Spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm cabins with lovely hot-tub and jacuzzi. Very helpful English speaking staff. Really good choice of food for breakfast. We also had dinner on both evenings and the choice was very good and tasty.

Everything was perfect! Very nice and cosy place to relax after all day walking in the mountains. Sauna and jacuzzi are great idea specifically in rainy and cold days.

A Perfect Retreat with Stunning Scenery - 5 Stars! An absolute gem! The location is peaceful with breathtaking scenery, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The accommodation was spotless, and the hot tub and sauna were a real treat. Loved the convenience of the bar just a few meters away, and the restaurant served tasty, fresh food with a great variety. Wi-Fi worked smoothly for all four of us. Highly recommend this place for a memorable stay! 5 stars!

Great location - the glamping cabins were nicely tucked away in the forest, but close to the hotel (breakfast, dinner) and Bled. The cabin itself was very cosy and the hot tub was amazing. Extra plus for the sauna that could be used as well (pool was closed in October). Big variety at breakfast (incl. gluten free and vegan corner) and possibility for buffet dinner at the hotel restaurant (26€, many different options, good food). Very friendly and helpful staff members. Overall great concept (small hotel, glamping and bigger cabins).

We stayed in one of the tree houses with a hot tub, the main reason we chose this spot. The treehouse itself is very small but comfortable with bunk beds that are quite wide, plenty of room for two adults. While it's tight inside, the space was used well and it was nice that there was a table we could use while it was cold outside. The hot tub was the best part though, it's not hot hot but warm so it was just perfect. It feels quite private, the area is only for those who have a tree house. The bathroom is separate, but it is only for your party and was kept vert clean. The hotel offers a lot of advice on hiking and cycling, with rentals right there, though we didn't rent. The breakfast buffet is excellent! We opted for the dinner buffet a couple of evenings and it was also very good, with lots of choices for many types of diets. We would definitely come back to this spot, they have so much to offer!

We loved our Glamping treehouse. We felt like we were up in the trees ourselves! It is very tranquil. The hot tub was such a great addition, we used it everyday and found it so relaxing. We particularly enjoyed taking time in the mornings to enjoy a soak in the tub before enjoying breakfast on the terrace. It was so quiet and beautiful. The breakfasts were great! Lots to choose from! We looked forward to it each day and the terrace is a very lovely setting. We really enjoyed being able to cycle to and from from Bled. You really felt like you were getting away from the crowds when you returned to Ribno and the scenery is simply breathtaking. Everything about Ribno Alpine resort is very special. So much thought and care has been put into this place. Thank you for a truly wonderful holiday.

The suite upstairs is amazing. With the luxury added by the jacuzzi and sauna the apartment is just perfect. Also, the breakfast, smart room and staff were amazing. Every day the nice staff tried to help us as much as possible so we will get the best vacation possible.

All the staff of the Aparthotel were all very professional and friendly. On the left, a view of lake Bled and Castle on the right, the Julian Alps. The apartment is very large and spacious, very tastefully decorated and comfortable, so too were the beds.. All areas of the apartment were spotless clean. The breakfast was exceptional and was delivered to your room. .we will return with family and friends. Highly recommend. Exceptional value for money.

We had a truly lovely experience at Hotel Gaja. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic – delicious, varied, and more than generous. It was the perfect way to start each day! What made the stay even more special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel right at home. We wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Gaja to anyone looking for a cozy, well-kept place with excellent service and a great breakfast. We will definitely be coming back!

The location was central, easy walk to the lake, restaurants, and bus station. The staff was wonderful! Everyone we encountered during our stay was friendly and welcoming. Tjas was especially helpful when we had a minor accident and also assisted to resolve our power converter issue. The breakfast as mentioned by other reviews was amazing and delicious! The one bedroom apartment we stayed was clean and comfortable. We are so happy to have chosen to stay here and highly recommend!

