We liked that the rooms were big and clean. The room is perfect for 3 adults or a family of 4. The bathroom is big and very well equipped (hair dryer and the kit for the staying). They provide a soft breakfast: caffe, tea, butter, toast and biscuits. They provide every day this products for the breakfast. Right at the entering in the building there is a pastry shop were you can buy caffe/pizza/foccacia/sandwichs or any tipic pastry. The check in and check out easy to do, they send you all the needed instructions via WhatsApp.

This was a beautiful room, very clean and very modern. Loved it! The owners were very accommodating and allowed us to check in early! It was a perfect stay. Great recommendation s for restaurant s also.

Everything was amazing. They were far and beyond hospitable. New moon rooms went above our expectations. Extremely clean, beautiful balcony and comfortable bed.

We loved this spot! It is located in a terrace full of plants and lime trees. The room was perfect with air conditioning, a good shower, hotel standard sheets and towels. We had no complaints. The best part was absolutely the breakfast in the morning! We were greeted in the terrace by the loveliest staff who gave us chocolate filled fresh croissants and coffee. The rest of the breakfast was buffet style. The setting was a dream! The staff even gave us a jar of pesto as a thank you for staying… we wished we stayed longer. It was a short walk to streets full of restaurants. A bit longer to the port but it was a lovely safe walk and great area to stay.

we really enjoyed it. + Cosy room. and bathroom ! everything looks recently renovated + it is quiet area ; we slept like babies + location (5 min from station and center with a lot of restaurants) + staff (helpful and friendly) - thanks Sandra ! + breakfast in the room + cosy garden + water in the fridge + good value for money!

Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Delia is a wonderful super host. Friendly and helpful. Excellent communication and instructions. Two other female staff members were also friendly and efficient. 5 minutes walk to train station. 10 minutes walk to shops and restaurants. 20 minutes walk to the water. Perfect base for cinque Terre. Beautiful garden. Our room was cleaned daily. Stored our luggage for a couple of hours upon checkout. All great during our 5-night stay.

Very nice place, cosy & peaceful. Mountain View. Good location, just 2min walking from the central station, and same for the historical center of La Spezia. Good price as well. Very green, room & bathroom with facilities, table and chairs for two to take the lovely breakfast inside (it was 10degrees outside when we were there). Fridge as well in the room. We had some trouble with our phone so accessing the property was a struggle. Once we figured that out, all went well. Breakfast was full and delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Despite the language barrier, she went to the effort to meet all of our needs. She was great. Travelers should know that there are several flights of stairs to get to the rooms. Regarding access: there are codes one must use to access the gate and rooms. We felt quite secure in our room which was spacious and comfortable. We'd stay there again. We were able to stow our bags on the check out day which was convenient. We were able to catch a few more sights before we left.

Great location. Not far from the port and the train station. A lot of bars and restaurants around to choose from. The Room was comfortable and clean. The host was very accommodating for our extra needs and I would say it’s a good place and base for cinque terre trips.

Clean and comfortable, nice balcony. In the apartment was everything you might need: heater, mini fridge, kettle for making tea or coffee. The host was fast to respond and communicate. Good value for money.

The location was excellent! Right by the town square, 3-5 minutes walking to the train station. There's a nice Coop ( grocery store) 2 minutes walking. We visited Cinque Terre. Very convenient and extremely clean facilities. Beds are very comfortable, nice showers, and air conditioning worked wonderfully. Great food and shopping close by the square. Pablo (staff) offered to help us with parking, although we were lucky enough to find a spot on the street in front of the apartment. I believe the garage is not too far or there's other parking available. Pablo also was attentive and offered us recommendations for restaurants. Very value for the reasonable price. Thank you!

We were so happy to stay in the lovely and very clean room. It was close to the train station and shopping center. It was quiet and pleasant. It is easy and convenient to communicate with the manager on WhatsApp. It is a pleasure to have a coffee and tea kettle for drinking. The whole experience was perfect, we couldn't have asked for more.

The room was very clean and renovated, there was everything I needed, easy self check in, very good shower with hot water and wifi, the neighborhood is very calm, silent and very close to the train station! The apartment was larger than expected and very clean. The beds were also very comfortable, I think they were memory foam. The manager of the apartment was also very lovely and went out of his way to help us with everything we needed. The location was very close to La Spezia Central train station which was very convenient, especially with lots of luggage. Would highly recommend for travellers looking to stay in La Spezia for a couple of nights.

This is a great place to stay. The room is large enough (separate room with twin beds) for 4 adults and a really good bathroom and shower. Everything you need is here including English tea! Air conditioning is excellent with loads of easy to use settings. Host is excellent - good communication. Very very clean. Comfortable. 2 mins walk from the station and in the best part of town for food and drinks. Breakfast place next door is incredible - don’t miss it out! Would 100% stay here again. Thank you.

Very modern, clean and spacious! Bathrooms were great size; especially the nice hot shower with great water pressure. They were very accommodating as we came in late, online check-in was slick and communications was good. Great location, 5 min walk to the train station. 22 min walk to the pier and within minutes walking to lots of great food and shops.

This is our first time taking a road trip through Italy. We found that visiting Cinque Terre from La Spezia is a great spot since it's not far from here. There are many restaurants and shops nearby the place, I really like the concept of this apartment—it’s very unique. The exterior is typically Italian, while the interior is modern. Owner is very friendly and helpful . She went out of her way and beyond to make our stay really comfortable. The place is very clean , better than the photos . Better still there is cleaning everyday, coffee machine and a laundry service if needed. We can’t fault this place . Great location near thaw train station , main town and a grocery store just be hide the building. Stay for 5 nights and felt really safe, walking in the back alley way. Will definitely stay again.

If i could rate this place better then 10 i would, we made a last minute booking and were just dropping by La Spezia for the night... when we arrived it was easy access, clean and the room was so adorable! Perfect for a couple looking for a romantic night in La spezia. It was only short walk to centrum to see the life of the town, but in a quiet area. The hostage was really nice and helpful by message, would definitely stay there again ❤️🙏

Guisy is a brilliant, attentive and helpful host. Any query was answered quickly. We arrived on the day before a national train strike, and decided as a result after talking and getting advice from Guisy to miss the crowds of the Cinque Terre and instead take a bus to Porto Verene, Lerici and Tellaro. These small villages were just spectacular, so we were very happy with our decision. The room itself was modern, comfortable and definitely had the feminine touch/attention to detail. The accommodation is an easy walk from the train station. I would go back anytime for a longer stay.

Very clean room and bathroom with a/c, a tv and some free water. The b&b is close to the train station, but a bit far from the main attractions of the city, which didn't matter to us since we were just staying a night after Cinque Terre. Bed was comfortable, owner was friendly and there were supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Great position with down-town La Spezia a 10-15 stroll down a pedestrianised shopping street. Didn’t mater for me as I was driving, but the hotel is very handy for the railway station. Room was very comfortable if a little too warm. Staff throughout from reception to the waiting staff in the Terminus Cafe where I had a couple of cocktails and dinner and in the breakfast room the following morning were charming and very efficient. Jacuzzi bath was a pleasant surprise - which I used for a relaxing soak. Live jazz/pop piano music with vocals on the Saturday night I was in the Terminus Cafe where was perfectly pitched as to be entertaining while still allowing patrons to chat with no issues.

A great hotel in a great location - just two minutes walk from the train station yet it was not noisy and I felt safe. It was also a short walk from the centre, where there are plenty of museums, shops and restaurants and it did not take long to walk to the port either. The room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the food was delicious. There is also a restaurant on site. The staff were helpful and friendly and even packed me a good breakfast for my journey when I checked out as I had an early train connection.

This hotel is very convenient to the La Spezia train station at around 100 yards from the exit. If you are using La Spezia Sa hub to visit Cinque Terra and Pisa this hotel is perfectly located. You can walk too many restaurants but don’t have to lug your bags deep into the city upon arrival. We had a room with a king bed on the ground floor but it wasn’t noisy at all. The property has invested in very good windows to keep nose way down. Our room was very modern and clean and quite spacious. I’ve read about other negative experiences at this property with the older rooms but we didn’t have that experience at all. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant is also quite good if you don’t feel like walking deeper into La Spezia for dinner.

This is our 10th annual stay at this incredibly beautiful hotel (we travel all the way from San Diego, California, every year to see friends and family in La Spezia)! The hotel has the best management and staff who attend to your every need and absolutely pamper you and make you feel like family! Gabriela, Ariana, Marco, and many other staff members are like family to us! The hotel has undergone an incredible and beautiful modernization in the rooms and the wi-fi is very powerful and secure. Also, in the mornings, the buffet breakfast is incredibly large and delicious. Finally, the restaurant bar (Terminus Cafe') is incredibly modern and has an extremely modern and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel was very close to the train station but not noisy and I felt safe. It was a few minutes walk to the main attractions, port and shopping area and there was a supermarket nearby. The hotel was beautifully decorated and there was plenty to choose from for breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and kindly made me a coffee and packed me a breakfast for my journey when I left.

Its location is a few steps away from the bus stops along the front and around fifteen minutes walk up to Centrale station, so handy for both the Cinque Terre rail line and Portvenere / Lerici / etc. bus routes The room move (bar the contents of the safe of course) - managed by the hotel, despite our assurance that we could do it - was waiting for us when we got back on the Monday and everything was sorted. Our rooms were serviced perfectly and there were no oversights In addition, I have to say that the hotel management went out of their way on two or three occasions to make our stay memorable and, not least, to rescue what may have turned out to be a mess up on our part in re: the bus routes and timetables. We were very impressed and grateful for that extra kilometre Net-net, an excellent and memorable stay; thanks to all :)

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights to visit cinque terre. We had a very nice stay here and recommend staying! Here are the pros and cons. PROS: - The train station going to cinque terre is less than 1km away, only a short walking distance from the hotel. - Our room was nice, clean and spatious. The washroom was updated. Good water pressure. Air con worked well (needed with the 35+ degrees outisde). Well isolated (didn't hear any noise from street). - They make an effort to be environmentally friendly, which is great and rare in Italy unfortunately. - Surrounded by nice restaurants and la Spezia animation. In the old town, very charming area. Very central. - Nice breakfast. Simple but room and fresh. - Very knowledgable and helpful staff. CONS: - We came by car and although there are 2 free parking lots closeby, the closest one was always full and the other one had a lot of space but was a good 20 min walk away, which is not the best with the suitcases. - We saw a couple people staying at the hotel have problems with one of the staff members... Although we had a great experience and got along with all the people there, it was not the best ambiance for vacation.

Perfectly located in the middle of the city (everything reachable by foot), very nice and helpfull staff and our room had AC and a very nice and clean bath. Because the windows are new it is also quiet at night even though you have restaurants and bars really close by. They do also have a big nice terrace where you have breakfast or can just relax. There is also an elevator. Unbeatable price for what you get, I would recommend it to anyone!

The hotel had a very friendly atmosphere, staff very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots to choice. The location was excellent, with loads of restaurants and shops nearby and it was a short walk to the harbour. It was about 15 minutes walk to the railway station. We enjoyed a swim at a nice quiet beach at San Terenzo that we got to by bus from the harbour.

