The staff on our arrival set the tone for our visit. They were friendly and efficient and willing to tolerate our desire to speak very bad German even though they spoke English perfectly well! Our room, whilst of the lowest category available, was lovely. The bed was very comfortable with luxurious bed linen, the bathroom very well appointed and there were some really nice touches like fruit and refreshments. Because we had arrived later than planned we ate in one of the hotel’s restaurants. If you stay here remember it is a luxury hotel with prices to match. The food was not to our taste but the setting was very pleasant and the staff (following the theme!) attentive and friendly. On subsequent evenings we explored the town surrounding the hotel to find typical local restaurants. There were a couple of minor niggles such as there being no towels for use in the sauna one evening and the pool area not being tidied of discarded towels and forgotten replenishment of coffee pods in the room but these were minor points. Also, note that parking is charged at €22 per day. The issue which detracts slightly from the overall rating was that on one evening of our stay the bar was playing host to a disco. This is the only bar, is quite small and meant that there was nowhere to relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day - the only option offered was to sit in the restaurant which was not what I would have expected of such a top grade hotel.

Schloss Bensberg would by far be the best hotel myself or my partner have ever stayed in. The staff there are so attentive and helpful with any request or questions you may have. We were able to check in a lot earlier - not only this but we got a room upgrade also. They had bell service to take our luggage up to our room and we were personally shown around the hotel by one of the lovely staff members. We were shown where we could eat, shop and even relax. Personally, I was sold as soon as I saw the place. I mean, It's a castle after all! The treatment we received upon arrival was sensational, and only improved my impression. We were taken up to our room by the same staff member who was simply amazing, showing us things in our room and making sure we had no concerns. The room was simply breathtaking. I have never seen a hotel room so beautiful. The view from the window was something else. In the distance you saw Köln in all its beauty. The bed was simply heavenly, it felt like you were sleeping on clouds it was that perfect! The shower was perfect in every way possible. There's a lovely pool with an amazing temperature for any weather. There's also a spa/hot tub for anyone to use. I cannot rave about this hotel enough, or recommend it highly enough. It was perfect in every way possible and we were very sad to have to leave. I hope that in the future we can return to this amazing place and enjoy it's beauty more.

An elegantly furnished castle hotel with all modern amenities and a well trained and helpful staff. The praesidential suite we used was elegant, spacious and well equipped, although the ultra modern shower enclosure was a little impractical. The reception and the staff over all are friendly, helpful and utmost efficient and professional. The 3 Michelin Star Vendome Restaurant allows for fine dining. The location is somewhat remote but only a fifteen minute ride from Cologne. Our stay was a pleasure and we certainly will visit again.

This property is an hold castle situated in the middle of Bensberg that is suburb of Cologne. The staff is very welcoming. I arrived super early at noon while the check-in time was 3:00pm the staff let me check in early with no hesitation. I stayed there for 5 nights and did not feel like leaving ;) The rooms/suites are very spacious with plenty of seating/relaxing area. They do provide free beverage and it will be replenished during each room service. The Italian restaurant is amazing with lots of choices. Ideally located at the downtown with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores.

The hotel is located in a great old authentic palace and the old luxury atmosphere is well preserved. The restaurants are very good and especially Vendome is incredible. It was a real treat to have dinner there. We really liked the spa, the pool and saunas in the hotel. The whirlpool, could be warmer, but all together the facitlities are very good. The rooms are comfortable, a nice bed, good bathroom and nice view over the surroundings. Schloss Bensberg is a fantastic place to relax, to have romantic moments with your loved ones and a culinary sensation.

Surprisingly good service. The front desk is really quick and efficient, requests were met instantly. The breakfast staff remembered my coffee order on the second day, while staying amongst hundreds of guests! You can grab a drink on their swanky bar, which operates separately from the hotel. They had upgraded my room and I especially loved going through the luxury book prints I found. Pillows are super soft, be warned.

The hotel felt very clean, whilst retaining a wonderful old-fashioned feel. It felt like very luxurious hotel, from the moment we walked in. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff—who later advised us on places to eat, and to find souvenirs—who were also very accommodating and respectful of our language situation (I understand but don't speak German, whilst my husband is fluent, so I prefer to be spoken to in German). The room was spotless, with such charm. The wellness area was absolutely wonderful; it was so nice to relax in the two saunas in the provided branded bathrobes, cool down afterwards on the sun terrace, and shower in the lovely showers, equipped with multiple settings (e.g. rainfall, waterfall, side ejectors, etc.). The water with lemons felt really fancy, and was very appreciated. The restaurant also provided exquisite, delicious food at a reasonable price, and they were happy to serve us despite us arriving slightly late.