This was a splurge for us but after traveling together for four weeks, it was needed. We slept like logs in the two spacious bedrooms with king-size beds. The living space and bathroom were equally spacious and comfortable. The breakfast that was included and delivered to our room every day was surprising in its volume, but we took advantage of the extra to snack on during the day or requested they bring less. It was glorious to be able to wake up just in time to dine in our room. Another food perk was the arrangement Gaja has with nearby Central Restaurant, 3 courses for €20 for guests. Parking was included. The location was an easy walk to the lake. We enjoyed the balcony though our view was not of the mountains, saw them from my bedroom window. The staff was easily accessible and helpful. Tjaš greeted us upon arrival and shared information about the area, making suggestions when we found out Vintgar Gorge was closed. Katarina was another staff member we interacted with daily, answering questions and bringing piles of food. Gaja was a delightful splurge in a delightful place!

We stayed at Aparthotel Gaja for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. From the time of checked in everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Everything in the apartment looked freshly updated and extremely clean. What made our stay even more memorable was the excellent breakfast delivered to our room upon request. There was great variety of fresh and home made food. The location was a two minute walk from the lake and we had a view of bled castle and the lake from our unit. We would highly recommend this place.

A charming hotel in a lovely location, just a short walk from the lake. The garden is beautiful and well-maintained, and every evening they light a cozy bonfire. The room is spacious, and there’s a small, pleasant spa with a little jacuzzi pool.

Is a really cool chic hotel where the design is well thought. The room unfortunately if they have a day curtain will be much better. I've to close it all the time as it only has a blackout curtain else I'll be exposed. Bathroom is quite small but easy to function. They did not provide body lotion which will be great if they do. Some rooms have a bike and sand-bag weights - put it in request if you would like these exercise equipment in the room! Spa area needs to book and only outdoor jacuzzi you can wear your swim wear else the steam and sauna are compulsory naked :) Breakfast spread is beautifully spread out though their cakes section are not very delicious. Only brownie taste good. Location is great as it is near many resto just walking distance. Worth coming to check this place out!

Dinner at the restaurant was lovely, and the breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of fresh, high-quality options. The spa facilities were another highlight, offering a peaceful atmosphere even during quieter times of the season. The only part of the stay that fell a bit short was the check-in experience. While the staff were polite and professional, a few interactions felt a bit perfunctory, as though the team was understandably winding down after a busy tourist season. I also wasn’t offered help with my luggage until it was clear I was struggling with the trolley, which took away a bit from the otherwise warm impression the property gives. Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its relaxing spa, excellent food, and comfortable rooms—perfect for a restful getaway.

Incredible stay at this (i am guessing) newly (re)built or remodelled hotel! Every detail of the design is perfect—everything looks brand new and beautifully thought out. The spa facilities were spotless and so relaxing. Both breakfast and dinner were highlights, with delicious dishes prepared from fresh, local ingredients that made each meal feel special and authentic. The staff was super friendly and polite, always ready to help with a smile. We could even choose the mattress softness and pick from a menu of pillows, making the stay extra comfortable and personalized. Highly recommend this place for a luxurious, welcoming experience with a local touch!

We enjoyed this hotel very much!! Many amenities you don’t find in most hotels at this price. The perfectly heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, dry sauna, steam room, slippers, cozy bathrobes, hot pot with tea bags & coffee in room, all included in the price. We had very comfortable beds & pillows. Our room had a deck with a view to the castle. The water pressure in the shower is the best thing ever!! Breakfast buffet was very good & the options were changed daily. This time of year the air conditioning was turned off for the cooler season ahead. We are used to sleeping in a colder room at night & when we complained to the front desk person, he took care of it & gave us a fan which was perfect! We slept great & we were there a total of 4 nights. The location is just steps from the lake & many restaurants!! The property is not a modern, newly renovated building, so don’t expect what you would get for a 4 or 5 star hotel in the USA, but so many of the amenities I listed above make up for this. The man at the front desk will work hard to make you happy!!