We were welcomed by a very kind and positive owner. The whole stay was really pleasant and relaxing for us, very chill and homey atmosphere. The owner was very nice, flexible and always ready to help us at any time of the day. He gave us some great tips for trips and recommended places to get lunch, dinner and gelato. Every morning we had breakfast in the hotel and it was really delicious. The room was nice and comfy. I like the design of the bathroom the most.

Met with friendly receptionist and the hotel is super close to the train station (2 minute walk to the left as you exit). We needed to check out of our previous hotel rather early and Hotel Venezia kindly held our bags at 9:30am until we could check in at 3pm. We returned in the afternoon and someone had already brought our bags up to our room. The room was clean, had all the amenities you need including AC, 4 pillows for a queen bed, a safe, and a small refrigerator as well as an actual working towel bar that heated up. It’s super close to numerous restaurants in downtown La Spezia. The booking.com site doesn’t indicate breakfast being included, but it is and it’s open 7:30-9:30. It’s not a buffet-you sit down and a server brings you a croissant, cake, roll, yogurt, juice, water and your choice of coffee. Cereal, cookies and pastry toppings are also available. For the location, friendly staff, AC, free breakfast, and decent room, I would recommend staying here!

The hotel is easy to arrive by car. The have a small street there to park the guests cars and thats amazing if you are doing a roadtrip through Italy. The staff is really helpfull and kind. The apartment was amazing, it was big, the beds were really comfortable and the bathroom is AMAZING. So relaxing and big. Also you can cook there if you feel really tired to go to dinner. The breakfast? AMAZING TOO. You have so many delicious things! I loved it.

Absolutely perfect! The location was amazing: a short walk from the train station that goes to Cinque Terre, and a short walk from the main pedestrian street as well, that has a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and stores. The room was great, not too spacious but we had a lot of space for our luggage (3 suitcases) and still had a lot of room. The receptionists were amazing and very helpful, and were also very kind and friendly. The breakfast was great as well. Would definitely come back!!

This was an excellent choice for a place to stay in La Spezia. I am so happy that i booked this hotel. The decor was modern. The staff was excellent and very welcoming. I love being near clock towers and this room didn't disappoint! It is walkable to the train station and just about everything else in La Spezia. If you need a place to stay, The Poet Hotel is it! For the people who talk about the strong fragrance, this is a large reed diffuser that is located in the stairwell. It was noticable outside the room, but definitely not in my room.

Check-in was really fast and easy. Location was perfect. The hotel is located a little bit above the city center I believe, so the reception is in the 5th floor but then you take the elevator to the ground floor where you can exit to go to the walkable area. In the ground floor is also the breakfast room, which had plenty of food, coffee, all kind of breads, sweets, cold meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit, juice, etc. Parking was right outside the hotel, which was great. The hotel was very clean, spacious, comfortable and the staff were very nice.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! The breakfast was amazing!! The location was excellent, near shopping and restaurants. The train station and ferry depot were very accessible, and we used both modes of transportation.

Perfect staff, highly professional and willing to help, a truly delicious breakfast and a room with a terrace for evening relaxation, what more could you ask for.

Amazing view, good location, clean rooms, perfect breakfast with amazing food, rooftop bar & the aperativo made by the bar woman was great, service was also exceptional. Considering they’re the only rooftop bar in La Spezia, they’ve set the bar very high.

Clean, spacious and well designed rooms. Nice and full breakfast. Minibar is ok Friendly staff. Literally 100 meters from the beachfront but also near the city centre. Some rooms have an amazing view of the beachfront and the Marina of Mirabello.

Overall, had a good experience at the NH La Spezia for a multi-night stay - hotel was convenient, room was large and the amenities were decent at a reasonable price. This hotel is located in the port area and ~5 minute walk from the start of main tourist area / old town; however, the train station is at the other end of town, a 20+ minute walk away. We drove there - parking was available in a secure garage across the street. Lobby is not much in terms of decor, but they were also doing some renovating, so may be improving. Our room was on 5th floor with sea/harbor view. The room was large and plainly decorated, but the view was worth the extra price. The bed was a bit rigid for my tastes. Bathroom also spacious and had pretty good water pressure. Breakfast is acceptable with enough options, including some local offerings; it is served on the first floor. There is a rootop bar (Red Lighthouse), which is very nice - probably the best views in the city, although it is a bit pricy for the area. Fitness room was small, wifi worked fine, and staff was friendly.

We loved our stay at NH La Spezia. It is a big hotel in a great location near the water. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially those in the breakfast room. Breakfast itself was very good with lots of choice and delicious food. We had a room with a view of the marina, it was a reasonable size and very, very clean. It’s a bit of a hike to the train station if you’re headed to Cinque Terre but only about €15 in a taxi and the walk back seemed easier, slightly downhill.

Perfect location with regards to the train station. Easy to come and go. After a long day of flights and arriving at night by myself, it was a welcome sight to get off the train and see the Hotel Mary sign right in front of me. (Cross the road, head a little left to the steps going down, then walk to your right a bit to get to the front door. Very quick and easy) Good restaurants in the area just 3 or 4 minutes by foot. The room is nothing fancy but is well-equipped. Electric blinds keep the room cooled during the day, a/c worked well too for the few minutesi used it. Nice sized window that opens and let's in plenty of sunlight. View is to the building across the alley but sheer curtains allow both light and privacy. Wifi is good. There are toiletries as well as slippers. Good lighting, desk with chair, luggage rack and a closet. There's a bidet, too. The elevator holds 2 people and some luggage. It's tiny and cute! Staff, including the ladies in the breakfast area, are very kind. Breakfast (10 euros) worked well for me though there was no hot food. Eggs are hard boiled. This is an excellent option is you want to visit Cinque Terre without the high prices. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would stay here again.

I picked this hotel only for its proximity to the train station and affordability but was pleasantly surprised with much more! I stayed in a double room for my first few nights which was spacious and very clean. They even have smart tvs w/ Netflix! When I decided to stay another night, I switched to a single, which was smaller but still spacious and had a better shower! All the staff are very kind and helpful as well. I would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Albergo Teatro! The location is super convenient – just a few minutes’ walk to Doro Supermercati, and the restaurant downstairs is also highly recommended. The owners are extremely warm and kind. They not only gave me great tips on getting to Portovenere, but also were always happy to answer my questions and share useful information. Overall, it was a very comfortable and welcoming experience. If I come back, I would be more than happy to stay here again!

The property was amazing, very comfy bed, nice to have AC, good shower pressure. Hosts were so lovely and helpful, gave us lots of information about the region and trains and let us store our bags after check out. Would love to return if in the region again!

We were happy with the hotel location in La Spezia, a 15-20 minute walk from the central station, a few minutes from multiple restaurants downtown, and also just a few minutes walk from the harbor. It was perfect to have a grocery store just around the corner since there was no breakfast available at the hotel. Very good that there was a small fridge in the room. We also liked the art feature of the hotel, with paintings in the room and various art in the reception. Very friendly staff.

This place is very, very new & well appointed w/some local artist's funky marine themed artwork in my good sized room. Though the mini-fridge was small at least they had one-not every place in Italy has one which is hard to understand in our modern times. Location was on a street that had no outlet (a cul de sac) so it was quiet-no traffic. There was a large, very nice supermarket right around the corner less than a 5 min. walk away. Not a lot of restaurants right nearby but a few good ones about a 15 min. walk away. Also the location was good for the ferry to Cinque Terre for my day trip there-about a 15 min. walk as well. Finally, I had no issues w/the wifi which is always a good thing these days.

Hotel Birillo is a very good budget hotel that makes the best of what space they have. The bathrooms are very tiny but without knocking down walls and spending lots of money they are fine for a short stay. The shower is modern and powerful, just difficult to move your arms around! The room was very clean, fresh bedding and they gave us a little treat of fresh chocolate cookies on the bed when we arrived! The people were lovely, so helpful. Excellent location for going to the cinque terre. Breakfast was great, all fresh homemade cakes and savoury foods. Our advice would be to have a toiletry bin under the sink in the bathroom and for a kettle with tea making facilities in the room (we are British and need tea making facilities available at all times haha)! Apart from that, it was perfect for two nights on our honeymoon trip! Thank you!

Nadia (manager) was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the best part about this hotel. All pastries are homemade so definitely worth it for the price. Rooms are spacious and nicely renovated, except for the bathrooms. Bathrooms are clean but small. Takes about 10 min to walk to the hotel from central station. Cab costs 12-13 euros to get to central station if you dont want to walk with luggage. Train to cinque terre region only takes about 15 mins, so definitely worth staying in La Spezia to save some money and also saving the hassel of carrying your luggage around if you stayed in one of the 5 towns. Would definitely stay here again the next time I visit the Cinque Terre region.

The hotel is well located it is indeed about 10 minutes walk between the station and the hotel and a similar distance to the harbour. The hotel is located in a fairly quiet street. The hotel is not especially expensive for the area and this is reflected in the fact that the rooms and particular bathrooms are quite small. However they are comfortable and well kept and have everything you need, in fact my room also had a balcony overlooking the side-street which was nice. The Wifi is free and worked fine in the room. The breakfast is also very good and I think is served from 7am to 10am in a room on the ground floor. There is a very good choice of both savoury and sweet food and the staff serve tea or coffee. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The only negative I had is that it can be quite noisy inside, and this is why I have rated 4 rather than 5. The rooms and corridors do not have carpets, so you hear everyone walking past, talking, slamming doors etc very clearly and the walls are also very thin so you can here the people in the neighbouring rooms quite easily too. Thankfully the people in the rooms either side of mine were not too noisy through the night but it was quite noisy for a while in the evening. Also took me a while to find the light switch in the corridors, as the lights turn off after a few seconds. Overall however this is a pretty good choice for the money I think.

They are currently doing renovations so my room was lovely and bright and modern. The bathroom especially was very modern and clean. The hotel was about a 2min walk to the main pedestrianised street, so was far enough away to be away from the noise, but a nice easy walk to lots of restaurants and shops. The owners were extremely friendly and incredibly helpful, with wonderful English spoken. The breakfast in the morning was all home made cakes so was very yummy!

One night stop on a trip to the Cinque Terre. Easy walking distance from harbour and shops, restaurants. Walkable from railway if you know where you're going - we took a cab there but walked back once we had our bearings. Super helpful reception staff gave us local advice and kept our bags after checkout until we wanted to leave. Comfy beds. Great selection at the breakfast buffet. Tiniest bathroom I've ever seen. Glad I didn't feel the need to use the shower! Not really a problem for one night at such excellent price.

We loved staying at this hotel! We arrived by train from Rome and it was such a comfort knowing that our room was just down the stairs across the street from the train station! Not only is the room right by the train station, but in 5 minutes down the street to the left is the beginning of the pedestrian main street! We could not believe the location of this place! Plus there was a bakery and grocery store right nearby. We stayed four nights and loved every one of them. The room had everything we need. The fan was great too. We are used to sleeping with a fan at home, so this was perfect. We usually stay in apartments, so a hotel was such a nice change on our trip. It was so nice to come back to the hotel after a long day of hiking the Cinque Terre to a clean room with beds that had been made and a fresh bar of soap and shampoo on our bed. The staff is sooooo friendly and warmly welcomes you with smiles and joy. A wonderful family runs this hotel. We spoke a lot especially with the daughter who speaks practically like a native English speaker. She gave us tips on where to eat and just was so warm and friendly everytime we saw her. Thank you Hotel Aurora for the wonderful experience. We would stay again!