Very charming hotel at a very central location in the village. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicer than we expected. Of course, the pillows were normal German standard, so not very supportive. Great bathroom. The restaurant was excellent! The staff was attentive and pleasant and very nice to talk to. The food was very good and solid wine options. A vegan menu with three courses was very delicious and you can also take just one or two of them.

Staff incredibly helpful. Hotel restaurant was shut for the evening we were there and they recommended excellent alternatives. Room was lovely, overlooking the little market square. Clean, tidy and with great shower. Breakfast ample for us, with selection as expected. Hotel is well located on a shopping street in the old part of town, with the back facing on to the market square. Limited parking, but there is some allocated underground parking just a very short walk away.

I travelled for the recently concluded Gamescom and stayed at the Savoy Hotel. Nothing prepared me for the clean and welcoming ambience. The staff were very friendly and professional. My room was ready before the 15:00 check-in time, and I was allowed access right away. On the day of checkout, I left before 12:00 but was able to store my luggage and pick it up later, as I had a late departure and wanted to visit Gamescom again before leaving. The rooms were spotless, and despite being in the city centre, it was very quiet inside the hotel. I had a great night’s sleep. All in all, it was an amazing experience, and I will definitely stay there again whenever I visit Cologne.

My room was a good size, the bed was comfortable there was an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower combined. I had breakfast at the hotel at an additional cost. It was quite expensive but the breakfast was good and there was a great choice of food available. There is a Bar at the hotel which is very good and the staff were extremely friendly. I received a warm welcome on arrival and staff were very keen to help answer all my questions. The hotel has Parking in its own garage at the site. There is additional charge for parking which can be arranged when you arrive The hotel is located close central station only a few minutes walk away and the city centre is also in walking distance, about 10 to 15 minutes.

We were delighted to be upgraded to a room with stunning panoramic views, which was a real treat. The room itself was fabulous—spacious, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. As for the location, it was ideal for exploring—just an easy walk to the train station and the Christmas markets, which made our holiday experience even more magical.

Our stay in Schloss Wilkinghege was superb and a highlight of our Eurpean trip. Our suite was spacious and luxurious. Staff were extremely helpful and willing to communicate in English. Unfortunately we were unable to eat in the fine restaurant but did enjoy the extensive buffet breakfast each morning. The grounds and buildings were simply breathtaking - This is an experience we will treasure and encourage others to enjoy.

We have stayed here before and returned as it had been such a relaxing and pleasurable stay. It was the same this time too. The experience l had was really good, although l arrived bery late and left very early the following morning so l did not get to see a great deal of the hotel. The evening porter was exceptionally helpful, the morning receptionist was again very helpful and the breakfast waitress was very efficient. Room was clean, bed was comfy, shower great, room excellent. I would definately stay again.

Historic and charming chateau on the outskirts of Munster. Easy access from the A1 motorway and free parking, unlike downtown hotels. There is a bus within a 5 minute walk, that will take you to town in 15 minutes. The public rooms in the hotel are very grand considering it is a old chateau. The rooms have all the typical amenities and are spacious considering the "antique" character of the building and the bathrooms are ultra-modern. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast buffet was varied and excellent in quality. Overall, an excellent and special experience and alternative to a typical hotel. Recommended!

Also, a fridge and mini safe in the room. The location was perfect for me as it was a short walk from the PSD Dome where I had tickets for a concert and the tram stops to get to central Düsseldorf. Also fairly close to the airport by taxi.

Amazing hotel, location is good with free parking behind a gate so feels kind of secure. Not far from hotel is tram which is going to the center in ~20min. Rooms were clean, spacious and we were able to use the Sauna and wellness place incl. Breakfast was also great, a lot of choice. Staff super friendly & helpful.

Great breakfast/ restaurant. Bar staff were attentive. Many patrons had attended a concert at the PSD Dome nearby (Dimash Qudaibergen). When we returned the staff played his music on Spotify as we celebrated. Perfect way to end the day. Thanks to them for being so attentive and considerate. Loved the fire in the foyer.

