Beautiful location and a great base to explore other areas from. Very comfortable room with a lovely outdoor area and jacuzzi. Nice selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in the room along with a good size fridge. Able to park directly outside lodge. Friendly staff on reception and bar.

The place itself was really nice.. set in lovely grounds.. and an outdoor heated area where they serve freshly made pizza to order and drinks.. outdoor play area for the kids.. and all staff were friendly and helpful.. room was a nice size with a jacuzzi bath.

The staff were so lovely and we got a fantastic deal in this beautiful place! We only got to stay one night but had the best time, the hotub was the icing on the cake.

What a wonderful location for exploring Snowdonia and Portmerion. We loved it. We took 2 teens to the Gatekeepers Lodge, and they loved the hottub and the bats. We slept like logs next to the stream . Extremely clean, modern, and homely. 20 min walk to the restraunt, well worth it for wonderful steak and staff. Very nice chap at breakfast, too.. 5 stars, can't recommend enough.

Stayed here for one night, it's a lovely quaint hotel, just on the outskirts of Betws-y-coed. The hotel is accessed down a private drive way and once you're there, it'd hard to believe the town is so close. There's free parking, WiFi, a well stocked bar area with a beautiful outdoor deck. We stayed in a superking size room. The room was decorated in a modern boutique style. Was spacious, had a clean private bathroom with separate bath and shower but the best part was the private balcony with a view of the river. Perfect for sitting out as the sun went down. Breakfast was included and they had a good selection of hot and cold offerings. I would happily recommend the place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by Michelle. We reserved one of the rooms with a hot tub and balcony and the view over the river was gorgeous. The room was comfortable and spacious. We had one dinner at the hotel plus an afternoon tea. All meals were delicious and we enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful lounge. There are lots of things to do nearby, including hikes, shopping, and adventures like the Rib River rides. Our favorite part of our stay would have to be the incredible hospitality. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, all the while respecting our privacy. We will definitely be back!

This hotel is like a little oasis, a peaceful place by a beautiful river where you can really recharge. The staff are so friendly and you immediately feel like you have known them for years. The view from our very comfortable room was just breathtaking and the sound of the river was so calming that we left the door open so we could listen to it all night. We visited places nearby, as Betws y coed is a great centre to travel out to lots of tourist destinations, but we made sure we came back mid afternoon so we could sit on the deck with a delicious drink, when it didn’t rain, and take in the gorgeous scenery. The hotel is lovely, with a fantastic conservatory restaurant right by the River Conwy, and the food is second to none that we have experienced anywhere. The chef created an exciting and imaginative menu, also using produce from the hotel kitchen gardens, and the menu evolved according to what was available. Not only were the dishes a feast for the eyes but the flavour combinations were sensational…..a real treat. The weather was varied but it did not matter, we had a lovely last minute holiday and I only wish we had booked for a longer stay. A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

What a wonderful place! The hotel is ideally located in beautiful grounds off the main road. It's just a few minutes walk to the shops or Pont Y Pair. We were given a warm and friendly greeting upon our arrival. Our dog was given a towel to dry off from the rain shower at check in. Our room was meticulously clean, light and spacious. There was even a dog welcome pack in the room, including bedding and dog snacks. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Evening meal menu covered all dietary choices. Please note guests with dogs eat in a separate part of the restaurant so there is minimum disruption to other guests, and hygiene is not compromised. Plenty of parking space on site. The views from the hotel are stunning. There is a tranquillity here that is hard to match. It's also closely situated to so many other sights including Swallow Falls, Fairy Glen and the Ugly House, which is anything but ugly. It's also just a short drive away from Bodnant Gardens for a day trip away. Would highly recommend and we are definitely booking a return trip.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Maenan Abbey Hotel and was absolutely blown away by the experience. The location is truly stunning, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Welsh countryside. The hotel itself is rich in period features, giving it a charming and authentic feel. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly, helpful, and pleasant host, who made sure every aspect of my stay was perfect. The room was huge, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. It was incredibly quiet, ensuring I had a great night's sleep on the most comfortable bed. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the food. I enjoyed a 5-star meal that was expertly prepared, followed by a freshly cooked-to-order breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, with a generous supply of traditional items that left me feeling thoroughly satisfied. The bathroom was luxurious, featuring a very powerful shower that was a delight to use. Ample parking was available, making my stay even more convenient. Though I originally came to the area for business, I am already planning to return with my family for a holiday. Maenan Abbey Hotel is a hidden gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Elen’s Castle Hotel proved to be the perfect place for a few days away in Wales. The Hotel was clean, tidy, Covid safe, welcoming and comfortable. The staff were very friendly! The food from the restaurant was amazing! There was a good choice and between us, a family of four and we ate there both nights we were there, every course was perfect! We will definitely be back - thank you!