During my trips to Italy, this was by far the best accommodation I have stayed at. The apartment was comfortable, spotless, and recently renovated. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary champagne, coffee, biscuits, and water waiting for us. The train station is only a 10-minute walk away, yet the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. A perfect place to stay, I highly recommend it!

The accommodation is a hidden gem! From outside the building, you wouldn't expect much. But once you get off the lift into the reception area, you immediately get a taster of good things to come. We were in room number 2 which had adequate space for our hand luggage and backpacks. The AC was a heaven sent specially in the hot Italian summer nights. The bed was comfortable with 2 extra pillows if desired. Lighting was adequate. Theres a mini fridge to keep your drinks nice and cold. Adequate space to hang your clothes with hangers. The bathroom was done exquisitely from the tiling to the shower, toilet seat and bidet! Good lighting there as well. The window opens in the shower area acting as n exhaust system but also keeping the bathroom area fresh. For those who complain about the noise at night, you only have to close the bathroom door and the noise is gone. The owners provide bottles of water and pastries daily which was truly appreciated. And to top it all, the kind lady cleaned our room everyday without fail, even on the day we slept until after midday! There is a coffee house less than 5 minutes from the property where we often had breakfast and our caffeine fix. The walk from the train station to the property is a good exercise to get your appetite for some good Italian food. Just don't forget to stay in the shade!

Centrally located near the train station and within short walk to all the bars and restaurants. Quiet, clean and comfortable. The hosts Marco and Elise went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They met us at the train station and took us to the apartment and took the trouble to drive us to pick up a hire car on our departure. Wonderful hosts.

Amazing hostel to base my visit to Cinque Terre. First of all, the staff were all amazing!! Very friendly and super helpful. The hostel is set up more like visiting your family’s home where you feel so welcome! There’s free pasta and cereal in the kitchen, and the staff being in different treats everyday. The beds are comfy, rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are roomy and clean. The hostel is conveniently located 1 block away from the bus stop including one that takes you to Pontovenere (highly recommended), and only 10 min walk to the train station and the ferry (whichever way you want to visit Cinque Terre). If you want to get away from all the crowds, ask the staff about the hike from Riomaggiore to pontovenere—it’s moderately difficult but the views are so worth it! They have so many offers like cooking classes for pesto which is what the area is known for, and the staff know all the great tours and swimming places. They even have a family dinner on Sunday nights that’s free for everyone

I absolutely loved this place; it felt cozy and welcoming. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The room was spacious, with comfortable, private beds, plus a kitchen area that opened to a lovely garden. I felt very comfortable here. The shared kitchen had plenty of essentials like coffee, tea, and cereals for everyone. The location was fantastic, within easy walking distance to everything. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to friends.

It's not the cheapest, but definitely the best and nicest hostel I've stayed at! Incredible the things they offer for free like coffee, cereal breakfast, cookies etc... Everything looks super nice, spacious and new, they have a nice terrace, it's super clean, beds are very comfortable and stable, the stuff is very friendly and helpful.

Costello is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The staff is very friendly and happy to help you with information about Cinque Terre (and around). The vibe is excellent, starting with a warm welcome. They organize a small gathering every few days and a lot of people actually come - I met fellow travellers, heard some amazing stories, had fun...overall a great experience! There is some food available in the kitchen (cereals, cookies) along with coffee in the morning, and you can store your own food in the fridge if needed. I loved the cute terrace, it was perfect for my morning coffee. :) All in all, would recommend 10/10

Apartment is located near train station and is a perfect start to visit Cinque Terre. Room was really clean, quiet and comfortable. Private bathroom had enough space, comfortable shower, hair dryer and clean (I mean REALLY clean) towels and a robe. Bed was wide enough and very comfortable to rest after all day of walking. In the room we had a small fridge with fresh water and a few snacks. Breakfast was in the near cafe: cappuccino and two pastries per person. Tasty :) I can totally recommend this place to stay. Especially if you're a fan of cats! :)

Thank you Rossella for hosting me in your guest house! It was clean, secure and comfortable. From before I arrived to throughout my stay, Rossella was available and took the initiative to provide additional information on the accommodation, tips to get around Cinque Terre and recommendations for places to eat. She is extremely friendly and knows how to create a comfortable stay! My room was stocked with everything I could want or need, including snacks, ear plugs (although I didn’t need them), AC, shower stuff, qtips, a kettle… and a common area with coffee, brochures, a map etc. I didn’t realize when booking that there would be 4 rooms connected by a common area but I liked it - and barely saw anyone. There’s also three levels of security for this accommodation which I appreciated. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to visit La Spezia, Cinque Terre etc. It’s a 5 min walk from the train station, quiet, close to restaurants, shops, the water etc. This was my first time traveling alone and I felt very comfortable and at home, so thank you, Rossella!

I stayed in the room with a single bed which was perfect for my travel needs. It was a very sweet room with lovely details and quite a nice size. The big desk is great! The bathroom was a highlight - very clean and spacious with a nice big shower. Rossella is a wonderful host and made me feel very comfortable. She is super kind and responds very quickly on WhatsApp. She’s always there in the mornings if you need any help. Going to the cafe for breakfast was really special too and the staff were very friendly. There’s a coffee pod machine at the accommodation for guests to share and Rossella keeps the coffee pods well stocked. I highly recommend this accommodation :)

Easy walking distance to the railway station. Clean and comfortable room with fresh fluffy towels, kettle,mini fridge, hairdryer, safe and tv. There is a communal area with information about La Spezia and the Cinque Terre, microwave, coffee machine with coffee pods provided and then also fruit and cake just in case you are hungry on arrival. Our host Rossella was super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again should we return to La Spezia.

I only stayed for one night as I had an early morning train from La Spezia to Pisa, but I truly loved this place and I wish I stayed longer. The location is very convenient, just a short 5-minute walk from the station, which made my travel so easy and gave me time to explore La Spezia. The room was super cute, beautifully decorated, and perfect for a solo traveller like me. It felt very welcoming and comfortable. Every necessary thing I need is available. There's even a coffee machine in the common area. Chiara assisted me before my arrival and was amazing! She shared all the details I needed in advance. From directions to accessing the property by myself, everything was clear and easy. I really appreciated how she thought of every single detail to make my stay smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place in La Spezia.

The room looks moderns and new. Well decorated, light and clean. The coffee machine is perfect. We forgot to book the breakfast for the first day, but the guy was really kind with us and let us have the breakfast anyway (sweet option). They were also really kind giving us amazing restaurant options around the area.

Everything was amazing - very cosy, clean, modern and comfortable. Not cold. 2 min from the railway station. Self check-in is possible. Chiara is very friendly and helpful, gave a lot of advices regarding visiting Cinque Terre.

Lovely and helpful host who even helped me with the luggage when checking in and out. Spacious room, super clean and even with daily cleaning (which I didn't even expect given the price point and that it's an affittacamere, so that was a great surprise). Nice modern bathroom. Fully equipped with hair dryer, mini fridge, kettle, bottle opener, glassware etc. Great wifi. Comfy bed with many pillows. TV and AC (both of which I didn't use). As the name suggests, it's super close (like 2min tops) to the train station, however most trains don't go at night or in the early morning so I was never disturbed and always slept well. I also rarely ever heard my room neighbors. You can do everything in La Spezia by foot, the marina is about 15min walking distance from the apartment. Amazing value for money.

This guesthouse, within a larger building, is located a couple of minutes walk from the train station - perfect when going out to the Cinque Terre. Although our room looked right out on the train tracks the soundproofing must be very good as we never heard the trains in the night. The bed was comfortable and the shower excellent and the place was immaculately clean. The breakfast (small fee extra) and in particular the coffee was great. We were also able to get some clothes washing done for another small fee, which was very useful. The staff were really pleasant and helpful.

A great bed-and breakfast style accommodation within a 5 minute walk from the La Spezia Centrale station. The rooms are located within a palazzo up a flight of stairs, although there is also a small elevator. We rented two rooms for two nights. The rooms were spotless, modern and quiet, and included many amenities including free water, coffee and toiletries of all kinds. The included breakfast is an Italian breakfast consisting of a pastry and beverage, which you get at one of two cafes located just outside. The hosts were amazing — very warm, welcoming and helpful and even arranged for a taxi when we needed one. They were present on-site, and provided a ton of information and recommendations about the area. They also were very responsive through WhatsApp. The five minute walk to the La Spezia Centrale station was very convenient for our excursion to Cinque Terre, which is just a very short train ride away (15-30 minutes depending upon the town). We were glad to have stayed in La Spezia as we witnessed people struggling with luggage on the uneven, steep streets of Cinque Terre. The apartment is also a 15 minute walk to the ferry if you are going to Portovenere. Highly recommended!

Daniela, the host was super helpful and friendly. Provided ample information about La Spezia as well as Cinque Terre. Also provided recommendations. I liked the complimentary minibar as well as the windows having screens to prevent mosquitos and other insects from enter the room while the window is open. Also enjoyed the complimentary Italian breakfast (coffee and croissant) at the restaurant across the street. Loved the proximity to the La Spezia Central train station. Due to a train delay we contacted Daniela about available taxis while we were in Cinque Terre trying to get back to La Spezia. She immediately contacted us with several taxi companies that we could call to request a car. The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern.

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay! Its central location was a huge plus, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. Being so close to the central station was also incredibly convenient to visit cinque terre. The apartment itself was spotless and the internal garden was a delightful surprise. The hosts were incredibly nice and helpful, offering fantastic tips on local restaurants, must-see attractions, and even navigating parking. Their recommendations were spot-on and really enhanced our experience. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay. It's truly a gem!

This stay is in a safe and very convenient location, near the train to Cinque Terre and all of the restaurants and shops in La Spezia. The hosts were simply phenomenal, providing all of the details and information for us to find our way around and access our room, WiFI and get breakfast. The breakfast was across the street at a quaint café and was a typical Italian breakfast of croissants and coffee or orange juice. We also loved the modern nd very clean room, which was decorated very thoughtfully!

We stayed one night at Daniela and her husband’s apartment hotel in La Spezia, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is extremely central, just a 3-minute walk from La Spezia train station, which offers direct trains to all the Cinque Terre villages. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The room was very spacious, with a large, clean, and well-equipped bathroom. There was a pleasant scent in the room at all times, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Daniela and her husband were incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely eager to assist. They recommended great places to eat and visit, and even helped us reserve a table at a restaurant upon request. If you’re planning to properly explore Cinque Terre and enjoy the area, we highly recommend staying more than one night — not only to see everything, but also to experience the warm hospitality and excellent service from Daniela and her husband. Exceptional!! A 2 night visit to La Spezia. As a family, we did research before booking and this was high on our list. It did not disappoint. The office staff were outstanding and comms were great through the Booking.com message service. There were a couple of very minor issues and the staff resole these immediately. Once again, exceptional customer service. The location is also amazing. It is right in the heart of La Spezia - for shops, restaurants and bars. It's also a 5 minute walk to the Harbour. Finally, the apartment. Extremely high quality. The best bed I think I've ever slept on whilst travelling!! Book this place with absolute confidence if you visit La Spezia

This property is in an amazing location in La Spezia walking district. Nice restaurants and shops around, 10 min walking distance to the train station which takes you to Cinque Terre (which is less then 10 min train ride to the first village). Apartment is very modern and clean. my wife and kids loved it. Easly sleeps 6 people. The host Yulia was very helpful. i would highly recommend this apartment. We would definitely stay here again.