Very comfortable modern hotel in the center of Bochum. Our room was very spacious, the bathroom is brand new and spotless. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well, with a wide selection of food and beverage.

Clean, quiet and a good buffet breakfast is included in the stay. Personally I could do without the rolling news screens at breakfast. A great place for a short stay in the centre of Bochum.

Really convenient for flying into Dusseldorf and then train to Bochum. Staff were very welcoming. Very central and good location. Would definately stay again. The buffet breakfast also very good

Close to restaurants, bars, supermarkets. Only 550m from the Koln Hbf (station). Good flat, easy. but bumpy walk with luggage.

The Urban Loft Cologne was an excellent place to stay for my three days in Cologne. It is only a 2 minute walk from Central Station. All of the staff go above and beyond. A special shout out to the Front of House team (who were very helpful, knowledgeable and kind) and lovely ladies who organised the tasty breakfast options. My room was exceptionally clean, had every convenience I required and an amazing rainfall power shower. The reception, bar and communal space has a really great vibe, especially in the evenings to hangout after a long day. As a solo person travelling this hotel was just perfect. Stopped here overnight to visit the cathedral on a train trip through Germany. The hotel is well located to the station and the cathedral without being right on the tracks. Good Asian food very close by. The hotel room was simple but adequate for one night. Large comfortable bed, small bathroom with no bench around the basin, just a shelf underneath. Some cupboard space but not enough to really unpack and no space for luggage racks. Good air conditioning which we appreciated in the heatwave. No fridge or tea/coffee in the room. Free still or sparkling water and tea and coffee all day in the foyer. This is something all hotels should offer. Breakfast was simple but good. The ground floor has lots of spaces to sit and chat/work and there is a courtyard out the back which is nice for breakfast on a warm day. Reception was friendly and helpful. I would stay again if passing through Cologne.

Urban Loft was a brilliant spot - close to everything central with very friendly and helpful staff. We rented bikes from nearby Radstation and we were able to lock them safely in the courtyard. The rooftop deck is a wonderful place to bring takeout food and beverages in the afternoon. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. So many affordable restaurant options nearby.

Had a limited view of the cathedral spire from the 2nd floor; nice urban landscape view. Really good spacious shower and a modern smart TV. Very clean hotel in every area. Will hold bags free of charge on day of check-out. Convenient location 5 mins down the road from cathedral.

We arrived a bit later then the 21h00 checkin time due to traffic and snow, but were greeted friendly by the lady at the reception. We got a room at the back of the hotel, this required to leave the hotel and take a small path with stairs next to the hotel. The room was very large and clean, with a good bed and a typical German bathroom. Very peaceful and quite room. Opposite the hotel is a ski rental shop, with all equipment at hand. The ski slopes are just minutes away. The breakfast in the morning was not very extended, but certainly good enough for a good start. The hotel is on the central street leading into Winterberg, and it can become very busy in the weekends. We arrived on Thursday evening, and had a quiet Friday to ski. Saturday was overcrowded, and we left soon after breakfast. Would return here!

Even though we had a basic room it was spacious and comfortable. Before and after check-in/out we could store our luggage at the front desk, which saved us a lot of trouble. There was a very good breakfast buffet, and the dutch-speaking staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was used as an overnight stay on the last night before getting the ferry back to UK. The hosts were helpful and friendly, the hotel clean. The room was a decent size with a good en-suite. The location was good, but was still quiet and the secluded parking for the motorcycle was welcome too. Breakfast was good and substantial enough to last the day.

I visited as part of a group tour. I chose the hotel almost at random but was highly delighted with our choice. If I visited the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Friendly and attentive staff, lovely clean accommodation and excellent food! Highly recommended.

What a great Hotel, didn't expect the standard from a hotel in the middle of no where. Really well styled, the food was really great, the welcoming staff checking you in were so helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel, as a great place to have a meeting, but also to switch off and relax. Seeing some of the activities they arrange, this looks like a great place for a short break.

The room was very nice and big. Be aware that the Bathroom has no entry door , so if you are with someone you dont feel comfortable enough to see you taking a shower than make an agreement of when you will shower. Also the room cleaning seems not to include a fresh bed linen every day. Aside of this for this price it was a good hotel.