Lovely location, with beautiful view of Snowdonia and close to other tourist attractions and towns. Spacious parking facility. Well decorated hotel, with nice little touches throughout. Welcoming bar, lounge and outdoor seating areas. Owners are very affable and the place is family friendly. English breakfast and evening dinner were very tasty. We stayed in the suite, and our son was thrilled as he had his own bedroom.

The last weekend we visited North Wales/Snowdonia/ Dolwyddelan.Our accomodation base was Elen's Castle Hotel. From where we set off to the Mouteins to Snowdon and the Waterfall Pistyll Rhaeadr. Elen's Castle Hotel is a family business with a long tradition.On site we met very nice and hospitable owners. We had 3 rooms and bath room.The rooms were very clean and cozy. The breakfast was very delicious. The coffee was excellent. The hotel is located on the main road A470 in a beautifull valley with wonderful views of the Mouteins,the River and Castle ruin. A beautifull place worth visiting.

The family room. Actually three rooms, with a shared shower room. Very comfortable and quiet. Great shower. Nice breakfast and meal. Great service. Cosy bar. Overnight car charging too, for a small fee. Easy parking and good location for south and north Snowdonia.

Beautiful lodge ,pet friendly but so clean and smelt lovely, complimentary bottle of bubbles , with tea/coffee/sugar etc left for you. Hot tub checked every day. Beds made up too. Staff on this park are so lovely, helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was delicious we had afternoon tea (huge) and Sunday lunch ! Other guests/owners were so friendly. Views are spectacular. Facilities are good , outdoor pool and small park for the little ones , I will say this is not like Butlins , it's a small park but my daughter is older and she loved it, it was quiet no rowdy families gorgeous to sit out in an evening and watch the sunset. Small area to walk the dog. Perfect location for exploring Barmouth literally 5 minutes in the car . Other Lovely dog friendly beaches within a 15 minute drive. This was such a perfect location for our weekend away, we will definitely be returning.

Nice quiet family site no kids entertainment or even music but has a lovely restaurant with a terrace overlooking pool and sea view. Very dog friendly. must book in advance for restaurant! You can access sunny sands arcades and entertainment for free and only down the road.Our caravan had a lovely view but no patio area like some of the others. Pool is heated. Very clean. Staff are lovely and friendly this is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we would stay again its just very expensive we paid £950 for 5 nights in a silver caravan if you get good weather its worth it . Spar shop nearby has a very decent butchers inside 👌

Our recent stay was exceptional, largely thanks to the outstanding staff who were among the most genuinely friendly and welcoming I've encountered. Every team member was engaging, attentive and consistently went the extra mile – nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was wonderful. Our group used two mobile homes (one pet-friendly, one with a hot tub) and both were spotlessly clean, feeling almost brand new. The beds and linens were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all slept well. While some beds were a bit short for the taller adults in our group, this is understandable for family-oriented accommodation and didn't detract from our comfort. The grounds were beautifully maintained and added to the magical, tranquil atmosphere of the park, with many thoughtful touches enhancing the vibe. Finally, the restaurant delivered outstanding food. Several members of our party enjoyed steaks cooked to perfection and other dishes were equally delightful, well-presented and generously portioned. The breakfast buffet was a feast, offering an excellent variety of hot and cold options that were frequently replenished. The best testament to our experience is that many in our group fell in love with the park and are already eager to return.