Property was an easy downhill walk from the central train station. We found it without difficulty on a quiet street near many restaurants and small groceries. We walked all over central La Spezia and easily did a day trip to Cinque Terre towns from this location. Property manager was super friendly and helpful with information about the town. The room was very clean and comfortable. Attached bathroom was very nice. Air conditioning worked great. Loved the little snacks in room.

The location was perfect for us, in the heart of things, close to the station and in easy-walking distance of the waterfront. For all that it was surprisingly quiet at night. The room was modern, comfortable and clean with complimentary treats (like biscuits and little chocolates), a fridge, a kettle and a coffee maker. Host was friendly and helpful.

I have left countless reviews on Airbnb and booking. I have read many more before booking a place. I never understood those who talked about how nice the host is. What does that matter when you pick a place to stay. I have never done that before. This time, I will make an exception. Giovanni was amazing. Super nice guy. He helped us settle in and then gave all the information we needed for the best chinqueterre tour possible. But that is not all, he volunteered his free time and drove with me to park my car for free and then took me to the train station to buy tickets and waited for me to take me back. That was so helpful on such a hot day after a long commute. Thank you Giovanni!!!Location was perfect. Right on the promenade connecting between the train station and the port. 7 minutes walk at most any each way on a beautiful promenade full of shops and eateries. The room was spotless and the beds were super comfortable. The whole place very recently renovated and really well done.

What a gem! The hosts could not have been friendlier or kinder. The communication was fantastic, via WhatsApp to make it much easier, and lots of useful information was shared proactively. The room (we had a triple with balcony and street view for me and two teens) was spotless and comfortable, and the air con was the quietest I have ever experienced. The pool was perfect (we had it to ourselves most of the time, too) and there's a great outside area with lemon and lime trees, shaded tables for eating (under pretty lights), table football, table tennis, and plenty of sunbeds, a swing seat and hammock too. There are many nearby restaurants to choose from, a shop within about 5 minutes, and an incredible bakery a few minutes' walk away (turn left and just walk down the road) - we got four delicious things twice and it was €5 and then €4. Incredible. The doughnuts are like biting into a cloud... We were allowed to stay and use the pool for several hours after check-out and given use of the owners' bathroom to get changed, which was so kind and generous of them, and made our last day so much better (we didn't fly out of Pisa until 9pm). It's highly recommended in every way, and we were so grateful for the use of the pool after check out. A great place to stay if you're planning to see the Cinque Terre towns, about a 15-20 minute walk to the train station.

The Hosts were amanzing ! We stayed for 6 nights,free parking right in front or around the villa. Only around 15minutes to the Trainstation La Spezia Centrale. We had a room with balcony, the balcony had the perfect size to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The hosts Elisa & Marco can help you with everything, the also prepared a ton of information in different languages for you, they even help you find a restaurant and book a table for you, thats what i call top service ! the pool and the backyard area were also totally beautiful, clean and quiet. perfect to relax. I can only highly recommend Affittacamere Villa Marcella 👍🏻

We liked everything about our stay. Marco and his wife looked after us exceptionally well. The house and pool etc were spotless and had a lovely aroma. The cafe across the road was welcoming and helpful and marco booked 2 exceptional meals for us during our stay. He even picked us up and dropped us off when we couldn’t get a taxi. It was the perfect base to explore the Cinque Terra but La Spezia was worth the visit on its own!

Elisa and Marco were incredibly hospitable, friendly and helpful, the room was clean and nicely decorated, and just perfect for us. The lovely pool was a well needed addition in July. The villa is further away from the harbour and centre, but it wasn't an issue for us. If anything, it was good to be further from the very touristy areas and enjoy food in the same restaurants locals eat at.

Extremely clean and well maintained property, Host Andrea was very good in explaining everything. Property had very good bathroom amenities, and what was beyond expectation was the availability of safe locker, proper hangers, coffee maker, hot water jug, and juice, cookie, coffee and tea pouches. Cleaning done every day. Overall excellent value for the price. Location was excellent - just 4 minutes walk from La Spezia Centrale station. Free WiFi that actually has great signal.

Andrea( Andrew) was very prompt, friendly and helpful. The room was like brand new, modern, well furnished and spotless. Breakfast was a wee bit confusing as it was listed as one item OR another. However when we went to the Reserve café, (about 200 metres away at end of the street) we were allowed to order more than one item!! Great location, around 5 min walking from the train station that leads you to cinque terre. Also, very close to the center of La Spezia. Celsi was super sweet and helpful during our stay. Impossible not to love her. The room was super comfortable and with a cute Italian romantic decoration that makes it super cozy. It was also super clean everyday. The high point was the great breakfast made by Celsi everyday at the balcony, with a great view.

The location was perfect for us - walkable to everything we wanted, including the train station. It was nice to have a lift to get luggage up to our room. But what made my stay extra special was the warmth, kindness and generosity of Giuseppina. What a beautiful host! The space is very clean, fresh, and extremely well maintained. You can feel in every detail that they run it with love and passion. Any question we had was answered promptly and kindly. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the beds were super comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location is also excellent: just a 5-minute walk to the local market, 10 minutes to the harbor, and 10 minutes to the railway station, making it very convenient for exploring Cinque Terre. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting La Spezia and hopefully one day we stay there again too.

The room was very clean and staff amazingly friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early. Very convenient location. Our room had access to a balcony. Great shower with a rainfall shower head and aircon made for a very comfortable stay. Good to have cheap parking nearby, 3.50 euro per day. Once we figured out how to use the parking app it was very convenient to leave the car for a couple of days and top up by phone.

Everything in our stay was just amazing! We would definitely come back and stay at Cristina's place again, also recommend to friends! Cristina was super kind and friendly, she was giving a lot of guidance and recommendations during all our stay. The place itself is super clean and well-maintained! There is some free water/coffee included and all kind of toiletries. Check in was very easy. Location is just perfect - super central - close to everything, the center, the marina, the train station and also one of the best bakeries in town is just less than 1 min away! Simply everything was perfect!!

Our room was very spacious, very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is spacious and modern with an excellent shower pressure. Sheets are new and crisp and the towels large and fluffy. The host is very helpful making suggestions on where to eat and locations to visit. If you are visiting Cinque Terre, I can highly recommend Real Rooms for comfort and convenient location including safe paid parking close to the rooms organised by the host. We will definitely stay at Real Rooms again when visiting the region.

Check-in was quick and the host was very welcoming and friendly. I easily found the apartment, it's a 4-minute walk from the central train station. The apartments are located on a bright, clean street and a neat entrance to the house. My room was clean, bright, as if renovated, with everything I needed. Great value! We certainly enjoyed our stay. Delightful staff who were extremely friendly & helpful (English spoken). Directions and access communicated ahead of our arrival. The room was large, very clean, comfortable and appeared to have been recently updated. Nice creature comforts: Couch, eletric tea kettle, small refrigerator, comfy bed and nice shower. Good A/C and heat. Room cleaned, linens changed daily. Strong wifi. Located near the train station. A great place to stay if you plan to visit Cinque Terre. We also loved La Spezia; it was a great central hub for visiting the region, but more than that, La Spezia is beautiful in its own right. We enjoyed our time exploring La Spezia and eating out every night.

Alfio the host was wonderful and very very helpful. He waited for us in person to guide us through the property and provided us with wonderful tips! Thanks to him we had wonderful dinner in a classic Italian restaurant and a great experience in cinque terre and Porto venere and in La spezia itself. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and comfy. We had all the kitchen utensils we needed and italian coffee, juice and chocolate powder and more all included in the price. It was a great stay and much recommended!

The stay in La Spezia in the La Cittadella apartment was very successful. The apartment met all our expectations. The apartment was very clean, equipped with the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay for a family with a small child. Very large balcony. The location was very good. Near the train station and the port from where you can set off on trips along the coast. You can do your shopping in the very close DORO market. At the local market, which can be reached in just 3 minutes on foot, you can buy fresh fish, seafood, dairy products, vegetables and fruits. The owner was very helpful, in constant contact. He provided us with all the information and assistance we needed. Because we left a few souvenirs in the apartment in a hurry, he agreed to send them back to the indicated address. The apartment is worth recommending.

The location in the city center was also very good, with nice restaurants and bars around the corner and a 15 min walk to the central station. We loved our stay at Racconti di Mare! The whimsical rooms were clean and comfortable and each had a different theme which made our stay so memorable. The breakfast was divine with fresh fruit and pancakes and one of the best cappuccino's I've had. The apartments are ideally located on a pedestrianised street roughly equidistant between the railway station and the port. Our party occupied 4 separate en suite rooms within the wider apartment. I think there are 5 rooms in total. Jago, our host, was exceptional. Her helpful and professional approach was excellent. She prepared an excellent breakfast for us each morning. The rooms were clean, spacious and the fan was an adequate substitute for air conditioning. In summary, an excellent choice for a few days in La Spezia.

The location was perfect as it was about 10 minutes walk from the station. Very easy to find. Davide sent the code so that we could check ourselves earlier than the regular check in time. There is a lift to the floor which was supposed to be operated by key but we were able to use it without a key. Breakfast was included and was fantastic. Jagoda prepared the breakfast on request. Lovely fresh fruit salad, croissants, pancakes, plenty for the day ahead. Great shower for those coming back from trekking. Thanks Jagoda. Davide was very helpful in rearranging our booking at short notice

Parking is an issue. Not close to beach. Poor room views. Good local restaurants. The owner Dario was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Good breakfast.

I chose La Spezia as a base for visiting Cinque Terre and it was perfect. This B&B was so lovely, unique decorated, great located in the city center and a few mins walk from the train station. Many restaurants, shops nearby, tiny little streets that you could just walk back and forth, everything is so beautiful. The staff are very kind and flexible with the check-in. The breakfast was delicious, diverse and prepared on site. Davide offered me the map of the surroundings with great recommendations of the cinque terre, beaches and restaurants.

Plenty of restaurants and shopping very close (even the "market" area) and a gelato stand almost next door! This was a botique hotel of 5 rooms all on one floor with a central desk and not an apartment. But it was comfortable, quiet, clean and a great helpful hostess/owner.

10 minutes walk from La Spezia railway station and 10 minutes walk to the port area this place in the centre of everything. Right on your doorstep are the pedestrian strips of restaurants and bars. The manageress very kindly allowed me to check into my room itself at 11:15am, unheard of. The place is on the third floor of a typical residential block. There is a lift! It is a brand spanking new reno by the looks. Door codes etc means you come and go at your leisure as the reception is only staffed in the morning. The room was super comfortable. Lovely bed linen, fridge, tea/coffee facilities. Shuttered windows means good sleep. No breakfast but it's outside your door! The whole experience was just easy and convenient. I think La Spezia itself is a gem that is overlooked due to its sparkling neighbour the Cinque Terre.

We had a fantastic stay in Sea and Culture! The apartment was perfect—clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Its location was incredibly convenient, just steps away from train station that connects to Cinque Terre , making it easy to explore the area. Self check in process was seamless. What truly made our experience exceptional was Fosco (the host) and his hospitality. He went above and beyond, offering a wealth of recommendations and insider tips that helped us make the most of our time in the region. Communication was seamless—quick, friendly, and always helpful. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cinque Terre!