Spacious rooms, clean, nice bathroom, nice lobby, good breakfast, parking in the building. Location was on walking distance of our party, not the most interesting part of town but perfect for us.

Kind staff, good location and a big room which was really comfortable and clean. The bed was really cozy and we had free drinks in the mini bar.

It’s very cool placed as it’s really close to the office and the transport system so we had literally 0 issues getting anywhere. The breakfast was so great! The Diehlberg hotel was built in 1980 and completely renovated in 2015. The hotel offers 38 rooms over 2 floors and radiates German quality in a very quiet atmosphere. The hotel is located next to the Biggetalsperre. You find the lake at walking distance. Staffs are friendly and attentive. Our room was tastefully furnished and decorated, luggage rack, desk & chair, flatscreen TV, wardrobe & safe, fridge, good double bed, and a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet & shower. All was impeccably clean. Complimentary mineral water in the room but no coffee & tea making facility. Free Wi-Fi Internet and free parking at the premises. Free use of the spa with sauna’s and steam bath and the heated outdoor pool. Complimentary bathrobes & slippers in the room. The Diehlberg restaurant serves OK German dishes but don’t expect high cuisine. The buffet breakfast is good with ample variety and on request fried eggs are made. We had an excellent stay. To anyone who seeks a good night’s sleep in a quiet environment with great views we recommend the Diehlberg.

The Gym/ games room spa and pool were amazing and so clean. The hotel in general was really well maintained and everything looked brand new. The Bed was extremely comfortable and larger than a standard Uk double. The Breakfast had a lot of variety and was very nice in a relaxing atmosphere. The staff where very friendly. The location was really good and within walking distance of the lake.

Hotel is located between Olpe and Attendorn (both worth a visit) in the woods around Biggesee, rooms spotless most have a terrace or balcony, I was unable to try the restaurant. The Hotel has a very nice bar and has everything for a really nice stay, heated outdoor pool, fitness room, sauna and a reading room it also has a games room. Excellent Breakfast Beautiful surroundings This Hotel is great for families as the family rooms are split into two/three large separate rooms.

Spent two nights on business. Loved the cycle and pedestrian paths for running that are around Biggesee, hotel library, big and comfortable beds, quiet rooms for a rejuvenating sleep, great food, always very kind, helpful and ready-to-go-the-extra-mile staff. This hotel has got a very relaxing aspect to it and can be highly recommended for your stay (both family or business). You will not be disappointed.

What a perfect hotel. Set in the middle of the beautiful German country side. The staff are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size, clean and functional. The pool was my favourite part. It’s a great size and not to hot/cold. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family. A short walk from the boat trip which is well worth doing.

The rooftop swimming pool and spa area is fantastic. Breakfast is above expectations with a.o. salmon, fresh fruit, large selection of vegetables. The decoration is superb throughout the hotel - neoclassic and chic. The room itself (a junior suite) was spacious and cosy. Mood lighting is very advanced. We appreciated the free minibar with local juices/beers.

Lovely hotel, located right on the Rhine river bank. A couple of restaurants close by. Tram station is 10min walk to get back to Bonn central. Rooms were clean and spacious. Cigar lounge is very good and the only hotel in Bonn that has one (as far as I know).

One of the best hotels I have stayed in, the location in great out in the country side surrounded by fields. The room was great with a balcony looking out onto lovely gardens, I loved watching the robot lawn mower cutting the grass. Great breakfast in a lovely restaurant. The restaurant for lunch or evening meal was fantastic with a great menu to choose from. The staff are so welcoming and polite and a really nice touch is that the owners help out in the restaurant when it's busy and check that your pleased with your meal. Looking forward to our next visit

Located in a large area with numerous hiking trails, this property is luxurious. The hotel has all modern amenities in spacious rooms. Free WiFi is very reliable. Breakfast and dinner are rich and with excellent choices. Wine list is nice.