We didnt have breakfast as we had a self catered cabin, but we did have dinner at the restaurant. The dinning area is lovely and very ascetically pleasing. The food was great absolutely no complaints at all, the staff were super friendly and Helpful, especially Suman who was happy to chat to us about the local area, the site grounds and what it was like to live in Porthmadog. There was an online app where you can book your meals which was very easy to use and sends you reminders of your bookings. I would definitely recommend that you book in advance as it does get booked up early. Especially on the days they don't serve dinner on the terrace. Oh and the terrace had the most beautiful views, a totally stunning place. The cabin was the best of all, perfectly compact but with plenty of room for what we needed, excellently furbished and comfortable with the sounds of the gushing waterfalls near by. A real home from home, we loved it more than expected.

Set in a beautiful valley near to Porthmadog the site is very well kept and quiet. The hotel restaurant serves delicious food and the staff are friendly and helpful. My 2 person pod accommodation was comfortable and clean with a lovely veranda area to sit out and parking immediately adjacent. A compact kitchen has all the basics you need for self catering and the shower, although small, has good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The area is one of immense natural beauty with plenty to see and do.

The location is perfect as it is literally across the road from Beaumaris Castle. Check in via the bar. Rooms at the front (we had double room 4) have a castle view, rooms at the back have a sea view (we also had single room 3). Rooms are comfortable and clean with tea & coffee making and a TV, en suite bathroom with shower. There is a small bar with really reasonable prices that tends to be used by locals. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a lounge room at the rear where you can take your drinks and it has a TV and radio. There is a dining room, although the hotel does not do meals, where breakfast is served. Breakfast is continental only but was great with a choice of cereals, Wheatabix, museli, cornflakes, bran flakes etc, pain au chocolat, croissants, preserves and butter, yoghurts, fresh fruit, and toast to order. Lovely member of staff brings tea and toast and it's help yourself to coffee. In terms of parking, the hotel does not have it's own car park (Beaumaris is a very old town and was not designed for vehicles) but the Beaumaris Green car park is literally through an alley at the back (you can see it from the back rooms) and costs £6 for 24 hours. Motorhomes and campervans cannot stay overnight. Car park was busy and we couldn't park near the hotel end but the attendant advised us to move the car to where we wanted when it was quieter later, which we did.

Very happy with my stay in Castle Court. Hotel right in the centre of Beaumaris, walking distance to all attractions, pubs and restaurant. Opposite castle. There's no parking outside the hotel but we have left our car in Green Car Park which is literally 5min walk from the hotel, it costs 5 pounds for 24 hours. Our room was spotless clean and heating was on full speed when we arrived, it was lovely warm and welcoming. Everything you need was in the room including hair dryer and toiletries, tea, coffee etc. Very spacious and comfy bed and plenty of sockets in the room, so could charge your phone and hair dye in the same time :) Usually its only 1 or 2 and and you have to switch something to get something else on. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. There's lovely cosy pub downstairs for non residents but there's also lovely lounge for the hotel guests. So we actually got drinks from the bar and spent time in the lounge around fire place what was amazing. Very relaxing stay and we definitely stay again if in the area. Good value for the price. Can't only comment on the breakfast because we have left very early and didn't eat in the hotel .

Continental breakfast was good, proper coffee too. Breakfast staff were attentive & polite without being overbearing. Room was clean and spacious, beds were comfy, did sleep well. Booked last minute so had the twin, but pushed the beds together easily. In the late afternoon sat outside with a beer opposite Beaumaris Castle, later retiring to the bar for another, which was cosy, locals were friendly before going out into town for our evening meal. After dinner, returned to Castle Court, sat in the residents lounge and played Qwirkle which we'd brought with us. Beaumaris was a lovely little spot to tour from.

The location was perfect for access to everything in Beaumaris. we had a great view of the castle from our room which was clean and comfortable. the hotel offers a basic bed and breakfast service which we found met all of our needs. Friendly helpful staff. There was a fresh continental breakfast served from 8 am with good coffee.

Very obliging and made sure the match we wanted to see was tuned in.Room was comfortable and clean with a powerful shower and a well stocked tea and coffee tray . Breakfast is continental style with plenty of hot drinks available ,warm pastries , variety of cereals and toast . Service was quick . Outside area is a great place to sit and people watch within view of the castle. There is also a more private walled garden area.

