staff is outstanding, specially the bell boys and door men, they go out of their way to keep you comfortable, provided directions and even walk you half way to destination around the hotel to show you where restaurants are located. Our room was regular size, nothing too spacious. However, the beds and bedding were comfortable and cozy. Great stay.

The hotel is well located in old town, so plenty of restaurants around. Had breakfast outside once and used restaurant on premise once. Brekafast was 200MEX, and was decent, buffet style, with some mexican offerings (chilaquiles, some rolls, frijoles,etc) and american (eggs, pancakes, etc). They do have a bicycle for rent which i did not opt to use.They also have a small gym with oldish equipment. No pool. Good option if you want to be close to the attractions.

Visited from Houston, Location Location Location..! I have a huge range of options with bigger, newer, modern, but location is priceless..! I don’t have a budget in hotel, but I couldn’t stay anywhere else, I could just walk out and experience the Historical Town on my finger tips without driving anywhere, other luxury hotels have the highway right outside of the hotel which is not appealing! The Staff from Housekeeping to front desk are so gracious and attentive..! Thanks for treating me so well, specially when I came this time for a surgery here in SLP and I felt safe and taken care of! Just one request..! Need a full size MIRRORS in the room..! That’s all..! I filled up the suggestions slip!

I’ve stayed here several times over the years. It is such a good location with plazas and a major market area and lots of shops near by. Always felt safe and staff if attentive and friendly. Cabs are easy to get often in front of the hotel and certainly a block down on a busy intersection. Rooms are clean and water pressure is awesome. Having a cafe down stairs helps too since our kids are always hungry.

Wonderful big breakfast at fair price, great friendly kitchen and desk staff, ideal location. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Our only small disappointment was that there is no roof patio for our cocktail hour. The roof patio pictured in the hotel photos is for a private suite on the top floor. But we could have used the lobby which is very nice and interesting.

The attached restaurant is good too and they serve nice breakfast lunch and dinner. If you are too lazy to even walk to the restaurant, you can order by phone and they deliver it to your room as well. Overall descent experience abt 2.5-3 star experience compared to American standards.

A nice hotel in the common hotel area. Sumptuous breakfast buffet including omelet station, but mediocre coffee. Small fitness center, smallish outdoor swimming pool Spacious room, bathroom with tub and for once a shower curtain which works avoiding flooding after a shower.

We paid for filling, tasty breakfast with very good, friendly service. Just a 1 day stay between cities. Comfortable room, quiet. No refrig in room, seems normal. Can walk or drive to stores, restaurants.

Just got back from my 2nd stay here in 2 months. Unlike most Mexican hotels, this hotel is very reminiscent of a US chain (I think it might be American owned?). Wall to wall carpet, bathtub, and an overall feel of something like a Ramada, but at a fraction of the cost. Very clean both in the room and the rest of the hotel. The restaurant serves good food and is reasonably priced. Granted, I am in the habit of tipping US-style, but the service was absolutely excellent! All the staff were very accommodating, but Jennifer would go above and beyond for both of my stays! I might avoid the laundry service unless absolutely necessary, as it is quite pricy, especially with the surprise "taxes" that appear come time to pay. There are likely similar services close by in town for much less. All in all, a perfect stay for an unbelievably low price!! I will definitely stay here again when in San Luis.

Like this hotel it's in the middle of the the downtown area so your in walking distance of all of the stores and sightseeing areas. This hotel is decent and economical so if your looking to stay a few days and not spend too much money this is the place for you. The rooms are clean the only thing is the carpets are filthy, but if you just wear sandals while your in the room your fine. Staff comes in everyday to change bed sheets, give clean towels, and clean the restrooms very well. Hotel has restaurant, elevator, gym, wifi, room service, and all staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you looking for a really nice fancy five star hotel, then this place is not for you, there are other hotels in the downtown area that you may prefer better like the Panorama, but if you looking for budget friendly hotel that is comfortable and decent, then I would pick the hotel Napoles. I would definitely stay at this location again

Have stayed here before and for the most part I enjoy my stay. The hotel has changed some personnel, but the cleaning ladies are always very friendly and helpful. Front desk is a different story. You can't request an extended stay past noon because you're told you have to pay another day, which before wssnt a problem staying until 1:PM. Our plane departure time was 9:PM.The front desk girl could be more professional and helpful.