The location was great, and I was upgraded to a room with a lake view and balcony with seating. It is very central to everything. The room had a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good and not too busy. The pool looked good, although I didn't use it.

Incredible views of mountains from bedroom, quiet bedroom, wonderful facilities with saunas, swimming pools, jacuzzi bath, bowling, table tennis, fantastic food especially catered for us brilliantly as we have a few intolerances - gluten and egg free and vegetarian didn’t stop us having 4 course dinners! Amazing. WiFi was great, we watched a movie one night on our laptop. Fantastic staff. Perfect for our family of 4. Would absolutely stay here again. 100% recommend.

Ultra large hotel set in beautifully manicured garden. Immaculately clean & very spacious rooms (we had booked 2). An easy 5 minute walk to small village centre. Very helpful & friendly receptionists. On check in, we were advised of a voucher to attend the aqua centre for 3 hours, so a very relaxing time was enjoyed at the sauna facilities, also very clean! A dinner buffet at a very reasonable price was available; however we opted for a cosier small local spot in the village which was perfect. The breakfast buffet was exceptional.

From the moment we checked in everything was amazing. We asked for a quite room and were given an end of corridor room overlooking the local church and mountains. The room itself was spotless with a balcony, walk in shower, desk, chairs and tv. The selection for buffet breakfast was very varied and suited every taste. The dining room was very large and bright. Plenty of staff on hand at all times. Access to the leisure centre/aqua park was easy and the facilities were great. There were loads of lockers available, dressing rooms and showers. The indoor section of the aqua park was great for kids but we preferred to be outside. The large pool here was heated and never too busy. We were always able to find sun loungers or chairs. There was a little cafe that served light snacks, Drinks and ice cream. We had dinner in the hotel 3 out of 7 nights and were very happy withe the selection available and the quality of the food. There was always a good choice of dishes with vegetarian options also available. There are also a number of restaurants in the village and in the surrounding area.

Very good location, spacious rooms, diversified and tasty breakfast and dinner, fun for kids—- aqua park, bowling, ping pong… Easy drives to Lake Bohinj, Bled and Vintgar. We were a three generation family party of 11 and were assigned a reserved table in the dining room. We requested, and received, special portions of side plates for the kids every evening. Not the most modern hotel, but clean and well kept - so that was not a significant parameter for us. Service is good, often rendered with a smile, sometimes a bit formally- correct. But why charge for any and all drinks at dinner and for an 11:30 AM checkout?

We stayed a room with Jacuzzi. This was so nice. I wanted to stay longer in the summer season so that we can enjoy BBQ, relaxing, etc.

The hosts welcomed us on arrival, with instructions, maps, keys and an umbrella to borrow (a special thank you for that!). We had their Whatsapp contact number for any questions. We lived in a quiet village at a 10-min walking distance to the Lake Bohinj. The village is very modern, with a few shops and restaurants, boat hire, walking trails all around, polite locals. I was thrilled to find gluten-free food products on offer at the local shop. The apartment made us feel at home: warm, light, sound-proof rooms; kitchen packed with appliances; balcony with chairs to enjoy a morning cappa and two friendly cats who came to say hello; excellent wi-fi. Our windows overlooked a green valley with gorgeous mountain tops in the background. We had such a relaxing, outdoorsy holiday. Ah, if only our vacation were a few days longer!

The accommodation is awesome! Apartment is spacious, cosy, and well-equipped! The care and attention to details show the owners' thoughtfulness and effort to make sure our stay is wonderful. Sasa is super friendly and helpful! Accommodation is well positioned too, with a grocery shop and restaurant nearby, and walkable to the Mostnica gorge. Wish we had more days here!