We had an amazing 3 night stay here. The location of the huts is very well thought out to offer maximum privacy and stunning views. We stayed in Cut Sinc which is one of the older huts and a little limited electronically (this was fine for us) where as the other huts had tv’s, microwaves and flushing toilets, so worth thinking about your wants/needs when picking your hut. All of the huts were clean, well maintained and surprisingly spacious. We had a wood fired hot tub which had been heated ready for us on arrival and on the last night we got to try out the jacuzzi in one of the other huts. Both were fantastic!! Sioned and her family were welcoming, friendly and helpful and we got to enjoy Huwi’s fresh eggs every morning. Whilst you are only a short drive from the local villages the huts are totally immersed in nature. We got to watch kites, an Owl, bats, deers and rabbits. I would definitely recommend a stay here and we will be back again.

Such a perfect getaway. The hosts were friendly and were kind enough to preheat the hottub for our late arrival. The hot tub was fantastic and it was great to have extra logs available at the hut for a very reasonable £5/bag. We loved the stream at the foot of the decking and the chickens a stone's throw behind the hut. The location is quite easy to find thanks to the hosts' instructions. The hut had everything we could possibly need kitchen-wise, the bed was comfy, the hut was clean, and though the composting toilet can take some getting used to, it was by no means unpleasant. The barbecue was great to have though confusing to light, but the host's mother was on hand to help us within a moment's notice. We really enjoyed having meals on the wooden decking overlooking the stream. The mini-shop was a nice addition for (not the most affordable) emergency supplies and the freezer to swap ice-blocks was great to keep the ice box cold each day. There's a lovely walk we did that starts at the hut and goes up onto the hills which I'd recommend. Though the hut is off-grid, we could just about make the most of the mini-shop's free WiFi from our decking. Sadly the USB ports by the bed didn't seem to work so we had to use the kitchen's USB ports, and the main light switch plate wasn't fitted properly and kept falling on the floor, but neither of these problems were a bother in the grand scheme of things. Overall I would definitely recommend to a friend!

We loved it all. If you're after a peaceful break, then this is perfect. My wife was chilling on the decking with a glass of wine, watching the sheep and their lambs while a few pheasants popped into the field. There were also rabbits in hedge row and buzzards in the sky. In the meantime, I was cooking our dinner on the log burner stove as I waited for the log fired jacuzzi to warm up. It was pure bliss. We took the puppy too, and he was secure on the decking as the hut is all fenced off. There is also a shop there which is a great idea. The shop is an honest shop where you help yourself and leave the cash in a locked box. They really have thought of everything.

Overall my stay with the Mid Wales Luxury Huts has been fantastic and a memorable one. The hosts were amazing as they were extremely helpful and friendly. We did have an incident where we had run out of gas for the BBQ, but the host were incredibly responsive and fixed the issue within 5 minutes. If you are looking for a little romantic getaway, I do believe that you would not be let down, the location of the hut was perfect as you are remote in the countryside with beautiful scenery all around, but a short drive to the nearest seaside town. The hut and hot tub was clean overall and offered a lot of privacy. Would love to stay again. Thank you again Sioned & Andy!

We absolutely loved the hut, it was very well equipped, and had a very comfortable bed. The site is great, very clean and well set out. The position of the site is close to so many great walks and amazing places to visit. If you go to this site make sure you do the "torrent walk" which is just up the lane, it is amazing!

The Jacuzzi was a hit with my husband and two boys. Lovely holiday home with stunning views. Staff are lovely and at hand to assist if need be and very helpful. We asked for the bbq and it was already there waiting for us when we arrived. Well equipped beautiful holiday home.

Lovely park. Really well kept with great views and caravan was spotlessly clean. Great value for money and the included spa with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna was an added bonus!