The Hotel De Lange Man was a really nice place to stay. Located in the beautiful little town of Rohran on the Belgium/German border, it was a really peaceful place to spend a few nights. Nearby is the tourist town of Monschau which was also very beautiful. Breakfast was of good quality and a buffet dinner was served in the evening (although we didn't try the buffet during our stay). The hotel has a bar, lounge, pool table, chess board (indoor and outdoor) and a mini-golf course. Room was very comfortable with a flat-screen tv, balcony, good size bathroom and a desk fan. Just down the road is the summer toboggan track which is definitely worth a go! Hotel staff very friendly, and even made us an early breakfast to take with us when we needed to leave very early one morning. Car parking available for free although car park is quite small. An important thing to remember is that this hotel only accepts Dutch bank/credit cards so we had to pay in cash (Euros) for the room. We stayed at the hotel to attend the F1 grand prix in Spa-Francorchamps (it was approximately a 30 minute drive to the Stavelot end of the track via Malmedy). Would definitely recommend this hotel and will hopefully stay at this hotel again in the future.

Our second time staying here and once again, it didn’t disappoint. A great drive up through the national park. Very comfy bed, good buffet dinner in the restaurant, good breakfast and extremely lovely staff. A perfect 1st stop on our three day drive from the UK down to Austria. Quiet village.

Very nice hotel, cute town, excellent breakfast buffet and a free welcoming drink at the bar is certainly a nice touch. Dinner buffet is available which is good, because no restaurants that we could find in this little town. Only about 10 minutes from Monshau, which was our destination.

This is a small and neat hotel in a very small village. We chose this as a base camp for Spa F1 weekend both for price and location. Well worth it. Less than 45min drive to Spa-Francorchamps circuit through country roads with almost no traffic. Quite reasonable price for a location so close to a Formula1 event. One thing to keep in mind that the location - although picturesque - is quite remote. As far as I could tell the village has exactly one hotel, one small convenience store, one bakery and one church. And the hotel's restaurant kitchen closes at 20:00. Be ready to hop in your car for any shopping or late dinner. On the other hand the breakfast buffet in hotel is quite good and generous. Please note that the rooms are somewhat compact. Not cramped, but definitely not very lofty. Room size is maybe even not the main issue - I found the lack of storage space in the room a bit annoying. You should be prepared to living out of your suitcase. There are activities available as minigolf and giant chess table and electric rental bikes. Didn't use them, but looked well maintained and fun. Overall - still not quite sure how I stumbled upon this lovely little hotel but sure am happy that I found it as otherwise my Formula1 weekend could have turned into an expensive affair very well indeed.

Arrived SUPER LATE - like 3-4am... had to rush off at 8-9am. My room was well designed, impeccably clean, and a welcome respite from my business in the city during the trip. My favourite features of the room were the high ceilings, big windows with lots of light, an amazing shower, and comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly professional yet warm - I found everyone I encountered to be genuinely friendly. You can tell the place was built with love and they are happy to be working there. A great environment overall and conveniently located to two metro stops (Florastraße and Messe Ost/Gruga). I would definitely stay again!

The room was modern and spacious, even with air conditioning. The hotel was quiet and our baby of 10 month slept perfectly. Usually we never book breakfast and just find something outside but in this case we are glad we last minute decided to add breakfast to our booking. It was very clean and there was definitely something for everyone. We would come back here anytime.

Conveniently located close to the highway to Dusseldorf, good for our daily comute to an exhibition there. Small place with character. Our first room (a junior suite) was not a good experience - the cleanliness was very poor, it seemed very dusty, some of the curtains were not fixed on their place and they were greysh… The design was interesting (open shower directly from the room, sink in the room) but the execution very poor if you looked at some details. I had the chance to see another room’s interior and we asked for a change for the second night. Completely different story in terms of aspect and cleanliness. So, the finall impression remained a good one. The host was very friendly. I hope she fixed the first room issues based on our feedback. I appreciate that she arranged for us a very early breakfast the morning we left. The breakfast saloon small but cosy, balanced assortment of food, omelett on demand, everything delicious.

This hotel exceeded expectations! The hotel was in the perfect location for the convention center, and was easily walkable. Check in was over the phone, with a key box outside. The room was immaculate. If you are a light sleeper, request a quieter room. Ours was in the corner on the street and was a bit noisy at night, but not impossible. The breakfast was amazing, and the owner was amazing.

The staff (and owners) were very friendly and attentive. The location, very close to Messe Essen, was perfect. The exceptional breakfast. A success

What was truly amazing is how she helped us get into a vet for our dogs for treatment so we could catch our ferry. She was on the phone for approximately 20 minutes. So kind and helpful. Another point is it had great internet.