We spent two nights at Vila Kljuce from October 7th to 9th, conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Lake Bled. The place is quiet, and we opted for an apartment with a lovely garden view. The self-check-in process was easy, as we accessed the keys through a key box, and the check-out experience was just as smooth. There’s free parking available for all guests, with a spacious and comfortable lot. The apartment was very clean and nicely equipped, though the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was a bit slow. However, there was a large TV and tea and coffee provided. In the garden, there’s a playground for kids, which is a nice touch even though we didn’t use it. I found the price to be excellent for what we received. Additionally, I had good communication with the host, who was quick to respond and very helpful. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a central location in Bled

The apartment was perfect, it was clean and very comfortable, especially the pillows. We had a perfect view from our terrace. The bathroom was very clean and spacious, and had everything. In the living room we were met with coffee and tea as well as a wine bottle. And if you like watching TV, it had every imaginable channel you could think of from sports to cartoons to movies.

Modern facilities very large apartment for a family, in a periodic building very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony for outdoor seating with mountain views. The location was fantastic 10min walk to Lake bled (with a toddler) plenty of shops to enjoy and restaurants nearby. We have been travelling on a road trip for 3 weeks, first time visiting this country and the people are very kind they bring their hospitality to you and make you feel very welcome, I wasn’t ready to leave and I know I will be returning with my family to this safe clean and pleasant country.

Parking on site. - It looks the same as pictured and matches the descriptions. New and contemporary. Super clean and pretty spacious. Beds are comfortable. Full kitchen. - We love the big terrace and had a wonderful breakfast there. Ordered the breakfast box made of local produce per the flyer. 12 euro per person. Strongly recommend. - Left good memories here. I will stay here again if come back to Lake Bled.

Very easy self check-in, friendly "staff" who communicated and explained everything very well and very quickly. ( although they are not present in the Villa ) The vila itself was very clean when we arrived, very well equipped apartment with a nice castle view. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Beds were also very cosy. The villa is within 10 minutes walk from the lake, also very closed to supermarkets and restaurants and therefore has everything you need when staying in Bled. :) we will be looking forward to return to Bled, as the location is amazing and Vila Ključe will be our first choice if we ever come back! :) Highly recommend

It had a nice view. Beds were with old down pillows and blankets. We are allergic so the last night we finally asked for hypoallergenic and they obliged. I wanted a mani-pedi and couldn’t get as they were short staffed or something. The shower was weird. Had to hold the nozzle. The breakfasts were bad. The coffee in the included breakfast bad. The pool and jacuzzi was nice. I had a nice massage there

A lovely hotel with stunning views overlooking Lake Bled, Bled Island and Bled Castle. The room was clean and restful and had a small balcony for you to take in the views. The bed was comfortable and cosy. We particularly liked the little gift left for us, some delicious macaroons. There was free parking available at the side of the hotel, although it was on a first come/first served basis. The breakfast buffet was good, with lots of choice in both the hot and cold selections. The staff were lovely and really keen to ensure you had the best time in the hotel. On check out we were given some complimentary home made mixed fruit jam to take away, a really nice touch. Great hotel, would defiantly return.

Our stay at Hotel Kompas was enjoyable. We were fortunate to have a room with a view overlooking Lake Bled and the Castle—it was lovely to admire the scenery from the balcony. The room itself was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The hotel’s location is great. It’s just a short walk to everything—local shops, a wide variety of restaurants, and of course, Lake Bled itself. Breakfast at the hotel was nice. There was a wide selection of both hot and cold options, including fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and local specialties. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience at Hotel Kompas and would recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Bled.

The hotel is very good, with incredible views of stunning Lake Bled. I would encourage anyone to get a lake view room, it’s impossible to be bored of the view of the castle and lake. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was a great way to cool down, and the breakfast had plenty of choice. It is just a short few minutes stroll down to the lake, where there are plenty of good restaurants and bars. We also visited Vignter Gorge which I’d say is worth a visit, although can be very busy. Better as well earlier in the year to see the waterfalls, in summer they are drying up.