This apartment was perfect for 2 people. It was very clean, safe, well equipped and in a great location for visiting Cinque Terra. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores near by. Equal distance walking to train station or boat port (11 mins). Also Fosco the host is above and beyond helpful. He responded to every question with in two minutes, literally. He also gave great recommendations for near by restaurants and sites to see. If this place is available don’t hesitate, just book it!! Highly recommend!

Fosco is an incredible host who provided amazing suggestions such as locations to visit and restaurants to eat at. It made exploring La Spezia and the Cinque Terre region so much easier and exciting. The accommodation was very clean, had all the facilities we needed, and was very comfortable with great air conditioning available. There was no noise pollution from outside, and the outdoor terrace was lovely to sit from to watch the sunset behind the mountains. A hidden gem right in the heart of town.

We loved our stay. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Home away from home. Not far from the train station (about 12 minute walk with luggage) and close to some great restaurants. The washing machine was also very handy. I highly recommend. We wish we could have stayed longer. Fosco was a wonderful host, providing us with lots of helpful information to make our visit to La Spezia and Cinque Terre even more memorable.

The host was amazing! Gave great recommendations for what to do, see and eat in the area 😋 very knowledgeable and helpful in accommodating us. The apartment was well located to the train station, harbour and restaurants. It was clean and spacious. The only thing I was wanting extra was another pillow, so considering that's all I would change, it was great 👍 would recommend!

We were totally surprised to find this apartment on a main Central Piazza in a very large imposing renovated building with enormous doors opening on to a central courtyard - a very old building probably. It was a very convenient short downhill walk from the rail station. There is a small elevator, which was a relief for our group of three friends and baggage. The apartments are newly renovated and very clean. Our was a large room with three twin beds. Very modern, clean bathroom. The welcome from our two hosts was warm, even effusive, with offers of chocolates and drinks, quick check-in, recommendations for dinner and directions to walk to the waterfront plus an efficient tour of the amenities. the beds were basic and comfortable. We were only there for one night in transit between Cinque Terre and Venice but we had everything we need.

Best location, 2mins to the train station, close to all the restaurants and shops. Newly built/renovated minimalist room with hidden lights Simone and Elisa, the owners, were absolutely helpful and friendly, always available when needed. The restaurants they recommended were amazing. Some of the best food we had in Italy was in La Spezia thanks to their recommendations. The hotel does not have a restaurant or breakfast but Italian style breakfast is provided for free at a nearby cafe. The quality is average however I don't think this should affect the score negatively.

We loved the look and feel of our room with exposed brick, but modern furnishings. The room wasn't huge, but wasn't small. The bed was comfortable. There were enough plugs to charge all the things. There's a small area to hang clothing. The bathroom was nice and modern with a good sized shower. Everything was very clean. The woman who checked us in was very kind and helpful. Just note that this is in an older building so the elevator is tiny, but it worked! The location walking distance to the train station is perfect, as we were there to visit Cinque Terre. Certainly a good place to stay for that.

The room was very pretty with a nice view. It’s in the middle of the center and it was so easy to park the car close by. It’s perfect location to explore Cinque terre The hosts are the sweetest people! So friendly. They made us feel so welcome! We were a bit lost to get to the hotel and she was helping us so well she even picked us up! Contact through WhatsApp is fast and efficient Lots of restaurants close by, vibrant city, nice port. Fun to walk around. Close to train station. Seriously perfect location to get everywhere from I would totally recommend this accommodation. You won’t regret it!

Location was perfect. Access to the main walk with restaurants and bars/shops was great. Elisa was very helpful and went out of her way to help with reservations, parking, everything. Nana's was an awesome dinner referral and steak place she helped us with along with getting some of the house olive and balsamic we loved at dinner. Help on Ferry vs train and other questions. Could not have asked for better help. Proximity to the main walk the Centrale Train Station and the Ferry was ideal.

Grazia was very friendly and helpful, the room was bright and clean and everything very comfortable. The apartment is close to bakeries and shops as well as a nice bar, so breakfast options are plentiful.

Comfortable, exceptionally clean room with amazing bathroom, private balcony, had every necessity, available free coffee and snacks. The location is great as it is near to the train station, it's very suitable for visiting Cinque Terre. We had some miscommunication about our arrival, but nevertheless the host was waiting for us two-three hours, thank you for that. Certainly recommend it.

Helpful lady and son who answered all the questions. Its close to the train station and has some nice little places nearby. Its a residential and not overly touristy neighborhood. You can take the bus to neighboring beach towns right around the corner. Excellent espresso machine, comfortable beds, AC,we just came from a coming trip so this was a big relief!

Enjoyed 2 nights at the beautiful Atmosfere Guesthouse, and can’t recommend it enough. Check in was easy and super friendly, they even sent a follow up message the next morning to see if I needed anything! The little apartment was fresh, very clean, spacious, well equipped and super comfy bed! I’m on a longer trip and really appreciated a kettle and tea, as well as the lovely little kitchenette. But the icing on the cake was a small but efficient clothes washer, with detergent!!! After 3 weeks on the road hand washing, this was such a treat. La Spezia is a lovely little town, still very authentic, and excellent starting point for Cinque Terra. I can’t recommend both the town and Atmosfere enough.

Around a 10 minute walk from the train station and centrally located for restaurants and bars and around a 10 minute walk to the port. Check in is at a different location just around the corner and staff were friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, quiet location and great bakery just across the street.

The hotel is an easy 10-15 minute walk from the train station, and you just go straight down the main pedestrian street towards the waterfront -- it is steps from the harbor. The room was clean, bright and modern with high ceilings. The room was quiet and featured blackout curtains with a comfortable bed. The room has a mini fridge, complimentary espresso pods, luggage racks and wardrobe, a big shower with shampoo, soap, and shower gel, one free waterbottle, and they also offer complimentary chocolates and biscotti in the lobby. We appreciated these extra touches and this hotel was the closest to what we are accustomed to in a North American hotel experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in La Spezia and visit Cinque Terre. After a long day of hiking and exploring, this is the room you want to return to for a restful and relaxing night.

We had an excellent stay in this hotel in La Spezia: - The hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the Harbour (ferries to go to Portovenere and the Cinque Terre), in the city center close to all the best restaurants. Perfect location. - The hotel seems new, everything is clean and well decorated. - Rooms are perfect. Very luxurious and spacious. The pictures you can find on Internet are real, you won't be disappointed. - Staff is very friendly. They respond to all my demands regarding parking the car, ferries to Portovenere and La Spezia, trains, bus and restaurants. You won't be disappointed, everything was perfect and I will surely book this hotel again if I go back to La Spezia.

Host was very friendly and helpful. The room was very elegant, clean and relaxing. Def nice to come back to after a long day of walking. I also liked that the bathroom was very spacious with a rainfall shower. The location is very close to restaurants and the port to go take the boat.

Room was great, really comfortable and cozy, however, what really made our experience exceptional was Michela she was so amazing. She was friendly, accommodating, super polite and really helpful. I hope the owners know how valuable it is to have an employee as great as Michela. Please do not take her for granted. Thank you very much.

The room was very big, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well presented, and the shower was spacious. The property was only a few minutes' walk to the train station for day trips to Cinque Terre and for going to other towns. There are many restaurants close by and for those wanting an English breakfast there is a restaurant just around the corner where to can get bacon and eggs. It is only a short stroll to the Marina and well worth the visit to see the super yachts moored there. Riccardo was an excellent host and his recommendations for restaurants were great. We took the bus to Portovenere. I would highly recommend this day trip. I would most definitely stay in this apartment again if I came to La Spezia.

The owner was extremely helpful and made us feel at home. He gave us good advices which made our stay even more special. The room was comfy and very clean and had almost everything we needed, fridge, safe, hairdryer. We even got small bread juice and coffee in the room for breakfast. Totally unexpected 😊 The place is very close to train station so very convenient. You can also ask for the paid parking to be arranged. Overall beyond our expectations and we will definitely stay there again.

The perfect Spot for a perfect Vacation. Great Location to Explore the Cinque Terre, The Host is super friendly and really Helpful. There was even a small Breakfast and Coffee included ! Le Spezia is also a really nice City to walk around and visit the Port after you get back from Cinque Terre. TIP: Hiking Trail from Monterosso to Vernazza is open again! Vernazza to Corniglia also Open . Bring good Shoes, totally worth the views.

Ricacardo was super welcoming, and helped me with all basic information even helped with some good restaurants near by.. Location is walkable from Central station as well as Central market. It has all the facilities coffee/tea maker, oven in shared area. Overall amazing experience staying here. Hope to visit again. 🎉

Fantastic location right in the heart of town and walking distance to everything. Literally across the road from the train station and few minutes walk to hundreds of restaurants and shops. Everything about our stay was perfect! LOVED THE HOSTS - Lorella and Alex are so friendly and gave us many recommendations and tips. The location is amazing, quiet but close to the port, the train station, and all the restaurants and bars. Small room but very cozy. Large and comfortable bed, and very clean. The coffee machine was a big hit (so many cappuccinos)!

The host is a wonderful person. So helpful and positive. He helped us with the luggage and showed us the covered parking which was very close to the apartment. The room was extremely clean and we appreciate the coffee machine in the lobby area. The air conditioner was working great. Clean bathroom. A hair blower is available too. The location is perfect. A few minutes from the shopping streets and restaurants and bars. We felt at home in La Spezia. Check-in was so smooth. And check out was great too. We had the option to leave our belongings in the lobby and visit Manarola by train. Thankful to the host for making us do that trip.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful and met us on arrival. They spoke good English and gave us lots of useful information. The room was modern, clean and well equipped with a safe, fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, water and biscuits and a coffee machine in reception. We were also able to store our luggage for a few hours after check out.

Everything was fantastic! we especially like the comfort of the bed and the pillows! we travel a lot in Europe and have found the beds to be terribly uncomfortable and the pillows very flat. We loved it at MY WAY we had such a wonderful night sleep… The bed was perfect and the pillows were perfect ! And the cappuccino machine was fantastic and a great pleasure each morning. Location perfect… within walking distance to the train station and many many great restaurants.! it was very clean and comfy… I cannot say one negative thing! I hope that we can make it back. The most outstanding part of staying at this property was Alida, she was the most welcoming, friendly and happiest host! The facilities were perfect, clean and well located to the train station, restaurants and laundromat. A great base for visiting Cinque Terre, I stated 4 days; 3 days hiking Cinque Terre and another day on the ferry to Portovenere. Alida gave good instructions to plan my days. The breakfast was great, and plentiful. I also enjoyed relaxing in the garden with my book and coffee.

This property is an absolute gem—truly a stunning place that exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautiful design, especially the feature wall, we were inspired for our next bathroom makeover (it’s that gorgeous!). Everything was spotless, and the bedding was soft and fresh, with a wonderful, clean scent. In the morning, we were treated to delicious coffee, juice, and a lovely breakfast that set the perfect tone for the day. The host and her son were incredibly kind and offered thoughtful recommendations that made our weekend even better. It was a fantastic stay, and this place really added something special to our trip. Highly recommended!

