Hotels with Jacuzzi in Room in Mazatlan

The staff are all very hard working and friendly! Service was wonderful! Pool service staff (Louis), very attentive and would even bring fancy drinks that he thought we would like, as a thoughtful gesture. Rafael in the Tres Isla buffet was also exceptional, he was even teaching me some Spanish by the end! Restaurants are a hybrid of buffet and a la cart. Nothing exceptional, good food though. Buffet was definitely suffcient. No trouble getting sun chairs....always plenty as they have hundreds both at the 3 pools and on the beach. Elevators were frustrating as they took a while to come, passing right by your floor. Not a deal breaker. Entertainment was good, especially the 2 rock bands! Live music, no lip syncing! " The Stones" and "Kannon". Incredible! Would definitely go back!

Overall nice property, kept extremely clean and very friendly staff. The biggest draw back was the entertainment and food. They encourage you to download the app but then the app isn't kept up to date - even had a staff member report that the app is "garbage" for this purpose. Entertainment present but never knew which place to find it and was usually done by 9:30. Pools had some music but it was usually too quiet to hear unless you were sitting on the stools. Food was blah 2/5. Reservations were easier than most to get at their restaurants but food was worse than the buffet. We will say the app works wonderful for housekeeping but could've called as well. Lots of transportation options outside of the resort for very reasonable prices. Small shopping mall .6 miles away with a good food options. Store at the resort was smaller than most bathrooms. I would recommend this property for a very quiet and relaxing vacation but if you are looking for more things to do, I would recommend a resort closer to downtown.

Beautiful ocean views from almost everywhere and stay in the junior suites on higher floors. Nice pools and water slides. Beach is good but can not swim in ocean. Food buffet was ok it got me through breakfast and lunches. The other restaurants were disappointing mostly buffet very little a l carte. Luckily going out of resort and having very tasty dinners was very inexpensive compared to the rest of Mexico resort city’s. Mazatlan is great and would go again to the Riu

Beautiful hotel, large but not difficult to navigate. Food was good with 1 night exception. We all got sick for 24 hrs. Not sure what it was. Lots of loungers on beach never have to save. People save around pool very early. People were extremely friendly and accomadating. Waves were very high, swim at own risk. Probably why pools were busy but again not bad. Rooms were nice and clean and big. Had room 417, it was perfect view of everything and sunsets were beautiful. Book restaurants right away. Hard to get in. If you can book try and go anyway and you may get in. Would go again.

Property is very clean and the staff is excellent. Eric in the pool bar was our favorite bartender he made the best margaritas and was so attentive to guests and friendly. All the wait staff in the restaurants were great as well. The only things we did not like about this Riu is how hard it was to get reservations at the a la carte restaurants. We were there a whole week and were only able to eat at one of them. The app reservations never showed up all days were booked up. Other than that this is a great place in Mazatlan.

I had a standard room. Good view of pool and ocean. The room is pretty good, but the bathroom lighting at the mirror is dim. The wi-fi wouldn’t work if I was near the balcony, and I had to enter the access code every 24 hours. The safe in my room worked good. Nice shower, comfortable bed, good housekeeping service. The pillow are thicker than I like, but one of them was ok. The hotel breakfast buffet is 280 pesos, which we did once. (December 2024 price) The omelet and pastries are fine. Pancakes were hard. And there wasn’t anything else at the buffet to suit my American tastes. We had all our other meals at the numerous nearby restaurants. Swimming pool is warm. Beer at the pool is 45 pesos, the same as nearby restaurants. Rooftop bar is also 45 pesos and has 2-for-1 from 5 to 7pm; they open at 4pm Sun-Thu and at 5pm Fri-Sat.

Stayed for a week in mid December 2024. Very good location near many restaurants and bars. Good size room with awesome ocean view just wish i was on a higher floor. The bathroom lighting is not very good. The wi-fi was OK but could be better, and I had to enter the access code every 24 hours which was wierd and a hassle. Nice big shower with good water pressure and hot. Good comfortable bed. Swimming pool is warm. Beer at the pool is 45 pesos. There were pigeons and birds around the pool and bar area many days which was annoying. Many times in the afternoon there was no bartender at the bar. Rooftop bar opens at 4 or 5 is awesome but can be windy and has good happy hour. Only about 6 umbrellas on the beach so may be hard to get one if the hotel is full. The room balcony is very very small and you can only fit 1 maybe 2 people at most. They were doing some painting/rust proofing to the roof by the pool a couple days which was annoying. Very good front desk folks . I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent Location. Very conveniently located on the beach in the Golden Zone with many restaurants and entertainment venues within easy walking distance. I went with a girlfriend for 10 days and we booked a Double Queen Suite. The room was very spacious and the views lovely. Beds were comfy. Balcony was a little small but was fine for 2 people sitting. I asked and got an upper level room. The rooftop deck is very nice for drinks, snacks and watching the sunsets. We had breakfast in the restaurant but no other meals there -- the breakfast options were very good and the prices reasonable. Staff at the hotel are very personable and do their job well. I would stay here again.

We stayed twice 2 nights in this hotel. We normally don't stay in chain hotels like the Holiday Inn, but for Mexico this was kind of must. The room was really nice and spacious. The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. Same as the bell boy. The shower was great. All the soaps are from Dove. We enjoyed staying here. The outside area is spacious but a bit boring. The location is great, directly at the beach. We enjoyed the sunset at our balcony. Breakfast was good. A lot of choice. There is room of improvement, as although it is a new hotel, some maintenance is needed already.

I would defini. stay again! Great experience. Friendly staff. Perfect for families. I visited w my 2 kids. Beach side view. Everything close. You can walk to scooters, rent them, and enjoy Malecon at night. Breakfast buffet was good. Bed was comfortable. No cons

The hotel is really well located. You walk out and you are on the malecon. Great ocean view. Close to everything. Bars, restaurants and clubs all just a short walk away. Hotel room is clean and spacious.

We enjoyed out 1 night stay at Coral Island. The room was very comfortable and quiet with a nice view of the sea. Easy walking to the beach and various restaurants along the malecon.

Nice, clean hotel, next to the beach. The included breakfast was ok, not great but ok. Staff at the restaurant could be friendlier.

The hotel is in a great area right in front of the beach. Rooms were basic and simple but pretty clean. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast buffet. The food did not taste good at all..