We booked on our way home to Germany from England at very short notice. The key collection from a lock box was perfect as we didn't have to worry about traffic slowing us down for a check in time. The rooms were spotless, and breakfast provided when we asked in the morning. The breakfast was really very nice too. 10/10. Would stay here again, no question! Lovely end to our holiday.

Everybody should know that you have to read the little text of the booking carefully before coming to this hotel. They don´t speak other than germany and we did not manage to get anybody answering the phone. They require photo of you ID and of the credit card before coming even if you have paid the room in advance. Only then you get the code for the entrance and to your room. There is no personality at the place except the cleaning persons. The place itself is really wonderfully and room spacious. Everthing was working well finally and we spent a really good night there.

I like the towel & not cleaning policy particularly because a card in the room explains how much water and detergent is saved by not changing the towels every day.

The jackpot room was a good size, jacuzzi bath and large bed. Could do with a re-decoration but was clean and quirky. Love the disco ball. Restaurant is well decorated, and you just have to try the peach tea!

Had Harley and prison rooms. Loved the quirkiness! Spotless and very quiet considering its above a busy bar/restaurant. Good shower with a few toiletries. Comfy beds and slept well. Only stayed one night, would have liked to have stayed longer! Had dinner in restaurant and that was nice, massive portions!

Fun themed rooms, a little noisy at times from traffic but not too bad, the motel is located on a junction of a main road. Our rooms were fun and very clean and resonably priced.the attached diner had a great atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and great fun. The food is good and plentiful and reasonably priced. Great fun place.

On the Plus Side: After travelling around Germany for a week the room (Jail House) was certainly a break from the norm and the attention to detail was excellent. Dinner was good, filling and rather large and worth the small wait. The little breakfast room upstairs was nice allowing us to make coffee and toast in the morning. On the Minus Side: Check in was a little difficult, as it is at the bar in the restaurant, which is very busy but we got there in the end. There were no knives in the cutlery buckets at breakfast which comically resulted in us buttering toast with the back side of a fork :) Just a little thing about the top bunk in the jail house ... It could really do with a bumper to prevent people rolling out (not that we did ... but it was a fear)

Booked for something different for the trip to the match and was not disappointed with this place. Had the sell room which was fun just for the photo opportunities .warm welcome for friendly staff had us booked in in no time .bit out of central Dortmund but only 15minutes drive to the city or the stadium both easy to find. Had a quick bite to eat downstairs in the bar /restaurant again very quick friendly service.internet was never working but can live with that .

The hotel was easy to find and the room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in the "Hunters Lodge" theme room which was nicely decorated. There is also a wonderful restaurant and lounge to dine and relax in.

In few words it’s amazing experience clean full of test great restaurant. Large rooms great great great.

I liked the themed room and the restaurant. Check in was easy. Parking was easy. The decor in the communal areas, staircase etc is really interesting. Staff were really friendly. Room was spotlessly clean.

The hotel was very easy to find with a huge parking lot. Friendly staff, clean and modern room/facilities. We stayed here to go to the Dokomi convention, it was about 10min away (by car) from the hotel. Perfect. Another honorable mention was the amazing IT apprentice guy that had to walk every guest to their room due to the door keycards malfunction. He was our favourite person, such a great guy with an amazing personality. That poor guy had to escort everyone, most of them multiple times until the hotel managed to fix the keycard problem. I wish him the very best, he made our stay a 10/10! :) Everyone spoke fluent english and german. Will definitely go there again.

Close to the city center by car. Near to the airport. The appartment was full equipmet incl. small kitchen. comfortable beds. Tasty breakfast (7:30-10:30) and delicious coffee.

Comfy bed in clean room, good shower. I didn’t use the kitchen but only coffee machine. It was even 4 coffee pods ready for guest arrival !

Loved everything about this hotel! The location was great for me, close to the airport and the venue where Coldplay concert was. Walking distance to big grocery store. 10 min walk to public transportation. Super clean, comfy bed and modern furniture. Also super quiet. I will be definitely back to this beautiful little hotel.

Modern, clean, comfortable, great value the breakfast was only €1 more at booking, and totally worth it.

Soap and shower gel provided. Staff on the desk were very friendly and helpful. I checked in late via the machine which gave me my room key. Worked very well. There's a shopping mall next door so even though the hotel doesn't do breakfast, there are shops and cafes 30 seconds away. I would definitely stay here again.