Location is great. 5 minutes drive from town. The view from park view lodge is incredible. Also, enjoying the view while being on the jacuzzi is something else! The place was clean. The staff was really helpful, gave us really good instructions on how to explore the city. Perfect place to spend your weekend. It definitely met my expectations

We absolutely love this place everything about it is just perfect for us. Peaceful and quiet. I can relax and do my painting or crocheting while my husband enjoys the gym. The restaurant serves lovely food and the stsff are friendly and helpful. I can't say anymore than just perfect. We will be back soon. All Modern luxury, with cosy rural interior and amazing peaceful surroundings. Very comfortable beds. Easy stress free checking and amazing views.

Our cottage Ysgubor was ideal for our needs, a perfect base for a family break away with my daughter, daughter-in-law and my grandsons. The cottage was cosy and comfortable, full of character and pretty much had all that we needed. We felt there was enough room for 3 adults and a 5 & a 6 year old! The lounge area of the open plan living, dining and kitchen area accommodated us in comfort. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept well after our days out introducing the boys to their Welsh heritage. The shower is wonderful, excellent water pressure and easy to regulate the temperature - no problems washing away the sand between toes and seasalt hair from a beach day! As well as the bathroom downstairs it was very helpful to have the cloakroom facilities upstairs. The location is quite idyllic and so tranquil, you literally felt the stress and hectic focus of general life slip right away. The best compliment I can give is that the boys talked about going home each day after our intrepid adventures, and didn't want to leave. Thank you for your excellent communication from booking to going home, the delightful welcome pack and for providing a home that lifted and healed our spirits.

The Cottage was perfect. It was very clean infact spotless. The location of the Cottage was perfect for where we going it was very peaceful and quiet (we was probably the loudest around) overall perfect we will be back. Thank you so much.

When arrived at the cottage it was beautiful inside and out love that got welcome gifts everywhere was clean and tidy and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The bed was so comfortable , fresh with bed sheets n clean towels. Would be nice if it had a log burner inside would make it more Cozy for couples.

Cosy but spacious, very comfortable, very clean, lovely new kitchen, entire cottage well-equipped, plenty of towels/tea-towels provided. Plenty of storage space. Jane couldn't have been more helpful and responsive. Access to freezer and washing machine was useful. Ample parking, lovely quiet location.

A quaint place in a beautiful setting. It's immaculate from the outside and that continued inside. Our suite was absolutley beautiful, full of character and very big. Lovely pieces of furniture and cottage doors. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was nice, and in a lovely period room. A really nice stay.

Absolutely fantastic food and vast menu, normally with such a large menu you lose quality but not at Ty Gwyn, the food was exceptional for all four of us on both evenings and breakfasts. The hotel itself is superb, like going back in time, I hope they always keep this decor and furniture as this is what gives Ty Gwyn its charm. We had rooms 3 and 6B and they were beautiful and comfortable, both with jacuzzi bath tubs. The lady on reception was very welcoming and really nice to talk to - apologies but we didn’t catch her name. There was also Hilary serving at breakfast and she was absolutely amazing and such good fun.

Stayed in the lovely one bedroom apartment. It was Perfect, lovely modern kitchen area, hob, oven, fridge l, freezer, washer, dishwasher, wow! everything you would ever need was available in this kitchen. Plenty of pots, pans, glasses etc. Large TV in the lounge & Comfortable seating to relax in. Large upstairs bedroom. Bed was really comfortable and very clean. Lots of space upstairs, cute rocking chair and a bed settee. Lovely view from upstairs windows. Bathroom, small room with shower, all new, super clean and modern. Various shower gels, shampoo n conditioners. Very impressed with this accommodation. Had our own front door, felt very safe. Would highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟Breakfast was in with the price and was delicious, lots to choose from and plenty on your plate. Lovely service, thankyou 👍

Outstanding surrounding views. Hot tub over looking hills and woodland. Rooms are clean and tidy, spacious with quality bed linen, towels and shower gels. Coffee machine and kettle inside the room and a decanter of water provided. Along with a hairdryer, and slipoers. Plenty of space through out the property, whether you want to relax in the garden area with hot tub, large quiet space in a downstairs living room or have drinks in the bar which is also a chinese food restaurant from 17:30pm-to approximately 22:00 depending on bookings.. Inexpensive food and drinks in the restaurant. Breakfast is served between 06:30am and 9am. With cereals, yogurt and a main breakfast choice of, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, beans, vine tomatoes, hash browns and glorious fried eggs. Coffee and tea and a choice of orange or apple juice available too. Check in from 15:00 on arrival checkout up to 10:00 on your departure. 40 minutes from lake Vyrnwy turn left onto nain road out of hotel. 30 minutes to Barmouth turn right out hotel. Located in the south of snowdonia national park.