Perfect location, as it’s within walking distance from the train station and the city centre. The room was spacious, clean and modern and the host and staff was friendly. It also included a basic breakfast. Overall it was perfect for our trip to Cinque Terre.

It was a great stay. Luca is very nice, we checked in late in the evening, he waited us on street and led us in. He then showed us on map the path to train station, recommended a few restaurants, and the path to harbor for a walk with great views. He also recommended the itinerary to explore Cinque Terre, his favorite hiking trails, etc. The rooms are clean, cozy, quiet, the beds are comfortable, everything is perfect with my family. Will definitely return next time.

Everything is perfect. The room is very comfortable and clean, and the location is excellent - just a three-minute walk from the station. Breakfast is enjoyed at the coffee shop across the street, and it is delicious. The owner is kind and thoughtful, helping me carry my luggage upstairs and providing detailed local information. They also recommended some great restaurants. If you're going to Cinque Terre, this is the best accommodation, and I will definitely choose to stay here again.

We were greeted warmly by Luca. Also, María was very helpful giving tips for restaurants and things to do. The room was very spacious, 2 bedroom, even though we were just 2, had a nice balcony facing the square. Comfortable beds. The breakfast across the street was also very good. Parking was a few meters from the place. Location is excellent, just a few steps from the pedestrian area which is filled with shops and restaurants.

Amazing!! Very clean and comfortable room with plenty of room for us and our luggage and good sized bathroom. Secure private parking close by if travelling by car like we did. Negotiable parking directly in front of the accommodation to unload/load luggage. Train station is only a 1 minute walk away to transport you to Riomaggiore and further north. And there is a smorgasbord of local cuisine to choose from in the Love walk between the property and marina. Luca will give some recommendations of restaurants and even some potential discounts. Luca made our arrival, stay, departure and everything in between something we will cherish for life. He shared his knowledge, tips and recommendations to make our 3 night stay in Le Spezia, and trek through Cinque Terre better than we could have ever imagined. If you are looking for somewhere close to Cinque Terre, in a beautiful Ligurian town, with amazingly kind and welcoming hosts. Look no further!! Don’t stay anywhere else!!! Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. Next time we will stay longer.

According to that, Luca (the owner) is super-friendly, he made us feel like home and he gave us all the information about the restaurants and places to visit. Finally, the location is perfect. The room was refreshed on day 2 and fresh supplies left. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

The space is smallish but cozy, quiet, and comfortable. The room was spacious and comfortable, has everything you need and a small balcony that gives you a view of the beautiful residential apartments in the city! Hongjun is an amazing host, very friendly, responsive and helpful with travel information. We definitely recommend!

Host allowed for late checkout our last day which was helpful.

Everything! The staff cleaned the room and restocked it daily, which I really appreciated! The host was very kind and generous. The room has all the amenities listed, there's also coffee and tea maker (with capsules/tea bags provided too!), TV with YouTube and Netflix included, shower is comfortable and clean. The street it is located on is brightly lit with lots of cafes, shops and restaurants, only a short walk from La Spezia Centrale. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe walking there in the late evening hours 🙏👍 I should also add that a free breakfast is included in a nearby bar with good pastry choices 😋

The room is spacious, clean and very comfortable. There was a coffee machine, water kettle, crackers and some instant coffee and tea. Not even 5* hotels in Europe offer these many amenities. Bathroom was clean and smelled good. We arrived almost 4 hours earlier than our official check in time, but the room was ready and we were allowed to check in immediately. The staff was super polite. The lady could not speak any English and I couldn't speak Italian. But Google translate came to the rescue and everything went smooth. Everest, the owner of the hotel and the cafe where you'll have your breakfast, is an impressive young man. Nice to have made his acquaintance.

Affitacamere Everest comprises 4 apartments located at 1st floor of a building, I stayed in apartment no. 2, it is a 7-minute walk from the train station. The room and the bathroom are spacious, free coffee and still water are provided in the room. I appreciated the existence of USB power plug at the head of the bed. Italian breakfast is served at Bar Gramsci 22 which is very close. though it said on the internet that the bar is closed on Sunday, I decided to go there and I discovered that it was open, I served a pastry and a coffee of my choice. Great pastry shop at the ground floor of the building.

We arrived earlier than expected but there were no issues, the friendly host arrived within minutes and checked us in, providing us with some very helpful hints and tips. The room was spotlessly clean, bed and pillow were extremely comfortable, and refreshments provided that were replenished daily, for example, coffee capsules, fresh bottles of water, biscuits and crackers. There was also a small fridge which was an added bonus.

Great location in the centre. Flat nicely furnished, comfortable bed, lovely balcony overlooking beautiful townhouse. Room cleaned daily. Amenities provided in the room (coffee machine, snacks, water, toiletries, fresh towels daily). Owner very friendly and helpful.

The guestroom is a 4 minute walk to the train and 1 min away from local restaurants. We found an amazing place to eat breakfast and dinner nearby called 'Ciao, Baby' between the guestroom and the train. Delicious food (the best we had in our entire visit of Cinque Terre). La Spezia is the perfect place to stay if you don't want to stay in Cinque Terre itself. We were back and forth on the train several times a day - easy. I would stay here again for sure. Thank you!

Alba Rooms was the perfect stay while we were in Italy. We travelled to La Spezia to visit Cinque Terre. Alba Rooms was perfectly located in the central district of Le Spezia, close to the train station and bus station. It was an easy walk to the train station where we took the train to go to each of the 5 towns for Cinque Terre. We were so happy that we found this hotel and did not stay in Cinque Terre, where it can be very busy and difficult to travel in and out of with your luggage. The hosts were very friendly and warm and provided us with all of the support we needed, including great restaurant recommendations and helpful tips while we were there. The rooms were clean, spacious, and recently renovated. I very much recommend this place to anyone who is looking to travel to Cinque Terre and its surroundings. It was just what we needed while we were out sightseeing for most of the day! Highly recommend!

He even helped move the luggages to the room when it was ready. A huge thanks to Stefano ! Stefano owns a restaurant one block away. We had dinner there. Both food and price were very good. Room is very clean and new. Walkable to ferry terminal and train station. We really enjoyed the stay.

The room was nice and new. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very luxurious. The location was excellent.. it was about 20 min walk from the station.. but there is also a bus stop a minute away. It was a little difficult to find as it is a room and not a hotel.. Also spelling should be “Al quadrato” rooms rather than “alquadrato” as the signage was a little confusing! We had dinner at the owner, Stefanos restaurant 2 nights straight as it was 2 min away and the food was delicious and inexpensive.. and he was a great host. It was also 10 min away from the ferry.

Apartment is clean, spacious. Location is very convenient. Nearby parking (Piazza Chiodi). We travelled with 2 cars. The staff for keys are friendly and very flexible.

Everything was super clean, which was a huge plus for us. Quite practical, it has everything that you need. The host was super friendly, it seems he owns a restaurant close by, we picked up and returned the key there. Top!

Our stay was wonderful. The room decor and cleanliness was great. We enjoyed the balcony and proximity to the train station, and many restaurants and activities nearby such as the Naval Museum and Marina. The furnishings were all in very good condition and you could tell the attention to detail with the room design. It was very quiet from the other rooms and you could not hear the taverna below at all even though we were the first room above it. This was perfect for us after a long day trip spent in Cinque Terre. Getting the room key was easy and it is a good system for entry and exit. Staying here was so comfortable and perfect for what we needed!

Nice modern accommodation in town centre within walking distance of railway station with shops/bars/restaurants nearby. Clean, comfortable, good-sized room. Good wifi, and even a USB socket by the bed (every room should have one). Tea/kettle provided. There is no reception, but the owners sent key codes to gain access, so no real problem getting in.

Guest house style accommodation within very close proximity to restaurants, shops and bars. Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff.

Clean and comfortable rooms with style, cared for by a young couple. All amenities some bigger hotels don't have. We appreciated the iron and clothes drying rack. Perfectly located ten minutes walk from the train station and in the middle of the shopping/ restaurant district and ten minute walk to the port/ boardwalk/park. The rooms are associated with the Bar Metallo restaurant just downstairs. One of the best kept secrets (until now) in La Spezia. Do not fail to order one of their homemade beers. The Undici is now my favorite.

Great location, clean, and very welcoming and responsive staff. I have stayed with my family of 5 to visit the Cinque Terre. Casa Dane was the best option for us. We arrived by train and they are right at the train station, therefore it was very convenient to get the train to and from Cinque Terre as we were right there. Also, we did not experience any noise from the trains despite the fact that our bedroom was right on top of the train station. Breakfast was also included in the price. It is not in the same building but it is a short walk to a bar; quality of pastries and cappuccino was great!!! Staff was very welcoming and responsive, they gave us directions and tips for our trip itineraries, and that also allowed us to leave our luggage there in locked boxes before and after checkout to adjust to our train schedule. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone!!!

The hotel is located in the same building as the train station. Google maps sent us down the wrong road. After some time with the help of the staff found the right location. The staff is wonderful and speaks very good English. They were helpful and responsive to all our messages. The hotel is nearly renovated and clean. Located centrally right at the La Spezia train station. For breakfast you will get a coupon for a nearby cafe that will get you a coffee and a croissant. They have free lockers to store luggage before/after your stay. Parking is 15 euros from 10am-10am at a nearby garage.

In great location, close to centre, train station, port etc all within walking distance. Room was spotless. Air con, safe, hairdryer, fridge etc. Fridge had complimentary drinks on arrival. Small breakfast included tea/coffee facilities and biscuits. Great base for exploring Cinque Terre. Easy check in/out. Host met us on arrival and gave quick info of area and where to go etc. Very friendly and was contactable by text. We arrived on Monday afternoon and went out in La Spezia quite early for dinner, there were not too many places ready for us to eat so would suggest if eating there, leave a bit later in the evening as there is more of an atmosphere and lots of places to eat. We then ate at Cinque Terre for the rest of our trip. All of Cinque Terre is beautiful and Port Venere was just lovely as was Vernazza and Riomaggiore.

What an amazing stay at Echi del Mare. Alessendro, the host couldn’t do enough for us. Gave us great information about the area and nothing was too much trouble. Echi del mare is just a short walk from one of the main streets where there are lovely shops and restaurants. The appt itself was spotlessly clean, and deco lovely sea themed. Lots of little touches, with complimentary toiletries, tea, coffee, biscuits and water. Breakfast vouchers were given to us. We had an excellent breakfast in one of the lovely little cafe just a short walk away. We had a great range of food to choose from. We will definitely stay at Echi del Mare again.

We had an amazing stay in La Spezia! Eva was incredibly responsive, kind, and welcoming from the very beginning. The room itself was spotless, modern, and beautifully maintained. It had everything we needed—bathroom amenities, a coffee machine, tea, some snacks, and we even received two bottles of water each day, which was such a thoughtful touch. Eva was also very flexible and accommodating. Although the official check-out time was 10:00 AM, she kindly allowed us to stay until 11:30 AM. The location was also perfect—less than a 10-minute walk to the train station and surrounded by great restaurants. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

We had a double room and stayed for 3 nights so we could explore La Spezia and Cinque Terre. We walked from the train station with our suitcases and there is a lift! The room was spotless, clean and super allergy friendly. I am very sensitive to smells and dust and I had the best nights sleep every night. The room is beautiful and modern and featured a balcony (that i forgot about 😅). Our host, Eva was lovely and helpful, and daily we had more snacks including a lovely cake, some beautiful wine and wafers. This has been our best stay with the most helpful host in all of Italy.