Superb location literally next door to small indoor mall with late opening supermarket. 3 mins walk to tram station ( where park shuttle bus runs from) or 8 mins to main train station ( where we got train to Cologne airport.) Exceptionally clean, comfy and modern. Nespresso coffee machine very welcome. Easy outside checkin machine in English that produces key and receipt. Supermarket a minute away, lovely tasty takeaways and cafes nearby. Right on the Main Street yet quiet rooms. Could not fault this for our trip to Phantasialand, reception lady cheerful and helpful, highly recommend.

We were very lucky to receive an upgrade when we arrived for our 3 night stay. The hotel was easy to get to from Cologne central and even easier to get the bus to phantasialand. It has everything you need nearby, Aldi, restaurants and shops in the little shopping centre next door. We were upgraded to a 2 room suite with ensuites which was amazing and great after a long day at the parks. Super clean and comfortable.

The main reason I stayed here is because of Phantasialand. The location is only 10 minutes by car to Phantasialand, but what makes it even better is that right next to the hotel is a small shopping centre which is super convenient. The hotel is also modern and clean. There's a self-check-in machine that can generate room cards, and to check out you need to drop the cards at the exit. I also booked the underground parking for €10 per night via message on booking.com, which is convenient and safe. The beds are quite comfortable.

Hotel is located near public transport making it very easy to get to cologne/Bonn and phantasland. Rooms are modern,clean and very comfortable. The beds are super comfortable and it was very peaceful. There are plenty of shops and restaurants close by for food

The accommodation was equipped in a modern style, very spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms are upstairs. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet. On the farm, it is possible to purchase frozen meat (beef), eggs and cooked meat products (sterilised).

Beautiful restored barn-to-appartment, Well-equiped with a cosy, warm atmosphere. Location on a farm. Spacious. Friendly host, possibility to buy different kinds of drinks in case needed.

Fine location without any noise pollution. The apartment is well equipped and spotlessly clean throughout. Hostess was efficient and helpful to any requests. Easy access to nearby Munster and localities.

Such a cute and well designed location. We loved our stay and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Was exactly what we needed for a little country getaway.

Preis / Leistung absolut top. Check in schnell und gut. Zimmer sehr groß und alles sauber. Parkplätze auf Gelände oder in direkter Umgebung kostenlos und ausreichend. Umgebung sehr schön. Frühstück war frisch und sehr lecker. Auswahl alles was man braucht von ei über bacon, Muffins, frische Brötchen usw. wie kommen sicher wieder. einziger Mangel, Restaurant schließt um 20.30 und Bar unter der Woche um 21. Das finde ich richtig schlecht zumal noch 10 andere gäste mit uns um 23 auf der Terrasse saßen... in ca 1 km gutes Restaurant mit Biergarten "zur linde"

The hotel is located in the most picturesque and lovely little village. We stayed here for only one night but we intend to come back soon. Not only was the hotel staff very friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent value for money!

The room and bathroom was clean and cosy and staff was friendly. Highly recommended

The kitchen makes superb food and did serve food even after closing hours. Staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. There is on site free parking which is a bonus.

Despite the warm weather, the slopes were very well maintained and made for good skiing!

The accommodation is very nice clean and in a very good location close to many lifts that are easily reachable by car. It has plates, cups and utensils which is nice. There was a dishwasher and its soap in place, so we could simply fill it with dirty dishes and clean them easily. The reception and restaurant area is big and nice. We had dinner once there and it was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I cannot find fault with this small and friendly hotel. My single room was bigger than many doubles I have stayed in. Everything I needed was provided in the room including a comfortable bed, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, USB charging points and good Wi-Fi. The room was clean and comfortable with an excellent shower. There is air con for the summer and radiators for the winter. The hosts were brilliant. Friendly and hospitable. They answered all questions and gave excellent information about the city and where to visit. The continental breakfast included a variety of bread, cereals, fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, freshly cooked scrambled egg & bacon. Tea, coffee and juices were also available. I visited Cologne for the Christmas market and the hotel is in the old city and only 5 minutes' walk from the cathedral and train station. The location was perfect. Before our trip we were sent excellent directions on how to get to the hotel.