The forth floor has a great view of the cathedral around and in front of the hotel. The view from the window was great

Didn't have a car this time but it is convenient when needed in a congested area. Hotel staff, incl restaurant & cleaning ladies are great! Will stay here again. My only complaint was a noisy neighbor having to watch TV in the middle of the night, volume at full blast.

Hotel Napoles is in a wonderful location within walking distance of anything you could desire to include markets, historic beautiful churches, 3 museums to include the Ferro carril and laundry service. The staff was very helpful & cordial. It was unfortunate that the elevator broke while we were there. I'm sure the will repair it promptly.

Our room had a fantastic view of the park and lake, and the view from the rooftop area was even more spectacular. Our room was small but new and clean with a nice bathroom. We liked the free breakfast buffet. No coffee in the room but I refilled my cup several times at the buffet. For 1100 pesos with tax I thought that it was a great deal, and I'd be happy to stay here again.

The property was very nice, clean with a very profesional staff. There was an in hotel restaurant with served breakfast as well as food in the afternoons. The food was very good with alternating variety every morning. The weight room on the 6th floor was nice with a view of the city. The roof top pool was amazing with a beaitiful view. There were so many stores, restaurants and the beautiful and massive sized Tamgamanga park nearby.

I liked a lot the comfort of the bed, the cleanliness, and comfort on the room in general. It is a good hotel on a great location (fast access to restaurants, bars, malls). What I didn't like it too much was the parking lot, we had a pick up so it was a little bit hard to find a place to parking (even to enter to the parking lot). Another comment is that almost in every hotel they offer unlimited coffee for the whole day. This was not the case, the hotel only offers coffe during the breakfast hour. If you want coffee outside that hours you have to buy it (it cost 45MXN for a small cup).

It was a very pleasant stay, me and my wife enjoyed all the amenities, specifically the warm water rooftop pool! Great breakfast! Very convenient walkable distance to restaurants nearby

The "free" breakfast is pretty lame, but we were pleased with our breakfast-for-purchase. Decent variety offered, between 40 (hot cakes) and 60 pesos (egg choices). Will definitely stay there again.

My Expedia reservation was not in their system when we arrived but the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, taking the time to find me a room right away. Really appreciated that our cats could stay with us for a very reasonable fee too. Breakfast was delicious as well!

We were very happy with the Zar Hotel. I was delighted to see the cleanliness, and appealing decor. The location was excellent for us, right off the highway. Easy off, easy on. The water in the shower was great both with heat and pressure. Shampoo and a bar soap was provided. Our pillows were on the flat side, I have to say. The "free" breakfast was not sufficient, but they have nice menu selections, including hot cakes, waffles, eggs, etc. (opens at 7am)

This was an inexpensive stay right off the SLP bypass around town. Fine for our purposes of a quick overnight stop, but it is out in an industrial area. The property was having problems with locks and room keys during our stay, so the desk clerk had to let you into your room each time you closed the door behind you. Overall the staff was friendly, the rooms were basic but very clean. Well lit parking lot and night-time security. Negatives were never had hot water, WiFi was quite slow and there is no elevator in this property.

The property's location cannot be better, get off at the bus station (Central de Autobuses SLP, luxury buses and well built, clean & secure bus station) walk 50 yards (same side of the street) & you are at the wonderful Hotel Real de Minas. This property is very near to historic downtown flourishing with colonial architecture, Cultural Capital of the Americas. You can get to downtown easily due to free transportation, provided by the City Government via a modern age high quality city buses which gives the Hotel a plus. The rooms are spacious, air conditioner & heating. Swimming pool is perfect to enjoy & relax. Rates are acceptable.