I was really impressed with the accommodation. It was situated in a traditional Italian apartment block on a quiet street, incredibly handy for the train station and a 7/10 minute walk into the main town center where you find all the restaurants and shops. The room itself was a great size and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also beautiful and spacious. Great powerful rain shower. The room had everything I needed, a security safe, fridge, coffee machine etc. It also had a lovely balcony with table and chairs. It was all perfect! As a solo traveler I felt very safe there.

Keta was AMAZING!!!! Not only is the location perfect as it’s so close to the train and all the great restaurants, she’s just the best. She checked in on us to make sure we were having a good time and recommended food places. She also had our room decorated with rose petals and champagne for our pre-wedding trip. We couldn’t recommend this beautiful place enough. The aircon worked great. Beds were comfy and coffee machine worked great and room was super modern and super clean. Grazie Keta!!

The Room was very spacious and bright. The Air Con worked brilliantly. The room and the hall was very clean, can not fault it. Complimentary tea and coffee supplies were stocked up every day as were the bathroom essentials. Nice clean fluffy towels were supplied every day. Excellent location very near to the train station. I would definitely recommend this property and definitely stay here again. The hostess was really helpful, friendly and very welcoming. Always available for any advise on whatsapp and her responses were very quick.

Very good location, close to Train Main station for Cinque Terre (5 min walking). Room extreamly clean, everyting new, booking pictures corespond 100%. Host oferred 2 x 1,5 l bottles of water and coffee on daily basis. Good instructions for checkin (thgrough watsapp chat) and sugestions for La Specia restaurants and from some Cinque Terre locations. Room has no kitchenette, only a small refriferator and a coffee machine, but many teraces are aroubd and you can serve breakfast or dinner anywhere. Parking opening hours blocks you to use garages if you need to take the car late in the evening or early in the morning - take care, was difficult to find payed (18eur) but available slots on streets, due to august concouse.

Great stay in La Spezia! I stayed with my daughter at this beautiful place for two nights. We chose it because it seemed (on the map, this was our first visit to La Spezia) to be located on a very central and beautiful spot - and we were not disappointed. Alessia is a wonderful and heartwarming host, we felt ourselves very welcomed. The room was very clean, spacious and with all Italian beauty. Only thing we felt a bit challenging was the restroom with glass wall - no privacy whatsoever. It wasn't impossible though, since another went to spend time on a beautiful balcony, when another took a shower aso. So it also took care that we enjoyed our beautiful view. :) But if we stayed longer, I would have asked Alessia to help with that - and I'm completely sure, she would have something. No breakfast, but a nice option to prepare an espresso for yourself. We would love to come here again! Grazie Alessia! :)

Friendly manager who greeted us and another manager who was very responsive via WhatsApp, very clean room with clean bathroom, free snacks and drinks in the mini bar replaced daily, central location in a quiet backstreet, lots of restaurants in the area, air con super cold, big windows allowed for plenty of breeze, would stay again and lastly felt very safe here.

This was our favorite of five properties during our trip. The host Alessia was excellent and the spacious room was romantic and clean. Location was decent and the views were amazing. Even the cleaning staff was helpful. Air conditioning worked well and room was clean and tidy. The info table was quite helpful too.

Absolutely loved our boutique room in La Spezia. Such a lovely apartment style set up that feels very private and homely at the same time. Alessia is such an incredibly friendly and welcoming host. She started by helping us with luggage, gave us a refreshing drink and some snacks, then set to work by showing us all the amazing places we could visit or eat in the area. Our room was perfect. Lovely balcony looking onto the harbour. The place was so tidy, had all the amenities and it’s one of the best places we have stayed in our time in Italy. Alessia even went out of her way to put a bottle of Prosecco in our room to help us celebrate our honeymoon - thank you for that! You should book here if you are wanting somewhere close to the town centre, close to the train station, and somewhere you genuinely feel cosy and welcomed.

Loved our stay so much- perfect central location, halfway between train station and harbour- 15 min both ways. Near the main shopping street as well as many restaurants. The room was extremely cozy and comfortable with so many lovely touches- coffee and sweets were waiting for us upon arrival. Last but not least, Alessia is easily one of the sweetest and kindest hosts I have ever met.

We love everything about our stay here. The location was perfect. Steps away to the main square and central station. The apartment was very clean and spotless, modern and very comfortable. All amenities including snacks, fruits, drinks (juices and water), full-set toiletries were provided. From the beginning to the end of our journey were very memorable for us. The team really treated us well, even asking us if anything was needed for our pet dog. Claudio came all the way to where we parked and try to help us with our luggages and even gave us additional advices and information to our questions. We felt really comfortable staying there. Wish we could stay longer! We stayed at a few accommodation here in Italy and this place was by far on point and really exceeded our expectation in every way. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place in la spezia.

The property was newly renovated and very clean and very well equipped!! Claudio met us on the sidewalk, showed us to the room and gave us many good tips about the surrounding area. The room had everything you could need…a coffee machine that made an excellent espresso, a small fridge, an iron , and best of all a really comfortable bed. The bathroom was very modern, with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. It was literally less than a five minute walk to the train station and a short walk to many restaurants and coffee shops.

Very clean. Sound insulation was very good. So quiet (apart from church bells at 17:30!!! .Bottle of wine was a nice touch on arrival. Good communication with host throughout 5 day stay. Living room: Sofa, table, TV, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge, hob, kettle, coffee machine and cooking pots and utensils. Large window which can be opened onto terrace ( not accessible). Aircon unit. Bathroom: Spacious with large shower cubicle with rain showerhead and adaptable height shower too, loo and bidet. Lots of space around sink for toiletries. Towels plentiful and soft. Bedroom: Very comfortable bed. Aircon unit. Blackout blind to window. Hanging space for clothes.

Not often that one stays in an apartment that ticks all the boxes. Friendly host and cleaning staff. Situated in the centre near beautiful fountain. The spacious apartment is quiet, secure and clean. Convenient self check-in. Fully equipped with all the necessary amenities (enough for the entire stay). Big drawers and cupboards, thus no need to live out of a suitcase. Leo obviously knows the ins and outs of the tourism / hospitality industry. A cleverly designed apartment. Interior also pleasing on the eye. Fast wifi thus convenient to work from. We traveled to Europe from America in 2024 and stayed in La Spezia as a base for our visit to Cinque Terre. I have Leo's apartment 10 out of 10 for the following reasons. 1. Convenience - Leo's apartment was about a 6 minute walk to the main train station, La Spezia Centrale. From La Spezia, we had access to Cinque Terre and Milano Centrale train stations. 2. Clean - when we arrived, the apartment was clean and it was apparent that it was well maintained. 3. Modern - the apartment had indoor air conditioning, a large bathroom (by European standards), and the kitchenette had a small stovetop, microwave, large refrigerator, and espresso maker. 4. Cordiality - Leo was very responsive before and during the trip. He provided information quite quickly when I reached out. Overall, if I were to return to the Liguria region of Italy, I would first look to stay at Leo's apartment again.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at these apartments! The accommodation was not only beautifully furnished but also impeccably clean and well-maintained. The location was fantastic (apartments had fountain view, rail way station is about 10 mins by walk). The amenities provided exceeded my expectations, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the apartment was truly impressive. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay

I had a great stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient — just a short walk from the train station and close to plenty of restaurants. Despite being so central, the area was quiet and perfect for resting. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend!

My single room had a good size, the floor and bathroom had been recently renovated and there was a lot of light as it overlooked a large courtyard with a basketball pitch. Everything was impeccably clean, the elevator and the heating worked well and the price was very affordable. The location was great, not far from the city center, the sea promenade or the commercial streets, but also close to the central station for trains to Cinque Terre or local bus stops to Lerici, Porto Venere... The city is very walkable and the area felt really safe at night. Breakfast was included, with coffee made at the moment and a nice selection of pastries, cereal, cold cuts or fruit The people working there were very nice, both at the reception and the breakfast room. They kindly stored my luggage until noon the day I left.

Our stay at Ostello San Giovanni Bosco in La Spezia was wonderful! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were always kind, helpful, and ready with a smile. Their warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Wow this was a perfect starting point to Cinque terre. La spezia is lovely and so is this accomodation. Room was spacious, clean, staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was wonderful.

The staff was very friendly. The woman at the reception gave me very good information. She even gave me a timetable of the train to go to the Cinque Terre. Also the woman at the breakfast was friendly. The breakfast (buffet) was very good. Normally I never eat cake, but the "torta con prugne" and the "torta con mandorle e noci" was delicous!! Also the cappucchino. The bed slept good, There was also airco and a kettle to make some tea. You could use a shared kitchen en a fridge and there was a big terrace. I loved my stay here in the single room. The location was also good. In the city and close to the trainstation and busstop. I've been to the Cinque Terre, Portvenere (by bus) and Lerici (also by bus). I love this place.

The property is amazing but the staff really make this property exceptional. Breakfast had a great selection and was served on a quiet, well manicured terrace. The staff was very helpful in every aspect especially Souad. She was very patient from arrival to departure - helping us with the property especially parking and making great suggestions for meals. We've got a room in a ground floor and it was very easy, as our parking place was just in front of our door. Room was beautifully firnished, everyzthing was clean, beds were comfortable. Coffemaker and water heater plus cups and glasses were available. We've got snack and biscuits already in the room and thought this was our breakfast. However, next morning a bag with lots of croissants and other morning sweets was put in front of our door and it was really lovely surprise. Also instructions about how to get to the place and open the room were clear and helpful. Communication with the resort was smooth. When booking, they've sent me the link where I would need to fill the data of all of us. It's really detailed and too long - but luckily the appartment offered also the option of just sending photos of our documents without filling the forms and that was really helpful (as I've booked the room on the way to La spezia, so didn't have time to fill long forms). Location of the place is very convenient if you plan to use train to come to Cinque Terre, it's just 5 min walk away.

They gave us clear instructions how to get to the hotel and many recommendations on how we can travel to the Cinque Terre. The room was spacious and clean. The bed, the shower, everything is so comfy and made us felt like home. I personally think the actual room looked even nicer than the photo we saw online. Considering the price, we chose to stay in La Spezia instead of Cinque Terre. We all agreed we made the right choice and would definitely recommend this place to our friends .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Le 5 Terre La Spezia, and it turned out to be an excellent choice for a comfortable and affordable stay. The hotel is situated in a central location, making it incredibly convenient for exploring both La Spezia and the stunning Cinque Terre region. The train station is a block away and makes traveling to the region and daily travel between the villages very easy. Unfortunately our train was cancelled due to a strike but we were able to rent a car and drive from Florence. The hotel has a handful of spots at the parking garage next door which accommodated our sudden change of plans. The value for money here is impressive. For a very reasonable rate, you get a cozy and well-maintained room with all the essential amenities. We did not see or interact with the staff as we arrived each day after normal hours but they were always ready to provide useful local tips and recommendations via whatsapp. The central location was a major plus—close to public transport, local eateries, and shopping. This allowed us to easily access the nearby Cinque Terre villages without any hassle. Overall, Le 5 Terre La Spezia offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value. If you're looking for a base in La Spezia to explore the beautiful Cinque Terre area, I highly recommend considering this hotel.