We recently spent three nights at Stern am Rathaus, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The location cannot be beat—right beside the city square, yet remarkably quiet and peaceful. We loved being just steps away from excellent restaurants, shops, and the main sights. What made our stay especially memorable was the staff. Francisco greeted us warmly on arrival and gave us all the information we needed to feel settled and at home right away. Each morning, Kai went above and beyond at breakfast to ensure we were well looked after. The spread was fantastic—fresh, healthy options, delicious warm croissants, and made-to-order omelettes that quickly became a highlight. It was the perfect start to our days exploring Cologne. We would absolutely recommend Stern am Rathaus to anyone visiting the city. Between the unbeatable location, the quiet comfort, and the exceptional hospitality, this little hotel is a gem.

Super friendly and helpful staff made us feel at home from the start. Great quality breakfast, made with love and many personal touches including home made butter! Room was immaculate with very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. This hotel is in a perfect location in the old part of the city and for visiting other parts of Koln. 5 mins walk to main station, 1 minute walk to metro, 2 mins walk to the river and many bars/restaurants very close by. Perfect trip for my wife’s birthday with amazing hosts. Many thanks to Francisco and Kai, you made us feel very welcome and we will be back 😁👍

We stayed 4 nights in the junior suite. The location was around 5 minute walk to the main train station and minutes away from a couple of Christmas markets. The room was clean and comfortable. Our suite had a tub and shower and the bathroom was a very good size. The mezzanine was perfect for our 6 year old son and the view is superb. The breakfast buffet was what I was looking forward to and it did not disappoint! The staff cooked scrambled eggs for us if we didn’t want the boiled eggs. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Ingmar and Andy took the time to interact with us and our 6 year old son looks forward every night to coming back to the hotel to look for Ingmar and Andy. They seemed like our long lost friends! We would love to stay here again next time we visit Cologne!

The hotel was in an excellent central yet very peaceful position, close to the cathedral, museums, river and restaurants. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was outstanding with many really healthy and homemade options. The room was super clean and comfortable. We hope to return soon!

The restaurant next door, I believe, is also run by the same family, offers delicious Croatian food. The interior of the restaurant is as delightful as the service; big portions at very reasonable prices; good wine too.

Lovely and super friendly staff! It is located in a more quiet town near to Cologne, around 25 to 30 minutes drive away. We had a very lovely conversation with Georgia and Mario, who gave us tips about where to eat, what we can visit. It is family owned and hence feels much more cosy, relaxed than the big hotel chains. The breakfast buffet was splendid! We got freshly cooked scrambled eggs, fresh tomatoes/avocados/fruits/bread and we felt pampered by Mario who kept coming around asking if we need more coffee or anything else. Wonderful people!

The staff is really friendly and helpful, to the point of remembering your coffee choice each breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable and the wifi was fast even for work.

Landhotel Fernsicht is a marvellous place to stay in Winterberg. Whether you"ll go for some wintersports in the Skiliftkarussell Winterberg or enjoy a relaxing week in summer, Landhotel Fernsicht ist just perfect for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel is located in a very quiet part of Winterberg, with a magnificent view of the Sauerland mountains and next to Winterbergs famous Bob-track. The rooms are spacious, very modern and all offer a highly relaxing view of the Sauerland mountains. The bathroom is fitted with bath and shower and serves fine. The ski slope is about 300 metres away, a car might come in handy if you want to avoid carrying your ski's and skiboots to and from the hotel. The most enjoyable part of this hotel, making it really special for German standards, is the extremely friendly service provided by the (Dutch) owners. Every aspect of the service, from the moment of check-in to check-out, was extraordinary and for us (living in Düsseldorf where hospitality unfortunately presents quite different standards) this was the finishing touch that makes Landhotel Fernsicht the perfect place to stay in Winterberg. So do not hesitate any longer if you're planning a stay in Winterberg, Landhotel Fernsicht is your place to go. Thanks to the Vogel family again for making our stay so pleasant.

Really friendly and kind stuff who is also very helpful. The rooms are beautiful and clean and the view is breathtaking. Breakfast was tasty and fresh-made. We will defiantly stay at this place whenever we vist Winterberg again. I really recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and had a relaxing time. The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, with a charming touch of authenticity. The manager was incredibly helpful, making our experience even better. We also loved the breakfast and appreciated the variety of food available for dinner.

The view from both room and breakfast restaurant was amazing and it was a very calm and quiet place. Our host was very attentive and friendly.