I stayed in the studio flat as a solo traveller but it would definitely be perfect for a couple! Has everything you need really (cooking hob, microwave, kettle and a few cooking utensils). The bed is VERY comfortable and a decent size. The area is so quiet which is perfect. The location is incredible too if you like cycling/hiking - it’s right next to the cycle path which takes you to loads of places, including Lake Bled if you’re feeling a long cycle ride. I did a 27km hike from this apartment and back and hardly had to use my map for directions because it was really well sign posted and the path is easy to follow. The people are so friendly too, as a solo traveller visiting Slovenia for the first time - I couldn’t have felt more comfortable.

We stayed in a comfortable apartment with a living room with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony. The house is cosy with a beautiful garden and nice places to sit outside. There is parking place available.

Amazing location, quiet and beautiful. The center and the Lake are easy to reach by car. The aparment was well equipped and clean. I would recommend it.

The room (is a mini studio with a small kitchen) is comfortable and the bed is fine. We didn't like the sheets, as they were from a "ruffle" material, a bit crispy and not soft on the skin. But maybe we have a sensitive skin. The initial communication and the key handling (it was open for us) was totally smooth. We had a private bathroom for us outside of the room and it was all very clean and sparkling. The accomodation was full that day and there were a lot of people going back and forth. After cooking a simple meal (the kitchen is equipped but not with lots and there are no basics at all, like a bit of salt or pepper, so bring your own) we tried to eat outside in the balcony but was already occupied and people were smoking, so not ideal for a meal. It felt a bit crammed. In general it was totally fine but I guess high season does not give you a lot of peace.

We absolutely loved our staying at Pension Cerkovnik! The place is dog friendly and the little one could come with us everywhere. Our host was lovely, easy to reach in case of any questions. At night it was wonderful to fall asleep listening the chirping of the crickets and the babbling of the stream. There is a restaurant at the property. The breakfast was pleasant with various options. We do not usually drink coffee in the morning but the 'white coffee' was that tasty that we could not skip any morning without drinking a mug of it. The location is excellent: 10 minutes walk from the main street of the Bohinj lake with a stunning view to the mountains, right on the bank of a stream, small river. You can easily reach the hiking trails to the mountains. We are planning to come back soon.

We loved the location - close to bus stops going any direction. The room was ok, quite small, but had amazing view from tiny balcony: mountains were at all their beauty. Down the building (down our balcony) there is outside restaurant, but after 10pm becomes quiet and doesn't disturb. Neighbour's were quiet at night. Breakfast was very simple, but ok.

We had a great time at Pension Cerkovnik. The host is kind, helpful, and responsive. The apartment was as described online, well equipped, and clean. Breakfast was good, with a selection of sweet and salty options. The location was perfect for us - tranquil, with private parking and a quiet driveway, just a few minutes from beautiful Bohinj Lake and a 10-minute drive from our favourite Vogel Ski Resort. The host also advised us to visit Pokljuka Ski Centre - a small, family ski centre at a beautiful location approximately a 30-minute drive from the pension - which was fantastic for us and our 2-year-old (for sledging and having fun on snow). Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Pension Cerkovnik and hope to return soon.

Cosy pension/apartment on the river with nice views. Great location, 5-10mins walk to the lake front centre & same to Stara Fusine. Quiet location, clean, comfy compact Apartmnt with car parking., we slept well & had a lovely included bfst.

We liked the location (10 min to the lake and 15min to Mercator store in Ribčev laz, cycling trail runs just next to it), the fact they have a bar/restaurant and parking. We enjoyed the new apartment. It has everything you need (kitchen, sofa, TV, big bed, big fridge). The host is very kind and available, with lots of experience and you can see they live for what they do. We enjoyed the breakfast (although small, there are at least two kinds of cheese and salami, various bread roll types, fresh vegetables, eggs, coffee and tea). Keep up the good work! We will certainly stop by again :) Thank you!