I left my phone in a taxi & was helped by Omar at the counter. Rodolfo at the bar/restaurant was also very nice and attentive, even Juan Carlos, the parking attendant, was helpful providing words of encouragement. The ladies in the morning went through the security cameras and found the taxi number for me. Great effort by everyone!! Thank you. Much appreciated!

This is a well-placed hotel for families traveling north or south in north-central Mexico. The facilities are always good, the pool and grounds well maintained, and the food and restaurant service are excellent. In addition, the hotel has well watched inside parking. It is also reasonable priced.

Charming hotel in San Luis Potosi. Only stayed one night and checked out early for our flight. I would consider staying again when I visit. Booked last minute and front desk was helpful. I did notice there was a pool. They beds were comfortable.

This was a great place to stay if you have time to find it, and arrive early enough to find someplace open to eat. We were traveling and it was not so convenient to find on the way on and off the main road. It's in an industrial park with some restaurants and a convenience store but they were closed when we arrived. The hotel has a restaurant of sorts on premises but it was commercial tortillas and cheese and they close early too. The beds and showers and towels were all very comfortable and good service, and free parking with guards.

Very comfortable, great place, BUT there are no convenient restaurants, and the hotel food is mediocre. There are some new restaurants opening nearby soon. Also - Important to know - Google maps will not get you here. You must enter the hotel address into your gps, or you will never find it.

Quiet room with a cute little terrace. Host was amicable and available for any question. It is well located a few blocks off the center and easy to walk around. Good shower and quiet at night.

Really nice and clean bedroom and terrace. Good parking just in front. Really comfortable mattress. All interaction had been done via WhatsApp, all needed info shared.

It's my second Hotel One experience and it was basically the same: clean, basic, new, includes breakfast and noisy rooms. The advantage of this kind of hotel is that they're affordable and simply does the job for a few days stay. It is in the Industrial Area, so if you're going on a business trip, this is it. Rooms are noisy though, I could hear all night as if there was a swimming pool upstairs. I like the breakfast part, it's not luxurious but it will get you through your morning withough being just bread and coffee. If the staff could fix the noisy room part, it could be perfect. If you wish to visit centre it is only an 8 min drive and costs $40MXN, quite cheap. It also has free Wi-Fi, which is very important for me (I'm the kind of person that would never go back to a hotel that has an extra cost for Wi-Fi).

The room was comfortable. Moved here from City Express which had a hard bed. This bed was comfortable, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was good. We also washed a load of clothes, which is free, but the dryer is slow. The staff was excellent! They were so helpful with questions about the area and anything else we needed. I liked this hotel much better than many I have stayed in for triple the price.

This hotel is the express version of the Fiesta Inn chain. The discount rooms may be very small but all all neatly arranged and comfortable. This time I stayed in an upper floor room. It was great, comfortable bed, clean, bath room small but very well designed with marble floors. The morning breakfast is very adequate with several food selections, waffles, fruit and of course coffee and several different juices. You can get a bargain if you look around but this hotel is often at capacity used by the Mexican business travelers. It is conveniently located near the San Luis Bus Terminal.

This is a very nice hotel very close to the main bus station, on the other side of a busy road. It is set back a ways and so is very quiet. The included breakfast has a wide variety of food and can be very filling. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, though the Fiesta Inn next door does, and its menu is inside the room. Other more moderate priced places to eat close are hard to find. The internet is fast and the in-room flat screen TV is very large. There is a dispenser of shampoo and bath gel in the nice shower. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay.

this is a great hotel if u only need a place for sleeping and breakfast! what i like about this hotel is that the floors are hardwood; therefore there is no musty odor; beds are comfortable; theres great lighting; whether natural or room lighting; their breakfast has great presentation and is very delicious; they have a great bilingual staff! and of course you can beat free wi-fi at all times!