Our host Alessandro was very helpful & allowed us a quick & smooth self check-in, plus effective signage was in place to help locate the building that the rooms were in. Very close to train station and although the view is on the train track we were not disturbed by any noise, so location is very convenient to exploring Cinque Terre. Alessandro sent detailed self check in instructions which is like an exciting puzzle, you get a key to your room with breakfast vouchers at the end! Host's suggestions on exploring the area were very helpful as was the advice to book restaurants - we never got to try recommended pizza place as it was full on both nights. Even though we did not meet the host, everything was well thought of and smooth, highly recommend. Modern room, comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room. We will be back as Cinque Terre is just wonderful.

The room was clean and comfortable. We were provided a great deal of helpful information about the property, the local area, and exploring Cinque Terre. The property is located an easy short walk from dining, nightlife, and the La Spezia train station from which one can use the Cinque Terre Card to visit the 5 beautiful cities along the coastline. What was unconventional is that we never even saw the property owner or any employee during our stay. The owner communicated clear instructions and helpful information via WhatsApp. We used the codes provided to enter the property and retrieve the room key and breakfast vouchers from a key box. We paid via a link sent through WhatsApp, and we left our key in the room the next morning. It felt a little impersonal, but we weren’t left needing anything. I imagine it would have been a problem if we did not have a smartphone with data service, but as it is it worked well. My only disappointment was that we had to walk to breakfast to use vouchers that were only good for one pastry and a coffee. I try to book properties that serve a full European breakfast, so that was a little bit of a let down for us. All in all, it was a good stay.

Our second room ! We moved after one night - double booked ! 2nd room was much better - this bedroom was spacious as described in booking.com Bath towels were fab & shower room was large & very modern Host explained everything re area , restaurants etc which was helpful and in fairness he left us two small bottles of Prosecco & waived our city tax due to room mix up! Train station nearby but they stopped around midnight - if they ran any later, they didn’t disturb us . Good security! Car parking available if requested Breakfast at two local cafes about 5 minutes away - drink, croissant & orange juice both options ok tho C’est Bon wins by a slight margin Fabulous steak restaurant five minutes away on corner, called Nana -Meat & Wine. T Bone steak to share was awesome

This was a quick stop over. Very close to town and easy to walk out for dinner. Lots of restaurants around. We have an oversized vehicle and there are only two paid for spaces available so check with the host before, it was almost a problem for us but the host was very accommodating in the end. Plenty of secure parking around if you just have a car. Room was pretty basic but clean and convenient, comfy bed and a modern bathroom.

Sabriluna rooms are a quick 3 min walk to the main station making it a perfect home base for your explorations of both La spezia and cinque Terre! The room was clean, comfortable and great value for money! Andrea the host was kind and hospitable and promptly helpful when I did an error on my booking. It was clean room, comfortable bed and nice hot showers, as well as nice aircon to relax after long hot days. Highly recommend these rooms if you want to stay in La spezia but still be close to cinque Terre (only 10 min train ride to first town and avoid bringing big luggage to small towns - so really only 13 mins pending train wait time!) it’s worth it as we enjoyed getting out of the chaos in busy CT and retreating to the quiet Sabriluna rooms in La spezia! There is a supermarket on the other side of the block, short walk into La spezia town and the host has left lots of pamphlets with maps and to tours and suggestions!

Great location ~5 minutes walk from La Spezia's central train station and ~3 minutes walk to the beginning of the 'Via del Prione' main touristic street. The apartment was modern, sufficiently spacious and very clean. The small balcony is also very convenient, especially if you are a smoker. Daily room cleaning service. Good air-conditioning. High quality internet connection. Smooth check-in process. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Toiletries and towels were available and of good quality.

I booked this place last minute as my accomodation had fallen through elsewhere. The property is located very close to the train station such that you can hear the trains (black-out/sound proof shutters do reduce the noise). I did not explore much of La Spezia but it appeared to be conveniently located to the centre. I contacted the owner who allowed me to leave my bags prior to check in which was most helpful. My initial impression of the property was it was a little dodgy, but this would later prove to be incorrect. There’s an old lift and strange communal area with a kitchenette (no oven or stove) and a table with a comically large selection of brochures all the while clean and orderly. Upon my return from a day of hiking I found my room to be exceptionally clean. At this point in my trip I had also stayed at a hotel with daily cleaning services that couldn’t compete with Le Tre Spezie. I used the kitchen to make a salad and had all the utensils I needed. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner very effective. The bathroom facilitates were modern.

Its always good to meet great host & perfect stay. He was very helpful to receive us & help us to park our car & always available to help us. Its a clean room for stay of 3 person with super clean & don’t forget to thanks for air conditioning in Italy heat. Kitchen was shared though again its having all the things to have your small dinner or bf.( kithcn hv refrigerator/ utensils/ microwave) Room is at very prime location. 5 mins walk from railway station & 10 mins walk from main market.

- handy location with train station which connects you to Cinque terre, Rome, milan, Genoa etc. Also next to pharmacy, supermarket and good Italian pizza (Luna) - aircon worked amazing - free coffee in morning was amazing (proper bean machine coffee) - very friendly staff and easy to make flexible payment

It's great if you're just wanting to stay one or two nights, the place was very clean. The owner is very friendly and helped us find a free parking spot and carried our bags to the room! They leave coffee, tea, and an Italian breakfast of crackers, dry toast, and jam to have in the morning. In a shared, spotless kitchen. So close to the train station if you're visiting the cinque terra.

Perfect location, wonderful view of the entire La Spezia, cozy clean room with balcony. We spent 2 nights to visit Cinque Terre - central train station is about 25 minutes by walk from the accomodation. Perfect delicious breakfast on the terrace! Very friendly personnel.

Theo and I adored our 4 night stay here at Alessandra’s place in La Spezia! The breakfast was fresh and delicious, it set up us perfectly for the day. The whole design of the place is just beautiful, the view is stunning. I would reccomend this accomodation for couples or friends who enjoy the quiet and do not mind walking up hills or stairs. The place itself is on a mountain so the walk up is a little bit challenging, but it is a very convenient location. This is because the station is just 25 minutes down lots of steps from the accomodation and with the train you can access all the beautiful costal villages and towns on the cinque terre. We did not have a car, so the ability to walk easily or take the train was great for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the food options within 20 minutes walk from our accomodation, especially ‘antica osteria da caran’ as it was the closest restaurant to us with practically only locals and delicious seafood, pasta and pizza. I promise you will love it here, Alessandra will take such good care of you. We left feeling so relaxed and happy - We wanted to stay forever!

The place was in a hill with amazing views. The room was very clean and big. Breakfast was served fresh everyday with handmade pastries. The área was peaceful and nice.

The place is super clean, spacious, and the view from our room was great. We got to see the fish and produce market. There was not any problem with the smell of fish coming to the room. I was with my grandmother and she was able to use the elevator when needed. The shower was amazing too. Hot water, high pressure, and the rain style shower head.

The accommodation has a perfect location in the city center, halfway between the train station and the port. The bed is comfy, the windows are blocking the outside sounds really well and we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Downstairs there are several cafes where you can enjoy your breakfast. We choose La Spezia as our base for visiting Cinque terre (by train) and Porto Venere (by ferry).

The size of the room is enough. The bathroom is super with a rain shower. The double bed is very comfortable. Very clean and quite close.to the train station. The room is equipped with a large tv and a tea making facilites. Opposite the building there is fruit veggies and fish market.

Perfect location, just next to main walking streed, 5 minutes walk from water front and marine. 10 minutes walk from central station. All sightseeing of Las Spezia are within 10 minutes walk. Very nice room with good and spacious shover. There is no reception, but it was very easy to access the room using provided instructions and door lock code.

Very lovely small hotel with perfect location in La Spezia. All restaurants are very close, the train station is just next door, and even the harbor is at walkable distance. Even if the hotel is centrally located, I wasn’t disturbed by the notices from outside. I normally wake up very easily. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice an cozy. Very beautiful interior. Especially I loved the bathroom’s jungle feeling. No breakfast in the hotel, but the coffee was good. Many breakfast places on the street below. The hostess was very helpful giving advice on where to go and how to get there. Thank you very much for the lovely stay! I would definitely come here again.

This was one of our favorite places to stay! Keta was incredibly kind, accommodating, and helpful, providing us with excellent recommendations for the area. It was very nice to have a host who genuinely cares about her guests. The accommodation is perfect - ideally located near fantastic restaurants and just a short walk from the train station, making it so easy to access the small towns. The bed is comfortable, the space is modern and spotless, and it includes a powerful hair dryer, which has been a rare find on our trip. We also appreciated the attentive staff who refreshed our room each day. We were very thankful to come home to this place at the end of the day and had zero regrets staying in La Spezia vs the smaller towns with lots of steps! We highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Cinque Terre!

Lovely Rooms was the PERFECT place for us! It was a super easy walk from the train station, even with luggage. We had the cutest balcony, perfect for relaxing with a bottle of wine at the end of the day. TONS of restaurants in easy walking distance. It was truly the IDEAL location for exploring La Spezia and catching the train to and from all the lovely towns in Cinque Terre! If you are doing Cinque Terre like we did, STAY HERE!! It is WAY easier logistically - SO MANY STAIRS in Cinque Terre towns, and all of the restaurants there close early!! La Spezia is like the 6th town, but much better train schedule and access to what you will want in the evening! Great communication with host - truly a perfect stay!!

We really needed a vacation to clear our heads and just relax. This place was our best choice. Everything is planned in great detail in this place.very quiet. It has everything you'll probably need. Beware the bed is so comfy it will make you fall asleep fast and stay in bed for a bit longer .luckily for waking up, this place has a small nespresso machine that makes our mornings much better. Huge shower and very clean with all the toiletries. Me and my bestie are young females and we felt very safe in this place. It's very close to the main station that makes it much to travel to the breathtaking villages around. The best thing, of course, was the host, which was very kind hospitable and polite. She gave us some good recommendations and checked to see how we were doing. At the same time she gave us a lot of privacy. All communication was through messages. Hope you find this review helpful. We would definitely want to stay there again.

Actually it contains every thing you need in your home not just a short stay accommodation Nothing was missed , available washing machine , iron , boiler , coffee maker Very centrally located with few steps to the pedestrian street full of coffee shops and restaurants Very very clean Enough space for even more than 4 persons to sleep with very comfortable beds Elevator available to take you up to the 3rd floor where the flat is Few minutes walking to the corniche and the train station to cinque terrre

The studio itself looks better than the pic. we 3 all “wow” once we got in. it’s clean, modern and have the balcony I love. location is convenient to train station and good dining places. service is good too. since I have a meeting at 10am, they allow me to check out at 11. the settings are all pretty useful, the entrance shelves is not only good to hang jacket but good for the washed clothes to hang and dry.

Location was perfect as it was walking distance to the train station, supermarket, restaurants and the main square. Apartment was bigger than expected and perfect for a family of 4 (had 2 large bedrooms, reasonable sized kitchen & dining area and kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for a longer stay). Apartment was furnished well and very clean. Would highly recommend for stays in La Spezia / Cinque Terrre.

Great location. Recently refurbished room (including a great shower). Perfect wifi, super helpful hosts.