The room was very spacious and clean, bed comfortable, view from the window lovely and it was quiet at night. The owners were very friendly and kind. Breakfast was delicious full Welsh and served in a company of cute puppies which was an added bonus! The restaurant served delicious Chinese food. Overall perfect and would recommend.

Everything about this place was amazing, greeted with a smile and helped to the room by the lovely lady proprietor, given a guided tour of the beautiful house and garden, the lady also moved us to a room with a much nicer view of the garden and surrounding area. The evening meal was authentic Chinese cuisine, very tasty and extremely good value for money, breakfast was also filling with a large choice of continental followed by full English breakfast / Welsh breakfast, then we get to the room and the bed, so comfortable we didn't want to leave, the bathroom had both bath and shower so spoilt for choice, both bedroom and bathroom were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with added touches like coffee machine as well as kettle, his and hers bathrobes and slippers, suffice to say that we will be back for another visit Thanks for a lovely stay Buckley Arms staff xxJan and Rob 25/8/23

We liked everything about our stay in the Buckley Arms. The food in the Chinese restaurant was delicious, with a very good selection of drinks at the bar. We had a choice of two beautiful rooms, very spacious and comfortable with stunning view from the back of the hotel. The bed and bed lining were extremely comfy and we had a first class sleep. Breakfast was made for us fresh and very tasty. Could not fault this place. We will be back there to stay again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

- Absolutely lovely boutique hotel, the landlady and the staffs were wonderful, extremely helpful and friendly. - Very comfy bed, pillows and mattress. - Big bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. - Staffs were very helpful, they helped us carrying luggages, letting us borrow plates/spoons to that we asked for to eat our takeaways in our rooms. - Breakfast was good, basic options but good. - Rooms were equipped with good kettles/tea/coffee even coffee machines, which was wonderful. - the views were spectacular from the hotel and the breakfast area. - The food served in the hotel restaurant was not overpriced and was quite good.

A lovely warm welcome on arrival from the very attentive staff was the start of a great 6 days. The hotel is in a lovely location with excellent views and my room was so comfortable - the bed and pillows get a special mention as well as the views from the bedroom whilst enjoying morning coffee.🙂 We ate in the restaurant and had a fantastic Sunday lunch as well as a dinner on our last night. The chef, kitchen and waiting staff really made the meal exceptional - delicious food and friendly service. We also enjoyed drinking the bar - nice and relaxing and in the winter with the fire on, I imagine it’s very cosy. Great place for a base to explore a beautiful area - the walks are fantastic.

The hotel was lovely; the rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. It was very quiet and relaxing. The common rooms were very nice and welcoming. The staff was professional, gracious and friendly. We spent a lovely cocktail hour in the lounge and enjoyed delicious custom cocktails. Dinner and breakfast were first rate! Local foods, creatively prepared. We went for an afternoon hike along the canal, which was easy to access from the property. Highly recommend this property.

Cannot speak highly enough of our stay at this beautiful hotel. The hotel itself is stunning, beautifully appointed, fabulous gardens and such a wonderful, scenic location. The room was beautifully appointed and decorated, so comfortable and so many little extra touches and details. I think it had been recently refurbished and it certainly had been done well. It was lovely. All the public rooms were lovely too, very comfortable and relaxing. The food was absolutely outstanding. I honestly think that the dinner we had in the restaurant was the best meal I’ve ever eaten. The flavours in every course, from the canapés to the petit fours, all worked so well together. It really was delicious. Fantastic breakfast too. And finally the staff were brilliant! Everyone that we interacted with was incredibly friendly and so helpful. They just made us feel so welcome and relaxed. Every single one of them made us feel like they were old friends, welcoming us to stay in their beautiful home. Clearly not the cheapest hotel but worth every penny in my opinion. Thank you all, we loved it.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. Hotel and bedroom was very comfortable and stylish. Very clean and well maintained. Food (dinner and breakfast) was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Grounds were very picturesque and a great view of the estuary. Would highly recommend a stay.

This is possibly the best hotel I have stayed at - it has completely exceeded my expectations. It is situated in a private area away from the road, and the scenery is the best I have seen. Our room was also upgraded and it was so spacious (the decor and the space felt royal). We had every facility we needed such as hair dryer, iron, wifi, TV etc. The restaurant was amazing, everything was made out of fresh produce and it felt like a Michelin restaurant - I was seriously impressed, compliments to the chef. We also had parking space and could see the car from the room. The hotel is like a mansion from movies and I will definitely bring my family and friends here to experience it as well. There are gardens within the precinct of the hotel which can be seen on beautiful walks. I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to spoil themselves, reconnect with nature, have some peace and quiet, and eat well.

I loved the fact it was a quick booking due to weather conditions as was originally camping! Sam is very active with communication and sending the welcome guide, also checked in throughout the stay to make sure everything was okay. It was such a stress free booking as well as very organised for such a short amount of time from booking to arriving at the property. The jacuzzi just added the icing on the cake! Will be booking again next year!

I could write for hours, absolutely loved the place, and we really didn't want to leave! It really is home from home. Everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen, A cosy comfy lounge, the most comfiest beds I've ever slept on, lovely powerful shower. Really spacious so perfect if you did have the full 6 guests staying. The hot tub was a very welcome treat, after long strolls on the beach. The garden is perfect, secluded area for the hot tub, seating area and then a lovely patch of grass for our furry companions. 😊 Team this with the location, only being a few minutes walk to the beach, less than 10mins to the main town that's full with things to do, and a gorgeous pub/hotel literally 2mins walk is brilliant. It's everything you could ask for and more. Sam was a wonderful host, keeping in contact to make sure we were happy with our stay. Myself and my partner come to Barmouth at least once a year, sometimes twice, and this is the first place we have stayed that we know we will definitely be returning to, and already can't wait to come back! 😊

We wish we could give Swyn y Mor 100 out of 10! Sam the host was fantastic, provided excellent arrival instructions and was incredibly responsive when messaged. My other half decided to lose the key on our stroll around Barmouth 🤦🏻‍♀️ as soon as we contacted Sam not only did she respond immediately but we had a replacement key within the hour. Absolutely fantastic. The decor of the house is lovely, incredibly clean, and was so warm and welcoming when we arrived. The bed and pillows were extremely comfy and provided one of the best night sleeps we've had in a while. The enclosed garden was perfect for our 14 month old terrier, we felt like we could happily let him roam around without having to worry about him 😊 Location wise we couldn't have asked for a better place! The beach is a 2 minute walk away, 5 minutes down the road is the local co op and the main high street, absolutely perfect. It was also such a lovely surprise to be greeted by a welcome hamper on arrival, a fantastic touch from Sam that makes you feel so welcome. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend away, we can't thank Sam enough 😊 looking forward to booking our next trip in the new year 😊

Oh my … we loved our stay at this property! it was so lovely, spotlessly clean, fully equipped and modern. The house was cosy warm and the beds and pillows so comfortable. The hot tub was amazing , perfect size for 4 of us with space to spare. The enclosed garden was great for our dog and she loved the home too. We fell in love with Barmouth and will definitely return. Sam the host was easy to contact and was so lovely. She sorted out our queries quickly and we really appreciated the gift basket left for us which was an appreciated touch. Thank you for an amazing stay!

This is our SECOND trip to Swyn y Mor and as always it was truly wonderful 😊 The location is absolutely perfect, the house is always clean and well equipped, with everything you need for a home from home stay. Sam is attentive and at the end of the phone if needed. The garden is great, enclosed for dogs and the hot tub is just amazing, great to hop into after a long day exploring. We absolutely love Barmouth, it's our happy place, and if this house is available it will always be our go to place to stay. Walking distance to the main area where all the shops, eateries and arcades are. Literally a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is absolutely beautiful 😍 You honestly could not ask for anything more!
